Ah, Yu-Gi-Oh, the thing I was absolutely fixated upon before Bionicle. I had about two binders full of the cards, though I never learned to play. Pretty pictures, I suppose I thought.

 

Hey man, I love the art on most of the cards. It's why I play the decks I play and why I like it so much.

....I guess thats why I'm making the RPG.

Thematically? Not at all. The ending of the series is fitting to the overall narrative and character arc- reflecting Shinji understanding that he needs to like himself to survive. Whether or not it's incredibly pretentious is the argument (though I'm of the camp that thinks EVA, while a fun series, is way too full of itself). Shame the budget was gone, and the originally planned scripts (EoE) got rejected by the networks, though.

But anyway, I liked the two last episodes as episodes (some of the better ones in the series, IMO) but you must at meant they are not an ending at all. the series could've easily continued after that. (which the ending did do, technically episodes 25 and 26 took place in the end of evangelion but I digress.)

Honestly I though the end of evangleion was a decent ending. Then again I hated all the characters save Ryoji , so I didn't care at all that they all died.

Heads up, the ending to the manga is massively disappointing. Shame, liked it more than the series for the most part.

I usually shy away from tier 0/1 decks, and Exodia. I'll use anything else tho and I'm getting fond of burning knucklers.

 

My RL deck on the other hand is machina geartown and has not changed much in years.

My Machina Gadget deck got owned when future fusion got banned.

I use batterymen now.

why did they make Clauncher exclusive to X ;__; now i have to decide between Yveltal and Clauncher, two of my very favorite designs for this gen ARGH

That IS really lame...

But it depends on what clauncher turns into for me.

I only play casual decks in general since I usually don't like the top tier theme anyways.

my real life decks usually don't get hit anyway, so I don't care.

I knew the panda would be fighting dark! I think he looks awesome. not a fan of the cotton candy or the squid though. Still hoping clauncher's evolved form looks awesome.

I'm currently running a Malefic Dragon and a Dino Rabbit as my go-to decks.

it's all free. they're multiple versions but the best one ATM is the one by ygopro.co.

I loved it. It's nice to see a slice of life show where all the characters aren't female for once.

some of my pieces have this too. I thought it was weird. I washed all my sets recently and packaged them in bags before putting them into bins. maybe you should try something similar.

Well, I finally got around to watching Gurren Lagann because I've been saving it and...

 

I am amazed. The way the show evolved and blew past my expectations still leaves me shocked, to say the least. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it at first, but halfway through I started to get into it more and by the end I was absolutely in love with everything about it.

 

Definitely in my Top 5 Favorite Anime.

the final episode of hayate aired today, as excepted it was pretty meh. did like the fight scene though.

I wouldn't say that. I've just beaten a lot of the game because there are a lot of them. I've played just about the same percentage ofmegaman and sonic, halo, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and pokemon games also, all of which I enjoyed about as much (or more so) then Mario.

I play the TCG and, once in a while, go to a sneak peek. I don't duel much anymore. I'm currently more of a collector. I play Cyber Gears, Spiders, and Spellcasters.

Spiders are a working decktype?

 

I think most players that are really casual don't think about making a deck to beat out the meta or even try to compete with it. I know I've made deck because I really liked one card.
