Lol. Well one guy on the internetz calls it a noob combo. Anyways you hit an Elite with a charged plasma pistol, then go crazy with BR head shots(and I call it a battle rifle, I dun care what it's known as now).

I wouldn't say the ending was particularly sad, maybe because I knew what was coming. It was just sorta one of those games that makes you wanna go replay an older game...in this case that game being Halo 1.

It is. I personally recommend using a plasma pistol/battle rifle combo for the later levels, but you can go with whatever you like.

The game is really sad, of course. I wun spoil anything, but it seems like the ending was...well...I dunno. Even if it is just a video game, it seems like....owell I can't spoil it.

But by that time, they would be prepared. Plus, halsey works with the office of naval intelligence. It's their job to know stuff.Plus, considering how the invasion went from small skirmishes to a planet-wide battle, I think she was right...

Does it matter how prepared they were? They had 60% of the UNSC fleet with them and they still got their butts kicked...horribly too. The Covenant army at this point is like WAY BIG and the UNSC is like not.

Anyways, I still have trouble believing that, regardless of how much Catherine Hasley knows about Spartans or Master Chief or the original Spartans or blah blah blah more book stuff, that the Covenant would have stopped the invasion. Delayed? Maybe. But there's no way in heck that the Covenant would have stopped the invasion just cause a few Elites die.

Remember: "When 10 Elites aren't enough to do the job, send in 20."

That said, MT disapproves of video game arguments. I think both Okami and Halo are great. Why does it always have to be one or the other?

Also MT, you've still got a while to go before you fly your Sabre. Have fun on... what difficulty?

1st, they are health bars, not energy bars. Next, It's carter who makes the call, Kat who fixes the radio. Also, the health bar is at the top of the screen.

I've always called them energy bars, even in the old Halos. 2nd, yes, Carter made the call, and Kat who fixed the radio, though I think she hotwired it more than anything.

I know who Hasley is from the books. I seriously doubt though that the Covenant would have called off the entire invasion because some Zealots didn't make it back alive.

Dunno. Maybe he found this video game where these incredibly advanced aliens attack a bunch of humans on this one planet and there's this group of soldiers trying to defend it and they go into space and stuff.

Didn't like this as much as Corruption, but still definitely a great game. One of the top 10 Wii games, and I expect it to be the 2nd best game of the year behind Reach.

Well, I'm always used to (especially in the Prime series) jumping to get out of the way. So this whole Ryu type move is a little disorienting.

Then again, Ridley kinda makes you used to the sense move. I'm a lot better with it now than I was two days ago.

Yeah, I have, not too great at it either. The reason I died so much in sector 3 is that I'm not used to the camera angle, so it's kinda hard to see when to jump. That and the fact that I'm really bad at outrunning lava.

It's sucked so far for me because it seems like every single teacher is incredibly mean. I'm doing ok grade-wise, but this year is looking like it's going to be an incredible amount of anti-fun.

That and the dumb part where you had to run away from the stupid shrimp thing that kept jumping out of the lava to eat you, while avoiding the lava, while losing energy cause Adam won't fricking authorize anything until I die at least 3 times. And then there's the Goyagma, which ate me on several occasions cause Samus wouldn't go into morph ball, and then killed me again when I finally got a chance to fight it(but got it's head blasted off afterwards).

And Ridley's still somewhere to be found here I hear. But "that's about it."

Heading back to a meeting with the other soldiers supposedly. Just beat some weird wood monster that flipped upside down on multiple occasions. I got my butt handed to me by that stupid bomb guardian thingy before I figured out what to do.

EDIT: I think I have it figured out, courtesy of those nonsensical screens you showed me before. The white bunny thing molted into the big hugging purple monster that killed Lyle(which explains the molted shell), which will then molt into (a?) Ridley. Amirite?

If so, Samus deserves to be slapped for not killing it earlier.

You've been the only person I've ever known to never bash another gaming series.

Anyways, I picked up Other M today at the stores, and it's freaking epic. My only complaint so far is there's these parts where you can't switch out of first person, and you have to stand there and search for like 15 minutes to find some stupid thing, such as a velociraptor-toothed bunny(what the heck is that thing). Other than that, it's good.
