    The Day Has Been So Busy

    From waking up, I discovered the reopened Approval, and the reopened System Discussion topics. I had to read some posts, a few RPGs and post my thoughts on them, probably a few minutes after waking up. (Yeah, I have no life in the morning, cuz I skip breakfast, and don't get dressed). Like regular, I posted what was disliked about some, while reapproving others that had been set in.
     
    So I wnet about the BZP part of my day regularly, posting in some topics, keeping up with RPGs, all that stuff. Later, an argument in the System Topic spurred about., It was completely legit, of course, and it took quite a bit of time out of my earlier schedule. Of course, I hadn't noted that, and it was only a minor inconvenience that people have to go through at some point.
     
    Then, before it was all sorted out; I had to step offline to go to Target, which involved getting some people I knew gifts, and receiving one from someone I know. (The gift I got was this chair thingy... it vibrates, and plays music, and lights up and stuff) Then we went to Best Buy to return some junk and go back home.
     
    After setting up the chair thingy, and playing around with it for a while, I went back on BZP (Cuz I have no life like that) and decided to see what the progress was in COT (Cuz that's where I'm more focused) and noted that in my absence, the System topic went up a page, which meant I had to catch up, and the argument in there had began to take a nastier turn. A person was felt as offended, and the wording of some others could be taken as a bit harsh, but I'm unsure of if it was meant that way.
     
    All my rants and such on the topic that was discussed about it are in the topic, but I'm not naming names in my blog as that may lead to unwanted publicity of a member, or four. It was just a bit hectic, and I was rushing to keep up with everything that was going on. I was really relieved that it ended on a good note, and then I posted up part 1/5 of Robo's soon to be God of War RPG, which I'm rather excited for.
     
    New rules are in the System Topic just so everyone knows.
     
    Then I ate dinner, came back and typed this up out of the shortlived boredom.
     
    Oh, and I have no idea if I'll be able to enter BBC51 as the USB plugin for the Camera is all screwed up...

    Spink Is Pleased.

    I found a subject I felt comfortable talking about for English, and I was able to put it into the speech format within... almost half an hour.
     
    It's so nice to have that checked off my small list of things to do.
     
    It'd be awesome if I got to not speak. I didn't need to speak for that timeline thing... in fact... the English teacher said that I didn't even need to do the assignment when I got back to school the next day.

    My Day

    Well, today I got up at *gasp* a normal time!
     
    So I wen through with my original everyday routine. When later I checked the mail a letter was there for me, curiously I tore it open and read it. (It said to go the park) and so I did. When I got there a whole bunch of people popped out of nowhere screaming "SURPRISE!!!" It scared me so bad to the point I fell over. I was able to get back up of course and it seems that Member Nera was the one who organized the thing.
     
    So I got there at 6 and left at 9. Nera fell asleep and so was relieved of her modding duties in my RPG for the rest of today. Fun party, didn't last long though.

    pretty necklace

    a really lovely friend of mine sent me an awesome gift, which is a faerie necklace with amethyst stones embedded into the metal, along with a two page letter and it was the sweetest thing and now im wearing it all the time. maybe i'll post pictures of it eventually???

    I used Robo's "Master list" of RPGs to see how many I was in/staffed in/owned. I came up with the following conclusion (COT only)
     
    RPGs I have Played In: 50 or so
    RPGs I have Staffed In: 11 or so
    RPGs I have Owned: 3 going on 4

    I just moved a bunch of stuff from the upstairs guest room, down two flights of stairs [50 pound boxes ><] at 11 PM - 1 AM.
     
    Then I took a shower.

    Mw2 And 360

    So, I caclulated up how much sending in my current 360 will cost, roughly $150 with shipping and all of that. So rather, I decided that just giving Gamestop my non-working one and getting a thirty dollar discount on a used one is better and cheaper, making the system $100 to "Repair" other than the $150.
     
    And, if I trade in my COD4 game, and my Halo 3 game, I can get Modern Warefare 2 for twenty bucks. Which is a nice deal, cuz Halo 3 got really boring [Plus I can rent it and borrow it from people I know... the latter for months at a time] and I never will play COD4, again.
     
    So yeah, I can get my Xbox "fixed" and I can get Modern Warefare 2 for a total of $120 altogether, versus the $210 if I got the current 360 repaired, and bought the full priced game. [$170 otherwise].
     
    So, I'm happy. ^^

    Games, Life, Stuff

    idk if i'll ever regularly update this blog but here's an update:
     
    - preordered Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and excited for it to come tomorrow (my friend already has his own copy, though he lives in Australia and it released there)
     
    - preordered Dragon Age: Inquisition and my sister already has her copy of the game (she did digital download), and i'm waiting for my own copy to come in the mail 'cuz i like having the physical box and stuff (and it saves some space on my ps4's harddrive).
     
    - playing Warlords of Draenor in World of Warcraft and having a lot of fun with the new expansion; really made me dig orcs and find their stories interesting. kinda started following the Draenor politics between the clans/Iron Horde and then started to read the orc quests on current day Azeroth to see where the story diverged with their allegiances and how the Iron Horde change will affect them (since some became demon cults, which might not be the case when most of the orcs in the expansion didn't drink the demon blood so curious about it). plus i mean -technically- there's two Burning Legions and two Sargerases now, and im kinda curious if Blizzard will do anything with that or stick to the "not even dealing with time doubles" position.
     
    that's just it for games though
     
    for other stuff it's mostly been like
     
    - counseling, which is going well and i've been given numerous resources for what i need (mostly trans resources, like the address for the Gender Identity Center and some run downs of their programs, like, apparently, they have a sort of mentor program where someone from their organization will go to stores with you and help you find clothes in your size and stuff so you don't have to do it alone... i like the idea and maybe ill make use of it sometime down the line, but with my social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder it's not really easy for me to do that).
     
    - went to a trans discussion group today in the glbt center of my university, after seeing some of their transgender remembrance ceremony (which i didn't attend in full since i get really emotional really easily and didn't want to end up in tears), but after i was able to look at some books and someone from their group took a couple pictures of me which i didnt mind (they asked permission and stuff). but everyone there seemed pretty nice, i didn't say a word even when the group went 1hr over time due to my anxiety problems (i stutter heavily, or blank, or kinda cant' physically move my lips -- it's sort of a mess).
     
    - one of my professors said my writing's incredible and is giving me a lot of leeway with page numbers (as in i dont have to write a 3-4 page paper so long as i can cover everything, be it less than 3-4 pages or longer). it kinda means something since she's also one of the English professors and works in the English department alongside the Women and Gender studies programs, and teaches some of the higher level English courses at the university. idk, it felt nice to be complimented (and tbh all my papers submitted in my comp II course rarely come back with much more than a "you used a comma splice here" or "you used a passive voice here" and it's usually only one or two of those per paper, if that (rest is usually sections underlined with compliments, which still kinda surprises me).
     
    - next semester i want to take a creative writing course, since that would actually really help me with what i want to do by the end of next year (apply for an internship). mostly, Blizzard Entertainment (the people who made World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, Starcraft, etc...) have an internship program for college students every year, as in the deadline's December to apply and you need in depth knowledge of WoW's lore (thus my playing it and reading books), on top of a portfolio of creative works to submit (which is why im not applying this year, since i haven't done a lot of creative works i'm proud of since most of them were impulse writing). kinda starting with my creative short story for my final project in my Women and Gender studies course.
     
    - thinking to minor in Women and Gender studies and major in English (probably still an emphasis on education? in case i can't get a creative writing job it'd be nice to be able to fall back on the teaching idea).

    if not ill prolly just buy them off TRU's website and see if i can afford a quickish shipping option with them
     
    only one i really want is gali though but onua would be cool and i dont have any misgivings about kopaka or tahu

    English Class = <3

    We got to write four short stories. I had a lot of fun with this, the first one was themed and was more like "How would you react if there were no adults in the world? Like, they suddenly vanished." it wasn't expected of me to make it a story, but I made it a first person small story thing that was a lot of fun to write. I had ten minutes, so it wasn't any longer than half a page [Though, with my handwriting, it counts as a page].
     
    The second story was themed... forget what the theme was though, but it was fun to write out nonetheless, and it got my creativity moving forwards. The third was the same.
     
    Then, we had absolute free reign with the fourth, and I made a full page detailing a story thing I made up in two minutes and wrote out in ten ^^
     
    Then we all turned them in. Easy grades. ^^

    For P.E our class is playing softball, with three teams. The teams are on a rotating thing [batting team, when out, goes to dugout, dugout team switches to field and field switches to batting], but the team I was on got out [three times] after the third batter, so batting got boring. When we were in the dugout, all I felt like doing was to either sleep or writing and I had no laptop nor a pen and paper. And since I was outfield, there was absolutely nothing interesting happening to me... besides for the other Outfield people tackling a runner.
     
    So yeah, PE was boring.
     
    And that's the only thing I have to blog about.

    This is odd, I touched my eyebrow and it was covered in blood, how quaint. Same goes for me finger, but that was because I cut it after running my hand along a wall with random metal pieces.
     
    It dun hurt, I just found that very odd.

    After watching some cutscenes, especially the End of an Era cutscene, I really want to play Final Fantasy XIV when it's re-released as FFXIV: A Realm Reborn.
     
    And I really, really hope there's a soundtrack for this game... and that the song in the End of an Era cutscene is in there.

    Some Stuff.

    I'm actually going to pull out of the Core War SSC as I don't have the time anymore and I kinda lost interest in what I was working on. I read it a few times and just didn't like it and I had no other ideas for the contest that wouldn't get auto-shot down because of excess violence/too much non-canon. However, I might make a short story for the Core War, but it just won't be in the contest is all.
     
    I actually forgot the names of my characters in nearly every RPG I play in, so I got to look that up XP
     
    On another note, I spent about an hour doing homework for all of my classes which isn't too bad, actually. Oh, and I like the English assignment already, and the teacher is awesome. The other teacher got half his finger sewn back on, so he's cool too.

    Stuff I Did.

    So I was out and about for ten hours yesterday from things ranging to random walking, to an art festival, to eating at a Greek place which had good food to nearly getting smacked in the head by a rogue fisbee thrown by a Navy recruiter at the art festival, and a baseball game that lasted three hours.
     
    Today we all went out and did some errands.

    Italy!

    So in two days (Sunday) I'll be on a plane headed for Rome, Italy, even though I have to catch a second one in Detroit (boo).
     
    It's just me going, on my own, which is actually pretty exciting -- I'll be able to do things on my own schedule, go where I want to go, do what I want to do. (And spend as much time as I'd like doing those things, my family's usually very "rush rush" when touring and I'm not).
     
    Although I ordered new clothes (mostly for school, and since I sort of do need a lot of replacements for shirts...) which should be here tomorrow, so hopefully those come in on time. (I got a purple one I really liked, and one with a cute heart design on it I thought looked really neat).
     
    I'm also getting so many miles on that Delta program thing. So many.
     
     
    (This is also why I'm not going to BrickFair this year)

    Fan Writings and Stuff

    I've been writing a thing because of the new Bionicle 2015 stuff, though since there's not a ton of information and junk out I messed up here and there by giving Pohatu a mask power (I think I more or less edited it out, I don't think it's implied the character has it, either). Also being fairly liberal with personalities and stuff, for now.
     
    Anyway, I like what I have so far. It's not a grand story, just sort of a little practice thing, but it's fun writing a female Kopaka and a nonbinary Pohatu. Guess it's just easier for me to relate to them as characters? But the main cast could probably use some more diversity anyway, plus it's a little fun to write a tall, broad shouldered female character since there aren't a ton of them (and I do relate a bit more to the character).
     
    Still feel like Kopaka/Pohatu should be a thing. Always.

    Sooo yeah, I bought the PS3 and I like the thing, despite its bulkiness. And yes, I also bought Valkyria Chronicles along with Assassin's Creed. I also ordered some stuff off the internet cuz they didn't have it at GameStop.
     
    I also got the old DVD Player we have to work and play DVDs again, so another yay. I also got to go out to eat which was fun enough, so yay again.
     
    Yup. That's it.

    I came up with a short little poem thing for the history project, I thought it was dreadfully rushed and horrible (Again, I absolutely suck at poems and songwriting in generay ><) turns out other people liked it o.O
    Oh, and I didn't nearly miss the bus today
