It is $24 dollars for each set of 6. So it would amount to $96 for all 24 sets (all six Bohrok, Vahki, Toa Nuva, and Bohrak-Kal). To ensure shipping is made as little as possible, I would suggest not including the canisters or instructions. Would this be fine with you?

Yeah, I suppose so. The little clips might be cool to have even without the canister to click on to, for the Bohrok I mean.

If the shipping is like, ridiculous 'cause I'm in the States, I might not be able to go for it, though, but I am hopeful :)

For the first three (Bohrok/Kal/Nuva), I think shipping will be roughly $20-$22. Which is reasonable give that the package is over a kg. Bear in mind that shipping is cheaper than buying these seperately from different people because they charge abut $3-$5 a set if done seperately!

I might be interested in the Metru and Voya Matoran.

Also, I'm definitely interested in Toa Mahri Kongu, Lewa Phantoka and Tanma. How much would they be?

I'll sell those three for €13 given that I paid €26 euro for them (so half).

The toa metru and ultimate dume interest me but I'm not sure about shipping since I live in Canada.

I do not see it being for $20 USD. Maybe even $16 USD. Just don't include the canisters and instructions and this will ensure the shipping is around that. :)

  3. Hi guys! I am back to sell off what remains of my collection.I am in need of only cash or a sealed Exo-Suit which I will value at retail price and not for the absurd prices going around on the internet. I only accept payment through Paypal and cash in Euros (Buyer may send money through post at their own risk). At the moment, I am not at home so my inventory may not be 100% accurate though I am confident that the majority of the things listed are in fact still in my possession. I will be at home at the end of the month and will ship by start of September where possible. All items are used but are in great condition and come from a smoke free home. I accept Paypal and of course, buyer pays shipping + additional Paypal fees. I will do my best to make the package as compact as possible to ensure you get a fair shipping price.

Please note that for now, I am only selling any canister/small sets in sets of 6, and would prefer to send sets without canisters even though I have them as this will keep your shipping bill from getting too expensive. I may not have all instruction but I have the majority in good/okay condition. All sets are complete and come with their original pieces (like original Kanoka, Masks, Kraata, etc...). The price I have listed below account are for sets without canisters and include instructions were applicable. This is a great opportunity for those looking to collect sets to make Kaita sets. So without further ado, here is my inventory: (prices in USD $) The more you buy, the more discounts I will give.

    All six:

    Bohrak Va: $10
    Bohrak/Toa Nuva/Bohrak Kal/Vahki: $24 each

    Rahkshi/Toa Metru: $25 each
    Metru Matoran/Voya-Nui Matoran/Rahaga: $13 each
    Toa Hordika/Visorak: $27 each
    Piraka/Toa Inika: $33 each
    Boxor: $25
    Exo-Toa: $45
    Bahrag Twins: $70

    Makuta: $25
Takanuva and Ussanui with sparkly Avohkii:  $35

Krekka/Nidhiki/Turaga Dume and Nivawk: $15 each (would prefer to sell together. If this happens, I will include the Ultimate Dume Helemet too)
    Keetongu/Roodaka/Sidorak: $20 each
Umbra/Axonn/Brutaka: $30 each (last two MIGHT not be for sale I'll decide but you can offer anyways)
    Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo: $35-$40

Also have 2005 playsets so you can make offers for those.
I also have an Ehlek, Toa Mahri Konhu, Toa Lesovikk with Sled, Toa Lewa Phantoka and Tanma if people are interested

You can make offers for the sets and I will consider these offers so prices are negotiable.

No 2001 sets for sale so please do not even ask.

    Thanks. :)

  4. The pockets are big enough for the masks, but it's a tight squeeze for the Akaku. The lenses stick out far enough that they will inevitably stretch out the pouch, if left in it long enough.

With all of the masks in place, the holder is kind of bulky and the profile of the Kanohi can be seen from the exposed top and bottom. I've had trouble with dust making it's way in through the openings, though it mostly settles on the pouches and not the masks. The masks aren't all going to be completely covered, though, so some dust can potentially get to them depending on how you store the case.

Does the holder fold over comfortably when all the masks are inside? Besides the Akaku, do the masks fit in comfortably or is there any noticeable strain on them?

  5. Hey, I was wondering if someone who owns/owned this could tell me a little about this product. Were the pockets big enough for the masks? Did the entire set fit in the holder without problem? Does it protect the masks sufficiently? I know their are 73 flaps but just want to know a little bit more about it before possibly buying it.

All feedback is appreciated. Thanks. :)

  6. The thing about Lhikan's Hau is that not only did it appear prominently in one of the movies, but it also bears a very close resemblance to the classic design of the Hau (two holes in each cheek rather than three, but the same was true of Jaller's Hau in BIONICLE: Mask of Light, and that didn't make it any less recognizable). The version of the Ignika that came with Vezon has barely a passing resemblance to the Ignika's later and more iconic appearance.

You're lucky not to have had any pieces break. A number of my family's 2005 and 2006 sets had at least one 7M double ball cup break. It wasn't always as disastrous as the way bright yellowish green ball cups in 2007 or any ball cups after the 2008 redesign would often shatter, but it still discouraged me from MOCing with those pieces in the future.

I suppose, but it's nice to know that you have one of the most powerful Kanohi on your set. It adds to the cool factor. :P

  7. Oh, man, I just remembered... back then, your proto level was a HUGE deal. Gaining or losing proto was everything to a member... I remember feeling sick when I got deproto'd the first time. It was devastating. So was the second time. I remember gnashing my teeth for days because I didn't agree with the rationale behind my deproto. It was a misunderstanding, I tell you! A simple misunderstanding, taken out of context! You have to believe meee...

Agreed. I remember initially, I would read over my posts carefully to ensure I wasn't breaking some kind of rule or something. :P Alot of people judged you on your proto levels. I remember rules in B/S/T like 'No deal if you do not have atleast neutral proto levels' or something along those lines.

The golden age was just really a busy time. Alot of the times you wrote a post but the forums were to busy to upload it making you frustrated. Actually frustration is something I would heavily associate with the golden age.

B/S/T was also alot busier back then. :'(

  8. I don't see why we would need to remove them. They are not hurting anyone and most people at one stage just spammed them which was fun at the time ( :P ). Alot of those emoticons have been there for atleast 10 years. They are part of the site's history. We already lost the archives so it would be better to keep what history we have left rather than try get rid of more.

An '01 Rahi or '06 Titan set. Both of them fabulous waves.

I was going to say this. If I had to hone in on one of the sets from each, I'd have to either go with the Tarakava or Muaka and Kane-ra and Vezon and Fenrakk.

I think Vezon and Fenrakk would be a better pick than Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo as you get the action figure/rahi combo, an even more iconic mask, a more posable set and something that just stands out more. It looks very menacing and slick from any angle.

I hardly think the version of the Ignika that comes in Vezon & Fenrakk is anywhere near as iconic as any version of the Hau. It hardly ever appeared prominently in promotional media. With the 2008 or 2009 versions of the Ignika I think there'd be more of an argument, since those appeared extensively in media.

Also, Vezon & Fenrakk came out after issues with fragile joints started to crop up, though they weren't as prominent at that point since they typically only affected this piece.

And Toa Lhikan's Hau appeared prominently in promotional media? I do recall seeing it anywhere other than in his set or the movie. I mean it doesn't even come close to the original Hau/Nuva that in 2001/2002, which were everywhere. The same can be said of the 06 Ignika, but I just meant that the set contained a mask that played a vital role in the storyline whereas I am not sure the same can be said about the Hau.

I can't comment on fragile pieces. I never encountered any faulty piece.

I have never discussed Bionicle with my classmates in both high school and college as they don't like Lego. They are aware that I like Lego, though.

People shouldn't be embarrassed about it. It's essentially saying you are embarrassed for who you are but I do understand why people don't talk about it.

I understand why some people deny it though, especially as a teenager. People can be mean for really dumb reasons.

Avoiding ridicule and being embarrassed are two different things. Of course, I was the same, but now as an adult (physically at least), I am more open about my passions and interests. If people can't accept that then I shouldn't be associating myself with them.
