  1. IC: Norvak Marshell The Turaga Stood there, waiting for a response from his neighbor. He had not expected the response that was given. He laughed at the Turage, as if he was some sort of joke. Nothing had infuriated him so much since the fire. "You arrogant little..." The Turaga walked out of his work shop, intending to give his neighbor a piece of his mind.Huh... If only the others could see me now. An old man fighting the forces of noisy neighbors. They would all get a big chuckle out of this. Norvak began drawing closer to Mayixa, and began to get on the Toa for his disrespect. "I may be old, but that doesn't..." And then he hit a patch of ice. A thud sounded out along with a few groans from the Turaga.
  2. IC: Norvak Marshell Norvak was in a dimly lit room, puppets hanging from the roof and a large number of assorted toys lining the shelves. In this room the Turaga sat at a desk, painting a miniature Ussal with wheels. His hand trembled as he tried to paint all of the little details like some of his former pieces had. He had almost finished, just one more touch... And then he heard it. His hand slipped as he was startled by the noise, thus demanding that the whole head be repainted. His neighbor was going on about seeing some sort of... thing. It was bad enough before all of this, but now his neighbor was trying the Turaga's patience. "If he keeps this up I'll never get anymore customers." Norvak mumbled to himself as he rose from his chair. He walked to his door and opened it, staring out into the street. "Will you please stop that, or at least take it somewhere else!? Truly, you're driving away customers faster then those new gizmos!"
  3. IC: Barthel Deliresi I sat at a little one man table a slight distance away from the rest of the team. Even after we had been working together for a while, I still didn't feel comfortable around the majority of them. As the food was placed before me I took a glance down at it. A simple salad and a sloppily made sandwich. I grabbed my glass and took a swig before starting upon my meal. My mind roamed back to the team. Fate had been strangely kind to me since I joined them. Either this was a sign that Fate was making up for all the suffering it had put me through, or it was trying to give me a false sense of safety before something horrible. I took another swig to clear my mind. Ah, alcohol, a troubled man's best friend. I then heard a noise and looked up. What I saw made me question if I was drunk yet or not. Geklan sat in a large chair that was obviously not supposed to be here. I just rubbed my eyes, and took another drink.
  4. Name: Barthel Deliresi (Chastity/Envy) Species: Toa Gender: Male Alignment: Whatever keeps him alive/Toa Sarsi Occupation: A thief, skilled in escaping and (in the almost nonexistence chance he finds one) picking locks (of one specific type. Otherwise he doesn’t know what to listen for.). Member of the Toa Sarsi. Appearance: His armor is primarily a pale green with Silver as a secondary color. He has long and narrow indented slants going along his upper body and upper arms. He wears long brown trench coat type clothing over his armor, the inside of which is lined with a multitude of pockets (ranging in size from where almost only a hand could fit inside to one half the length of a forearm and almost as wide). His mask is the same light green as his armor, with the slants colored silver. His eyes are a Pale blue. He wears glasses over his mask (the glass of which has been removed, making them useless. He wears them as he thinks it makes him look sophisticated.) Mask: A Mask of Sensory Aptitude, slick and oval shaped with long and narrow indented slants periodically under the eyes and a tri-pronged crest on the forehead. Powers: Elemental Iron, which he mostly uses to control his chakrams and fix his armor if it gets damaged. Other: He has a multitude of psychological disorders, having Gynophobia, Haphephobia, and Kleptomania. He had some knowledge of how to play a flute, though he hasn’t played one in years (as he deemed it an unnecessary skill for a thief). He has a book which he carries with him always (He refuses to disclose any information about its contents). Weapons: Four metal chakrams which he retrieves and controls with his power. Personality: He’s had his phobias since long before he became a Toa, causing him to have no remaining memories of before he could not properly interact with others. This has led him to be jealous of, and partially spiteful to, those who can live a normal life. He has tried to overcome his phobias many a time. These constant failures have started to wear down his resolve and make him question if he can overcome his situation. Despite this he still keeps trying to claim for himself the normality others take for granted. One principle he holds is to (almost) always tell the truth (he will avoid questions though). He has some trouble making friends and getting along with others. Biography: His history before his phobias is an ever-changing back story that never remains the same for more than a few days. After his phobias showed up he first tried to overcome them, but this ended with failure and a near death experience through a heart attack (he’s not that bad anymore). After other attempts (all failures, but none as bad as the first) he decided to become a hermit (this lasted a full two weeks before the alcohol he had traded all his worldly possessions for ran out). After his triumphant (to him anyway) return from living as a hermit he realized he didn't have a widget to his name (as mentioned before he traded it all for alcohol). So he decided on a quick route to making money (A.K.A. sating his Kleptomania through robbery). After a few successful attempts in Ta-Koro he decided to go after a bigger (and well-guarded) target (he failed, miserably). After spending some time in the slammer he returned to his thieving way of life. Even after becoming a Toa (the events of which are another ever-changing piece of back story) he was still powerless against his own fears. Weakness: He has Gynophobia (the fear of women) which can cripple him in a fight. He also has Haphephobia (the fear of being touched) causing him to shy away from any involvement in close range fighting. He lacks any skill in close range fighting, and as such is open to melee attacks. Name: Norvak Marshell Species: Turaga Gender: Male Alignment: None Occupation: Toy maker (Wooden dolls, marionettes, pull along Ussals, Recreation Rahi (Think Hobby Horse), etc.) Appearance: A short (for Turaga), weary looking, Turaga whose dark crimson and pale grey armor has nicks and scratches he never had fixed, alluding to the life he used to live. His armor juts out slightly above his shoulders, as well as off his knees. Part of the reason for his small stature comes from a slight hunch he has acquired. His Kanohi is partially cube shaped, becoming more rounded inwards on the sides and top, with extruding bumps starting above the eyes, curving around them to the outer edges of his face, and continuing downwards. His Kanohi also has scratches and other such telltale signs of his former lifestyle. His eyes are a dark purple, however his left eye shines less brightly. Mask: A Kanohi Iden, which is the same dark crimson as his armor. Powers: Elemental Sonics, which he uses for imitating the sounds of Rahi and the voices of others Other: He is capable of creating a number of toys and other such wooden products. He carries the tools of his trade with him almost always, such as carving tools, paints, brushes, strings, and other such objects. Weapons: He carries a scythe built to accommodate his stature. Personality: Previously Norvak had an adventurous attitude, never turning away from danger and always enjoying the company of his friends. He has mellowed with age and now lives a quiet life in Ko–Koro. Unlike in his youth he now has few friends and spends most of his time on his work. One of Norvak’s few joys in the world now, besides finishing his masterpieces, is the look of joy some of his customers get on their face when seeing his finished projects. He will attempt to help others when asked, as he enjoys the feeling of usefulness it gives him. Biography: In his youth Norvak was the leader of a Toa team that would charge danger head on. He was good friends with all of the other members and they spent all of their time together. However, after one mission only two members returned. Norvak blamed himself for the deaths of his friends, and became much grimmer after that. As he and the only other survivor slowly grew apart he felt as if he was isolated from everyone else and as if he could never connect with anyone else again. He first started building toys as a way to keep his mind off of what was taking place in the world around him. Somewhere along the line he became a Turaga, further separating him from his former life. After the only other remaining member died he set out on a project unlike any he had done before. He began work on life size wooden statues of all his former allies, which he planned to then paint. Upon the day when he finished carving the last one he decided to retire for the night and paint it the next day. That night his workshop caught fire under unknown circumstances. Later he acquired a new work shop and set to the task again. However, as of late he has found his hands not responding as well as they use to. This not only complicates his everyday life, but also makes his job more difficult because of the intricate work some products, and the statues, need. Weakness: He has not partaken in combat for an extended period of time, his element and mask powers are weakened from being a Turaga, he is beginning to show signs of Arthritis.
  5. IC: Bulblin"No thank you, I think I memorized everything of importance." I responded to the trainer with an unseen smile.
  6. IC: BulblinI intently listened to the trainer speak, trying to remember each and every word spoken. I thought it was kind of the trainer to not have been reading the instructions at a fast pace, giving me more time to memorize them.
  7. IC: Bulblin"I do not know how to read. Sorry if that is an inconven..." I was struggling with a more complex word before giving up. "problem."IC: Chran VongorI stared at the Deku Scrub, surprised that he had never seen a Goron before. "I am a Goron, and Don's species's name is not a 'fishguy', he's a Zora." I explained to Paprad. I was wondering why he didn't seem to know of any other species beside Dekus. I hoped he knew of the other inhabitants of the forest.
  8. IC: Bulblin"I don't know the proper way to wield a sword, but I can try." I responded. The combat test the trainer had mentioned came to mind. I wondered how well I would do with my more defensive fighting style.IC: Chran Vongor"Nice to meet you. Shall we be going?" A nut hit my foot. I didn't know if the Deku Scrub had done it on purpose or not, but I wasn't happy about it either way. "I told you, my name is Chran Vongor." I replied to Paprad.
  9. IC: BulblinI followed the guards to meet the trainer, and when we arrived listened to the trainer speak. "I don't own a sword, but I brought my club." I responded to the question. I had hoped that my not owning a sword wouldn't be a problem.IC: Chran Vongor"Either we both got bad maps, or Hyrule needs better mapmakers." I said with a slight chuckle. Suddenly the Deku Scrub was acting differently, must have had a change of heart. "My name is Chran Vongor." I said as I reached down to shake the Deku Scrub's hand.
  10. IC: BulblinThe fact that I would get a map was a relief to me. I prepared to follow them to the trainer.IC: Chran VongorApparently they either didn't hear my question or didn't care. Oh well, I decided I'd ask them again when we got to the Great Deku Tree. "Sure, I'll come. I was heading there already, but my map doesn't have many details of what's in the woods." I then looked down at the Deku Scrub who was spitting out foul language like nuts. "I didn't even touch you. And stop with that type of language."
  11. IC: Bulblin"I have trouble pronouncing words with more than three syllables in them, but I have an easier time with words that have two or one." I replied to the question, thinking how strange I must seem right now.IC: Chran VongorI started rolling through the woods to pick up speed, but soon I saw a Zora so I decided to stop and ask for directions. As I slowed down to stop, I almost rolled over a Deku Scrub. Gonna have to watch out for them, I didn't know they were that small. "Hello. Do either of you know your way around the woods?" I asked, still intending to see the Great Deku Tree. It would just be nice to know where to go from there.
  12. IC: Bulblin"No, I don't mind. I've had training before, so if this is anything like it was I should have no problem." I stated before realizing my mistake. If they ask about my training and I say it was to be a soldier for Ganon... that probably wouldn't go over well I thought.
  13. IC: Bulblin"Yes, I would like to become a knight." I replied to the question. "What do I have to do to become a knight?"
  14. IC: BulblinI followed the guards, looking around as I walked. I thought that if they didn't have a map of this place for me to use I would most likely get lost. When we got to the room of registration I looked around, still taking in my surroundings.
  15. IC: BulblinThe guards couldn't see it, but a large smile came across my face. After I placed my Bullbo in a stable I hurried back to the guards. I hoped my Bullbo would be alright.
  16. IC: Bulblin"I want to become a knight." I replied to the guards. "Who should I speak with to become one?" I was anxious, hundreds of thoughts raced through my mind. I wondered if I would finally be accepted into their culture, and if not, where I would go from there.
  17. IC: Chran VongorI looked at my outdated map, but it didn't have many details of what was inside Faron Woods. I started walking in the relative direction of where the map showed the Great Deku Tree as being. Why I started with the Great Deku Tree, it was the only place in Faron Woods with enough detail on the map that I'd be able to find it. I hoped there would be someone who knew their way around this forest there.IC: BulblinAs I approached the drawbridge to the castle I gave my Bullbo another kick, and we started across. I rode up to the entrance to the castle, and stopped. Should I open the door, was I supposed to wait for someone inside to do so, or maybe they just weren't going to let me in. I sat on my Bullbo and pondered this.
  18. IC: BulblinMy mind raced, trying to figure out where to go in this strange environment. Knights guard castles, royalty knights each knight, and royalty live in castles, so the castle seemed to be a good place to start. But do they let commoners into the castle? I guessed I'd find out when I got there. I gave my Bullbo a slight kick to the side to get him moving at a reasonable pace for moving through a town. I got some strange looks as my Bullbo trotted towards the castle.
  19. IC: Chran VongorI stopped rolling and looked upon the huge number of trees before me. I had finally reached Faron Woods. "Now, where to start?" I asked my self as I gazed upon the first stop in my journey. I didn't expect to find anything to make me stronger in Faron Woods, just some places to relax, and talking shrubbery.IC: Bulblin"Hello! Don't shoot!" I shouted as best I could to any guards within earshot. I didn't want an arrow sticking out of the back of my head, or anywhere in me for that matter. I rode my bullbo strait across the draw bridge and into Castle Town. I was getting ready to head for wherever they recruit new knights, but the thought crossed my mind that, as this was my first time in Castle Town, I had no clue of which way to go. The temple I grew up in was less of a maze than this.OOC: This is assuming the draw bridge is down and the gate is open. If not I shall just go back and change my post.
  20. OOC: And since Gorons have races in Majora's Mask it seems they should be able to see while rolling, or they would have to memorize the whole course. Is it alright if I have Chran arrive in Faron woods soon and act like he left earlier than I posted?IC: Chran VongorI stopped to eat a few rocks I found, but their taste didn't even compare to the ones from Death Mountain. I suppose I should have brought lunch, but if I tried to take many of my possessions I couldn't have rolled here and made such good time. But oh how I longed for the taste of rocks from Death Mountain. I tried to take my mind off of Death Mountain, and focus on my trip to see most of Hyrule. I finished my meal and started back on the path to Faron Woods.IC: BulblinI was close to the gate now, and no one had stopped me yet. Two possibilities came to mind, they hadn't seen me yet, or they didn't care that I was a Bulblin. Hopefully it was the second. I rode my Bullbo closer to the gate, not dismounting.OOC: Is the gate open or closed? And what leads up to the gate? Is it a bridge, a drawbridge, or something else? I've only seen it in Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Spirit Tracks, and I doubt the entrance is by train.
  21. IC: Chran VongorI kept up a high pace toward Faron Woods, hoping to get there with enough time to relax and find a place to stay for the night. Although with the pitiful amount of Rupees I have, from being out of work for a while, I might end up sleeping under the trees.OOC: Something I've been wondering is if a Goron can see while rolling?
  22. Characters pre-approved by Blade.Username: Te3eCharacter Name: Chran VongorGender: MaleAge: 20Race: GoronDefault Equipment: None.Bio: When I was a kid I always watched the sumo wrestling matches, hoping to one day be the best wrestler among the Goron. But those were the foolish dreams of a child.I worked in the mines for a while, but it never caught my fancy. My childhood dreams came back to me, and after a few fights with no losses I began to think I couldn't lose. Then reality came back hard, as I lost match after match. I realized the one thing I loved, I still failed at.I left Death Mountain hoping a trip to some of the other regions of Hyrule would take my mind off of my loses, and that I might become stronger on my journey.Faction: NeutralCharacter Description: He looks like the basic gorons from Twilight Princess except with sideburns and dark blue eyes.Username: Te3eCharacter Name: Has no name in HylianGender: MaleAge: 17Race: BulblinDefault Equipment: A club.Bio: I've never done anything evil in my life. I've helped in an attack on a farm before, stolen rocks from a baby Goron, kicked some young Deku Scrub, tried to freeze a Zora, and broke a stain glass window of the princess, but nothing evil.I killed a Skullwalltula, by crushing it with my club a few times, when I was five. I was scolded for killing it, but I didn't know why. I started training to become a warrior for the great lord Ganon while I was still young, my parents having forced me into it. As I became stronger I trained with a Darknut of whom I forget the name. At that stage in my life my sole goal was to beat that Darknut in a fight. I never succeeded.Since I was young I secretly tried to learn to speak Hylian, though I have nevver been able to fully understand their way of speaking. After the defeat of lord Ganon I left my training and set out to find what I wanted to be. At most of the places I tried to find work I was chased out because I'm a Bulblin. Me and my Bullbo couldn't even find work at a ranch. Now that The Knights of Hyrule are recruiting I'm traveling to Castle Town to see if they will except me into their ranks.Faction: Neutral, trying to become a member of The Knights of Hyrule.Character Description: Just your basic Bulblin.Mount: BullboIC: Chran VongorI stood at the bottom of Death Mountain, looking at an outdated map of Hyrule that I had purchased. My choice of where to visit first was an easy one. I wanted to start my journey by going some where peaceful, making Castle Town low on the list. I would prefer to stay somewhere at least relatively warm, excluding going north from my choices. Lake Hylia seemed like a viable option until the thought came to mind that I can't swim. I planed on visiting Kakariko Village last, as it is close to Death Mountain and would be a nice place to stop before going home. Split between the choices of the Gerudo Desert and Faron Woods, I decided to make a circular trip around Hyrule, starting with Faron Woods. I rolled up, and started in the direction of Faron Woods.IC: BulblinI rode toward Castle Town, my Bullbo charging as fast as it could. I could see Castle Town and Hyrule Castle in the distance. A thought crossed my mind as I grew ever closer to my goal. What if they don't let me into Castle Town, or even try to kill me? I tried to push the thought to the back of my head as we approached the entrance to the town. This place could be the land of my dreams, or the place that I die.
  23. I suggest a museum with relics from the Core War and maybe earlier. If we do chariot races then maybe they could have thornax launchers attached to them, but shooting the driver or Rahi is prohibited. You could still try to shoot the wheels off of the other competitors chariot, and shooting the side of it to hit the enemy with shrapnel would be okay. And on a side note: since the Brakas make Rahi they could sponsor the races.
  24. I would like to join in on both if there is still room.
  25. Wow, you're all planing ahead. I've only made Lashon. One thing I'm thinking about doing is, since Pyrrhon is making Virthee into Moros, making Tethrah into either Thanatos or Momus, as they are both Moros' siblings. What have you done to Kyrack?
