Let me explain. My parents have left for vacation for one week, which leaves me to fend for myself until they get back. I also have to take care of my seven week old puppy Willow, which is almost as bad as taking care as a human infant. This makes it impossible to do many things, including playing my Xbox. Now I'm alone and bored.
Oh yeah. I'm also stuck at the house, because I'm not allowed to drive on my own yet due to my epilepsy. So I can't leave this house other than being taken to school. Can't really do anything outside either because it's freezing and there's snow everywhere.
At least I have the laptop. *waits for laptop to combust spontaneously*
I had no Idea they would make another one so soon! The trailer looked cool, and the new sets look great animated.
Can't wait to see it. Hopefully it'll be good.
I had a great time at my Order Of the Arrow Dixie Fellowship this weekend. Lots of stuff happened that is hard to recollect, because I'm not too great at describing things in text.
First off my Lodge; Tsali, held the fellowship at our camp. So it was real fun to know where to go for stuff. I also got to stay in a cabin my troop had been working on for a few months. I actually got a decent night sleep!
Anyway, my lodge won lodge of the year again, plus placed first in Indian Drumming and Indian Dance Group. I recorded all the competition stuff on my video camera.
Did some patch trading too, got a few good ones, but the most important is when I let my brother borrow a patch I had to trade for a rare one he was looking for. In return he owes me a lot. So far I now have some more 2005 National Jamboree Halo patches. The best one has Master Chief with a Pelican ship in the background.
We also had some V.I.P.s like the National Lodge Chief, and were told that our Fellowship is the best in the country!
So that's about it. If you would like to see any pics of patches, or have any questions. Feel free to ask.
Well here's the shirt I made for myself. I know I'm not staff, my apologies. However this shirt was the perfect size for my current stature, and blah blah blah blah. But I added a little something I thought would differentiate myself from staff as well as give a hint to everyone who I am.

Closer Look
I got that image from another screen that was about to be wiped clean. So I used it one last time.
Found some cool Halo figures at ToysRus and GameStop over the course of two days. I was really surprised to find the Arbiter so soon. They must have just put them out.
Halo Wars Arbiter
Marine
Halo 2 Master Chief
I like keeping the in their packages for some reason. I used to buy Matchmaking figures too, but I lost interest in them. Seeing as it's the same figures constantly repainted. If you want to see more of my collection, I'd be happy to let you see. B)
Also have to start my new job tomorrow. 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. I hope I can manage such a long work schedule.
Now I know what you're thinking. Why am I talking about next years BrickFair? Well I felt inspired by all the wonderful exhibits and excellent diorama like settings. I'm hoping to create my own for next year! I'd love to make an exhibit that visitors and other BZPers would enjoy!
I need your help though! here's my two ideas so far.
Dinosaur theme park setting (aka Jurassic Park). With fencing between exhibits, visitor areas, and much more!
Or recreation of a Dino Attack scene. Using the sets and custom built destroyed city buildings to resemble the dramatic apocalyptic time of 2010!
Please let me know what you think, and ask others what they think of these ideas as well.
Is it too early to plan for BrickFair this year? It's just lately I can't stop thinking about it.
Mostly because I'm having dreams about it........Mostly nightmares though........ I get wweird dreams when I'm in college.
So anyway. I'd better save money for the summer. I guess I'll be making shirts once again, and that alone will cost a lot. Plus I want to be able to help out the BZP staff pay for stuff like the hotel (Maybe I'll get to sleep in a bed!)
Oh yeah. Sisen and and some other BZP staff asked me to make special Lazer tag shirts for them. See! I didn't forget!
I just hope I get to meet the people I met last year and have even more fun. It seems my experiences are better each time I go.
Maybe I'll build something this year too. I've got a few ideas.
Yes. I'm already planning for it. I even have a design in mind for this years T-shirt.
Actually I've been wanting to ask how people feel about how LEGO discontinued the discounts for BrickFair attendees. I know that they announced it in their email newsletter, but I wanted to see if people would still go to the LEGO store during BrickFair without the discount. Personally I probably would. I can't help being a Hero Factory fan. So I would do what I did last year, and build all the summer sets for everyone to see.
And seeing the new trailer for Brain Attack, it looks like there might be some larger sets this year. Boy do I miss building huge those Bionicle models. Why are Hero Factory sets so tiny?
My first day at BrickFair was awesome. I haven't had so much fun in such a long time.
Highlights:
I had a blast meeting all the staff members and friends I knew from BZP before hand.
Bringing the shirts to the BZP spot. Moments later I was swamped with customers for them, (how exciting).
Speed building a Krika set with Janus.
Order a LEGO brick name tag. (Need to get it tomorrow)
Meeting more great friends, like Senjo and Nukaya.
Trading Pokemon with Nikira.
Selling masks to some fellow members.
Buying a custom Spartan.
Taking some pics of the MOCs and the great Bionicle Mosaic Projects.
Talked to ChocolateFrogs about the Jamboree.
Bought some Dino Attack figures.
Chilled out a little more.
Said goodbye and left.
Post BrickFair:
Went to hotel and got directions for LEGO store.
Went to LEGO store.
Found the Dropship set. Plus got a 10% discount because the box was damaged.
Back at hotel.
END
Anyway. I'm leaving at 2 tomorrow. So I'm gonna try to look at the rest of the convention center. Also kinda bummed because they won't sell me a BrickFair 2010 brick. All because I didn't register... I'm here aren't I?!
Hey everyone. I've been thinking of going to BrickFair for quite a while, and it's a high possibility that I may go next year in 2010. I was thinking of what I could do while I was there. So I was thinking of bringing a video camera and filming a good amount of the event. Maybe even interview and have fun with some BZP members as well.
What do you think about it? If your thinking or are sure your going to BrickFair, let me know what you think.
Hello everyone. I need some help about what I should do at BrickFair.
My biggest concern is where I should put my shirts if I'm going to sell them there. Is BZP going to have it's own place there, and would it be a bother for me to set up shop there? I'm just nervous that I'll make a bad first impression. Since I'll be seeing so many important BZP members. So so so nervous!
Other Questions:
1. Should I bring any sets?
2. Can I bring certain items for trade?
3. If I brought a video camera would anyone like to use it?
That's about all I can think of for now.
P.S. If Black Six lets me. I volunteer to buy a set for them to review. Like the Furno Bike of the Drop Ship. If I get it back when they're done.
Oh and Pics of Hero Factory Baddies! Corroder Xplode Thunder Meltdown
