Prior to the Dataclysm syvra had began the process of getting a custom blade created. Sadly not much process had been made on this front though now i am working with Tabby: Toa of Cats who plays the Toa Akiru in hopes of getting her team to possibly create the blade. While nothing is set in stone yet i would like to share my designs for the blade

While this may not be the most solid of designs it is the best one i could come up with. And before anyone asks the metal of the blade would be protosteel while the rest will be whatever the Toa Akiru feel appropiate

Also here is a more detailed little bit explaining in depth the injection process. Though the best way to describe the process is like a snakes fang. The actual venom of the snake is not stored in the actual fang but a sac in the head that when the time comes the venom is transferred from said sac to the fang and out of it.

And here is the full sized version of the picture

Also as a update here are the mechanics of how to get the poison in
The Poison is held in a refillable canister that can be inserted into the handle. Essentially the half of the handle is unscrewable. You slide the refillable canister in then screw the bottom half back on and well yeah that is the jist of it. The real mechanics of the blade lies in the bottom half of the handle.

And feel free to give your opinion on this.. I am all ears

EDIT: I realized that if i switched the point of the blade to the top it would actually work better for if using the blade offensively it can slice at the target without getting caught on the end.

i just had the best response to the following quote that is in my signature and i just had to share it
"Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it."

    and here is the response
i mean it is perfect i love it.

I must say that I'm really getting frustrated because I've only had 1 person Comment on my epic The Switch Mirror And mind you this story has been up since December 6th 2010. The same applies to my first ever stop motion video The curious Stant Viper except this has only been up since February 8th and still no one has left any type of comment although there have been plenty of views of the two. It's just really frustrating.
And If you notice the people who get a lot of comments on their stuff are those who have hundreds of post under their belt, Have some staff position or have done a million different projects. I have nothing against anyone I just wish more people paid attention to the beginners as much as they do the experts.

Well I've noticed that a lot of people on Bzpower like Anime so I thought I would list my favorite Anime and Manga

RANMA 1/2 SAYUKI BLOOD + TRINITY BLOOD FULL METAL ALCHEMIST INUYASHA POPOTAN ROSARIO + VAMPIRE PRETTY FACE FRUITS BASKET HELLSING SLAYERS DEATH NOTE GHOST IN THE SHELL
Mind you I have a older sister that watches a lot of Anime and reads a lot of Manga. Its kinda funny she likes Inuyasha and I like Ranma 1/2 which came before Inuyasha and is made by the same person. We also lived in Okinawa, Japan for 3 years so we have been used to this kind of stuff. Also if you ever get the chance try some Japanese catsup because it is the BOMB they make theirs with fresh tomatoes not rotten.

well the ground hog did not see his shadow so that means early spring but the funny part is last night ( the night the groundhog did not see his shadow) my town had a decent snowfall about 5 inches. so that is why i say in Alaska the normal seasons don't apply we only have summer and winter because by the time spring comes around we still have snow and the snow doesn't fully melt till the middle of may. When it comes to Autumn trees try to change color but they don't succeed because the snow comes immediately getting rid of the leaves on the tree.

So that is a little fun fact.

to all who may consider coming to Tok, Alaska DON'T IT'S NOT WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT. it's basically a cold horrible place during winter and in summer is infested with tourist although they are the main money producers. and don't get seriously injured down here because it's a 4 hour drive to the closest hospital and clinics don't count as a hospital.
and to top it all off tonight's temperature is supposed to be from -10*f to -40*f. i repeat again avoid Tok, Alaska AT ALL COST.
  9. Voxumo
well as of today tok, Alaska has a temp of 6.6*f and a windchill of 7*f and light snow. we are supposed to maintain this temp for the rest of the week. which is a relief since mos of last week we were at on average -20*f, but our lowest was -40*f.
most Alaskans are predicting a bad winter.

Firstly, This session was amazing. My luck with the pokemon that was my first encounter in each route was amazing. I ran into a couple mareeps, though sadly couldn't catch them since Jimothy, A bellsprout, was already caught on that route. Caught a Sandshrew as well in Union cave... Named it Snowdome for obvious reasons. Did I mention it had a quick claw, because it did.

Then I beat Bugsy, not much of a threat, though His Scyther's quick attack was quite a hassle. Also beat Spirit's (Rival) Croconaw with ease... Jimothy kicks some major behind. Did a bit more after the rival battle, and ended the session at the Daycare center, where I put Cheese, the togepi egg named after a character from Deadheads(Great movie, suggest it), and Lindsey, a caterpie. Also got a drowzee! So freakin excited about that.

So I have beaten the first gym, just barely though as Falkner's Pidgeotto almost kicked Raze's behind, however a well timed critical ember, followed up with a quick attack, managed to secure us the victory.

So I've never really talked about this before, but for the last three years I've been part of a rather amazing, my personal opinion, MUD called The Inquisition: Legacy, or TI:Legacy for short. For those who don't know what a MUD is, it stands for Multi-User Dungeon. It's essentially a Text-Based MMO. However what sets TI:Legacy apart from a majority of it's fellow MUDs is the fact it is heavily RP Driven, such as the BZPRPG, where as most MUDs are hack and slash type games. Though that isn't to say TI:Legacy doesn't have it's fair share of combat, but it isn't the key driving force of the game.

TI:Legacy was the first and only MUD I've ever played, and before it I didn't even know what a MUD was. However the people on it are very helpful when it comes to explaining the game and are open to questions. This brings me to my first key point of TI:Legacy; The community is great. While it has a rather small playerbase compared to other MUDS, 50+ players with multiple characters, this has created a very friendly group of players, ranging mostly 18+ but with a few still in their teens. The community is mature yet still able to joke around with each other quite a bit. They are also very open to new players, instead of many communities where new players are shunned or find it hard to get into the pre-formed cliques. It also has a very active group of 7 staff members, including the owner of the game, who are on almost every day and are responsive. They are constantly trying to make the game better, whether that be creating plots, new locations on grid, new skills or handling policy matters that come up. I've never met a group of staff who are such a part of their community, except maybe TTV.

Moving forward we have the actual world of the game. It's set in an alternate 'dimension' world called Urth, where Magic is very real. Originally magic was as common day as dirt, but after a group of mages assassinated the kings family, the Inquisition and Consolidation began. While the Holy Order of Dav, the main religion in the game, sought to eradicate magery from the face of Urth, the kingdom sought to bring the varies duchies together into one unified kingdom. Fast forward several hundred years and mages are no longer the public figures they were, instead forced to hide their magic or face the Inquisition. Almost all of the duchies are under the Lithmorran Flag, except for the Daravi Sultanates who continue to resist the Lithmorran kingdom and being the only people who still openly embrace Magic. There are numerous helpfiles in the game that explain the lore further and more indepth.

On top of the lore of the game, there are numerous 'guilds' within the game and different races you can be representing the numerous duchies. Many of the races share key traits with real life races. For example you have the Lithmorrans who make up most of Urth's population are your basic Europeans. From there you have the Tubori who could best be described as 'Islanders' since their race takes traits from many sea-faring people. There are 5 more races to choose from including the Farins, Vandagans, Vavardians, Charali and Hillmen, each with their own traits and extensive lore and culture. For those looking for fantasy species I'm afraid you will be disappointed for there are no elves, centaurs, vampires, unicorns, etc. However there is a very real demonic presence in Lithmore, though often only when summoned. Did I mention demon summoning is a thing, because it is.

I could go on and on about the lore and culture of the game, but I won't bore you further with it, and instead allow you to discover it yourself. Instead I shall talk further about the various skills in the game. Currently TI: Legacy boasts a 72-skill system, with an extensive crafting system, with more in the works currently. These skills are organized into different categories including: Combat, Survival, Communication, Magic, Covert, Trade and Performing. With the vast amount of skills you aren't limited in what type of character you want to play. You want to play the blacksmith who also one bad mofo in combat, well we got skills for that. Want to play the cook, well we have an extensive cooking, brewing and foraging system. Maybe a medieval Walter White is more up your alley, well we have an herbalism skill that includes illegal ingame substances with a fully functioning addiction system. And of course we have skills to facilitate your basic combat character. The possibilities are endless, and the only limitation is what you can imagine and time. However it should be noted that in order to increase your skills above whatever rank you start at, you have to rp with others. When you rp you will be awarded with xp, which can be used to increase your skills and purchase silver, the ingame currency, among other uses. If you don't rp, you can't increase your skills because you will eventually run out of XP. But I assure, you won't regret rping with the wonderful people on here.

If the skills weren't good enough for you, TI: Legacy also has a massive ingame grid, with 1700+ rooms which include: A fully explorable Sewer system, many hidden rooms that can only be found through exploring, and a recently added skygrid. What is a sky grid you ask? Well it's a brand new addition added earlier this week that can allow you to fulfill your assassin's creed dreams of running across rooftops, along as your character is nimble enough. On top of the afore mentioned the game also boasts a mage exclusive grid which is called the astral realm, where your mage leaves their body to take the form of an ethereal 'animal' where they can interact with other mages and collect nodes which can increase your magical skill and teach you new rituals for evoking spells. While the ingame grid is massive, it is worth noting that it is centralized around only one city in Urth, Lithmore, the Capital City of the kingdom. This is merely so that the world does not become too big and as such prevent people from finding rp. A staff member created a map of the game, excluding player homes, the sewer system and skygrid, which should give you a rough estimate of the size of it.

Now to get into some of the more serious information. Death is Permanent in TI: Legacy. If your character dies that is the end of them, however that does not mean you don't get anything in return for their death. You will receive a xp bonus for your next character, along with an xp bonus which is based on a percentage of how much xp you spent in skills during the course of your character's life. On top of that if you feel your character's death went against policy somehow, you can request that staff look into it to make sure whether or not it was handled properly. If it turns out it wasn't, there is a chance your character can be brought back to life and the rp surrounding the death nulled. While this doesn't happen often, it does exist incase. Secondly TI:Legacy is considered a somewhat mature game, however there are options that make it safe for those who may not be comfortable with gore, graphic scenes, etc. On top of that if you are not comfortable with a scene, most players will understand if you ask to avoid those type of scenes. As I mentioned before, the community of players are very understanding and majority of them want to make sure everyone is having fun, for afterall it is a game.

The final thing I wish to bring up is that The Inquisition: Legacy is not a Pay to Play game, nor are there things that you can purchase with real money to gain a benefit in game. So you don't have to worry about Joe Schmo having the best armor in game only because he bought it for 4 easy payments of $9.99. It's an equal footing game with no way to gain a footing above your fellow player with moolah.

Phew, that went on longer than I expected, but hopefully it's convinced some of you to give the game a look. If you are interested, head on over to The Inquisition: Legacy's website, which some guides and general info into the lore of the game and also includes an in-browser way to play, or if you are like me and prefer a program to play the game, I would suggest MUSHClient, which is a free program I've been using for 3 years that is built exclusively for MUDs and MUSHs. It's also worth mentioning that TI: Legacy is Screen Reader friendly, for those who are Sight Impaired.

So yeah, go on and check it out, I promise you likely will not be disappointed. And should you have any questions about aspects of the game, I am more than happy to try and answer them as best as possible.

Edit: Comment merged into entry; please don't double comment.

So I may have given into temptation and bought the 'Myster Box' Square enix was offering, which supposedly had a random selection of 5 pc games, for $10, a deal I could not ignore even if it was random. Just opened it up and can't say I'm disappointed in the selection.

Also got a few discount/coupons for Square Enix's site, so also kind of nice. Was it worth it in the end? Meh... $10 is $10... at least they are games I would likely play.

Though on a completely unrelated note, anyone looking to buy Just Cause 3 for the PC from Square Enix? If so, do let me know.

You know it is nice when you see yourself or something you did help inspire someone else. Recently I was googling fikou, for some reason I can't remember, and I came across this page. In it someone mentions how they went to Brickfair NE and they happened to see two of my Voya nui fikou mocs I sent through bzpower for the Le-wahi display. Apparently it inspired them enough to actually build their own.

Call me simple or something else, but it is just nice to see random people appreciate such a simple moc. I mean those two are nothing fancy.

So yeah, that made brightened my day when I saw that.

(And really, who doesn't love fikou? Their so bloody adorable)

You know, sometimes it can be scary, or it can be interesting, when you search your name or nicknames on the internet. Recently I decided I would search my nickname, Voxumo, using google and I came upon this.

You will notice i highlighted the two instances of the word voxumo. After trying to translate parts of it, it turned out to be Italian and the instances where voxumo is used is referring to a city or town. It is written as though author is telling someone about how a beheading took place in the city/town of voxumo.

The actual translation is something like this
Some words were apparently unable to be translated as you can tell, but still it is interesting to see the context in which it was used. The book in which I found this can be found here, and the actual title of the book, which was published in 1653 translates to The East India business subject to the Gospel. It should be noted that trying to find a place called Voxumo, turns up no results.

So all in all, it is neat what you discover about a name one the internet sometimes, afterall I had no idea about this when i started using the name Voxumo.

You know recently I have been thinking about a certain game that was hosted a while ago, bionifight. I don't know what has spurred this sudden excitement but I am really looking forward to Voltex's sequel to his Award-winning Bionifight Ultimate game.

Perhaps I am just suffering from withdrawals?

It was sometime in 2001, I was 8 and recently gotten a new game for my Playstation; Digimon World. It would become the first game I was mad at.

While I sincerely enjoyed this game I will always remember the frustration I had with it. I could never bloody figure out to transform/evolve/etc my digimon's form. See apparently my mother bought the game pre-owned and it never came with it's instructions. Given that at the time we didn't have a computer I could just look it up on the web, nor would i likely had even known how to given I was only 8 and had never worked a computer ever. So alot of my game experience was spent having my digimon die and be reborn... again and again and again. Now somehow I was able to get it past the baby stage and to the rookie stage... but beyond that never and even then i am not really sure how i did it. I think my mind was assuming it was like pokemon where do a certain amount of stuff/training and it will evolve naturally.

To this day I wish I could find the game and just play it so that i could finally know what the heck I was doing. I did spend alot of the game fishing though. I could fish up a storm! But ask me to battle.... well I was not your man.

OOH! And for the longest time I could not freakin remember the title of the game. Only today did i rediscover it by searching 'Digimon games for the playstation 1'. So at least now I can reference it instead of looking like a complete cool dude. Still look like a partial one but at least not a complete one.

So yeah that brought up some nostalgia. First bad experience with a video game.

*ponders* I still don't know what happened to that game

Pure acetone will remove spray paint from bionicle pieces. However give or take 2004 and back pieces it will also cause the soft plastic to literally dissolve.

Spray-painted a bunch of masks and other pieces a long time ago.. about 2011. Been trying to figure out what I could use to remove the spray paint. Tried many things including bleach but surprisingly 100% acetone will remove it with a bit of elbow grease. It is kind of neat for the spray paint actually like shrivels up and then it just kind of slides off.

So yeah little fun fact for you folks. Oh and 2005 on pieces it does not seem to ruin the actual plastic.
