It still had my stuff on it.
It was fixed for real this time.
It had a 90-day warranty on the repair.
This warranty included the repairs themselves, which were free.
It looks like the logic board was beginning to fail. It's going to be sent to Apple, and they're going to try to repair it. If not they'll just take out all of the parts and put in new ones.
This unfortunately includes the hard drive.
I won't have my computer for at least a few weeks, and when I do get it back I may have to spend some time setting it up again and retrieving things from my last (Year old >_>) backup.
I'm now on to Prime 3. It took me half an hour to get the friend voucher for juggling the training drones....
I gave up on the part with the Space Pirate attack on the Olympus because I couldn't close the airlock fast enough to save that one trooper no matter how many times I tried. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow...
So, since we only get one post in the profile topic, I thought I'd make a blog entry where you all can comment about how much my characters suck.
Name: Canama (Can-am-uh)
Gender: Male
Species: Toa
Alignment: Neutral Good (Rarely lapses into Chaotic Good)
Description: Has a build somewhat similar to the Toa Mata, though a bit leaner. His armor is golden-colored, except for a second layer of silvery armor protecting his upper torso. His mask resembles a Hau Nuva in shape, though it's no more powerful than a normal Hau.
Mask: Hau, Great Mask of Shielding
Weapon: Two swords. The blades are silver-colored, while the hilts are a blend of orange and gold.
Powers: Fire elemental powers
Personality: Intelligent, but somewhat antisocial.
Biography: Canama has been a Toa as far back as he can remember. He formerly had a companion and partner in Naiia, but the two went their separate ways after a falling out. He has mostly worked alone since then.
Weakness: He has little appreciation for the "unity" thing. He'll work in groups if he must, but he won't like it. He can also be a bit rude.
Name: Naiia (Nai-ay-uh)
Gender: Female
Species: Toa
Alignment: Neutral Good, some aspects of Lawful Good
Description: She has a mostly average build, but is a little taller than the average Toa. Her armor is blue colored, though there is a bit of golden-colored armor that protects her torso.
Mask: Miru, Mask of Levitation
Weapon: A katana (She thinks it's cool. I'm sure some of us would agree.)
Powers: Water elemental powers
Personality: She's kind to those she trusts, but very aggressive towards those she considers enemies.
Biography: In her Matoran life, she ran a successful shipping company. However, an employee stole a large amount of money and resources from the company, and framed her for the crime. She was outed from the corporation, and even after her name was cleared had no desire to return. After being transformed into a Toa, she tracked down the criminal and brought him to justice. She spent a long time afterwards working as a vigilante, spending a few decades in a both personal and professional relationship with Canama. They went their separate ways after an argument of a nature known only to them.
Weakness: After her experiences as a Matoran, she can be paranoid at times.

...Look, I was bored, okay?
And this is the internet. People feel compelled to share the tiniest, most pointless details of their lives on the internet. Just look at social networking sites.
I like how a little thing about my "Currently..."s can change into a mini-rant about the internet.
It is 1:40 AM where I live right now, and I am printing things out for my science fair report. After this, I will go to bed for about 4 hours so I can wake up and finish this and take it to school at 9 AM.
My next door neighbor owned two old (Age 12 & age 10, both in human years.) dogs. I came over to feed them occasionally when they were out of town. They were really nice, and I liked them a lot.
Today, they found out that the older one is dying of cancer. It was untreatable, and she would die in a few days. In the meanwhile, she would be in serious pain. They decided to put her to sleep.
It's been dead for 15 minutes now.
Update: The living one has started making noise whenever she hears something, which is something she's never done before. It sounds really sad, almost as though she's expecting the other one to come home.
