    You Don't Know Me

    Let me break it down for those who don't have a clue (and they know who they are).
     
    I know a lot of members hate me. It is true. In actuality, I am one of the top hated staff, and members leave because of me.
     
    Why? Probably because I do my job here and they don't like that. They don't like me enforcing the rules that I feel shouldn't be bent or broken.
     
    Or maybe they assume I use this position to make myself bigger over others. I don't. I don't need a position or rank to make myself better than the other person.
     
    Or maybe they think I abuse my power. I don't. I would have been demoted and banned if I was.
     
    For those that hate me, let me tell you one thing. You cannot judge a book by its cover. You don't even know me. So why judge and hate me? I could always return the favor and do a better job at it which can probably ruin your reputation, but I don't do that since I don't sink to that level unlike most members here.
     
    I am a regular guy. I go to college. I used to be a radio disc jockey. I like to travel. I have a wonderful girlfriend who I love a lot. I have no enemies here or off BZP. I keep myself in the median. I am a likable guy.
     
    So to question those who have serious issues with me: why do you not like me? If you do not like me, then why not say it to me? I prefer being told then having you go around say it to everyone and make up rumors and stuff.
     
    And by the way, I am awesome.

    Throughout the years, BZP has recieved a large number of pests and attacks from spammers. I'm talking about the kinds that make topics about stomach messages and that sort.
     
    These members join for a day only to attack and spam on BZP. And that is only their purpose.
     
    And yet we have long time members, some OBZPC, who give praise to these members and say things like:
     
    "Your legend shall live on forever"
    "You are famous!!"
    "You are officially the best known member on BZPower"
     
    Banned spammers do not deserve such praise. Would you praise terrorists for the things they do? Would you miss them when they are gone? I sure wouldn't, and I'm sure you wouldn't either. You wanna go praise spam and such while pretending to be mr. goody goody, do so somewhere else that appreciates it.
     
    And to end this, the secret stomach message that everyone loves so much is no longer part of BZP, since I personally pruned it myself.

    Tricky Cops

    So I was heading on my way home late tonight as usual, like around midnight. Travelling on the Mass Pike as usual. I enjoy going home at this time cuz usually the Pike is literally empty. So this would mean I can go a bit faster than regularly. So yes, as one would put it, I was speeding. So I am going roughly 85-90 mph on the Pike. Cars were behind me, however there was one that was behind me, and kept speeding up to me and kept getting closer. I first thought this guy was riding me, so I sped faster. This didn't suit the guy, so he was going faster and closer. He was literally so close, that I could no longer see his headlights. That is way too -close- when travelling in cars. So as I get irked by this, suddenly the car starts to flash its red and blue lights, meaning this was a cop the whole time. So now I am like "Ohhhhhhhhh !@#$%&", since I was caught speeding. So as I start to merge over to the right (I was on the left), the car just drives by me and turns off his lights.
     
    So lets go over some points. I was going 90 mph. The cop was going 90 mph as well. He was also tailgating me really close. If I stopped quickly, he would have had hit me at that speed. He knows I am speeding, and turns on his lights, which then led me to move over. Then he passes me and keeps driving. Does any of this make sense? Cuz I was expecting to get my first ticket here. Another thing that doesn't make sense is that recently the Mass Pike Authority ordered state troopers patrolling the Pike to pull over more drivers and issue more tickets, since it was shown that cops have been lenient. This guy didn't pull me over, which also irks me. He wasn't doing his job, and was also abusing his authority by speeding as well.
     
    Anyways that was my night. My weekend was kinda bad as well.

    I am gonna take a break from BZP. Apparently doing my job correctly isn't approved by many, so I am just gonna stop doing my job and do something else for a change.

    I been a member of BZPower since 2003, and a member of the staff since 2004. During my membership, I have seen a large amount of complaints concerning the rules.
     
    People say the rules are unfair, and that we are the strictest site on the web, or that not being able to discuss something that you have faith in offends you.
     
    Rules are here for a reason. They are set to keep things from getting out of hand. Remember, this is an international website, which is full of many different minded people who don't all share the same beliefs. Thus the rules are here to accommodate everyone as a whole. As the saying goes for New England "If you don't like the weather, then get out". basically if you feel the rules don't suit you, then you can leave freely. BZP doesn't force you to stay nor leave.
     
    But if you love this site but still don't agree with it, then learn to tolerate and deal with it. Yeah I don't agree with some staff and some rules, but hey I deal with it. I even enforced rules I didn't approve of.
     
    Then we have members who know the rules, and break them with full knowledge that they did. And then they pass it off as "I see no problem with it". Well here is the thing. You don't have the authority to make that kind of decision. The staff do. Just because you see no problem with it, does not mean it is allowed.
     
    The rules are not going to change just to benefit you. They never have, and probably never will. So if you going to suggest a rule change or complain, don't waste your breath.
     
    So please, as a final request from me, please read the Reference Desk and BZP Compendium, and don't disregard any of the rules set in place. If I can do it, then so can you.

    I have the right to live my life the way I choose it. I never bring it publicly to BZP. You guys have no right to barge into it and get on my case for small things that I do legally (the speeding thing isn't the issue with this).
     
    If you see images or hear stories of me doing stuff, just let it go and leave me be. Let me be human.

    You are in your dorm, typing up a really long paper due the next day. You are hungry, and it is midnight-ish. You have no food, and places are closed?
     
    Well you can go about this two ways: order Dominos OR chinese food.
     
    To the Chinese, it is simply food. Everywhere else, it is everything we could ever want with a side of rice. And so much variety.
     
    So discuss the awesomeness of chinese food.

    Clone Wars

    So I saw The Clone Wars today, and I am just gonna be frank here.
     
    The movie sucked.
     
    I would have rather watched Meet the Spartans, and that movie sucked so badly I walked out on it. But when compared to Clone Wars, well, Meet the Spartans is way better.
     
    So yeah, Stars Wars is now officially going down a sucky path, if it hasn't already.

    So for about a week and a half, I been hitting the nightlife scene due to recent events and stuff. Been hanging with friends mostly, but been doing it alone as well. During my escapades I have attracted the attention of a girl named Candice, who is nice, very pretty, and is developing a thing for me. However she isn't the only girl on my mind, because there is another girl named Emily, who is beautiful and such a dork, and I have this odd crush on her.
     
    So what is an Omi to do?

    What Is Humor?

    Because some members don't know what exactly humor is, I shall give a good definition of humor.
     
    Humor is a harmless entity that makes you laugh and/or entertains you. And by harmless, I mean it does not offend everyone.
     
    If you make a joke, and it offends people, it isn't humorous at all. Even if you, the person who makes the joke, believes it to be humorous, the joke as a whole is never humorous.
     
    Accusing someone of being a Nazi, while knowing it will offend that person, the group he belongs to, and als Germans and the Jewish, is never humorous. By doing so, you place yourself below the rank of a Nazi, which then makes yourself even worse than a Nazi. And to the person who compared me to a Nazi. Well with what I just said, you are worse than a Nazi.
     
    Also since the joke was supported with images. Well the way I see it, if you sport the look, you support the view. So by having an avatar of Hitler, you automatically place yourself on the side with Hitler and support all Nazi views.

    Next Tattoo

    So I currently have 3 tattoos (One, Two, Three, and I already plan on getting the 4th one soon.
     
    All my tattoos have one thing in common, they are all canine based (Wolf howling at moon, Cloudy Wolf, and the FOX logo), and since I rather stick with the wolf theme (and mainly tribal), I have picked the best design for my 4th tattoo.
     

     
    What better design than the Lego Wolfpack logo? It is wolf related -and- shows my love for Lego (just like Cloudy Wolf shows my love for Final Fantasy).
     
    So yeah. This may go on my right arm.

    Ok so you all know I currently do not have a job anymore, and you wanna know why.
     
    Here is the scenario. Every Monday, the freezer is backed up with freight and tossled over and the backroom is always a mess. And every Monday morning I have to spend a few hours cleaning up the backroom and sorting the freight so that myself and others can walk around in it (basically, there is always freight at the very front of the door, and lots of space in the back, so I have to push it back).
     
    Now here is the thing, I know that, and a few other day shift associates, have the courtesy of cleaning up the freezer and backroom to make it presentable. Which means third shift doesn't do any of that (we don't have a second shift for frozen, so process of elimination). And because of my leadership sense, I know exactly who does what in the freezer and the backroom.
     
    So anyways, Monday is bad because of the weekend. Which baffles me a lot, because the shifts for frozen during the weekend have the same out of people that are during the week, and we get the freezer empty by the middle of the week. So because of people not pulling their own weight, I got sick of it. I am usually the one who has to clean up everything and push things around (which takes time out of what I am really supposed to be doing).
     
    This is problem #1 for me.
     
    Now problem #2, managment is getting into the habit of pulling people out of their departments to focus on one single department or area (Last week I was pulling freight for Pets and another day I was in Apparel all day along with everyone else). While it is good to get things quicker with everyone, this is actually a bad thing for the store. You can't just pull everyone out and have them focus on one area because things won't get done everywhere else. Freight will always be backed up. They already have plenty of people on the General Merchandise side already. No need to pull the Grocery department over as well. If you need the extra hand, this is what Sales Associates are for, and my store manager stressed this fact (he wasn't the one who pulled us out, so you can bet he isn't happy with that decision made by the other managers).
     
    And since I can't get things done in my area, of course it will be left undone all day. And who gets chewed out for not doing it? Me. Of course I didn't do it because I wasn't even in my area the whole day.
     
    So with this added up, you know I am not happy. So Monday, I quit my job. Was very calm about it. Pulled one of the asst. managers aside, spoke to her about the situation and how I don't wanna deal with it. Handed her my badge and boxcutter, and filled out the green sheet, and walked out.
     
    And I know right now most of you guys are saying I shouldn't have done that, but hey we are all human and make choices like that.
     
    So I took the week to do some thinking. Got the usual lectures from my parents. And after thinking, I realized I should just suck it up.
     
    So I went bak today to speak with the manager who was on. She didn't even know I quit, but I explained everything she totally understood and such. I told her I am interested in returning if they allow it. She will get in touch with the store manager first thing on Monday and he will give me a call to talk to me. So chances are I will get my job back.

    I am talking about Basic Cable junk.
     
    USA channel is nothing but CSI and Law and Order and House. IT ALL SUCKS. Nothing is different on that channel 24/7.
     
    Comedy Central keeps playing the same darn stand-up guys over and over. The guy with the puppets SUCK. Blue Collar SUCKS. Though the channel makes up with South Park, but I gotta wait until 10ish PM to watch it.
     
    Cartoon Network sucks. Adult Swim sucks. I like Family Guy and Robot Chicken.
     
    Nick needs to change a bit too. I love Spongebob, but honestly it is on all day. VARIETY PLEASE.
     
    MTV. Not much to say here. It sucks for no longer living to its name. Same for VH1.
     
    The only channel I really watch is FX and TBS. They never disappoint. And that should say something.
