So, I'm officially starting my new color for a while. I still have to memorize the code, but I have it saved in various places, so I'll learn it fast.

In the meantime, however, Turakii gave me a great idea. And so, today is the start of a new and interesting blog thing.

This is the first installment of Ask ♥TAKi♥! Basically I'm starting an advice column that I'll update weekly. Anyone and everyone is invited to ask for help or for my thoughts on certain things in their lives or just in general. Of course, many people may not want other members to know who it is that's asking the questions. So here are the rules for submitting content and how Ask ♥TAKi♥ will work.

    1) PM me your questions. Title the message Ask TAKi, or something close to that.

    2) I'll take all questions and post a reply in a weekly blog entry. Then, that week's questions will be put into the Ask ♥TAKi♥ content block that will be created.

    3) All questions will be quoted as from Anonymous, unless you state you want your name mentioned. Or if you want a cool name, like Confuzzled Man. Lol. Let me know.

    4) Questions must be proper for BZPower. If they aren't, then I won't answer them. If they're way too obscene or explicit for BZP, I might have to report you, and I don't wanna have to do that.

    5) I do answer MOST questions. If I don't have the answers or help you're looking for, I'm sorry. But one of my best subjects is relationship help. My friends tell me that I should really be a romance counselor when I grow up.

Okay, you guys got it? The first questions will be posted on Saturday or Friday, not sure. Depends if I get a lot.

    Send 'em in!

So I woke this morning at 6:15, as usual, and run down to look outside.

    No snow.

So I go to look at the TV stations to see if my school will be closed.

    I don't see it.

So I go check the website that tells if my school is closed.

    School's closed.

At this point, I run around my house screaming that my mom can go back to bed.

    Ironic, no?

But there's still no snow. I mean, it snowed an inch last night, but there was nothing on the ground. I was so confused.

So I go back to sleep, and I'm dozing on and off for a bit, but then I finally fell back into slumber.

Now, my sister, her name's Kitty, she's sick, so she actually drove home and started throwing up in the toilet, which woke me up. Lol.

So it's 8:40, and I sit up, and look out the window (which is right next to my bed).

I CANNOT SEE FIVE YARDS PAST MY HOUSE!

Snow is falling so hard and so fast, I literally am snow bound right now.

    I'm so happy! Lol.

So I'll be around all day today, drop me a message.

Oh, also, Turakii suggested a new idea for my blog. It'll be made an entry later. B)

Edit: Also, how's this color? I'm thinking of switching to it for at least a few weeks. I've decided that every so often, I'll just completely change colors for a little while. Like I did during Christmas.

So last night I stayed up till 3 in the morning. Not a bright idea on a school day. Lol.

So I discovered that a friend from school is a member on BZP. That was a cool revelation.

And speaking of school, tomorrow might be a snow day. We're expecting 10-16 in. of snow by me tonight!

Any ideas how I could make this blog more desirable to read? Lol.

Well, I've been thinking over it quite a bit, and I think it's time to change things up from my pink color scheme to maybe like a deep sky blue.

Any objections? I understand that there are some people who have come to know me solely by the pink posts. Lol.

So I was at youth group last night, and there's this table on the back. It has a wooden frame and glass in the middle. I've jumped on this thing, slammed this thing, picked it up and thrown it down; nothing's ever happened.

Anyway, so my friends wanted to have a staring contest, so I moved out of the way and just placed my hand on the middle of the table for support, and...

    IT SHATTERED!

Yeah, and I fell through. I got a bit of glass in me. But I'm okay now. Lol.

You can congratulate me on my accomplishment if you wish.

Finals have been bogging me down so much this past week. I had one on Wednesday, one tomorrow, and then I have one on Monday and one next Tuesday. It's so hard.

In other news, a few good shows are back on soon. I know Chuck was on tonight, and Supernatural and Smallville will be on next Thursday. That makes me so happy. Lol. I've missed TV.

But, my sister's yelling at my parents right now, so I'll talk to y'all later.

So I walk into church, expecting everyone to be upstairs and sitting down, but I open the door and everyone's down by the door. The room is dark, but the windows let enough light in. The power went out two seconds before we walked in. It was hilarious. And my friend and I usually record the message our pastor gives, but because there was no power, we just sat down. Then, as the message starts, the power goes back on! So my friend dashed to the computer and set it up. Tee hee. Silly power outages in the -30 degree weather.

Well, it's been an interesting week. But something incredible happened.

    I finally got it.

Since almost a year ago (Feb. 14th, to be exact) I've been depressed, lonely, and unhappy with myself. But last night, things went back. Everything clicked. I got it. I understood it. And now, I'm finally happy, finally content. And I understand it all. I get it, and I'm so happy, so unbelievably happy and cheerful. And I haven't felt this way in a year. I love this so much. I missed it so much.

    Remember this?

He was walking her home, to room 103. He needed to be with her so that she could fall asleep. Just for a while, they were 18, and she was still more beautiful to him than anything. He was walking her home.

Exactly one month ago today, my sister, one of my best friends and favorite people in my life, came back in from college in Arizona. I live in Illinois, really far away from Arizona. I was so happy to see her.

Today, I stood outside as tears streaked down my face, paving a road for more to follow. My sister left to go back to Arizona.

I won't see her for six months.

She's my best friend, I trust her with anything. Sure, we fight. But we're only four years apart, and now that we're both older, we've become closer. And I miss her.

    I wish she would stay.

So, just my plan for tomorrow. I'll be going to the Museum of Science and Industry at 9 A.M. (it's an hour drive) to meet up with my favorite little cousins, and two aunts and two uncles. My dad, my two sisters, and I are going. Then, coming home at 3 P.M. (so I'll be home by 4 P.M.) and then get ready for the dance tomorrow. Lol. I'm sorta looking forward to it. Not a ton, but it'll be fun, I know that much.

I've been offline lately because of homework till 10 every night. It's been so obnoxious. I can't describe how annoying the first week back from break is. Lol. But it was spirit week, so it was fun.

    Ttfn. Ta ta for now.

It's just about time for me to hit the sack and register about six solid hours of sleep (still operating on winter break time ). So, I thought I'd give you a song.

So long, farewell, until we meet again!
I think, you'll like, the small killer pen!
It'll eat you in your sleep and then you'll wake up and you'll be terrified and scream, "♥TAKi♥!" And then you'll run over to my house and start beating me up with a bendy straw!

    O_O

    Yeah, I'm confused too...

Lol. Best and funniest answer to that question gets an award. I'm so tired. I started back at school today with Andi my stuffed animal bear (yes I do actually carry a stuffed bear from class to class) It's spirit week. Today was homecoming re-run day (from two years ago). So our whole school was filled with country-folk. Lol. Tomorrow's hunting day. I don't know whether I should wear my camo pants or be a ninja (they hunt people...). I'm hoping to make a big hit. But I'm really looking forward to Friday, Spirit Day. I get to spray my hair blue and spazz out at school. And then the day after that is the Sock Hop dance. I'm looking forward to that. I discovered that the girl I like, well, she likes me back, but she's not allowed to date. So we're just going with a couple of our friends. It'll be fun. Lol. Thad (our vice-principal) is gonna teach us how to dance to the music. It'll be...interesting. We're all way excited. Apparently about 300 of the 500 high school kids are going (that's a lot for a school event). Usually we get very few, but it's only our school's third dance ever, so I think people are very excited.

Hiyah! It's ♥TAKi♥ here with the weather report. Outside right now, It's nice and warm at about 60 degrees. Most snow has melted from the ground, and people are walking around in shorts.

    Wait a minute....

No, this isn't another one of those majorly off weather reports. It's actually that warm over here. We had two feet of snow, and it just melted all yesterday. It's so beautiful. After church, my friend Steve and my friend Val (two of the six kids my age at my church) were just walking up and down the street in the hot weather. It's so beautiful.

So there's today and tomorrow, and then I'm back at school for a month. In that period I have one day off for mid-semester break. Then it's back on till Easter Break. But in other news, next week for my school is spirit week, and then a dance that Saturday (a Sock Hop). Looking forward to it. I've been going through a lot of relationship stuff lately, and right now I'm actually on kinda solid ground, so I'm not asking anyone to the dance (though I'll cringe when I see couples). I'm gonna go with my friends, so hopefully I'll have more fun that I anticipate.

It's supposed to be like 50 degrees outside this weekend. After the buildup of two feet of snow, I'd like to see this.

Tell me the song that the name of this entry comes from and I'll give you an award. Anyway, so last night my friend spent the night. We played Xbox 360 and stuff. Went to bed about 6, and woke up about 12. Then he left about 6 in the evening. And then I went and fixed my computer cause I missed the internet. Lol. Tomorrow my friend is coming over. Just finishing up the last of break with a bang. Anybody have any cool break stories?

Could it? Yes, it could, and it is! I'm back! Check it, just in time for the new year. Happy 2008, everybody! Lol. Lots has happened since I last was able to post in here, and I missed it dearly. But first off, I have to thank from the bottom of my heart my brother Arch-Angel, who paid for my premier membership as a Christmas gift. He truly is a rare find as a friend, and he is one of the most amazing guys I know.

So, pretty much, let me just update you on my life. I'm single right now, but my girlfriend broke up with me the Thursday before Christmas break, so all day Friday I was majorly depressed. I'm doing better now, but I'm still lonely. At school, the week I go back we have spirit week, and then a sock hop dance. :-P However, I finally got my Xbox 360 for Christmas, along with the Rock Band Special Edition pack with drums, a guitar, and a mic. I'm so excited. However, my sister dripped water into my computer and broke it, so I have to figure out which parts were damaged so that I can have her give me the money to replace them. I'm on my friend's computer for now. :-P

I've missed you all. I'm so excited to be back.

So a lot of stuff has been happening this week, and I thought I might just recap everything for y'all.

Monday: Monday was the day that nothing very special happened, but I did manage to make two new friends at school who are so awesome. They're these two 8th grade girls, and I'm pretty much their dog (my hair is fluffy like a dog's). This day also was the day that now everyone pats me on the head as I walk through the halls.

Tuesday: Tuesday was again, not super exciting. But it was the second day of the week. The only interesting thing that happened here was that everyone decided they wanted to sign the dry erase board I keep in my locker.

Wednesday: Okay, so here's where the fun stuff begins. Halloween was on Wednesday, but I didn't do anything. I was going to go to a party at my church, but my best friend, and girl friend, Miranda called, and I wanted to talk to her.

Thursday: On Thursday things were quiet, but we discovered that the reason we've had virtually no homework, tests, or quizes this past week was because they're all taking place within the first three days of next week (one of them is even a mid-term). So it's pretty crazy. But my dad did leave to go to Brazil, so that made me happy.

Friday: Ah, beloved Friday; Friday was the favorite day of my week. The day in of itself was pretty cool, but I found out one of my new friends I made is my school next week because she's moving. But after school, my friend Joey came out. And for those of you who have read all my Guitar Hero 3 related entries, you'd know that he's the holder and possessor of my Guitar Hero 3 game until I got my Xbox 360 at Christmas. So pretty much he came over, and I continued playing my career on the game. Then I got bored and decided to do something fun: battle people online. The first two times I did Co-Op with people online for some reason, but then I figured out how to battle. I was on hard, and the guy I was battling was on expert (okay, this isn't the fighting battle mode, it's the batle mode where you just try to get a higher score than your opponent on Pro-Face Off). He was beating me up until the very last verse of My Name Is Jonas, where I activated a full Star Power meter and rocked all the way home: a win for ♥TAKi♥!

So yeah, that's my week. I hope y'all enjoyed reading about it. My hands hurt from typing for some reason. Probably because I don't like the keyboard on my dad's laptop, where I happen to be residing while writing this.

NOTE: I won't have Premier Membership for at least a week, so I won't be updating my blog for a while, probably. Just PM me if you need anything.

Ah, the "sweetest" holiday in the year. I wish I partook of it. Sadly, I don't go trick-or-treating. I always go to a party with some friends. So hopefully I'll have a fun time tonight. But yeah, contest: Post a short (100 words) story, or a poem, about Bionicles doing Halloween stuff. Winner gets a special Halloween aproval image from me.

This should've happened long ago, but I finally beat Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s (my definition of beating a Guitar Hero game is passing every song on every difficulty level in Career Mode). Took me roughly three months since I got the game to do so, being that the last song is crazy hard (Play With Me-Extreme) and I didn't play for a long time. But Guitar Hero 3 changed that. As usual, I have a pact not to really play a new Guitar Hero game unless I've beaten the one before it, so now I can rightfully play Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock (as soon as my friend brings it back to me, of course. )

    -Taki
  20. Tak-E
So today, Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock, was released for the Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, and the PS3. I was lucky enough to get the Xbox 360 version. Luckily I reserved the game, because they sold out of all the non-reserved copies hour before we got there.

So first, a funny story: we almost died on the way to get GH3. "Why?" Easy: a car stopped in front of us for no reason, and we stopped within an inch of the car; almost crashing. So, anyway, onto the review.

    Box

So the box is amazing, attracting pretty much anybody to look at it. Great art, but the best is Slash (on character on the right).

    Case

The case for the game is like any other, but it's still cool and shiny to look at. Much better than previous Guitar Hero titles, I must say. It's more flashy.

    Guitar In Wrapping

So the guitar is wireless, coming in two parts. The neck of the guitar is detachable for easier transport.

    Neck

So the neck has the fret buttons, and that's pretty much it. It's really cool, though. If you wanna rock out without playing, just take the neck and randomly start pressing the frets.

    Base

The base has the Xbox buttons, a wireless hookup button, a place for the batteries, the start and select buttons, and a detachable face-plate (which you can buy other face-plates to put on in its place). It's really fun to hook the two up. Lol.

So the gameplay is pretty awesome. Not much different from it's ancestors, but the setup is different. The Star Power has changed to a different form, and so has the score meter. When playing, using the Whammy Bar isn't as obvious. Hitting Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs is much easier, due to an extra second of grace to hit the notes. The main menu and song selection is pretty cool; much different than anything before it. It's so much different than the other games.

I'm giving this game a 9.5/10, the only bad thing being the first few songs aren't that exciting.
