It's the actual nickname I'm called by my friends and family

Even though I've won nothing the anticipation is killing me :0

Thanks guys! Yeah Maloko is the only of the mocs here that turned out exactly like I intended it. Much like Paleo's great Araxi, I wanted a non-standard design that would really stand out.

So I thought I'd post a thread for these. I'm a bit lazy so I'll just post them all together. Don't really have much of a backstory for any of them, except for them being evil entities.
In order from left to right:
Chernobog is just a stereotypical demon overlord, likes schemes and gloating in front of heroes. Koura Homonga is an undead king, commander of a skeleton army, he's very greedy and vain too. Nyrla'glob is the physical incarnation of an ancient slumbering evil from a different plane of existence. Garagorg is simply an angry, hungry, violent beast, not really guided by anything except for his appetite for flesh and destruction. Maloko is an evil cursed spirit, taking the form of a giant eye with the ability to shoot lazers and petrify foes. Voskor is a bone collector from the underworld, perhaps a deity dreamt up by the Manas.
Thanks for taking a look!- 9

Would a disassembled Chima Ultrabuild figure head count as a modified part? They come apart with the simple turn of a screw on the back, not really modifying the part in any way like painting or cutting would. Still, better safe than sorry.

I will have to get back to you on that. My take would be that they are System, but I don't want to commit to that.I'm using a lot of viking horns, HF claws, Barraki eyes, and minifig Piraka spines on a MOC that I am considering for this contest. Will these parts be classified as system?
Could you ask about dinosaur tail sections too? VBBN on Eurobricks said they'd probably be ok as constraction, but better to be sure.

I'd like a clarification on how the whole 'you can post your entries on all of the sites at once but win on only one.' How is the site you win on determined? Wouldn't multiple people posting their creations on multiple sites kinda mess things up? For example another person and I post on both BZP and EB. Would one of us be eligible to win on BZP and the other on EB? If so, wouldn't posting on multiple sites artificially boost your chances of winning?

It's a bugman, it goes buzz buzz.
Not really much else to say about it, just wanted to build a stylized antropmorphic bug after making the expressive face. It was originally going to have more actually insect-like wings but I couldn't come up with a solution I was fully satisfied with. In the end I settled for the purple avian ones, just pretend they're vestigial ornaments for attracting partners or something. :v
Thanks for having a look!- 5

This desperately needs some antenae on the head :v
Really liking it, the stylized proportions are gorgeous. -

You wake one, and you wake them all.
The Bohrok are by far my favorite Bionicle sets, and Tahnok gets the title of favorite set, because that's the one I got back in 2002. Hyped up bu the now very likely return of the line and some of the other reinterpretations of classic characters that have popped up recently, I was inspired to take a shot at rebuilding one.
Their faces always confused me though, never was quite sure how I was supposed to read their facial features. They're usually described as being insectoid in nature though, a swarm, so I took some liberties and made my interpretation slightly buglike.
The Va was more of an afterthought, an accessory to the Tahnok. It was built really quickly and not much effort went into it but I'm still pleased with the result.
Well that's it for my ranting. Thanks for taking a look!

Well done, as always. Dat hammah.
Hehe, thanks.
I can't believe you actually made a Riotflea.
I dunno, I always liked Jinzo's stuff, I remember one of my first encounters with Bionicle online was browsing through his galleries on Brickshelf.
As I said on Flickr, I love the waist design. I've seen a lot of people use those tubes to great effect and I've never tried it. Another great part would be the limbs. The dual piston look really helps the cyberpunk aesthetic and it looks great. The Mata limb on the back of the lower legs is brilliant. I haven't seen many people use that piece, especially not as well as here.
The side and back views feel a little empty though. The front is so well armored and flows nicely, then on the other side there are open bricks and a pretty good look at the inside of the Pixi rather than plating that would be expected. It would be nice to continue that tubing design through the back, though at least the upper body needs some more smooth armor on the back. The waist also conflicts with the smooth flow of the rest of the body with its harsh flat areas and corners all around.
Still, the color scheme is fantastic (not many people build old purple MOCs) and you definitely pulled off the cyberpunk robot look you were going for.
The emptiness of the alternate angles is a bit unfortunate, yes but also a tiny bit intentional I guess? I wanted to make her seem frail and delicate, to contrast the huge hammer thing. I also ran out tubes and purple in general, whoops. Thanks though!

She's gonna kick your butt.
Not much to say about this one either really, she's just a cyberpunky android with an attitude, with some added generic anime girl flair. I built the head first, inspired by Felix' Pixi Droid and the rest just came together after that. The whole body construction, color choices and even the name are sort of inspired by early 2000's Bionicle MOCs, Jinzoningen73's Riot Fleas in particular. Thanks for taking a look!

Built for my pal Iggy. It's my reinterpretation of his self-moc as some kind of space faring mercenary commando guy. The build didn't start out as the character but then I built the head and the colors fit and yeah you get the point. The torso has been a design I wanted to try for a long while now.
Thanks for having a look!

Yeah, I've done the whole bushing eye thing a lot of times (look at my avatar, heh) it works really well IMO.
Yep, that's a chromastone head, got it earlier today in a bin of used parts.
I mainly used the visorak feet because I have a very, very limited selection of navy blue. The mixel joint is oriented that way to allow for heel support so the figure can stand up.
The fingers aren't gunemtal, they're the new HF silver. I ran out of the pearly ones and just decided to go with flat silver anyway.
Thanks!

So yeah, I made a dinosaur, hyped up by TF4. I didn't even like the movie that much :I
Sorry for not taking more pictures, I couldn't think of more creative angles and poses. And I was a bit lazy.
Thanks for taking a look!PS. I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Bionicle section. The mods can move it how they see fit.

So after I had completed my BBCC68 entry I kind of went into the opposite direction and made some smaller builds, using the awesome new eye print parts available in the Mixel sets. Most of these are just some fun experiments in shaping and character design, nothing too serious at all. They were pretty quick builds too, not taking me more than an hour or two to complete each.
The first and most unrefined one, mostly built to use the colors and kanohi.
Jheemarssun, the Lizard King.
Some kind of tiny bird thing.
Sir Leoraph Donmike, a turtle guard for Jheemarsun.
And a worm.
So yeah, these were just a fun change of pace from building robots and bigger stuff. I do have plans for some greater things however...- 9

I really really like the concept of the figure but I feel like the execution feels a lot to be desired. What bothers me most by far is the gap in the side of the torso and the positioning of the fish eyes. As it is right now, I don't think it's going to have a huge field of vision, and fish as a rule don't have forward facing eyes.
A simple solution to both problems would be this, easily doable with a couple system dishes and some clip/t-part assmblies, since you do actually have connection points free there:
The overly long thumb spikes and inexplicable usage of dark grey in the hands also strikes me as awkward. Also, while the mask fits the figure fine I would personally have liked to see a scratch built head, more cute and less alien, to further emphasize the contrast and up the shock factor when the maw is revealed, but that's just a nitpick I guess.
