I am going on a weekend trip with my parents.

We'll be in Belgium, so, unless I accidentally run across Schizo there, consider me gone from BZP for a couple of days.

    Seeya!

Once upon a time you dressed so fine You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
    You used to laugh about
    Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't talk so loud
Now you don't seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.

    How does it feel
    How does it feel
    To be without a home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it
And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street
And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it
    You said you'd never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but now you realize
    He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And ask him do you want to make a deal?

    How does it feel
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all come down and did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal.

    How does it feel
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made
Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.

    How does it feel
    How does it feel
    To be on your own
    With no direction home
    Like a complete unknown
    Like a rolling stone?

How different people are. Not character-wise, but physically.

Some people I get coming out of surgery seem as if they'd just woken up on a fine sunday morning and then there are others who groan in pain.

Some can leave the wakeup room less then 10 minutes after they've arrived and then there are others staying for 4 hours or more until they are brought back to their rooms.

And some really take well to the procedures and are painfree, or we get some like the woman today that we had to load full with painkillers and even then it took an hour before her condition improved (And by loaded I mean really dosed. Any healthy normal person probably would have been knocked out by then.)

On another note, one of the anaesthesiologists showed me pictures of his first son today. It's quite amazing to see somebody become a parent.

Have you been annoyed today already, has it been a bad day? Did you ask yourself again why nobody's doing anything?
You don't need to accept what you dislike,
If you've got your head for more then wearing a hat
    Woohoo!

It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!
It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!!

Don't believe anybody who says you can't do anything,
Those who say that are just afraid of change
They are the same who says everything's fine the way it is
And if you want to change anything your practically a terrorist

It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!
It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!
Cause everybody who doesn't want to change the world
    Signs her deathsentence

"Let's sit down an talk, because in this here our land,
    Theoretically everybody is terribly tolerant,
Words don't want to move, Word's don't hurt anybody,
So let's talk about, discussions are ok."

No!-Get back out on the streets, get back to demonstrating,
Because those who've given in can only loose,
Those that that screw you over you elected yourself,
So let them hear your voice cause every voice counts!

It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!
It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It'd be your fault if it stays that way!

It's not your fault that world is the way it is,
It would be your fault if it stays that way...

Today, after 13 years of war, we, as one person, stand victorious.

Our continuous efforts, strategic thinking, endurance, persistance (and superior firepower) brought us this success.

We may have lost comrades and friends along the way and we honour the fallen with laughter and shouts of joy.

For today, we have beaten Al Gebra and all it's Biological, Chemical and Physical Warfare. We stood up to the religion and philosophy of our enemy, we mastered their Art and music and their language and assimilated it into our one mind, and in this final campaing over the last month, no matter how hard it was, we dominated the educational system, finished school and mocked those who still aren't done yet with it.

And I, as a veteran of this conflict, all I can say, all I can ask is: What comes before Part B?

    Part A(y)!

Schools out I survived my last final!

"Riders on the Storm" by The Doors

    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm
    Into this house were born
    Into this world were thrown
Like a dog without a bone
    An actor out on loan
    Riders on the storm

Theres a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin like a toad
    Take a long holiday
    Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
    Sweet memory will die
    Killer on the road, yeah

Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
    Take him by the hand
    Make him understand
    The world on you depends
    Our life will never end
    Gotta love your man, yeah

    Wow!

    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm
    Into this house were born
    Into this world were thrown
Like a dog without a bone
    An actor out alone
    Riders on the storm

    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm
    Riders on the storm

I fight a war I don't fully understand with a weapon that I do not truely master with the excitment of a mans innner child.

Ok, actually that's just me saying: Gosh that game is freaking awesome even though I never had a Playstation before and don't know the prequel and suck at playing with the controller!

I was in another lifetime one of toil and blood When blackness was a virtue and the road was full of mud
I came in from the wilderness a creature void of form
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

And if I pass this way again you can rest assured
I'll always do my best for her on that I give my word
In a world of steel-eyed death and men who are fighting to be warm
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

Not a word was spoke between us there was little risk involved
Everything up to that point had been left unresolved
Try imagining a place where it's always safe and warm
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

I was burned out from exhaustion buried in the hail
Poisoned in the bushes and blown out on the trail
Hunted like a crocodile ravaged in the corn
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

Suddenly I turned around and she was standing there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

Now there's a wall between us something there's been lost
I took too much for granted got my signals crossed
Just to think that it all began on a long-forgotten morn
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

Well the deputy walks on hard nails and the preacher rides a mount
But nothing really matters much it's doom alone that counts
And the one-eyed undertaker he blows a futile horn
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".
I've heard newborn babies wailing like a mourning dove
And old men with broken teeth stranded without love
Do I understand your question man is it hopeless and forlorn
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothes
I bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal dose
I offered up my innocence and got repaid with scorn
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm".

Well I'm living in a foreign country but I'm bound to cross the line
Beauty walks a razor's edge someday I'll make it mine
If I could only turn back the clock to when God and her were born
    "Come in" she said
"I'll give you shelter from the storm"

    -"Shelter from the storm"-Bob Dylan
Never has this song been more appropriate.

Ok, this is in the music section, BUT, for a different reason then to share lyrics.

I have an investment dilemma...well, that 's the only word coming close to the situation. A friend from the orchestra offered me that I can buy his old trumpet for 1000 bucks. it's just 1 1/2 years old, so pretty new, top condition, in matte gold.

Against it I have to pit my old trumpet of the same brand, 10 years old, in shiny gold.

So, do I stick with my old one or buy the new horn?

EDIT: Ok. After playing it for a while and testing it, I decided it wasn't worth paying the 1k for it.
Now I still have my dear old Sella ^^ She's still shiny after all

So, I am back from my one week of internet-relations absence. A few had chats with me over IM or PM during the last few days, but for the others, here's what's been going on:
First of all I was on a 3 day vacation at the northsea coast of Belgium with my parents. As you can guess from the entries opf the last few months, I've been busy, stressed and had to work through some weird, confusing, saddening enraging and other mood-changes due to some private trouble. I needed that trip badly to get some distance, and as far as success goes, I am pretty much feeling nothing when I think about the last 11 months. I am not as cheery as I used to be yet though and I might not be for some time. I'll see what the end of 09 brings for me as far as that problem goes, but I am pretty confident things can be fixed up nicely again. Maybe not in the way they were, but in new, good and solid ways.

When I say I am not cheery that doesn't mean I am not in a good mood. I am in very good mood actually, mainly because I now something like a plan for the next 5 years and where I want to be then.
    Starting with:

I HAVE CIVIL SERVICE SPOT! Yes!Finally! A job!
The office that is responsible for refusal to join the reserve army has send me a letter today and last week I had an interview with the head of patientcare at the local hospital, so I will be hopefully tending to the sick people in the clinic there.
Not as doctor or nurse though. I am not allowed to give medical advise, or perform medical tasks such as laying infusions.
My tasks will be mainly tending to the people in a very sophisticated 1st aid kind of way. So cleaning wounds, changing bandages etc.

The hospital is nearby, so I can ride there by bike. I am not sure what exactly my shifts will be, but most likely I'll work either in the mornings (from 6am on) or in the evenings (until 8pm). Which I find to be a nice timetable since I get half the day off, which lead me directly to my next point on the Agenda for 09:

    MORE FREETIME FOR ART!
Yes. With half a day of and nothing to do in June I plan to advance quite a bit in CGing and hand-drawn art. I have a few drawings in the work but I want to see all of them finished so "new work" will be a bit reduced until I am done with this stuff I work on now. Starting today with working towards the point where I can drop the WIP behind the Vorox

My Oral exam will be on Monday, 14.30, so I still have two days to prepare myself a bit, but it'll be smooth, espescially with the teachers that'll ask me questions.

Plus, it'll be my birthday next month ^^

Speaking of birthday's, my good buddy Adrian turned 18 last week and I actually managed to get myself drunk. Nothing funnier then to see what other people do with methanol in the bloodstream on such an occasion. A very good day ^^

    Now, to less serious matters:

Asassin's Creed rocks! It combines a lot of elements from games I really like. So I get action, acrobatics and the occasional Hitman feeling from it, plus a very open gameworld. One of the best games I've ever played!

Lego-wise, I now have all Glatorian and just lack Berix and Atakus to complete the collection for the first half of 09. I am looing forward to the Legends. Stronius, Gelu and MN are definately on my list.
In the Starwars corner of my room, the CIS and GAR have both gotten new equipment and troops, namely the HMP droid gunship, the Magna-guard fighter and 3 clonetrooper battlepacks. So now my ATTE is actually manned by a 3-man crew of gunners, my Republic Gunship carries a team of ARC-troopers accompanied by two normal troopers and Master Plo Koon, while the Hangar in my cupboard has three walkers and Cmdr. Cody is on patrol with Obi Wan and some more troopers Funtime!
On a sidenote: the Maganguard fighter was not originally intended to be a CIS ship. It is a vessel built by the Utapau on Utapau, with high-preformance jammers, ideal to take on Vultures and Trifighters. But it's nice to see an unused concept from Episode 3 in use.

I guess that's all for now. I am trying to get a bit away from the net these days, mainly to keep a distance to some things and to focus on improving my art. You'll see me around, but not as much.
As far as PM's go though, spam me all you want, I'll answer each and every single one of them.

    Peace out!

When I counted up my demons Saw there was one for every day
With the good ones on my shoulders
I drove the other ones away

So if you ever feel neglected
And if you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
    Hoping everything's not lost

When you thought that it was over
You could feel it all around
And everybody's out to get you
Don't you let it drag you down

'Cos if you ever feel neglected
And if you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
    Hoping everything's not lost

    If you ever feel neglected
If you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
    Hoping everything's not lost

    Singing out
    Oh, oh, oh, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Everything's not lost

    So come on, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Come on, yeah
    And everything's not lost

    Oh, oh, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    And everything's not lost

    Come on, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Come on, yeah

    Come on, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Come on, yeah
    And everything's not lost

    Sing out, yeah
    Oh, oh, yeah
    Come on, yeah
    And everything's not lost

    Come on, yeah
    Oh, oh yeah
    Sing out, yeah
    And everything's not lost

Now I never meant I to do you wrong
that’s what I came here to say
but if I was wrong then im sorry
but don’t let it stand in our way
cause my head just aches when I think of
the things I shouldn’t have done
but life is for living we all know
and I don’t want to live it alone
    sing ah, ah, ah
    sing ah, ah, ah
and you sing ah, ah, ah

I still haven't really realized it...
It's a hard thing to grasp. But on April 4th I will no longer be in school...after 13 years!

It's exciting and scary and everything at the same time

Hmmm...Isn't is supposed to be warmer outside?
    More friendly, open?

Sun shining, couples walking in the park?

Instead it has been raining more or less constantly since Monday evening.

Thank goodness I have my moms car right now.

Otherwise I propably would have caught another cold already if I had to ride my bike now.

6 days left in school...I still haven't really realized that it'll be over...

When you try your best, but you don't succeed When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
    Stuck in reverse

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
    Could it be worse?

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

High up above or down below
When you too in love to let it go
If you never try you'll never know
    Just watch and learn

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

    Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
    Tears stream down your face
    And I...

    Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
    Tears stream down your face
    And I...

    Lights will guide you home
    And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

I was at the hospital again today to sign some forms, also to check the results of my examination for the army (They use the same to determine how healthy you are and what sort of work you can do) and that my personal info and CV are correct.
I also called the head-office of patient-care, to tell them on which station I want to be.

So, now, from July 1st, I'll be working in the admission/Emergency room. ^^

Give me some water, I'm thirsty, I walked all this way alone
Every single step, foot by foot,
From somwhere out there, very far away from here

I swam through the ocean, fed on water and salt,
only to come here and finally see you
I was in every desert one can think of
Almost giving up to keep on moving

I often took wrong turns, was blind for too long
Everywhere and nowhere I searched for you
And for years I walked through rain,
Or were it tears? I don't know anymore

If love is all that counts
I will walk the same way for you again
If love is all that counts
then no price will be too high too see you

Do you see the bag I carry with me?
My history and my whole life are in it

You can take it from me and burn it
It is full of memories I don't want anymore
Yesterday is worthless to me and tomorrow doesn't matter
As long as you can promise me you'll hold me

If love is all that counts
I will walk the same way for you again
If love is all that counts
I will follow you to the ends of this world

I want to believe what is written in the bible
And what they taught us in every TV-show:
that it doesn't matter in the end
    if you win or lose

If love is all that counts
I'd walk the same way for you again
If love is all that counts
I will follow you to the ends of this world

No price is too high to see you

"Was zählt" by Die Toten Hosen

It's a German Punkband from my hometown, and this is my favourite song by them.
No special intention behind this entry, just a cool song.
