  1. Matoro. I don't dislike the character, I just don't care for him. I also don't care for Onewa (his 'tude never helped anybody), who as far as I'm aware of doesn't have as big of a fanbase.
  2. Wow, spot on! I could picture that at a convention!
  3. Thanks! Funny thing is, I almost didn't use the 01 head. I was going to use this gray skull piece. I'm glad I used the 01 head instead.
  4. Thanks! I actually thought about Hapori Tohu when I gave him the gEars. The tooth-hole is just an added cartoony element.
  5. Ahoy me mateys! Happy Talk like arr Pirate Day! This scallywag be surprised by LEGO's announcement of BIARRNICLE 2015! Har har har!
  6. WOOOO! If it is a reboot, I hope they'll do away with gender-specific Elements, so a female Toa of Fire or Ice would be officially canonically possible. I have a feeling it is set in the same "universe", but prepared for a new audience. A re-introduction, as opposed to a reboot.
  7. I'm bringing this to BrickFair VA 2014: First, ze world. Zen, ze galaxy. Zen, ZE UNIVERSE! MUAHAHAHAHA!
  8. Nuparu, Hafu and Midak. Nuparu, as either a Matoran or as a Toa, to test his STEM knowledge. I also would want to help him build things. Hafu, because I'd like to take his carving lessons. I'd also want to bring two buckets of LEGO bricks with me, and challenge him to a LEGO building competition. Midak, because I'd like to give him a pair of sunglasses so he could enjoy light even more.
  9. My least favorite years in terms of story were 2005 and 2007. Both stories were quests that had been extended, and seemed like 'filler' to me. My least favorite year in terms of figures was 2008. It was great to see the Toa Mata back in the spotlight, but their figures were a little too gray for my tastes.
  10. If there were to ever be a Bionicle MMORPG of some kind, would the monogenderness of the Elements (except Light) be an issue? As in, would it have to be retconned? Let's say a Bionicle MMORPG rolls out, and gamers unfamiliar with Bionicle try it out. They reach the character creation stage. They see that as either a Toa or a Matoran, every Element only consists of the male gender except for four. Of those four, only one Element gives you the option to play as either a male or a female (Light). Many gamers wouldn't mind this, but several will think this is nonsensical. They want to be able to play as a female Toa of Fire or a male Ga-Matoran. They are used to maximum character creation possibilites. This wouldn't be an issue if only Glatorian and Agori are playable. However, the elemental powers of the Toa and the masks they use is kind of the core of Bionicle.
  11. If they ARE bringing Bionicle back, I wonder if it would be a continuation (set on Spherus Magna) or a Reboot? The fact that they are starting with the Toa Mata and calling each of them "Masters" gives me a Reboot feeling.
  12. Something with brick-by-brick building as a core feature of gameplay. The testers and target-audience of this game should be people who enjoy building with LEGO bricks.A LEGO Star Wars game in which the main character is created and customized by the player. The player may choose one of several professions for their character: Jedi (can use Lightsabers and the Force), Smuggler (can hack terminals and bribe guards), and Trooper (can use various ranged weapons and grenades). The player can also customize the Starship of their character.A BIONICLE game, if BIONICLE is fated to return to shelves. Preferably one with maximum amounts of character customization. The main character is the player's own fully-customizable Toa. Using the various Masks of Power is an aspect of gameplay. If there is online multiplayer, players could battle as a six-person Toa Team.A LEGO Racers game with online multiplayer and fully customizable cars. Children encountering visually inappropriate racecars wouldn't be an issue, because there is is only so much you could build on a chassis before it reaches suggestive territory. My wishful-thinking dream LEGO game features: A dynamic and expansive open world. The option to build vehicles, buildings and creatures brick-by-brick.Alternatively, the option to load LXF files into the game. The ability to switch between third-person and first-person on a whim.Online multiplayer.Team-based PVP featuring brick-built creations, if there is online multiplayer. Just imagine using a custom built mech to attack another player's custom built fortress!
  13. Yeah, it would be nice to get some new LEGO video games that don't follow the LSW-styled template, like a maybe a third LEGO Racers or a LEGO Creator sequal with more action-oriented elements. However, LEGO probably wouldn't make those dream games until their LSW-styled games stop selling well. Fortunately, an improvement in the template is made for every LSW-styled game released, so the LSW-styled template is evolving rather than every game being an absolute reskin on LSW.
  14. What this probably means is if the circumstances were right, LEGO could continue Bionicle or reboot it, but they wouldn't otherwise. I don't think anyone should expect Bionicle to come back anytime soon, however, we should acknowledge that a Bionicle continuation or reboot isn't impossible.
  15. I think a Hero Factory movie could be rated PG and still appeal to older audiences. There could be plenty of violence without any worries of reprecussion because the heroes would be robots, and robots don't bleed. Most of the projectiles in Hero Factory are laser-based, so bullets are out of the equation. As far as any human-versus-robot-villain violence goes, if there will be any, the villains could use a device to imprison any humans they encounter instead of killing them. The only two things left needed to keep older moviegoers in their seats is to have a good plot and the absence of cheesey jokes that don't have double meanings.
  16. I'm sure they would use motion capture and CGI for the heroes. A scene showing a Human person being created in a factory part-by-part would be an awkward thing to see, not to mention it would go against the clear canon that robots are the heroes. ;)I suppose cheesiness would be a given because it would be a kids movie, but hopefully it wouldn't be overwhelming.
