  1. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Koro prison):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Koro prison):"When is the trial?" Henkka asked Stronin."When are we gonna break out?" Alex asked at the same time. Henkka gave him an annoyed look. He knew, of course, of the experience Alex had of escaping captivity, but he did not feel it would be wise to so openly defy the Po-Koro guard.
  2. I'll get straight to the point. The Karda Nui saga of 2008 was originally supposed to tell the final tale of the Toa Inika and them saving the life of the Great Spirit. It was switched to the Toa Nuva awakening Mata Nui because the Lego group wanted to move out of the MU (bad choice, IMO). The conclusion of the Toa Inika quest was 2007, then.I've been wondering about the original plan of the awakening of the Great Spirit. It most probably wouldn't have featured Karda Nui. Karda Nui was the heart of the Great Spirit so it was logical place for the "saving Mata Nui's life" saga. But where would the Toa Nuva have awakened Mata Nui then?A logical answer would be Metru Nui, since it's in Mata Nui's head. The brain controls sleep and therefore it would've been a logical place for the Toa Nuva to awaken Mata Nui. However, I doubt it would've happened there since the Lego Group wanted to change locations frequently and wouldn't have wanted to use the Metru Nui setting again. My question is: what do you think would've been the place where the Toa Nuva had awakened Mata Nui if Lego had followed the original plan? How would they have done that? Where would you want it to be?
  3. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Koro):Henkka stood beside Alex as the evil time-traveler was being given medical help."You're probably thinking what I'm thinking", Henkka said, ignoring Naona's colleagues."It's one timeline", Alex responded. "Normally past actions only affect the future. What we're seeing here is the future affecting the past.""We're reshaping reality", Henkka said, doing his best to ignore the confused looks of Naona's colleagues. "We're making it into something it is not. ""The Mask of Time. I think we broke it", Alex said, earning more surprised looks. "It broke and we fused with the fabric of time."Henkka was getting nervous of the looks they were receiving and decided to do something about it. He started laughing and pointing at Alex. "One funny fellah, isn't he?" he snickered. Alex rolled his eyes. "Nice one", he said, not meaning it at all. When the medical treatment was done, Alex stood up on Syyge's feet once again. "Well. It suffices. Now let's go. I think we have a date with that Toa of Stone."
  4. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Koro):As Naona left with Stronin, Henkka could not help frowning at the stone Toa. There was something in her he did not like. True, Stronin was a criminal, but the way Naona treated him was still... disturbing, somehow.Henkka glanced at Alex and saw the "let's make a break for it" expression on his face again. Henkka could see Alex in a way nobody else could. He saw Alex's true form and his host's form at the same time. He was willing to bet Alex could see Henkka this way as well."Just remember", Henkka said to Alex. "No mind in doing anything irrational."Alex grinned. "Of course." He turned to Naona's colleagues. "Now, if you could get me some medical help. Preferably fast."
  5. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi):Strange, Henkka thought. He doesn't remember Lohkare... but if it feels familiar..."Well, he's a Po-Matoran", Henkka said. "Maybe you've met him?"When we get to Po-Koro, I really must see if I can find him, Henkka thought.Alex had his own thoughts about the matter.Just like with that pirate, Alex mused. He did seem to have this hunch as well. Well, it proves a theory of mine. This is certainly not another dimension. We exist and we affect the same timeline and reality. And it seems we leave our marks here and there.Alex looked at Henkka and saw he was already looking at him. Their eyes met and instantly they made a silent agreement to discuss this as soon as they were alone."How much left to go?" Alex asked, remembering his condition.
  6. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi):As the group walked, Henkka thought about the situation. He and Alex had both been sent on this crazy time-travel journey through the usage of the Life Machine. It was called that because it could be used to reanimate the dead. For such amazing feats it needed a strong energy source too. The Vahi was good for that. Alex and Henkka had collided with the machine... and the Vahi... maybe...While Henkka pondered about the beginning, Alex thought of the ending. He was greatly annoyed by Henkka's "leadership" attitude towards him. He would make sure Henkka regretted it. However, they'd have to get back to their own time first. And Alex wasn't sure if he could wait so long."Stronin..." Henkka suddenly said, breaking the silence. "Do you remember a Matoran named... um... Lohkare?"
  7. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi):"Let's get going then", Henkka said and went to help Alex up again. He whispered to Alex before they left "Just try and control yourself. We have to cooperate to get out of here."
  8. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi):Henkka's eyes widened as Stronin shoved the responsibility of answering to Naona on him. He thought about telling her the truth, that he and Alex were time-travelers who needed to get home... but she would never believe it, Henkka was certain."Do it my way", Alex suddenly said and magnetized Naona to a nearby boulder."NO!" Henkka yelled and let go of Alex's arm. Alex's other side fell on the ground while Stronin was now dragging him all by himself. "Demagnetize her", Henkka ordered. Alex's face was full of hatred and anger. "Just watch it", he said. "It's a truce, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to follow your stupid orders!"Alex pulled his other hand from Stronin's grip and sat down on the sand, clearly in pain. "My leg..." he mumbled to himself."He's injured", Henkka said to Naona. "He needs medical treatment. We need to get him back to Po-Koro."
  9. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Temple of Wisdom):Henkka and Stronin lifted Alex off the ground and helped him to the exit. Minutes later they emerged from the cavern, back onto the sands of Po-Wahi."We should take him to a medic", Henkka suggested, referring to Alex.
  10. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Temple of Wisdom):"Okay," Stronin said, pulling himself out of the rubble. "Time for you guys to head back to the asylum. I can help you guys go back if you don't know the directions, but I'll need to get a drink first." Alex turned to face Stronin. "Watch it", Alex said with a cold, harsh whisper. "You have no idea how weak the ice you're walking on is."Henkka realized his mistake. He had spoken to Alex openly, even called him by his real name, allowing Stronin to hear. It was no surprise the Toa of Iron thought the two were crazy. Henkka thought for a while about telling the truth. Would it do any good if Stronin knew? Or anything bad for that matter? Before Henkka could make up his mind, Alex turned to face him once again."It's a deal", Alex merely said. "A truce until we're back in our own reality."Henkka nodded, but at the same time, he did not trust Alex at all. However, even a faked truce was better than none, considering the circumstances. "Deal", Henkka said. Then he turned to Stronin. "Could you help me with him? We'll have to help him out of this cavern."
  11. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Temple of Wisdom):Henkka collapsed on the floor, exhausted. It had taken a great amount of energy to use the Komau. And it hadn't even worked. Alex's will had proven to be too strong.Alex had also been drained by Henkka's efforts to control him, but he hadn't been the one attacking, but rather defending. He had more energy left than Henkka and he knew it. Sensing weakness, Alex pushed away some rubble only to realize his left leg was badly injured. Well, Syyge's leg. Alex could not even move it."That's it!" Alex cried, turning to Stronin. "You're a dead Toa!""Alex, don't!" Henkka suddenly shouted. He was on his knees on the floor of the cavern, still weak from using the Komau. Desperacy had fueled his voice, Alex realized, and decided to kill him now. Alex found himself too weak also, though, and thus couldn't manage even a small sphere of magnetic energy."And who are you to tell me what to do?" Alex snapped at Henkka. Henkka lifted his head to look at his arch-enemy."We are not achieving anything at all by fighting each other", Henkka said. "We've done it enough to see that. Besides, killing the other will only do us harm.""Just what are you after?" Alex asked, suspicious."We're bound to time", Henkka began speaking, completely ignoring Stronin. "I believe we're a part of that. We have experience of time-travelling, maybe we can use that knowledge to get out of this circle. If we co-operate, we might find a way to return to our home and then we can finally settle things there. But as long as both of us is stuck in this time-travelling thing, it's not benefitial for anyone if we kill each other."Alex was silent.
  12. OOC: I meant more like every piece of one's body repelling each other and thus ripping the being apart. I guess I just phrased it poorly. Sorry 'bout that. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Temple of Wisdom): Alex was greatly surprised by Stronin's strength when the Iron Toa managed to rip a portion of the wall he was stuck to and launching himself at Alex. Another wall collapsed on the two after the collision. Henkka stood up as the wall fell on the two Toa (well, one was possessed, but still). He decided to gamble and activated his Komau, attempting to control Alex's mind. Alex had always had a strong mind, but Henkka had even more so. Besides, Alex had just been crushed by a wall, distracting him. Henkka realized that he was wrong. Alex's mind had evidently been strengthened by the constant time traveling as had Henkka's. It was a battle of wills now. Both squirmed due to the mental struggle, Henkka trying to get control over Alex's mind while Alex did his best to resist. This left both of them unable to do anything else.
  13. IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi): "Let's get in then", Henkka replied and walked over to where Stronin had sunk into the sand. Henkka could feel himself falling down through the sand... IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): No sooner had Alex heard of Henkka's position upstairs when Henkka came through the ceiling and landed beside Alex. Alex quickly reacted by punching Henkka in the face so hard his enemy toppled over, groaning. "This time you're finished for good!" Alex shouted and kicked Henkka. He then began collecting Syyge's energy in order to unleash a powerful magnetic blast enough to make a being explode.
  14. OOC: Trying to fly and take the entire wall with you? o_O IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): It suddenly occured to Alex that if Stronin was here, Henkka wasn't far away either. "Where's Hen-I mean, that Toa of Air?!" he inquired. "He's here, isn't it? Tell me or I'll break you into atoms!" IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi): Henkka frowned as Lohkar's crew passed without notifying him. He then returned to Naona. "Seems to me like we should enter", he said. "If that group of pirate's got out of there, it couldn't be a trap. Right?"
  15. IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi): Even as Stronin went into the temple, Henkka ran to Lohkar and his crew, who had just came up from the spot Stronin had descended to. "Hey, excuse me?!" he shouted at them. "I saw you came out of that hole. Did you happen to see a Toa of Magnetism there?" IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): Alex watched as Lohkar and his crew exited the temple through the secret entrance. When they had gone, Alex went to the exit himself, just when Stronin plunged down through it and landed on Alex. "You!" Alex spat, magnetizing Stronin to a nearby wall.
  16. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): Alex looked, dumb-struck, as the scene unfolded. The battle of the Kartayl... the disappearance of the mask... along with the Marines falling somewhere... I need a break, Alex thought. He had been too late. Maybe if he had interfered, the mask would be his. Or Syyge's. Whatever. What would he do now? He could try and challenge Lohkar now... but what good would that do? What was the point if having revenge on someone who didn't even know him. Lohkar had never met Alex before in this reality. Alex could try and track down Kalama and force him to tell him about the Kartayl... but would that be any better? It might be just a wild chase with no logic behind it. Alex shrugged. Then, making sure Lohkar or the others couldn't see him, he began looking for a way out other than the chasm. OOC: Well, this was... unexpected.
  17. OOC: Woah. Lot has happened. And you guys seem to be quite confused about the story yourselves. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): As soon as Alex saw the battle for a mask - named Kartayl? - he shut off Syyge's Iden and returned to the body. He was in the room with the platforms. He passed the room and arrived into the room with the dead spider. After that room was the one where Agarin had performed to some statues. Alex was no performer, but fortunately the way had been cleared for him. He went through and found himself in the room where the battle raged. Kalama, Yorlonda and Lohkar all had their crew's here and all wanted to have the shiny mask. The mask that was about to be Alex's. However, Alex was no fool. He would not challenge so many opponents. So he stood back and waited, watching the battle.
  18. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): Alex peeked behind a corner to see Lohkar and his crew open a shortcut to - where? Alex would find out, of course. He had passed the staircase with the darts easily by creating a magnetic field around himself to repel all flying darts. Now he stood behind a corner in the chamber with the platforms, watching Lohkar and the rest solving the puzzles of this temple for him. He did wonder what had happened to that spider, though. Why had Lohkar's crew returned here? Had they found the spider impossible to defeat? What of Kalama and his crew? Alex activated his Iden and his spirit flew to check on things... IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi): "Stop it, you two", Henkka said sharper than he'd intended. "We must work together to catch... that Toa." His head turned to the spot where Alex had vanished. "It just doesn't seem right", he said. "He walked in there almost as if he had known where he was going. We should probably examine that spot closer."
  19. OOC: I hope you're not mad at that tying up thing. If he was tied up tight, he could've gotten free by making a magnetic field around himself to loosen the rope. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Temple of Wisdom): Alex drew back his spirit again and inhabited Syyge's body once more. The battle he had seen had been intriguing to watch. As Kalama and Lohkar would clear out the obstacles, Alex would meanwhile get the treasure himself. He walked over to where they had entered the temple. The spot should be right - Alex fell into the sand and inside the temple. IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Wahi): "Did you see that?" Henkka asked Naona and Stronin in awe. They were searching for Alex close to the Temple of Wisdom. "He sunk into the sand just like that! A trap, maybe?"
  20. OOC: He didn't actually tie the rope. He was tying it when Alex wriggled and then he punched him and went to Lohkar. I understood he never finished the tying up. If this is not the case, I'll edit my previous post.
  21. OOC: No problem with the autohit, but I really don't see how that would be enough to render Alex unconscious. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi, near the Temple of Wisdom): Alex saw stars, both in his head and in the sky. The punch had temporarily knocked him out. Alex quickly regained his senses and looked at the rope tied around him. The rope hadn't been knotted. With a few shrugs, Alex got free. He quickly ran further from the site of the conflict. He hid himself behind another dune and watched out carefully for Arzanyos or Lohkar.
  22. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi, near the Temple of Wisdom): Alex was fascinated by what he was seeing. Kalama's crew had just entered the temple and naturally, Alex had followed in his spirit form. He was staggered to hear what Kalama and said. There was a treasure in that temple. Perhaps even a weapon... or a powerful Kanohi mask... whatever it was, Alex would find use for it. He was about to return to Syyge's body, when he saw Arzanyos tying the body up. And he was tying him tight. Very tight. With no time to lose, Alex quickly returned to the body and swung his body in order to kick Arzanyos. Then he began wriggling free of the rope. "What is it with people trying to tie me up?" he said. IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Koro): "Let's go then", Henkka said and lead Naona and Stronin out of the village. "I bet he's not far away"; Henkka said. "He wants to kill me anyway and he's not going to lose me. I'm sure of that."
  23. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Koro): Alex's spirit form floated in the air around Lohkar, watching and listening to their every move. He saw Kalama being swallowed by sand further away and Lohkar commanding his troops to advance. This was very interesting, to say the least. Not only Lohkar existed in this universe, but it seemed Kalama and everyone else Alex had met during his past adventure did. He was intrigued by how Kalama and Lohkar were enemies in this timeline. They'd been allies in the one Alex had been to before. This was perfect. Perfect for Alex and his twisted plans. Henkka could wait. He would pursue and track Alex all the way here anyway. Alex guided his spirit back into the body of Syyge, which was hidden far away from the temple. Alex had used Syyge's Iden to make the scouting trip. At first he had been quite afraid to use the mask. He had theories about where the spirit of his host was stored whenever he was transferred into a new body. One theory had been that the spirit still existed in the host body, only dormant. In that case, using an Iden would give the host a chance to control himself again. He might even be able to block the return of Alex. Therefore, using the Iden was a great risk. A risk he was willing to make. Fortunately, Syyge's body had been waiting lifeless in its hiding place. That meant that his spirit didn't even exist here currently. Where might it be then? Alex moved Syyge closer to Lohkar and his crew, doing his best to stay out of the radar of the Arthron. He then activated the Iden again and moved his spirit form close to the temple, spying and hoping to gain information.
  24. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi): Alex wasn't used to following orders or to retreat. Still, the presence of so many warriors who were willing to kill him at Lohkar's command were enough to send him backing away. Alex was evil, not stupid. Kiox and Raknar threatened Alex and made him back off even more. "All right, no need to get so heated up", he said. "But I'm not going to Po-Koro. Neither should you. There's a Toa of Air and a Toa of Iron terrorizing it. They'll kill anyone in sight." Alex was far from Lohkar's crew by now. "Good luck!" he shouted and let the group go on their way. * IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Po-Koro): "So, you wanna prepare somehow for our little trip to the desert?" Henkka asked Naona and Stronin. "My guess is Al-I mean, that Toa of Magnetism is there even now. He was wearing an Iden and might be watching us, so we'd better be careful... and quick."
  25. IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Po-Wahi):Alex waited for a moment before releasing Lohkar. He had been right all along, then. This timeline had nothing to do with the one he had been before. Still, the thought of attacking and killing Lohkar felt so appealing... "What kind of business?" Alex kept inquiring, ignoring the fact he was probably annoying the pirate a bit too much.
