    Proto Energy, Boost!

    Well it took 2 years, but Kex informed me that I received a proto boost at last! First time ever!
     
    And for the record, I did not get a proto boost when I became premier, because I was given the premier membership rather than pay for it. It is so nice to peek at that little bar now and see it just above half way full!

    Just a reminder, when the final voting of BBC 52 ends, TSC begins. The theme will be very challenging, rest assured of that. Prizes may include either a blue Matatu or trans light blue Kaukau. There will be a long entry period, probably more than 30 days, just to ensure that I will get a minimum of 20 entries.
     
    What will the theme be? No answers just yet, it will be revealed when the official contest entry is made.

    Sanity Maintenance!

    My back hurts, my neck hurts, my bottom hurts. At this rate, I figure all should be done by July sometime, I have not even touched all the pins, rods and axles yet.

    Of Birthday's

    Today is Washington's Birthday, today is also my birthday. Yikes, Im getting old! 27 is a big number, Ill be looking for the gray in my hair soon. Ill have another entry later on with the birthday gift haul, I expect some Phantoka and perhaps some Jungle Exo Force sets.
     
    I may be old, but I do not act or look it barring being a father and holding a full time job. I feel plenty young still, I credit Bionicle, staying fit and video games for that!

    Ladies, I Need Your Help!

    Okay so, my girlfriend is the most difficult person to shop for. The only thing she really likes is perfume, books and candy. I need some good suggestions for these items. I could just give her cash, but where is the surprise in that? Jewelery is a no go, the last ring I got her cost me a small fortune and she never even wears it.
     
    Please help, I am terrible at this sort of thing, I have no sense of good perfume or books either. Candy I think I can handle, but I am still open for suggestions.

    The Choices....

    Okay I got a big decision to make today. Im going to TRU, they have confirmed they have the new summer sets, I am on a budget of about 70 bucks so I narrowed it down to this.
     
    ~Purchase Jetrax T6 and 2 Mistika
    ~Purchase Takanuva and Rockoh T3
    ~Purchase Takanuva and 3 Mistika
    ~Purchase 2 Takanuva
     
    So its either Takanuva or Jetrax for sure, I am leaning toward Taka/Rockoh as I need the Rockoh parts. However 2 Takanuva sets is also tempting. Please help! I leave soon and I need some advice, these will be my first summer sets of the year. Expect pics of course when I get them.

    Next Project

    So I have narrowed it down, but cant decide which of these Tarakava related projects to go forward with. Then I just figured I would blog it and see what you guys wanted to see the most.
     
    ~ Recreate(as closely as possible) the Sand Tarakava.
     
    ~ Build 2 fully articulated Toa/Rahi using teal/blue color schemes and Tarakava parts.
     
    ~ Build one fully articulated teal or blue titan using Tarakava parts.
     
    Vote now for what you would like to see done. After a few votes I will begin the project.

    These things are allready happening. Soon there may be a cure for paraplegics also. It is a little thing called Stem Cells, possibly the future of not only medicine, but science as well! In Europe, it is allready happening, with people having grown back lost teeth!

    Rc Hovercraft Project!

    Allright, what started as a crazy, outlandish idea has started to take shape! This is still very early in the WiP stages, still throwing around some ideas. In the end expect a lush desert landscape around the track. So far it is working as I planned! This is a very expensive and ambitious project and I hope to complete it someday, this is no doubt going to take alot of trial and error.
     
    What I would really like to do is have 2 of these tracks, so the hovercrafts can race one another! That would call for a ton of extra cash though, maybe, just maybe...

    Checking each magnet to ensure the polarity is correct, and weight are my main concerns. The craft itself might not have many details. Any ideas/help would be great so feel free!

    The latest shipment came in. A 6 hole chin Kraahkan (from the original Makuta set), 8 blue destroyer droid feet, and a couple TNGMs. Also, a throwbot container and a random aquaraiders set baggie!

    Wow, Im gonna get a popsicle now, a whole box of them. My gum is now a puddle of goo on the sidewalk it is so hot. Anyone else in the midst of a heatwave?

    5909 Treasure Raiders with Mummy Container

     
    Description: Released in 1998 at a retail price of 30 bucks, sells MISB today for about 130 bucks and has become a collectors item. Containing 172 parts, 5 minifigs and the storage container, this was part of the lego adventures desert theme. This set is identical to 2879, Desert Expedition, but this is the special edition with the storage container.
     
    My Take: First of all, I want the storage container, it alone is worth about 30 bucks and looks cool. The set itself is straight forward, there are a couple vehicles and a tomb to be explored. The palm tree parts are always good to have on hand and it comes with one of those scorpion things. Until next week!

    Cant wait for all this stuff to come in! A lot of large figure stuff, like knights kingdom and technic vader parts, plus all those translucent beauties! What a steal on these!
