Yup. Just came back from my Senior Prom. Danced, socialized, and dipped food in the chocolate fountain.
Went by myself of course. Mainly cause a lack of popularity, as well as the love of my life not being able to join me. But I had a great time. I'm glad I went.
It turned out much better than I had hoped, and now I'm waiting for friend(s) to come over for an after Prom party.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Friday as well.

Hello everyone. I need some help about what I should do at BrickFair.

My biggest concern is where I should put my shirts if I'm going to sell them there. Is BZP going to have it's own place there, and would it be a bother for me to set up shop there? I'm just nervous that I'll make a bad first impression. Since I'll be seeing so many important BZP members. So so so nervous!

    Other Questions:
    1. Should I bring any sets?
    2. Can I bring certain items for trade?
    3. If I brought a video camera would anyone like to use it?

That's about all I can think of for now.

P.S. If Black Six lets me. I volunteer to buy a set for them to review. Like the Furno Bike of the Drop Ship. If I get it back when they're done.

Here's a drawing I did for a project for drawing class. I called it the Hecules Rattlephant. I hope it's alright.
I just wanted to thank all my artistic BZP friends for inspiring me to work on drawing and to strive to let my ideas and imagination come to life.

    Thanks for reading, Raptor

Let me explain. My parents have left for vacation for one week, which leaves me to fend for myself until they get back. I also have to take care of my seven week old puppy Willow, which is almost as bad as taking care as a human infant. This makes it impossible to do many things, including playing my Xbox. Now I'm alone and bored.

Oh yeah. I'm also stuck at the house, because I'm not allowed to drive on my own yet due to my epilepsy. So I can't leave this house other than being taken to school. Can't really do anything outside either because it's freezing and there's snow everywhere.

At least I have the laptop. *waits for laptop to combust spontaneously*

    FREE FOR ALL!

Welcome once again, friends to another BZPower t-shrit contest. It may be the 10th anniversary of the Glatorian and the Bara Magna saga, but the decision has been made that this year, anything goes! Any design for any Bionicle character, setting, icon, etc. It's as simple at it gets. So have fun!

A special note. I'm happy to announce ChocolateFrogs as co-collaborator for this years contest!

Rules: Your design must be a simple design, one color, and must be medium sized. A previous winner and decent example is linked here. Link
Your design must also be black on a clear white background. This makes it easier for the screen printing process.

You may post your entries in this thread, and have until the end of May to submit your design.

The Prize: The maker of the winning design will receive a free T-Shirt!

    ADDITIONAL INFO:
The winning design will be chosen through a voting process of the members of BZP.
Colors will be suggested and chosen by the members as well.

Feel free to ask any questions if needed.
That's all for now. Have fun, and good luck!

I thought it would be fun to show you the steps of making a project in my graphics class.
The idea this time was to make a cereal box design and make it fit onto a box to make it look like it was an actual cereal product. The first steps for any project of course was to think of an idea of what to use for a cereal product. Also, a name would have to be catchy and make people want to buy the product.

Here's the ideas I came up with: Link

Which idea made it to the next step? Check back here tomorrow to find out!

Just about finished. Pic 1 Pic 2

Should I bring it with me? I'd give the original creator credit of course. I was just wondering if other people wanted to see it.

I also made some custom colored Ussal Crabs. I'll post pics of them tomorrow.

Worst Brickmaster issue ever. All it consisted of was pages of instructions on how to build random models like ships and cars. Plus it had a really weird combiner for Hero Factory. Not appealing to the eye. Oh yeah, and some building contests and an article about New York.

It didn't even have the Hero Factory comic! Nothing!

Luckily I found a normal edition of LEGO magazine at my local toy store for free! It had everything, and was way better than the current Brickmaster. Much better.

What a load of Rubbish.

There you go! The prototype shirt! This is a size large, so the logo will look better on smaller shirts. As for some smudges and mistakes. Chill. It's a test shirt, and did I mention it's hand made.

I got Friday and Saturday off! I can finally rest. Play some games, and cash the paycheck I got today.

Also going to hang out with my dad before he goes away to be the Scout Master for the 2010 Boy Scout National Jamboree.

I'm definitely going to need to make a blog about BrickFair! I'm so nervous!
  11. Brappy Hour
Got a couple patches that I got from people who went to the Boy Scout 2010 National Jamboree.

I didn't go because this summer I needed to work and other stuff like BrickFair was on the calendar. Plus since I'm not an actual Boy Scout anymore (Assistant Scoutmaster), I thought others deserved to go more than me. But since my dad was the Scoutmaster for this one I decided to see if there were any cool patches..... There was.

    Plus I went in 2005.

Anyway. Here's what I got.... So far.

    Halo Reach Patches:
    Delegate
    OA Flap
    Back Patch

    Utah National Park Scoutmaster patch

Speaking of Boy Scout stuff. I'll be away this weekend for an OA ordeal. B)

Well I beat the game on hard. Once again it was short. Got stuck in some areas though, but that's to be expected from a harder difficulty.

Lots of easy achievements too. So I'll try multiplayer more and see how far I can get.

Also. It's hard to understand which series the game belongs too. Is it Generation One or the Movies?

I liked this game compared to the others. Especially since there was no human counterparts in it. I watch the movies and shows for the Transformers. Not the annoying human characters and emotionless hot chicks.

Hello to all. I apologize for the late update. In truth, I've been very busy over the past few weeks. So there's been a big change to the shirt ordering process.

There were complications getting the design and size, with that there was no time to set up preorders. I wanted to get them done as soon as possible, in case more problems arose with the priting process. The good news is that they're done, and the bad news is that they can only be bought at BrickFair next week. There's a limited number, but there's a chance that some could be left over for online members. We'll just have to wait and see.

Here's the finished shirt --> LINK

The shirts are $10, and like I said. There's a limited supply, so keep an eye out for Brappy Hour.
    Hope to see you there.

    Thanks for reading, BR.

Hello everyone. If you find my blog entertaining and enjoyable, then I apologize for the lack of updates.

Lots of stuff has been happening in my life that I had kept to myself and only a select few friends. The fact is I have a rough life that I have thankfully left behind in the year 2011. I've been in a lot of mental pain for a long time. First off as silly as it may seem, I was really hurt when toaoflife left me for another boy/man. I felt betrayed, and I still feel as though I may never find another potential soul mate. So the depression ate at me like a fire devouring a forest. It still hurts to this day.

Next. This was probably the worst college semester of my life. I had four extremely nerve wracking classes. Sociology, World History, English 113, and World Religion. I actually enjoyed World Religion though. However these classes required tons of papers and projects. Which was tiring and stressful and felt like there was no end in site.

At the risk of getting in trouble. I don't like the new BZP at all. It's hard to keep up with people, and I feel as though many of my past friends are trying to avoid me or don't wish to be friends anymore. I feel alone a lot. This has caused a decline in my activity on the site, and I've always felt great sorrow when people have a lack of interest in my blogs, or what I have to say. There isn't even much to do in the trading forum. However I've been asked to help in some BZP projects, which warms my heart up a bit.

Finally. The straw that broke the Camels back, was that after caring for him for several months. My 14yr old dog Rocky passed away from illness. Rocky was more that half my age. It felt like loosing a brother, and I felt like all the love and care I gave him for the past year had been all for nothing. I was there the whole way. Seeing his health and life deteriorate, having to carry him around when he lost the energy to stand, feeding him when he couldn't get up. But I'd do it forever if that meant keeping him comfortable and healthy. I had to bury him with the help of my father the day he died. I hope to never feel this pain for a good long while. Even though I know this will happen again in the future. This pain is as certain and inevitable as the event that has caused it. Death.

After all this pain and mental stress. My family saw that my health was at risk, and took me to a doctor. It was here that I was prescribed anti depressants. I felt so helpless and embarrassed that I had to resort to medication for all this pain. I felt like I had failed myself. To keep a strong will against all these horrid events.

After a few weeks I felt better, and eventually all the things causing the pain either subsided or I've comes to terms with. Sara is gone. This ###### on Earth semester is over. I still have a few friends on BZP, and Rocky is no longer suffering. We'll meet again one day.

With this new year comes new hopes and new beginnings. I'm starting a new semester with less stressful classes. I'm looking at the better things in life than the bad. My personal Faith feels rejuvenated, and I've reignited a long lost friendship with an old friend. Things are looking up for now.

There are other things I'd like to discuss, but this is enough to read for now.

    Thanks for reading, Raptor.

I always had the thought of making BZP shirts just to sell on the site. Let other people have a chance to represent their favorite site for everything Bionicle. However, what's held me back is the fear of low sales. Selling at BrickFair was super easy. Just a normal person to person sale, and I believe most people are more comfortable that way.

One of the biggest problems I have is that I still have shirts from last year. Maybe people didn't like the design as much as they did this year, but it sucks that the ones I made by hand are still lying in my room, wishing to be worn by a true BZP member.

I don't know how to really ask the question, but I'll put it this way. If I make BZP shirts to be sold online, would there be a reasonable market for them?

    As always, Thanks for reading.

Made another animation! This time shorter, but with blur affects! I'm adding affects to my first animation as well.
Of course credit once again goes to InnerRayg for the sprites.

The Reach Beta is Fantastic by the way. Lots of changes, and lots of fun to be had.

Well. I always enjoy making people happy, and fitting in.

    So I'll offer this Link

    And these Link

Oh, and I guess these. Link

I hope to enjoy everyone's company this BrickFair.

I'm looking for a place to get the shirts made in the meanwhile. So please forgive me if they cost a bit more than before.

Also a roommate for the week would be nice.
  18. Brappy Hour
    Yeah. Just got home.

Sorry I left early. Everyone else I was with wanted to go, and I had no say in the matter.

I was hoping to say goodbye to everyone, but no one was around. Did anyone even notice I wasn't there later today?

Anyway. I'll post pics tomorrow, and talked about other junk.

I'll let you get back to your Staff Member Slumber Parties now.

Due to the fancy tie-dye design voted for by the community, the overall price for a shirt for this year will be $15.
Because of this. I'm only taking reservations this year. If anything, I may get an extra of each size, but that's it.
If you're going to BrickFair 2018 and want a shirt, please leave a comment of what size you'd like in this blog. http://www.bzpower.com/board/blog/1433/entry-138194-bzp-shirt-design-results/
You have until Thursday evening to make a reservation. So let everyone who may want a shirt know what to do. If you don't reserve, you ain't getting one.
If there are any extra shirts? The first person to ask me and brings cash gets them. Simple as that.

This is a big investment for me, so please be serious when posting your shirt size and showing your interest.

Yes, today marks the 19th anniversary of my birth.

Went to see Avatar in 3D! It was pretty good.

I also got a video camera a a gift from my family, so I'll be a camera man for BrickFair!

Also. I can't determine whether having a birthday two days before Christmas is a good thing or bad thing.
