    Glatorian Once More

    WE HUNTED DOWN THE BUGGERS AT TARGET AND NOW THEY ARE OURS
     
    Well, not all of them because of Lego's amazingly retarded prices, but still.

    <3 Berix

    Want to <3 Skrall but didn't buy him so I didn't drain all my money

    Because it needed to be done.
     
    WHAT YOU NEED
     
    - At least one Glatorian for each player *duh*
     
    - A ruler
     
    - One die for each Glatorian.
     
    - A basic paint set
     
    - A table or counter of decent size- any place where you will be unlikely to lose the thornax ammo.
     
    - Each Glatorian is either a Heavy Glatorian or a Swift Glatorian. Vorox, Gresh and Terix are Swift Glatorian. Malum, Skrall and Strakk are Heavy Glatorian.
     
     
    THE GAME ITSELF
     
    -Set up your Glatorian/Glatorians across from eachother at either long end of the table.
     
    -Place any terrain or obstacles on the "arena field" before the battle.
     
    -Roll a die to see who goes first.
     
    -Each turn, you have 12 action points to spend. When you use them all up, your turn is over.
     
    -Last man *or team* standing wins!
     
     
     
    ~ Movement
     
    -Running-
    Roll a die for your Glatorian. Whatever number you get, you can run that far at the cost for that many points * you get a three on the die, you can move 3 inches for the cost of 3 points, for example* . Remember, you can keep rolling if you chose to- your turn is only over once you've spent all 12 action points.
     
    -Leaping-
    Roll a die and multiply the number you get by two. Whatever that number is is how far you can leap in any direction you want for the same amount of points * You roll a 5. 5X2=10= leaping 10 inches for the price of ten points* . If you leap, you cannot fire your thornax launcher afterwards.
     
    ~ Melee
     
    -Charging-
    If you're within 6 inches, you can attack your opponent in melee. You get to attack first- then roll a die.
     
    1-3: No hit.
     
    4-5: Hit, take down one life point.
     
    6: Critical hit! Take down two life points.
     
    Your opponent gets to roll a die to counter-attack after your initial attack. Or he can attempt to break your grapple.
     
    If you're a Heavy Glatorian, you are immune to critical hits and only lose one life point on a six instead of 2.
     
    -Grapple breaker-
    After launching a counter attack against your assailant, you may roll to attempt to pull off a grapple breaker if you do not wish to remain in close combat. Roll a die. On a 3 and up, you can break free of combat and move 12 inches back from your opponent.
     
    If you're a Swift Glatorian, you can attempt to do a Grapple Breaker roll BEFORE your opponent attacks you.
     
     
     
    ~The thornax launcher
     
    - Using paint, paint a green dot on one side of the thornax, red on the other. Then paint a different colored dot on each "side" of the black band encompassing the thornax. One blue, one white, one orange and one purple.
     
    1. Fire your shot.
     
    2. If the thornax lands on the half with the green dot, the Glatorian takes no harm. If it lands on the red half, he takes a hit and loses a single life point. Note that that damage or effects can only take place IF the shot actually hits the opposing Glatorian!
     
    If it lands on a side with a color on the band, the attacked Glatorian blocks it and takes no damage, but at a price...
     
    Blue- The shot deflects and the attacked Glatorian gets a free shot back at his opponent.
     
    White- The glatorian's weapon gets knocked out of his hand as he parries the shot. Take his weapon off and place it 12 inches away from the Glatorian in any direction the attacker chooses. You have to be touching the weapon to get it back and use melee to attack/counter attack.
     
    Orange- The attacked Glatorian is stunned and unable to do anything next turn.
     
    Purple- The attacked glatorian stumbles backwards/is knocked off his feet and falls back. Push the glatorian back 12 inches.
     
     
    ~ The Agori
     
    All the rules apply to the Agori, but they only have 8 action points instead of 12 and have a life counter of 3.
     
    For each Agori within 2 inches of a Glatorian, that Glatorian may re-roll any unsuccesful melee attacks free of cost *but the original failed roll still costs* and may choose to let the Agori take any melee or Thornax damage at the price of them losing the life points instead.

    Well, I haven't been able to find the advanced rules on Bionicle.Com so I will retain this opinion on the game in the meantime.
     
    Wow, that's incredibley lame.
     
    I'ma gonna make up my own rules in the meantime to make it more playable.

    Concerning Monoliths.

    Should I just go ahead and build the new one, or should I deconstruct the old one and rebuild it using some of the new parts and instead have one Monolith with a lot of handy leftover bitz?
     
    I dunno, personally.
     
    Unlike going with a traditional black cube, I was figuring painting and weathering my Monolith in the way of a steel shipwreck. To the door and up, it's going to be covered in rusty green scum of sorts, as if it had been lying half submerged in a swamp for eons. The rest will be black and purple with golden, ebony-styled patterns flowing up it's arches.

    I swear, I'll be able to grind all you Space Marines into the dust once I get my Monolith up and running. That is, I have to either repair my current Monolith by buying an individual green bitz sprue pack or just buy a whole new one altogether.
     
    Soon I will have the key to awaken the true potential of my army.

    That or I'll switch to my Tau and have a fun time shooting your screaming tin cans at a lovely distance.

    Anyways, much win today. Manga club AND Warhammer night- which will be quite awesome since now I have a fresh platoon of Immortals *I will be posting an entry of how I painted them when I get the chance* and an additional two Pariahs bolstering my elite.
     
    So yeah, back to normal!

    Don't Attack Me.

    You can attack my opinions, you can attack my actions.
     
    But don't attack me.
     
    It was a harmless rant, people. It's my blog and I think I'm allowed to let off some steam at the end of the day within it's boundaries. After all, there is nobody else in this house or any friend I could call up that could listen to me ease an irritation about an online children's site without being laughed at. I just wanted to blow off a bit of anger that had built up over the course of a long time.
     
    And suddenly I'm finding somebody I don't even remotely know sticking my faults in my face with harsh words in front of everyone else to see.
     
    You guys think I don't know? You guys think that I'm some egomaniacal airhead who thinks that I'm some sort of God who thinks his words fall on the ears of the deaf? No, I'm not.
     
    A jealous God, maybe.
     
    Do you think I am blissfully unaware of myself?
     
    Of course not. In fact, I'm so self-concious that I can't stand it.
     
    This wouldn't have been such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that someone had to take it to a higher level and attack the very flawed traits that unfortunately make up my foundations as a person. You don't even know me.
     
    Being told that I'm being unreasonable is one thing.
     
    But having a personality mirror shoved in my face in front of others when I already know what the ugly thing looking back at me is just humiliating. I've looked into that mirror before and hated what I saw- please, don't make me have to see it again in front of others.
     
    Trust me, I wouldn't be making such a big deal of this right now if it hadn't seriously hurt my feelings.
     
    I know it's the internet and it shouldn't be taken seriously. But when the only people I get to talk to and community I get to be a part of on a daily basis are over the internet because of circumstances in real life, it can become serious. Serious enough that when someone just starts rattling off a list of faults about you -that you already do your best to try and avoid and work around them- out of the blue, it can really upset me.
     
    I know you might not have been trying to do harm, but guess what- you did.
     
    Trust me on the fact that I know you were right- but to do that so blunty in front of others is just unbearable for someone like me. If you have to do it so badly, do it over PM. Otherwise, just leave me alone.
     
    Thanks for anyone who bothered listening or tried to understand. I feel a tiny bit better now that I talked that off.

    You guys don't want me to leave, yet when I try to post stuff in my blog, I get like, snot's worth in feedback?
     
    This is silly, this little clunky machine that is Bzp's social system.

    It's pathetic. Just pathetic.
     
    What do I have to do, claim to be a girl of pretty age and proper behaivor to get any sort of recognition in my blog? All I ever get are a few petty comments that consist of maybe a sentence or two. How is it that people like Wrack or Exo can post completely idiotic horse ###### and still get a wealth of replies and attention while I'm over here in my corner, posting the occasional entry that usually shows insight into my life or my works.
     
    Yes, I know I am going over the top here- but it's a rant about an issue that I find works for all Bzp.
     
    What is it that I have or lack that makes it so nobody around here even does much in the way of talk to me?
     
    I don't want stardom, I don't want to be a Bzp Idol. I just want the occasional PM or profile comment telling me "hello" or asking me "what's up?" and some encouraging feedback.
     
    THis might not be such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that Bzp plays a fair role in my social because I homeschool and all my real friends are a pain in the ###### to get a hold of.
     
    Again, I know I'm being somewhat illogical here. People love my art when I feel compelled to post samples and my Transformer RPGs have always been popular- but I just want some recognition, for God's sake.
     
     
    Fun fact: It's the sort of ###### above that I just threw at you that is the REAL reason why I wanted to leave Bzp- because I just feel like it's a BIG waste of my time.
     
    I'm going to post a collaberation of my drawings tommorow and I hope to get some sort of general response from the crowd. If I don't, well then that's just sad that all of you are happy living off the gunk some of these people churn out daily.

    These guys are so awesome, but also so.... Simmiliar in comparison to their jumpy XV-28 brethren. So, I already wanted to give my twin Broadsides the savory flavor and theme of a city fight, but I want and need to go beyond the call of duty when it comes to basing.
     
    So now it's only a question of converting this

    I'm gonna build from the bottom up and see where it takes me! Although the lack of useful Tau bits might be a little hindering... I mean, I still plan to keep it simple enough that you can tell it's a Broadside and that it still follows the same rules, but to give it a more personalized feel.

    Well, I've virtually been dead over the course of Christmas break, so I'll just go over things briefly.
     
    It's actually been a fairly busy break for me, between Christmas, the birthdays, the parties, the friends coming over, the volunteer days down at DoK and ironing out wrinkles in my relationship between Romina and myself- I haven't had anytime to wind down to goof off on Bzp or make use of all the stuff I got for Christmas 8s
     
    I mean, I know this activity isn't to last, but in the meantime this would be why I've been essentially a ghost around here.
     
    Once I do have the time to myself, though, I plan to:
     
    - Go on an art spree, reigniting my rusted drawing talents.
     
    - Get TFDE on the road.
     
    - Energize my developing Tau army with my new 2 Broadside Battlesuits and the addition of another Devilfish.
     
    - Load up my new Ipod Nano with a ton's worth of music
     
    - Kick myself back into weightlifting even BEFORE my break ends just to gain a headstart before I enter the meat grinder again.
     
    - Hopefully get back into Bzp without devoting too much of my money to Bionicle.
     
    - Sleep in. Sleep a whole lot in.
     
     
    So yeah, now you're all up to date and hopefully I'll be getting back into the rythm of things around here!

    Of Ka-chan And Bzps

    Well guys, I dunno what to say. It's been a mix of change of heart and the lack of anything really enjoyable to be found around here that has brought me to a state of mind like this.
     
    My interest in Bionicle has almost entirely died off, honestly. It's not that I don't like it, but genuinely, I really just don't feel the need to actively pursue it as an interest anymore. Sure, I'll want to pick up a few of the new 09 sets, but that's where I hit the end. I just have my hobbies, I'm losing active interest in toys in general and I need to start prioritizing what I do with my money. I can't keep track of the story any more and I also don't feel the need to with the end of the original story ark.
     
    And second of all, even the things that I once enjoyed so much about Bzp have deteriorated. Most of my friends that I got on here to talk with now talk to me over Yahoo Messenger, I find I no longer feel compelled to go to the trouble of posting on here since I get so little feedback. Not to mention I just generally feel uneeded and unnappreciated around here.
     
    I'll stay around to run my new RPG, but ultimately I think I might be saying goodbye soon.
