    Heyyyyyyy alllll....

It's been a while since I've used this. Or made a post for that matter. Yes, I have been busy with real life -- lot's of things going on my junior year. But hopefully it'll bog down some so I can get in a little time each week on BZP. No promises though...

I visited BZP a few times while I was gone, and I'm caught up on BStory.com and everything, but I still feel like I'm out of the loop with the story (especially with the books... darn it I need to be in a bigger city ). So anyone care to fill me on what has happened since I think... Bionicle Legends#7 (second book for 2007, right? )

Ok, so normally I wouldn't care about "My Friends", but when I tried to PM mumu, I realized that your friends list is your contact list! Thusly, my old contact list is no longer around, and so... now everyone gets to see my contacts

So folks I've added: I'd like your approval for fast PM access

Folks I haven't: Doesn't mean I'm not your friend, just that my contact list so far is basically BS01 staffers and the RK's

    ~U

EDITSIES: Aha! I can choose to hide my friends list Now it just becomes my private contact list and nothing more .

EDITSIES2: Ok, so maybe you can only hide that side bar, but not the main tab on your profile page. Drat . Ah well. Still folks -- don't feel bad if I haven't added you (like Kex would totally be on there, but then I would to add another guy, and then another guy, and so forth, and I'm too apathetic to do all of that ) -- I simply don't have a need to PM you much

Wow, I haven't made an entry on here in a while. Well, I've actually had a lot to do -- unfortunately this doesn't include this blog

The BS01 Wiki has been doing fine, but there's still much to expand on. In its present condition, it's still top-notch, but there are things I wish to discuss that no one is willing to talk about! I give the staff suggestions, and they seem to ignore it. I've seen this happen all too often with almost anything -- not cool.

RKism is doing fine. Not losing as much weight as I thought I would. I finished the program pretty quickly, and then started another one, only to finish that one faster. ()

Beyond that, I'm just sitting back, enjoying life. Spring break is nearing, so the homework is starting to dwindle down. I hope the mainsite goes up soon, but I hear from Swert that he wants to redo the mainsite and bring it up as a totally new site. I won't complain. That's one less duty I have to stress about.

Also, one last random thing. The S&T has been sort of boring for me lately. Usually if there are question topics that aren't speculating question topics, I answer them. If there are good theories that are intriguing, I'll post. If there are some that are really loosely based, and mostly speculation, they don't really catch my fancy.

So far, my fancy hasn't been caught yet...

Anywhoo, ye old boring entry of ye old (but busy) life of Ut.

It's a terribly odd feeling. I'm bored, yet I want to do something.

All this week, I've been on leave from BS01 so I can finish up an RK project. Now I believe I'm as finished as I can be (there's a bit more to be done, but I need my other fellow RK's to finish up their side of things for me to start that small thing), but I still feel this urge to finish and work.

It's like I'm 1st place in a race, but I still feel like running, and sometimes.. I still do run! I'm going anywhere, I'm not getting anything done, I'm just... going.

And at the same time, I'm bored. I want to finish up, but I believe I am finished, but I have the drive to finish up, so I just sit here, wondering what to "finish"... when in theory, I'm done for now

    Ever get the feeling?

As a wiki, we need your help! We went down when Bionicle Legends#4 was just coming out, so we have a lot of updates to make! From Makuta to the Pit, BS01 needs to get back up to speed.

Yea, neat little pep talk, isn't it?

So on AIM, I was talking with SPIRIT about a few things -- some I can't go into detail, others just random comments about everyday life and the like -- when suddenly Spi came to the horrifying realization that he's all alone

He's the only regularly active S&T Moderator . WaWa and ccso are (unfortunately) more of the passer-by types with the S&T. Mumu is currently on a trip and won't be back for over a week. Bones is drowned in work from college/university/whatever... Spi? Well...

    And then there was one

Many thoughts going through my head at this time. Mostly my BZP life flashing before my eyes (no, I'm not dying). I don't remember signing up exactly, but I remember that after I did I had to wait for a few weeks to be able to post and everything -- I think that as I was still waiting authorization, I was slightly turned down by it all, and went back over to the BS01 Wiki for a month or so. Then around March, I made my first post -- simple minded post; I could link to it now and I'd probably wonder what I was thinking about the time. But anyway, I made a few posts at the start -- mostly in the BS01 forums whenever wiki chaos ensued. Then around late May/early June, I started to get into the swing of things in posting -- moving on over to the S&T. It wasn't until July-ish, when BS01 went down (*sniff* ), that I really started to post like a mad-man (like the mad-man I am ). Things then just took their natural course I guess... Then in November, I became an OBZPC, but that didn't last long because in January of this year I was promoted to RKism. I also broke my small post rank of 2,000 posts in my first year.

Yea... I'd say this was a good year guys. It's fun to reminisce about the past -- see how I've grown and whatnot. And I must say -- I really have To go from the guy who didn't want to have anything to do with posting, to the guy who now happily posts and happily serves the staff as a Reference Keeper, it's been a grand year.

To another fine year on BZP! *Toasts*

You never realize just how many cold/sickness/coughing/flu/congestion/headache/fever medicine commercials are on TV until you've been sick for almost a full school week and you do nothing but sit there and watch TV.

Yeppers, I've been sick as a dog (funny saying really, no idea where it comes from). Anyways, that's also why I haven't been here on the net for a few days or so .

    I wonder who noticed

Ever wanted to get rid of those few extra posts? Did you try out other such diets, only to gain more posts? Well try the new diet of RKism! Guarenteed to make you loose weight fast! Buy your RKism today!

RKism is not right for everyone; see your Admin before applying. Side effects include bloating, bumping, spamming, inflating, et cetera. If you experiece any of these side effects, please consult your local Forums Assistant before continuing RKism.

After my entry down below, Nuk sorta made a joke out of the diet part. Well I got bored, so I decided to post it

Well my first few days of RKism sure have been fun By the way, RKism my short term for reference keeping, essentially.

Anyways, as you know, the biggest thing the RK's have to update is the Set DB, which was in dire need of an update. I actually went through all of the 06 sets and 07 sets (currently) and hopefully they are now up to date (Spi did the titans for 06, but I made a few additions).

Editing is actually quite easy -- very straight foward and direct. You almost can't go wrong with such direction

One really interesting thing is the revelation of my name. As many of you have witnessed, the RK edits are shown with the first name of the editor, and their last name's initial. I won't tell you what mine is, but I'll give ya a cookie for the first person who finds out Once you see it, you ought to know it's me.

So fun stuff... fun stuff. Spi's just floating around set entries now; I'll probably join him. However, right now I want to focus on discussing with all the other RK's on how to rejuvenate and re-plan the RK system. Many things are at a halt right now, aside from Set DB updating (and that's not because other RK's are told to, just because of no time to work on it). So I plan to take my ideas and put them to the test, and see how the other folks like them. Hopefully the old and the new RK's will all give input.

Speaking of which, to me it seems like Spi and I are singly-handedly updating the Set DB and such. Where are you other RK newbs?

(Eh, today's been a rather boring day among my other days. Really... most of the time BZP was under the weather; other times I go to some forums, see nothing particularly interesting, get up from my seat, find something else to do. My highlight of today was adding in European promos to the Set DB . Right now, many things are being considered, reconsidered, discussed, mercilessly slaughtered (in terms of talking ), etc. for the RK system. No, no details... Anyways, slightly nervous about that, although again, can't say why. Err... yea. Welcome to the first of Totally Random blog entries; I originally just wanted to post that pirate face, but I felt bad somehow. )

P.S. - Who remembers way back when, when I "defined" what a blog is. I just thought up of a totally random one. Blog: Why not? Have a crack at what that means

So I got a PM from Shine, telling me that someone else took my word of "EDITSIES" and used it whenever they edited their post. Well in reply to that PM, I remembered seeing at least two or three different members also using that term. Now, when I went into the news discussion.. I saw a 4th! (or 5th, depending...)

Man... now I wonder how many different members actually do use "EDITSIES". I mean I just created the term and always like saying it aloud... and apparently others do too

It's now the best thing since sliced bread!

Heh, didn't want to just go the boring route and state what post marker I had passed

Anyways, tonight, I made my 2,000th post! I was very happy with this one, as it was a Facts List Update post (not to mention a legal double post, talk about irony).

Now usually I don't care about posts, but when I came on today with 1,965 posts, and after making µµ's 10,000th post topic, I just felt the urge to reach 2,000 by tonight. And yes, I was able to do it. A long haul -- 35 posts, but I was able to do it. I set my mind to doing so, and reached it!

Also, this little adventure of mine has expanded my horizons! Sure I'm still an S&T guy mainly, but if I ever feel bored, I am now also a Bionicle Incarnations man (now I usually stick to this group of forums, but S&T more specifically).

So all in all, it was a good day. Top poster of the day, broke 2,000 (yes, not really that big for other folks, but heck, I didn't really care too much about post count, and didn't care about posts until mid-06), expanded my horizons to new forums.

So it's all good really. Here's a virtual toast to... you, the posters!

***Checketh out thy below entry if confusion hath taken over you***

The reason for this actually goes back to my very newb days. When I first signed in, actually...

Now realize how I was at the time. I'm the kind of person to click "remember me", and at the time, I was not the poster at all. In fact, I hadn't posted for a while even though I had the chance to. Combine these two things, and from that will come my reason...

Now first off, I noticed that there were things that notified that people were online, and people were offline. I, being the newb that I was, thought that being logged in meant being online. To log out would mean being offline. Later did I learn that if you don't do anything for 20 minutes you're considered offline, even if you're still logged in. Logging out always means/meant you're offline XD. Thus, I didn't want to appear online 24/7, so I clicked to sign in invisible.

Also, as I wasn't a poster, I didn't see a reason to specifically let people know I was online. I just wanted to creep along the shadows and use BZP as a reference for me. Little did I know that this is where I would end up...

So in part of a misconception, and in part to the fact that I signed up on BZP just to browse, not post... I logged in as invisible.

Also, realize that my computer is my computer. I didn't log out once until I did so after becoming an OBZPC, just so I could log back in to see the nice bold orange . Now, I log in and out several times, as I'm a Fact Team member... so I have to, to get into the FT account.

But it's just tradition for me now. I could log in as being seen by everyone... but I'm just a stick-to-this sort of guy in this case

    ~U

P.S. - No... I don't log in as invisible just so I can sneak up on unsuspecting topics that have theories I'll disprove/questions I'll answer/topics I'll just make posts in What gave you that idea?

P.S. And yes, that is the first emoticon I've used in a post since March 2004.

I made mumu post with a smilie! My favorite of them all, no less.

Many of you know of one of my famous trademarkish styles, which is to edit my posts with "EDITSIES". Most people use "EDIT" or "Edit", but I add "SIES" to the end of my "EDIT" (pronounced 'seas', like the water kind ).

Well where did I get EDITSIES from anyway? The answer can be found in the Lord of the Rings. Or at least the movies...

I must admit, I'm not a great fan of the books (didn't like the set up and everything), but the movie was brilliant and my family as a whole loves the movies. And if anyone can recall The Fellowship of the Ring, where the hobbits are getting ready for second breakfast, and Aragorn tells them that they already eat breakfast. Then Pippen comes in with "What about elevencies? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?"

The first one was my inspiration for EDITSIES. Although I use an 's' instead of a 'c' (found the line from somewhere online), I took the word 'elevencies' and created 'EDITSIES' from it. So now, I just use it...
