Okay, I just saw Bridge to Terabithia, and I'm shocked. Not about the movie, but about one of its actors. I know her in person, as I was in her class when I was in fifth grade! It's Lauren Clinton, who played the bully. It's highly unnerving to watch someone you know on the big screen, when just a couple years ago I was grading her papers.
Oh, and for the movie, it's very good. I suggest you see it.

I'm very happy with 2007 so far.
It has squid (One of my two favorite animals!), mutations, abysses, sunken cities, the sets are each unique, and, considering the fact that the video on BIONICLE.com is animated by Ghost, I'm pretty sure the commercials will be canon, unlike the Piraka and Inika.
Also, I only have seven days until my fourth year on BZPower. I'm-a waitin'.

    Hiyah.
I was bored a couple days ago and I decided to record myself speaking in a strange voice and telling nonsensical stories. I play "Uncle Stumbly," a demented old man.

I'ma gonna tell you about a weird dream I had last night.

It started out with my grandpa driving my cousin Kristjan and I around in the desert. We weren't really doing anything, but soon we found a grove of trees, and in the center of them, a bunch of open-roofed flying saucer-type vehicles. They were white with a bit of black trim, and they sank in towards the middle. A small circular table jutted out of the middle, with handles all over it. There was a group of people standing around it, and they invited Kristjan and I to come with them.

We did as they did, and grabbed onto the handles on the inside. A large glass dome appeared over us, and the center table began spinning with us hanging on. Soon we were spinning fast enough that the G-force was keeping my feet parallel to the floor. The saucer lifted off and began to fly away. We passed the cloud layer and wound up in space. We eventually landed on Mars. There seemed to be a bunch of ancient ruins there, and several monsters from Godzilla movies were fighting each other. (Gigan 1972, Godzilla 1972, and Godzilla 2000 for all you G-Fans out there.)

We then left in our strange vehicle again, and eventually touched down on Earth, but it was different than when we had left. Everything was an apocalyptic war zone. It looked like someone had dropped an H-Bomb. The sky was green and filled with dark grey smoke clouds. The ground was misty and filled with wreckage. We all walked away separately, except for Kristjan and I, who went together. There were strange, dark war machines scattered around the place. They were all very jagged and looked almost insect-like. There were corpses and occasional dead, blackened trees in between them.

We soon found an area to the west that was still fighting, and the strange war machines belched out smoke and fired blasts of deadly red light at each other. Foot soldiers ran between them, all wearing dark, metal armor and helmets, which completely obsured their faces and all other hints of their humanity.

We retreated back to the east, and soon found many mutated humans lying dead on the ground. There was even a huge, dying soldier with no pupils leaning against a cliff. We walked a little further before speaking to each other.

"Kristjan? How long can anyone survive here? With only death and mutations in the east, and only battles and war in the west...?" I asked.

"Not much longer. We'll need to find a safe place."

"Well why don't we pilot one of those saucers back up into space? We could stay there, and from above we can find a safe place," I suggested.

"What if there is no safe place?"

    "We'll stay up there."

And so we separated, Kristjan heading to the grove of trees where we first found the saucers, and me heading to my house to gather provisions. I arrived there after some time, and found the back of it to be blasted apart. I raided the pantry and filled a container with water. I walked into the computer room, and opened the door to the sideyard. I exited the gate and snuck back to the grove of trees. When I arrived there, a little girl and someone who I don't remember were standing there. The little girl spoke to me first.

She said, "Hi, sir. A boy told me that he was waiting for someone to return here, and that if I came soon enough he would take both of us away!"

"Okay. You can come with," I said.

The person I don't remember heard this, and withdrew a gun and walked toward me. He said, "Saucers are unavailable to civilians at this time. If you try to pilot one you will be eliminated."

"I'm not trying to pilot one," I lied, "I'm hear for maintenance. This girl can be my assistant, if she likes."

    "You may pass."

I crawled inside each saucer, looking for Kristjan. I pretended to do work, also, so I wouldn't seem suspicious. I finally found him lying in one, and the three of us tried to start it up, but it was too noisy, and the guard noticed. He turned around and a powerful blast of red light burst out of his gun barrel. It hit one side of our saucer, and blasted that side off the ground. It threw us into another one, this time a blue and black one that was both a different model and had falllen into disrepair. We tried desperately to start it as he walked closer to us, and finally we pressed the right button. A propeller on the bottom lifted us unsteadily up into the air, but the saucer was falling apart, and pieces began to fall off and onto the ground. We desperately tried to fasten them, but it was no use. Meanwhile, Kristjan was randomly pressing buttons in an attempt to make the dome go up.

We were about 200 feet in the air, and the guard down below was firing at us. Many hits grazed us, and Kristjan finally managed to activate some sort of energy bubble dome. It was too late, though, as we were hit in our propeller, and we were already falling.

    And then I woke up.

In BIONICLE-related news, I recently called the closest LEGO store to me, and they said they were getting the Barraki next week! I'm gonna get Mantax, and the rest, too, if I'm lucky!

Well, one more week 'til the end of school... I've been having some interesting dreams lately. For example, several nights ago I had one that referenced an H.P. Lovecraft story called "The Shadow Out of Time."

I had been walking down the main road of our neighborhood, when I noticed a massive structure on the hill. It appeared to be the ancient ruins of a long-dead civilization. It was about 200 feet high and made of light grey granite. It had a massive featureless ridge on the top, held up by crumbling pillars, each about 40 feet in diameter. In the center was a colossal 185 or so foot tall alcove, going inwards about 20 or so feet. The inside of the alcove was lined with small ridges, each about 1 to 2 feet wide, with several inches between them. The alcove was filled with several black, dome-shaped openings serving as doors or windows.

I asked my dad, who was also with me, what it was, and he claimed not to know, but suggested that it could be an abandoned, crumbling freeway. I convinced him to accompany me in exploring the ruins, and we decided the only way to get to it was to sneak through Russ' yard. (Russ is our neighbor who makes fake rocks for landscaping. He lives in a tiny house with a huge and steep driveway.) As we entered his yard, we saw a vast array of buildings. Apparently he had made quite a bit of money as of late. After about 20 minutes or so of sneaking past empty buildings, we reached the last cluster. It was mainly a large, 2-story "L" shaped building made of tan, imitation adobe. they had a large wooden deck or balcony supported by many rectangular pillars and supports. There was a tiny old, somewhat chubby, woman with short blonde hair watching TV on a couch. She noticed me and began talking.

"Oh, Gunnar! I haven't seen you since you were born! You know, I've always wished you could have been born like me... Well, and my son Russ and your uncle Greg..."

    "How is that?" I responded.

"Removed from your mother with a robotic, razor-like claw. Say... Could I just... Cut you a bit, for old time's sake?" she said, withdrawing from her shirt a small razor.

    "No!"

I asked if I could use a computer to find out more about the ruins, and she allowed me to. They were apparently occupied millions of years ago by the Truncated Cones of the East. They were later driven out by tentacled Wise Ones, some of which still occupy the ruins even today.

I was about to walk to the ruins when I woke up. It was... Frustrating.

Hello and welcome. This is my blog. Here you can come to get bored. As nothing even remotely interesting ever happens here, you will be bored. Resistance is futile. Anyways, on to business.

Today I woke up to the sound of my mom yelling at me from the bottom of the stairs to get up. I went downstairs and ate some cereal. Then I went to the cemetary. (And don't you tell me that it's not Memorial Day yet!) Then we went home. Now I'ma gonna go take a shower.

And so ends my life. -I mean, uh, a, ummm... Chapter... Of my life. Or... A segment of a chapter.
