I made an Edward Cullen Christmas cookie today. Look at those luscious lips! Those sparkles! Those dreeeaamy golden eyes!

Oooh, but will Jacob be able to steal Bella away from him with his muscular physique, squinty eyes, and high cheekbones?

    Oooooh they're both so dreamy!

I've always thought that Christmas needed an enduring villain, because all Christmas villains seem to have a change of heart at some point... So here's the Anti Claus, who lives at the South Pole in a dumpy hovel. He's probably got some grody little gnomes or trolls serving him.
(His colors were inspired by Old Man Winter in this cool old cartoon.)

As it's been defunct for roughly 200 years, and I haven't seen any takers, I'm assuming the title of Holy Roman Emperor. Henceforth, I am Holy Roman Emperor Gunnar I, or "HRE Gunnar" for short. (Pronounced "Hrri," with a rolled R.)
Also, my friend Chris has assumed the post of Grand Vizier, because that's another cool title.

As of yesterday, we have a massive array of solar panels on our roof. We're sticking it to the Mans at the SCE.
We're not especially "green" or anything, but that company is so corrupt we refuse to pay it any of our money if we can help it. We don't have an air-conditioner, heater, or any cable at my house, but in the past they've charged us upwards of $800 a month in energy bills... Just blatantly assigning made-up numbers to us. (And sure enough, when we actually tracked our meter for a month, we ended up with less than half the usage they were charging us for.)

    STICK IT TO THE MAAAN

So I just opened up MS Paint for the first time in Windows 7... And it's actually pretty nice. I'm shocked.
It's still only for simple editing, but you don't wanna open up Photoshop every time you need to crop an image, right? It's got a nice cropping function, some zoom buttons, and it actually maintains your picture's aspect ratio when you adjust its size. I'm glad MS Paint is finally a workable program.

This topic, which asks what the worst change in BIONICLE's story has been, got me thinking. Here's my post in it.

So it occurred to me... In 2008, the significance of being a Makuta was greatly reduced, as just about every other character in the serials was some new Makuta with hardly any role, but before that the same had already happened to Toa. Some say that Toa were already perceived as not legendary by 2004, starting with the Metru, but I disagree. They may not have been the powerful demigods of 2001, but characters like Lhikan definitely fit the mold, and the transformation into Toa was perceived as a "mystical gift" from the Great Spirit. It was really 2006 that started this trend... Once the Inika-Matoran became Toa, there was little sense of wonder or awe, and once serials began the next year, more and more Toa would appear as needed until they became largely expendable.

I think that what turned off so many older fans in the past few years was the "cheapening" of story roles that, in the past, had great significance attached to them. (Luckily, Bara Magna seems to circumvent this possibility by attaching little significance to Glatorian in the first place.)
So what do you think? Is the cheapening of roles like this a good explanation for why you were dissatisfied with recent years?

So I've been backing up the files on my computer for the upgrade to Windows 7 (Can XP really be eight years old?), and after putting the MNOLG onto a thumb drive, I tested it to make sure everything was in working order. It's been a really long time since I've played it, and I chose to test the part where you're riding the Kahu and fighting the Nui-Rama. Apparently the updates I've given my computer since I last played the game have made a huge difference in speed, though, because this time the Nui-Rama were moving so fast that I could barely hit them, and I nearly lost. It was crazy. They were just flying around the screen in a blur, faster than I could move the mouse... Who would have thought that the MNOLG would increase in difficulty as computers advanced?

Anyways, I'm pretty excited for Windows 7 right now. I've heard nothing but good things about it so far, and I can get it for free when it comes out because I have connections. (One of my dad's good friends was the inventor of AOL's attachment compression system.) I've been watching reviews of it, and all I can say is that I have some serious Taskbar-envy right now.

(I'm the one in the orange.)

Anyways, this is from Disco Day at my school. We went for more of a 70's cop look than purely disco, but at least we got the era right... Half the kids at school were dressed as hippies. I saw one girl with a home-made shirt that said "The Disco 60's."

    And that's just abominable.

Disco Day tomorrow at school... I've got my stylish medallion and mustache at the ready.
I'll probably get some pictures up soon.

Also, the Allegory of the Cave is invalid until it's been tested with the scientific method.
