Don't worry, in a week or so my list of bands (which isn't nearly as long as yours, trust me) will be back. But yeah, 36CF is great if you like that kind of Metal- A Snow Capped Romance and Rest Inside the Flames are two of the best Metalcore albums I own.

by the way, I don't know if this is intentional or not, but you have Thrice listed twice in your list of bands. kind of funny, a band called Thrice being there twice. =P

How? The lyrics are epic and the music is no different, stylistically, than the rest of the album.

This Day We Fight is one of the best songs on the album.

I don't understand how anyone who has actually bothered to listen to Endgame can say it was worse than Risk... Risk wasn't even metal, while Endgame is 100% thrash/heavy metal goodness.

I think that starting with The System Has Failed, Megadeth made a comeback out of where they went with Risk. System, United Abominations, and Endgame were all fantastic albums.

Sorry, Xinlo, but I have to agree with MM... Risk and St. Anger were both fairly bleh.

though I also have to say that Peace Sells is a horrible album that Dave Mustaine should be ashamed of ever writing, recording, and unleashing upon the world.

+10 Awesome Points for Celldweller and Seasons After, but -5 Awesome Points for lack of 36 Crazyfists. Check 'em out; Based on the bands you like I think you'd find them great.

Ooh, yes, you most certainly should check out Fozzy. They're amazing. And yeah, Chasing the Grail is easily their best album.

By the way, a band recommendation: Anacrusis. Progressive/Thrash Metal band that was around in the late 80s and early 90s, released four albums - two of which are considered Thrash classics - before disbanding in 1994. Their albums are all available free to download on their site.

Hey Xinlo, emo =/= goth. They're two very different things.

But it kind of makes sense that I have that in common with emo girls, considering I am in fact borderline emo by today's definition of the term. xD

Though I'm 100% positive there are other Metalheads who aren't interested in Maiden and/or Priest.

And am I the only metal fan in the world who DOESN'T like Maiden and Priest? I've never seen what's so amazing about them, but that's just me...

Gonna have to disagree with you, Xinlo. There are many great Alt Metal, Nu Metal, and Metalcore bands.
