  1. IC: Claus Diamond - Liberty Band Hall

Claus smiled as he looked at Flint, as the Monferno did some back-flips just to show off. He was proud of him, and could remember the day his dad's best friend gifted Claus with the Chimchar that he would call Flint.

"Heh, that's a coincidence. -My dad- and some friends chall... enged... the Elite Four when they were..."

Claus froze for a moment. The girl he was talking to appeared to be about his age and was describing a situation similar to his own.

"What's your dad's name?" he asked with a small amount of trepidation.

  2. IC:James Arthur/Lancelot - Ryan Hikari/Tyranitar

James saw the approaching forces with dread. Lancelot was running to play keep away from the Leopyreds’ flames. There was one move that could turn the tide long enough for them to escape. James could only pray that the Ryan had the foresight to teach it to Tyranitar.

“As soon as you make use of this, run!” he called out to Ryan, Tyranitar and Amanda as he activated the one last hotkey.

[Deflect protocol active: initiate {Spotlight, Baton Pass}]

The forces that had gathered to overwhelm them paused as their collective focus shifted to the Tyranitar. Every buff that James had gathered flew into the Tyranitar, including every product of his All-In protocol.

As Ryan and the Tyranitar struggled to keep from being knocked off guard by the Earth Power strikes that the Chimerape were using, Ryan saw what seemed to be an aura of power surround his Tyranitar. Silently he gave his thanks to James, as he took a second to finally focus on the attackers.

“You’re all in trouble now.” The man said despite how the tides were turning against them. He held his hand as his fingers slowly clenched up and then pushed his hand toward the ground as the fingers approached a fist, as a cue to Tyranitar. The Dark type Pokemon wasn’t actually looking, mind you, but Ryan felt it looked cool. Regardless, the Tyranitar roared out before stomping with all his might toward all their opposing enemies to send out an earth shattering Earthquake powered up by Belly Drum and Laser Focus.

Lancelot spread his wings and scooped up James, Ryan and even Amanda with his strong arms and hovered above the Tyranitar that marked the epicenter of the Earthquake. James was willing to let the attack finish, but not wait a second longer.

“Change of plans. Ms. Zarth, teleport us out of here,” James said all patience lost.

  3. IC: Claus - Liberty Band Hall

Claus coughed as he turned away and tried to think of a way to change the subject. He'd take this to somebody higher up later on. It could be nothing, but it was worth telling somebody just in case.

"So... uh..." Claus sputtered as he tried to think of something to say.

A fortuitous event gave him an out, as Flint decided to pick that moment to exit his Poke Ball. He had been watching from inside his Poke Ball with some degree of jealousy of Richard's Pokemon and wanted to play with the instruments too.

"So what sort of Pokemon you got?" he asked with at least a little hint of desperation to re-ignite the conversation. "That's my Monferno over there. I call him Flint, y'know like the former Elite Four member?"

  4. IC: Miror B - Old Chateau

"Cy-cy?" the ethereal girl spoke in surprise, leaning in from the balcony. The butler's eyes widened too as he realized who the newcomer was.

"Hey! Hey!" Miror B yelled with impatience, his dancing paused in sheer frustration at people continually going off script. "Where did you come from? This event was invite only!"

The Chandelure was hit by the Toxic and the Lilligant was struck by the Cross Poison and was sent reeling. The Ludicolo responded to the Flamethrower with a power Hydro Pump, but between the Flamethrower's strength and the bug's distractions, the Hydro Pump was unable to follow through it.

"Fine, you all want a free for all? You've got one!" Miror B slammed down one more Poke Ball to release a Volcarona.

The free Ludicolo used Swords Dance while the rest of Miror B's team reassembled. The Volcarona began dancing the same Quiver Dance the Lilligant did. At the same time, the Lilligant and Chandelure tried to take a more offensive tango to the enemy, recreating their flames and petals, and directing them at all comers. When his Swords Dance was complete, the Ludicolo charged with Waterfall at the Houndoom.

  5. IC: Miror B - Old Chateau

Miror B paused in his dancing for a moment with a scowl before returning to a fierce tempo. "Alright fine. Ludicolo, fight back!" Miror B called to the Ludicolo being assaulted by the bug. The Ludicolo span around in a feverish dance as water sprang up from his head, turning into a whirlpool to pull off the bug.

"Chandelure, Lilligant! It's time for your Pas de deux!" Miror B's words causing a murmur in the audience. They had seen him perform this before.

The two grew close together, and began dancing in a waltz. As the Lilligant took a step, a giant shower of petals rose up around them in a spherical. This Petal Dance they might have seen coming. When the Chandelure took a more metaphorical step, tongues of fire engulfed all the petals. That Fiery Dance from a Chandelure may have been slightly more surprising. The sphere of burning petals assailed anyone and any attack that tried to assault the dancers.

As the song hit the instrumental section again, the girl in the box stuffed a microphone into the butler's hand. He seemed apprehensive about doing this, but a nod from his mistress caused him to sigh and resign himself to his fate.

"Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand!" the voice came from the butler. It didn't quite sound like Vincent Price or Boris Karloff, but the low soft quality had a creepy mystique all its own. "Creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorize y'alls neighborhood."

  6. IC: Miror B - Old Chateau

The afro'd man danced like a man twenty five years his junior. His spinning and jumping keeping his crowd riled up. The comment from Adam on the other hand caused Miror B to seamlessly transition into an angry stomp before returning.

"Shows what children like you know. Try this on for size! "

The Chandelure flared its flames towards its own body. The light reflected off its surface, creating a giant Flash, consuming the battlefield with light. The all consuming light disoriented all Pokemon on the field, save for the Lilligant who knew the attack was coming and closed her eyes as she began to shake and quiver. The Quiver Dance increased in speed as it continued, with the tempo reaching its maximum as the flash died. The disorienting flash made most of the physical hits miss, with the sole exception being the Aerial Ace striking the Lilligant, who responded by spreading a sea of Sleep Powder over the field.

And the other exception being the Joltik.

"Hey, Ludicolo hasn't taken center stage yet! Leave him alone," Miror B warned as the Ludicolo tried to knock off the Joltik.

The only other hit to have succeeded was the Bubble of all attacks, causing the Chandelure's movements to slow. In response to that, the Chandelure mixed a smog into the powder that its partner released.

  7. IC: James and Lancelot - One Island

Lancelot waited for the opportune moment to strike the chain as it rebounded away from the Tyranitar. With a precise strike, Lancelot launched the chain back at Samurloch and chased after it, intending to hit the samurai with a Lunge if he tried to dodge the chain.

While Lancelot was racing after the samurai, James crept up beside the dark suit user. His comms were damaged and he needed Ryan to be able to hear him without letting Samurloch in on it.

"Listen. I have a plan that might force him to retreat, but it will be a desperate gamble. If you are willing to try it, distract him along with Lancelot. Leave your Tyranitar ready to attack."

  8. IC: Miror B - Old Chateau

A laugh came up from the crowd, the assumptions these kids had made were quite different from what Miror B. had already told them.

"Oh no you won't be facing each other or any other combination of unseen combatants. No limits on how many Pokemon you may collectively use, to be absolutely fair" he said, the light in his sunglasses sparkling.

The lights completely and suddenly died before multicolored spotlights appeared, focusing all attention on the clown.

"You'll be facing me! The one, the only, Miror B!" a shower of fire works erupted, spooking some of the ghosts from surprise. The light in the room returned to normal after that.

"As for a reward..." Miror B scanned the room for a minute, one arm stretched out and his other hand holding his chin. "You three!" he suddenly called his arm pointing towards the possessed speakers. "Win this challenge and receive three fabulous Rotom as your prize!"

"Is that fair mistress?" Miror B called to the girl above who responded with a nod. The three Rotom looked between each other, surprised to be suddenly up for sale.

"Then without further adieu! The main event of the Disco and Souls of the Dead Revival Tour commencement party can get underway!"

The Oricorio shivered and spun in anticipation causing a portal to open in the ceiling with a new stream of souls of the dead poured out of the new hole in response. The Ludicolo backed up and stood guard on either side of the dancing bird. The Chandelure spinning from the ceiling descended to place itself in front of Miror B while the disco devil threw out a Poke Ball. From the ball came a Lilligant.

    "Let the music play!"

  9. IC: Miror B - Old Chateau

Miror B never stopped tapping his foot while watching Ruth and Adam. Well not everyone was gonna get what they were gonna do. Sad, but true.

"Y'see we're all quite tired of people telling us that everything we stand for, everything we care about is dead," Miror B said with such an air that it was clear that he was about to launch into a giant monologue. The clearness with which he spoke seemingly indicating rehearsing on Miror B's part.

He turned around and took a melodramatic wistful tone, "You may have heard of some shenanigans happening in the Orre region. Cipher, Snagem. Whatever you want to call them tried throwing a reunion bash some few months back. Now I attended that shindig, but what did I find when I showed up? A bunch of aging fools just wanting to put on the exact same show. Those types who don't try to grow, now -they- are the truly dead ones," he added, spitting out the final phrase.

"Well after that went nowhere I wandered for a time. A certain bespectacled child stole what Shadow Pokemon I had left and buried any dreams of bringing back that song," he span a full 540 degrees to face the trainers again.

"Then I went to Alola to try and recharge my batteries and I met a certain Pokemon." Miror B snapped summoning a spotlight on the purple plumed bird which paused its dance for just a moment. "Now imagine my surprise when I learned what my new friend Oricorio here could do. Call spirits back to our world with a dance? My heart fluttered at the sight. And I knew who would appreciate our talent," he said spinning around to point at his ghostly crowd who cheered as his fingers gestured towards them.

"So I looked around, searching for the most haunted locale I could find when I came here. And like that I met our lovely mistress. Say hi mistress Gracie Olde!"

The pale ghost girl perked up and waved down to the adoring audience below. Miror B let her savor the moment and waited for the audience to calm down once again.

"Well we hit it off delightfully. I summon the ghosts and she provides guidance. After tonight we're gonna take this show on the road. Show the world that it can't just leave us behind. All for the sake of Team Miror!"

"Ahem," a soft clearing of the throat came from the box up above as the girl watching below gave a disapproving shake of her head.

"Er... I meant, Team Gracie," he said with a sweat that clearly showed that he meant to leave that last line in his rehearsals.

"But, first we needed to celebrate our plan. I suggested a dance contest, but we couldn't find enough worthy competitors. Then you all dropped into our laps and I thought 'why not have a large Pokemon battle display?' Mistress decided that was a brilliant idea and so here you are! Any questions?"

  10. IC: James/Lancelot - One Island

"Lancelot!" James called as he descended towards the level Lancelot was at as quickly as possible, using Rock Climb.

"Evade and use Lunge!" he shouted, reaching the bottom. Exhaust ports extended out of James's legs, charged for a moment before the Extremespeed launched him forward.

Lancelot didn't need to be told twice. He ran diagonally towards the Samurloch, towards the opposite side of the rocks approaching him. He passed very close, but did not quite touch the flames. Normally, one would be quite uncomfortable even getting that close to such heat, but Lancelot was already feeling on fire. His body felt boiling from power, his face wracked with ugly jubilation. His soul danced with thoughts of dismemberment, disembowelment, and dissection as he shoved his sword towards the samurai using the uncanny move they had discovered along with this form.

OOC: U-Turn replaced with Lunge (Special move approved)

    IC: Richard - One Island

Richard heard the other Devagore approach from behind as well as Executive Aaron's order.

"Welp, show's over, time to exit stage left," he said as he activated the Aqua Jet protocol. If there was one thing battling in Unova without a license taught him, it was running away. Jets of water propelled Richard forward away from the two Devagores and the beach.

    IC: Jamie - One Island

Jamie grunted as the fire and earth collided with her suit. She tried to pick the right move to block everything. But even if she blocked all the attacks, she couldn't mount a counter-attack without reinforcements. She heard James's voice, where was he? She needed to know what to do.

"Jamie, stay safe! Retreat if needed!"

Jamie was still for a moment as she heard the message call into her comm. Lucia was watching. She was counting on her. Jamie nodded to herself, she would make an exit right here. She extended her arms towards both sides of her and concentrated. If she couldn't do this, she would die. But she would do it. She -had- to do it.

"TIME WILL FREEZE!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, her eyes glowing blue. With obedience to her call, a gray field encircled the area around her. As it covered the Instances surrounding her, they all came to a complete halt, completely frozen in place.

Struggling to hold the field together, Jamie shook Tristan's Poke Ball free and let it drop to the ground. The hulking Metagross sprang forth and saw the situation. He was completely stunned, a little horrified, but as his daughter was currently being threatened by these freaks, shook it off. He smashed the nearest still Instance with one of his hind legs before grabbing Jamie with a fore leg and running off, the young Heroine of Time straining to keep the frozen zone she had created stable as she was moved out of it.

IC: A confused father - One Island

    "What in the-"

  11. IC: Full Moon

“I’m sorry to hear that,” Lohe said walking over to Jenny. “Glad you at least had a good time with her though. What’s she like?” he asked as he offered a hand towards Jenny.

“She’s pretty fun. There were some things that got her upset today, so I followed her and talked for a while. I haven’t actually talked with her since she got back home, she was supposed to have a discussion with her sister about things. I hope that turned out well.” Jenny giggled slightly as she took Lohe’s hand to stand up. She felt like a walk would be good after sitting for so long too, but continued to talk.

“But really, she’s fun. She’s just as energetic as me, if not moreso, and is really creative. I actually used that to my advantage to cheer her up earlier, too!”

“Heh,” Lohe let out a soft chuckle as he pictured it. “Sounds like more energy than I can deal with. I’m not what you’d call a ‘high energy’ kind of guy, even at the best of times.” He was looking right towards Jenny now. “Is she about your age?”

“Nah, she’s a lot younger.” Jenny chuckled at the thought. “I think I’ve become her honorary big sister, though. It’s a nice feeling really! I feel like I’m older than a lot of people here that I’ve met, though sometimes it’s the other way around. . . I can’t really tell sometimes.”

Lohe nodded, “Yeah, I understand the feeling. Sometimes you can feel like the oldest person in the room, sometimes you feel like the child. Speaking of,” he paused for a moment, “tell that girl to enjoy her youth while she has it. Children are so full of imagination, make sure she cherishes it.”

The woman giggled as she nodded. “That’s a good point, honestly! I agree wholeheartedly, though I think she already knows to cherish it. The amount of games and imaginary stuff she can think of rivals me! Like for instance, earlier when we finally left the forest, we pretended that it was home to vampires!”

“Vampires?” Lohe responded with an amused look on  his face. “Oh, this I gotta hear about,” he said leaning back on a tree.

“Yeah, we started by having her pretend to be a vampire queen, and then she tackled me and taught me to be wary going into the woods in case there were any!”

Lohe laughed slightly once more, “That’s funny.”

“Huh? What’s funny?” Jenny tilted her head in confusion as she glanced at Lohe to make eye contact.

    “You didn’t learn your lesson.”

Jenny’s eyes widened for only the briefest of moments. She couldn’t move, she felt completely was frozen in place. She couldn’t yell. She couldn’t speak. She couldn’t even form coherent thoughts. Across from her, Lohe’s eyes glowed blood red, the full moon clearly reflected in them. She stumbled but didn’t fall to the ground.

“There you go, stay in that trance,” Lohe said as he caught the uneasy girl. “Just stay like that, I promise you won’t feel a thing.”

Lohe fished around in his coat pocket and pulled out a first-aid kit. From it, he pulled out disinfecting rubbing alcohol from the kit, as well as a roll of bandages. He rolled up Jenny’s sleeve and opened the bottle of disinfectant. He applied the alcohol to Jenny’s arm with an experienced arm.

“I’ll make it up to ya later. You’re gonna feel hungry after this. I’ll buy you lunch tomorrow. I’d advise something full of sugar,” he said as he faced her directly in her eyes again. His eyes glew again as he added, “You’ll remember that I promised to pay tomorrow right? I pay when I can.”

Lohe stroked his stubble as he considered what the story should be. “Alright, if anyone must know, you were attacked by a wild Pokemon and I helped fight it off. Otherwise, keep your lips about this whole next bit, will you please,” he asked both rhetorically and sarcastically as he kept his glowing eyes fixed in her own.

He placed the rubbing alcohol back in his kit and placed a hand on her forehead. She had begun to dream in her trance. The seasoning had been prepared. The meal was ready. He opened his mouth and let an ethereal stream come from her head and trickle into his mouth.

“Well, thank you for the meal,” he said politely and sank his teeth into her shoulder.

  12. IC: Butler - Old Chateau

The butler nodded slowly upon hearing the reply of the four trainers. "Very well then," he said and stepped through the open door.

The group of confused trainers, reluctantly or not, followed the butler out of the room. Waiting for them outside were a line of maids waiting on either side of the hall.

"It is good to be fully staffed again after so long," the butler mused as he walked past the line, maids curtsying as the group passed. "I do have to thank the clown for helping us with that."

They walked down a large corridor, the well kept condition of the room belying the image of a ruined mansion they had seen before falling asleep.

What appeared to be halfway through the hall, they saw a great door as tall as the large corridor they were in. As they approached the door, the group noticed that the building was shaking. Rhythmically. In a consistent pattern.

They hardly had time to process this as the butler spoke once again. "The party is in the grand ballroom, through these doors. To be honest, I don't know what the clown expects of you. Keep an... open mind," he said with hesitation as he opened the door.

    IC: The Party

There's was plenty to take as the group stepped through the door.

What they might have might have taken in was first the disco theme that was being played might have taken their notice. Or maybe the three massive orange speakers with faces and electric plasma extending from each of them in the back of the room playing the music. Bouncing up and down to the beat of the very song they were playing. The combined noise causing the same shaking they had felt on the outside of the room.

Otherwise they might noticed a strange Chandelure spinning from the ceiling. It's shiny, mirrored appearance casting patterns of light all over the the otherwise darkened room.

Perhaps the columns of ghostly wisps descending around the center stage would be the first. Wisps, spirits, ghouls and Ghost Pokemon of every kind responded to the music, seeking partners among themselves. All socializing, dancing, talking and plotting.

Or maybe the grand box that overlooked the grand ballroom, with a young woman in a fine dress, laughing heartily at the grand display might have been the first thing they saw, the exuberance contrasting her pale appearance.

But what they probably noticed first, was the grand stage that towered over them in the center of the room. The raised platform's extravagant decoration only matched by its size. On top of it, the total center of attention, with spotlights providing illumination dwarfing the Chandelure's soft light, was a man with a massive red and white afro dancing wildly, standing behind a purple plumed bird and flanked by two Ludicolo. The ghosts descended according to their combined dance. Ghouls would rise in response to their groove and spirits sauntered in to their swingin'.

"Stop the music," he called as the trainers entered the room, stopping his feverish dancing, shocking his ghostly audience and the Rotoms screeched the music to a halt.

"What?" the girl called from the stand, the butler suddenly by her side, despite the trainers not seeing him move. "Why are you stopping?" he called to which the afro'd man held up a hand asking for patience.

With all eyes on him, he pointed towards the group of trainers at the door with his other hand. "Ladies and gentleghosts, I present to you all tonight's main event!" he called and a spotlight lit up the group of trainers and a staircase was rolled out before them, giving them a way up to stage.

"Welcome darlings to our grand party!" he called to the trainers below. "I hope you don't mind that we started without you, but I had to help this crowd work up their ectoplasmal perspiration. I am your host, the star of our little show, the elegant Miror B!"

  13. IC: Lohe Mahina - Forest

Lohe turned towards Jenny and slightly swung his head from side to side in thought. "My name is Lohe. Lohe Mahina," he clarified, as he turned his head side to side ever slightly. Definitely needed a moon like this after a day like today. Got treated like an outright criminal for asking questions at an inappropriate time."

He stopped turning his head and stared at Jenny sidelong.

"I got a general knack for rubbing people the wrong way, but I'm just trying to do my job."

Lohe sighed and took a deep breath to calm down.

"Anyway, sorry for venting a bit there. How's life treating you?"

IC: Claus Diamond - Band Hall

"Yeah, well, get this," he said as he prepared to explain a mission more in detail something that to him, made a Pokemon band seem mundane. "They got these weird suits of armor that people can use to let them use Pokemon moves. And they're going to Three Island to test them out fighting those things. Whatever they're calling them."

It occurred to him that is was odd that she didn't actually know any of this.

"I guess you're not Liberty then? I'd think you'd have heard about it if you were. What brings you to Four Island?"

  14. IC: Lohe Mahina - Forest

"Alola, actually," he mentioned still looking deep into the moon. "Got sent here looking into that whole Pokemon power mess."

Still without moving he asked, "How about you? You working for Liberty?"

IC: Claus Diamond - Band Hall

"Hmm? Oh," Claus got slightly embarrassed as he remembered that what he was doing was not normal.

"Sorry to disappoint, a friend of mine actually trained these," Claus admitted, kicking himself slightly for not taking advantage of the chance to impress a girl, whilst also knowing that it was wrong to even consider.

"He's... on a mission right now, and with Pokemon power out, he left them with me for safe keeping. Asked me to keep 'em practicing so that's why I'm here."

He thought about whether to be vague about what mission Richard was on at the moment, but considered that it had been made public to anyone in the base.

"To be more specific, well, did you hear all those announcements yesterday?"

  15. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

Another energetic person... Lohe thought as the woman spoke.

"I wouldn't know," Lohe said looking off into the moon.  "This is my first full night here. I was just trying to get a lay of the place."

Lohe stared into the moon not speaking for a moment. He smiled at the seeing the fullness of the moon, and just took the moon light in for a moment. "Kinda glad I found my way here, though. The moon is beautiful tonight. Really refreshes ya."

IC: Claus Diamond - Liberty Band Hall

"Well here we are," Claus said awkwardly as the pair reached the band hall. They looked around and saw no one but the band's director there. And he was clearly only there because he was obligated to be. "Guess no one's really in the mood to be playing music."

He fumbled around in his coat pocket for a few moments, mumbling as he searched for the extra Poke Balls he had on him. When he found them, he tossed them all out.

"One sec, I gotta get these guys set up," he said casually, as if there was nothing odd about what he was about to do.

He signed out the instruments Richard had wanted for them again and helped bring the instruments out. Half of them were still undecided on their choice of instrument. Some of the more adept and decisive of the group seemed to be trying to figure out how their chosen instrument worked.  Only the Diglett seemed to be making real progress, though it was trying to compensate for being unable to use Earth Power to help himself slide the trombone.

  16. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

A nap worked wonders for Lohe's sleepiness. Sure to most he still had five o'clock shadow, plenty of bags under his eyes, a sleepy demeanor, a slight hunch in his back despite dropping off his backpack,  and more or less looked like he'd just rolled out of bed, but to him he was refreshed and ready to face the day. Well, night at this point, Lohe considered as he walked under the moonlit sky. He had been neglecting to eat and woke up hungry, but the cafeteria had to be closed and empty by this point. Nothing much he could do about that now. He decided to take a walk to get his mind of his hunger and help himself get the lay of the land. Tomorrow would present a better chance to speak with people in charge. Right now he was content with a walk through the woods.

His ears twitched slightly. He could hear slight rustling of grass and the sound of breathing. Someone else was out here.

Lohe paused and turned in the direction of the sound. There were two possibilities, it was either human or the rare Pokemon that didn't flee from his presence. Whichever it was, it was worth a look. So he put one foot in front of the other and walked into the clearing.

In the clearing was a woman lying down on the forest floor. Her eyes were open but she was still enough to look like she was asleep.

"There are better places to take a nap than on the ground you know?" he said looking, half-sarcastic half-amused at the not-quite-asleep Jenny.

  17. IC: Awakened Knight

When the Moonblast reached the top of the tower, it burst into a blinding light. From the same blinding light leapt a red blur. Before the Plite could react, the blur collided with it, tearing through it like paper. Without slowing down, the blur lunged at the Cerebeuron, impaling it and bringing it down to earth.

The Instance fell off the ethereal yellow blade that it held. It surveyed the landscape to identify its next target. The tower of flames made the choice clear. Type wasn’t a factor to the blur, he was the only one capable of facing this.

A kick of its legs sent the figure back into a blur. A loud burst accompanied the kick off, as it charged the the being that summoned it, iron wings spread, slashing low at the samurai, the Aerial Ace being carried by the blade.

The samurai's surprise could not have been more palpable. Noticing the attacker just in time, it barely managed to raise its own blade to defend itself. The swords clashed together, and though it remained relatively unharmed, the force of the impact was still enough to launch it back several steps, skidding through the sand before coming to a stop, where it could only flare at the new arrival.

The blur took form as it clashed with the samurai, allowing all who can spare a moment to look to see what it was. It was a Scizor, but with a star-shaped mask on its face. Its pincers were also longer, more jagged, and had spikes coming off the bottom of it. Its feet ended in spikes that looked like they could pierce even the hardest concrete. Ash had been fused to its armor causing it to look blackened in a lot of places.

On top of the building, the blinding light died, revealing a green barrier covering the men standing on top of the building. At the center of the barrier was a figure in white armor. Most of his helmet had been blown off and his face was clearly visible. It had been covered in burns, and the shining quality of his armor dulled with ash and the armor was laden with dents. He lowered the arm that produced the Protect to clutch his chest.

“Executive Arthur reporting in. I am ready to rejoin the battle!“ the ivory knight yelled at the top of his lungs, using Uproar to carry his message to the people on the battlefield below.

  18. IC: Jamie - One Island

Jamie shouted the worst curse she knew as she summoned a King's Shield to protect herself, "Darn!"

The Tri-Attack bounced uselessly off of the summoned shield, only managing to push Jamie back an inch. When the attack subsided, she pulled on the chain still attached to the Maniakoll, intent on bringing it back into melee range.

    IC: Richard - One Island

Pain wracked Richard's head as he tried to find his voice to sing, the moves to dance. Yet, he kept himself smiling. The show must be finished no matter what happens.

"You are the ocean's gray waves, destined to seek
Life beyond the shore just out of reach,"

He managed to get the words out, but they held no more power. It was time to finish with a literal interpretation. The rain coalesced once more, but this time not into bubbles but a stream of water.

"Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time
The path is yours to climb/"

The stream grew into a great tidal wave that came crashing towards the dark-type instance in a thunderous finale.

"You are the ocean's gray waves."
  19. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

If Lohe wasn't suspicious earlier, he was then. The uncertainty in her voice was loud and clear to his ears. As were all the voices in the hall they were in.

"The floor's a comfy bed as any when your tired enough," Lohe said from experience. "Well, I'm pretty good at listening to directions, so I don't think that'll be any problem. Besides, I like to be alone for a bit before going to bed. Let's me wind down."

He turned around and paused for a moment.

"I probably won't need to bother you and your friends any more. From the looks of things, I'm not exactly welcome," he said before walking away.

  20. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

The tired man little regarded Olivia as she followed him. He had to find his way back to the front desk, and Olivia knew the place better than him at least. He would've continued to not mind were it not for her constantly taking sneaky glances at him. Well, trying to be sneaky glances at least. Even in his half-asleep state, he could tell she was trying to observe him. There were plenty of people around them the entire time they spent looking for where Executive Seaver was, so he didn't feel like confronting Olivia about it.

Arranging the diplomatic housing with Seaver was largely uneventful. They had to wait for the Executive to check Lohe's references on who sent him, but was eventually confirmed and officially welcomed to Liberty's headquarters. He considering looking for food, but decided he should probably get some shut-eye first. He'd be stumbling everywhere were it not for staff. After ending their brief meeting with the executive, Lohe turned towards Olivia.

"Alright," he said holding the key to his room in his hand. "I think I got a good idea of where I need to go. I can go the rest of the way myself. Thanks for all your help."

  21. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

"Contentious much?" Lohe said at Paul's remark. "I'll probably try to go see this Executive Seaver first. Maybe a good night sleep will make me," a pause for another yawn, "popular around here."

"Thank you for your time and help," he said casually as he walked towards the door without as much as a look in the direction of the three other occupants.

  22. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

Lohe looked dead at Olivia with an odd cold stare.

"What do you-" realization hit him, "oh, you mean the Kahunas?"

The face he was making faded and he eyes returned to wandering.

"No, none of them sent me. We have a more..." he leaned himself back as he tried to remember the word he was trying. "Modern? I guess that's one word for it. A more modern government, too. The one that collects the taxes, pays for the healthcare, all that stuff. Higher-ups there sent me, I don't know who gave the order specifically. But I was available, so I got the call."

He scratched his five o'clock shadow for a moment thinking.

"I suppose that reminds me, if you want actual help from Alola dealing with this whole... M0?" he said pausing the check his tired memory. "M0 thing, the Kahunas would be a good place to start. The Champion too. The people of Alola would rally behind them. I'll pass that on to your leaders if I get a chance to speak with them. But I was told to do a specific job and that's what I have to do."

  23. IC: Lohe Mahina - Four Island

Lohe shrugged, but didn't even turn to look at the man addressing him. He wasn't wrong per se, but he was really taking it out on the wrong guy.

"As I said, they're looking into the future whether we got one or not. Agree with them or not, I don't have a say in what I get to do about it. The way my employers see it, it's not their problem."
