    Other Titles: Join A Battle Leave A Battle

    So; was just randomly going from match to match on Goldeneye, partially because I've also been refreshing BZP and such. However, just now, I got into a match of Heroes, and just as I was about to get into the match, the host quit.

    Looks like this host... *Puts on sunglasses* Couldn't handle the awesome party.

    YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH! ... Okay, okay, maybe not the best one ever, but hey, I had trouble thinking up stuff related to host. =P

    Only need two more levels to unlock the final mode of the online portion of Goldeneye. That'll take a while; as it took me like three days to get to level 33. ._.;

    Other Titles: And Yet Another New Category

    So... I finished Inheritance today. I should have had it done back around when Skyward Sword was released. ... But, well, that explains everything, doesn't it? =P

    The ending wasn't bad, but, I must admit, it was a little sad, in a way. I so called that one thing that happened, however. xD

    I'll keep this free of spoilers, because it's something people should read for themselves.

    Other Titles: No Snooze Button Here

    So, if anyone's been looking at the COT RPG Planning Topic in the last day or so, you'll see that I've expressed interest in making a Zelda RPG here.

    Well, I've got a Co-host, I believe I have most of the RPG's first post ready, and I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.

    So, that means that anyone who wishes to have a Zelda RPG here should keep an eye on the planning topic soon, as it should be up by the end of tonight, and provided everyone thinks it looks good, it'll be in the Request topic by the end of tomorrow. =D
  4. Blessed Blade
    Alternate Title: Echoes Are Good Too

    So, uh, anyone here still play Phantom Hourglass?

    And, uh, for that matter, anyone play the online mode of Phantom Hourglass? xD I was thinking of going on the online mode, or even starting a new file to try and complete that, but, well, it's not exactly something I should try, if no-one plays online, as that's pretty much one of the only ways to get some things that you need for 100% on PH. =/
  5. Blessed Blade
    Other Titles: Well Not Really

    So, I'm getting near the end of Minish Cap. Unfortunate, yes, but I still have stuff to do afterward anyway. =P

    Which leads into the main reason for this. Nintendo. If you're going to give a reward for all 136 figurines, make sure people can't get into the place that gives said reward with only 130 figurines. xD I have all 20 Hearts before the end of the game because of this reason. I'm not complaining, I'm just finding this hilarious. xD
  6. Blessed Blade
    Other Titles: Fusion... Ha!

    I'm honestly surprised at it's length, now that I'm playing it again. xD

    Most of this is all because of the Kinstone Fusions, of course. =P ... And that Cucco catching minigame that could stay as far away from this game as possible.

    But really, I've just finished the fourth dungeon, and given how much is left after this, I'm both impressed by the length, and saddened that my first file on the ambassador game is nearly done. xD ... Though, that's only one file on one game. I still have the rest to complete. ._.'

    The side-stuff in this is really hard to keep track of, however, especially when you have like 140+ things to find in total, between the Heart Pieces and Kinstone fusions, and the upgrades, and everything. xD

    Other Titles: Giant Magnet Of Doom!, I Hate Antlions

    So. To continue my Half Life 2 spree, I've made my way to Highway 17. All's been fine so far, aside from dying to Antlions. The Rocket Launcher fight was pretty cool. Then I make my way to the bridge. AWESOME UBER MAGNET OF DEATH!! I believe this is one of the first times I've been able to drop a CRATE on an enemy! Yes, you heard that right, you can drop one of those shipping crates onto a Combine soldier. Flattening isn't the word there. =P(You can also smash the crate into the soldier, but that's not as fun. =P)

    So, yeah, I make my way through the place, bulldozing my way. I realize I do need to bring the vehicle up, so I go and do stuff to get it there. However, and take note of this, how the heck can an Antlion get from the sand covered ground to the base of the magnet crane!? 0_o I had to fight off three of them, three, at the base of the crane. That was just really weird. 0_o And really startled me, because while I expected them on the ground, they shouldn't have gotten onto the crane...

    Other Titles: Fast Headcrab Zombies Are Fast

    So, yeah, been moving through Ravenholm at a very fast speed. About as fast as those agile headcrab zombies move, which is, to say, very fast. I mean, I was hearing about how they were fast, but I honestly didn't expect them to be that fast, a pleasant surprise.

    My first reactions when I saw the first one. "Oh, look at that, that must be one of those quick zombies from the way it's jumping. *Readies brick*"

    Next moment?

    "AAAAAAAAH MY FACE!!"

    I died in the weird section with that whirling blade. A lot. Was stuck there for a while until I realized that a part of that balcony? Yeah, that was a switch. You pull that to make things happen. Yeah.

    On the bright side, when I got to the graveyard, I blew myself up like 5 times trying to fling an explosive barrel... It's red and has an explosive symbol on the side for a reason, people. Those things hurt when they blow up.
  9. Blessed Blade
    Other Titles: Oh Those Things Again

    If no one knows what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the part where the spinning metal bot thingies fly at you trying to kill you, while the Combine fire at you from the other end of the hallway. I think it's close to the end of the canal place, and after you get past that fence near the spinning water wheel. Then again, I thought I was close to the end of the area for a while, so take that with a grain of salt, or, rather, the whole salt-shaker if you wish. =P

    The main problem here, is that I only have like 30 health(I'm going into it past the checkpoint at 6 health, so it's whatever that health pickup gives me. =P), and I'm basically trying to outlast the Combine's shots. =P And, well, they broke out the machine guns. Which doesn't help things for me. =P

    I still stand by my thought that this is one of the harder games I've played; I don't recall many others that hand me a death every other second. =P ... In fact, it just confirmed that. While I was quickly waiting for someone to post an entry so it didn't seem like I was 'double posting' an entry on purpose, the game handed me three more deaths. Same area. xD

    UPDATE! While the board was giving a board message, I passed the area, finally. Now I'm in a water area, and hopefully nearing the end of the canals. =)

    Other Titles: Don't Worry - More Half Life Soon

    I might have mentioned this, but I know I haven't mentioned this in my Blog. I now have Tetris Axis, and yes, I know, my blog sidebar really needs to be updated(Might do that next week or after Christmas). However, that doesn't matter. The main thing is that I have the game. It's very good, and the online is awesome, though I've been neglecting it only because I got it like a week before Skyward Sword released, and then got to playing an Xbox, and... Yeah. Things have just been hectic gaming-wise. =P

    Dunno if anyone else here has the game, but I'm mentioning it anyway, and I'm up for a match if anyone wants to play me. I'm not the worst, however. =P(Haven't been doing the greatest online, but that's mostly because I'm not used to the battle mode yet. =P)

    Other Titles: Maybe A Real Life Burnout...

    So, computers getting built into cars. Might be good, more likely to be bad. I'm especially leaning to the 'bad' point, since I've been playing Burnout recently. And anyone who's played that knows that Burnout = Massive awesome crashes. So, yeah.

    And on that note, Burnout 3 is awesome. Been playing it a lot recently, and I've unlocked a good portion of the game already. =P
  12. Blessed Blade
    Amazingly, no alternative titles for once. Though "Amazing Game of Epicness" certainly would be a good equivalent. =P

    So; I got the Limited Edition Bundle on Sunday. Played it for an hour or two, but had to do something else IRL. Played for a little bit that night, got a little further.

    Then... Well... MARATHON!! =P Not a non-stop one, obviously, but from then on, I continued playing, and still haven't finished it. 50 hours in, and I still haven't beaten the game. I'm likely starting to get near the end-game; but really, I have my suspicions that there's still a ton more stuff that I still have yet to do.

    Although I've got that Spoiler warning in the title, I'm gonna use tags just to be on the safe side, as I don't want others to be spoiled; especially not with this awesome game.

    I'm not gonna do a 'log' of sorts... This playthrough, at least. Maybe on the next one, as it's way too late into the playthrough for me to start now. =P

    I must say once again, however, that this is one amazing game. And that Skyloft is awesome. Memorized it's layout on like the second day. It surprises me how quickly I achieved that with no mini-map at my disposal. =)

    Other titles: Misadventures In Linux, And Another Kernel Bites The Dust, Synaptic Needs To Be Default, Alright Who Activated The Virtualizer?

    So... Been messing around with virtual machines since the weekend, which admittedly is partly why I haven't been here during the day since then. =P Lemme just tell you what I've been doing. =P

    Ubuntu:
    Saturday: VMware Player's installed, yep, downloaded Ubuntu 11.10, yep. Installing... Two hours later, it finished. After a reboot or two, I decided I'd install the tools so that I could do things. That's when the trouble started. =P I haven't used Linux in like a year, so, well, I kinda forgot some of the commands. >>; So, I had to use help and man like 100 times before I could figure out how to un-tar the package. Eventually, I decided to un-tar it to the main directory, and then it worked(After, I finally figured out the command to do that. =P). And then I couldn't figure out how to activate them. ; However, after about half an hour, I figured out how to activate it, after trying multiple other things. It never dawned on me at first to simply type the name. =P 'course, it wanted Super User, but... Didn't I just say, sudo fixes everything? =P So finally it all worked.

    Since it was late, I decided to just leave it, and try and download the game thing I had wanted. And boy is that Ubuntu Software Centre awful. ; It takes like a minute or two to open with 384 MB RAM(Since I can't really spare much more than that, given I have to support my main OS as well), and then you have to go into different categories in the software thing, to find what you want. And then it's not even in alphabetical order. >_^ So, I finally track down the game, which was luckily in Role Playing this time(It wasn't even there back in 10.04). Install it. About 10 minutes later, since the thing's slow to install, I finally get that Software Centre closed. Go to the dash, which is really hard to navigate until you figure out the tricks to finding everything, and load the game up. Yeah, that's the next problem I had; it just continually froze on me. Of course, at that point, I hadn't found the Software Monitor, so I could only close it by logging out. Uninstalled it, and decided to just tyr again the next day.

    Sunday: Oh boy. So, I got up, went back on the VM, everything worked perfectly. Then I decided to try Konquest, since it'd been a few years since I played that last. It installed fine, no problems. Launched fine. However, it ate up CPU at times as well, which, given the constant Unity panel it uses as the dash thingy on the side, wasn't really helpful, and it did freeze up a time or two, but overall worked. But then I tried that new media player they put on... Banshee I think it is? That took like 2 minutes to load when Konquest was open, and I didn't try after. However, when I tried to play a song, it was 'playing' it... But, you could tell it was having trouble playing it, since you only got like seconds of song compared to 30 seconds of dead air. =/ So, I closed that, went through part of a game of Konquest, but I had set the place to be way too open, so it was taking too long. Tried a second game, and epic failed as I lost in like the 10th round, and it then froze permanently on me. 0_o I decided to close that then, and try other things.

    That's when I headed back to that other game, again. Tried to download it again, and once again it worked perfectly downloading and installing. But actually running it? Nope. Epic failed once again. It's like it couldn't read the server list correctly or something... Though it might be related to the theme it was using... I've had a few problems in it freezing on other versions of it when I change it's theme to be one that's not epic fail. So, I closed that, and tried again multiple times. Same result. I even tried to download one of the other versions that I was almost certain would work; but it wouldn't even configure so I could compile it. xD That's when I uninstalled it. Unlike the night before, which had given me tons of trouble since the Software Centre's uninstallation tool is very hard to work with, it actually uninstalled properly. So, I checked to make sure I even had GTK. I seemed to, but again, the Software Centre is fail, especially with finding stuff. So it wasn't really much help. However, in searching for that, I finally found the Synaptic Package Manager, and installed that without a second's hesitation. Once it was installed, and I launched it, I found the GTK stuff near-instantly. =P Tried to install the game through that as well, but it simply gave the same result, much to my disappointment, which leads me to think there was either no RAM left at all for the game at 384 MB(With the OS also running), or the current version just has some breaking glitch when running on my fail computer, on Ubuntu 11.10, at 384 MB RAM. =P

    So, that's when I tried to move the VM onto my shiny new external Hard Drive. And to compound my day of fail, even that wouldn't work. Eventually, it was found out that since the drive used a FAT(32?) filesystem, it wouldn't support the 20 Gib Database file the VM needed. So, I had to delete the VM anyway. Wasn't too worried about it, since I wanted to start over anyway, so I deleted the stuff, and after waiting about an hour for the latest version of Knoppix to download, I used that as a base.

    Knoppix:
    Sunday: Well, I must say, this got off to a much better start. Since it's intended as a live CD, it loaded pretty much near-instantly, aside from the obvious boot sequence. But still faster than Ubuntu. =P And that speed just transitioned into the actual OS navigation, as everything was much faster than having to wait 30 seconds for stuff to load(Like the Home Folder) on Ubuntu. This was pretty much instantaneous. And to boot, Synaptic was actually default, as it should be. Didn't have any games or such pre-loaded, unlike what I remember, but I don't really care about that. Went to the package manager, spent a little time to figure out how to get it to show the packages that weren't simply pre-installed, and then downloaded the game again, albeit a slightly earlier version. SUCCESS! It actually loaded, though I quickly broke it again by trying to change the layout, and then spent a long time to try and find out where it's data folder was located. After combing the disk, and finally finding and deleting the glitched settings file, I finally got into play, and while it did seem to run slower than if it was actually a live disk(Since it's only tapping into not even half of the RAM that should be available), it indeed worked. So I played that for a while.

    That's when I tried to install it to the Hard Drive. Oh boy. ; Well, for the most part, it worked alright. It indeed created a new partition, and then installed to that. Even though that took like half an hour. But then it rebooted. Not a problem typically, right? It's just a reboot? *Sighs* Remember that third title I suggested? Another Kernel Bites The Dust? Yeah, that's what happened here. =P Though I didn't know it then, all I saw was it taking like half an hour to boot, which wasn't normal. I simply shut it down, though, since it was like 10:30 then.

    Monday: Wow. I quickly checked everything I needed to, and then I booted up my VM again. It just did the exact same thing, which made me wonder what was going on. So, after a couple tries, and reboots, I tried to manually boot it. Which, is a VERY bad idea when you have no clue what you're doing in that command line interface. I had no clue where the kernel thing was located, nor did I have a clue what half those other options were. The one command I became very familiar with was 'reboot'. =P After a little searching, and a weird place to look, I finally found the kernel. Tried a different one to start, but that just returned an error and kicked me back to the boot screen. So, I just changed it back. And then I tried to type that in the manual boot screen. That's when the fun started. It finally realized I had found a kernel, and when I hit boot, it worked. However, that's also when the reason for it freezing up became apparent. As it was loading everything, it suddenly paused, and started flashing caps and scroll lock on and off on my keyboard. Which seemed odd, so I read some of the text. 'Kernel panic'. Of course. ; So, I tried the other kernel file i saw. Same result. *Sigh* So, I just deleted that VM. Take three!

    ... Of course, I haven't tried to re-install that again, as I have no clue what partitioning and boot stuff to use, as seemingly the defaults are fail for this. =P Also, take note that I have nothing else on this VM, which is likely why it's been working perfectly for me since that, because it's just a 'CD' running over a seemingly empty Hard Drive. =P Just mentioning, because I can't do something like put a partition on it from Windows; because to the VM; there is no Windows. Like there is no spoon, or the cake is a lie.

    See? Fixes everything! =P

    Other titles: Oh No Another One?, This Guy Has Too Many Names, So I See You Change Your Name A Lot, Sir Changes His Name Too Much

    So, yeah, not much to say here. I was contemplating a couple, but well... I just kept returning to this one; and it fits my new avvie, so... I have yet another Bleach-related name. =P

    I might also make up a blog entry of the different features I'm discovering about the board, like the fact that you can reply to comments and the fact that a PM conversation, well, only counts as one conversation. =)

    Overall, though, not that long of an entry this time; but I'll likely have another sometime today about something or another. =P
  15. Blessed Blade
    Other titles include "Yes, BZP's Back!", "No, This Ain't A Hoax", and "But What Do You Mean My Awesomeness Is Maxed?"

    As the title says, it's awesome to see BZP back in action; definitely was a loooong wait, but worth it IMO.

    The only thing is, the layout is definitely different, and while I don't foresee any problems with stuff like navigating it or even getting used to it, I'm definitely gonna have a little trouble figuring different things out for the first day or so, since it's definitely a big change from every other place I've been on; but I like the changes. Just noticing the whole 'blog' header, so at least I don't have to go in through the user panel every time. =P

    Well, expect use of this again, a lot of it. =D Well, uh, of course, for as long as I have it, which I'm still not sure of. ^^;

    This is the entry where I will post what Battle Machines are standard to which team; keep an eye on this entry for updates, as I will update it a lot. =)

    Note: At this moment, this is mostly only a placeholder so the link in the post doesn't break on me. =P

    *Work in progress*
  17. Blessed Blade
    Got the first post totally finished. =D Given that there's no planning topic currently for the LGD RPGs; I'll post it here for people to look over if they wish, before I send it in to be approved or so. =)

    -==Story [001]==-

    Five years earlier, approximately one week after the storyline of Exo Force 'ended'...

    "Hayato; quick joking around." Hikaru berated the red haired pilot, as Hayato was about to backflip the River Dragon once more.
    "Aw; what's wrong? It's not like the Robots are anywhere near us. Or could touch me." Hayato said with a smirk, as he stretched out in the cockpit of the jungle Battle Machine.
    "Besides; it's either that or we have to listen to Takeshi and Hitomi bickering again; and to be honest, I could use a break from that." Hayato said, as Hikaru shook his head.
    "It doesn't matter. We're supposed to be scouting the area, and I for one would like to make sure that there are no robots who are about to destroy us in a second." Hikaru said, and turned his head to the side with a frown, as he heard the snapping of a twig.
    "What was that?" Hikaru asked Hayato, as the playful pilot chuckled.
    "Probably just some random bear; I wouldn't worry about it." Hayato said, and Hikaru frowned, but nodded.
    "Yeah..." Hikaru said, as the two piloted their Battle Machines further into the Jungle, as a Robot Battle Machine slowly walked out of the jungle, it's eyes glowing bright red in the darkness of night.

    The two pilots eventually made their way back to their outpost in the jungle, as a black haired young woman, and a green haired young man walked toward them.
    "About time you got back." The green haired man said, and Hayato chuckled.
    "See? What'd I tell you Hikaru? Takeshi's getting annoyed by Hitomi again; am I right?" Hayato asked, a playful grin on his face, as he walked up to the two of them, but Takeshi simply frowned.
    "We've got a bigger problem... I'd recommend you get back to your mechs." Takeshi said, and Hayato paused, and looked at the pilot curiously, but nodded.

    Two Battle Machines slowly moved out of the jungle, as their robot pilots looked at each other, and then at their targets. Behind them, a large golden Battle Machine appeared from the jungle, and the golden pilot of that smiled, his crimson eyes flickering slightly.
    "It's time." The robot said, but then frowned, as a plasma beam just barely missed hitting him. He turned his head to see four Battle Machines gathered, and then smiled.
    "Fine then. I'll wipe you all out right here and now, and then finish my conquest of the mountain finally. You may have recaptured your leader, but... I will own the day." Meca One said and then had his Battle Machine run toward the Human Battle Machines quickly.

    ----

    The battle lasted for quite a while; however, the battle ultimately resulted in the end of the first Human versus Robot war. The four heroes and the leaders of the Human resistance succeeded in pushing back the robots. Midway through the fight, Sensei Keiken appeared to give precious info about Meca One that resulted in Takeshi and Hikaru teaming up to finally defeat and destroy the golden robot. However; Meca One's words rang true. Even as the Robots retreated, broken and defeated, it wasn't without casualties for the humans. Meca One, when he had captured Sensei Keiken, had introduced a slow acting toxin, that the Exo Force had no known antidote to. When Keiken appeared in the fight, he exerted himself in such a way that the toxin sped up, and he succumbed to it shortly after the fight was over.

    Hitomi took over as the leader for the Human resistance, as they slowly began to return to their former lives. They thought the robot threat was finally gone.

    They were wrong. Now, five years later, the Robots have returned. There is no info on who, or what, is leading the Robots, but the Robots returned in full force, and pushed the humans back to their old bases and outposts. The robots have also gotten slightly altered appearances, though they kept the base portion of their old appearances. The main difference is that their optical sensors look like traditional eyes now; albeit glowing red eyes, but still. In the five years, however, the Humans had upgraded their bases in case of any sort of attack, and had separated their resistance group into multiple squads. The main of those squads, however, was the Exo-Force, which was nearly recreated when the Robots reappeared.

    The question is, however... Whose side will you be on? Will you fight to defend the mountain, or to capture it once and for all?

    -==Sentai Mountain Locations [002]==-

    Here you can find the different locations present on Sentai Mountain.

    -===Human Side===-
    ===Human Base, Mountain Location===

    This is where new players for the Human Side will likely start out. This is the main base for the humans is located, and is approximately halfway down the Mountain, or up, whatever you consider it. New Battle Machines are created here, or upgraded and repaired. This is also where strategies are thought out, however meetings can be video linked between the other bases on the Mountain.

    Important locations in the Human Base:
    The Training Area; this is where people can practice their hand-to-hand combat skills, or even practice their mech battling skills.
    The Hangar; this is where the Battle Machiness are stored and worked on. You can usually find people in here, whether they be pilots or mechanics.

    ===Golden City, Human Side===

    This is the Golden City, the location where the old Human versus Robot war reached a critical point. The technology is still relatively unknown, regardless of the time spent being analyzed. However, the records of the past fights has been chosen to be stored here, in a vault that has been locked by a Code Brick that has been cracked by the Human Side.

    Important locations in the Golden City(Human Side):
    The Golden Archives; this is where most of the battle records are stored from the fights of the past. After being retrieved, the records can then be sent to other bases to be analyzed, or worked into battle training simulations.
    The Golden Lab; This is where the Code Bricks are sent to be analyzed once they have been located and brought back to the base. This is also where technicians are taught how to work on computers, however that training takes place in a separate location than the main lab, for obvious reasons.

    ===Sentai Jungle, Human Outpost===

    The Sentai Jungle... Mysterious, littered with streams and deadly plant life... And the subject of multiple fights. This war has revisited the Sentai Jungle, and has lead to the Humans and Robots both establishing outposts here. The Human Outpost isn't as technologically advanced as the Robots' Outpost, however, they use the technology they do have wisely. They have connections to the other bases on the Mountain, and can camouflage their base with Anti-Radar coverings, which are designed to look like plant life found in the jungle.

    Important locations in the Human Outpost:
    The Camouflage Area; this is the first stop for people who wish to learn how to blend into the jungle. Try and visit here first anyway, if you plan on heading into the jungle, it'll give you help to be camouflaged in, and will allow you to stealthily creep through the jungle, as this area can also camouflage your Battle machines.
    The Stealth Attack Area; Here, you can learn how to stealthily move through the jungle without attracting attention. This is not the same as the training from the camouflage area, as that merely lets you blend in when not moving. Here, you will learn how to sneak up on enemies, and dispatch them. Even if that's not exactly easy against robotic opponents.

    -===Robot Side===-
    ===Robot Base, Main Location===

    This is the main Robot Base... You can spot it from a mile away, due to the huge head shaped like a robot's head that makes up it's front entrance. The head had been damaged from the fighting in the old war, and has not been repaired, instead leaving it there to note to the new generation of robots that they failed to claim the mountain once... And that they won't again.

    Important locations in the Robot Base:
    The Robot Creation Factory; This is where the new generation of robots are made. The enigmatic robot leader watches over this factory to make sure that everything goes as planned. The factory also has multiple guards posted all over the main production area, so attempts to attack it have failed so far.
    The Robot Programming Lab; This is where the robots that are created are programmed.

    ===Golden City, Robot Side===

    After the return of the robots, the Golden City was on of the first things they attacked, to try and take it away. Though they didn't take the whole city, they took over a good chunk of the city, effectively splitting it in half. There is a stalemate at the moment, which is having the effect of neither side gaining any more of the city than the other.

    Important locations in the Golden City(Robot side):
    The Golden Databank; this is where all the important intelligence for the Robots is located... literally. Though the robots can transfer this data to their other bases quickly, it is the safest here, given the fact that they converted a normal code brick-opened safe into holding the databank's computers.
    The Golden Production Facility; This is where the Robot's Battle Machines are created. While they aren't Code Brick Battle Machines; they tend to have a yellowish tint to them to show they were created here.

    ===Sentai Jungle, Robot Outpost===

    The Robot Outpost in the Sentai Jungle is located near the old Human Outpost, where their fallen comrades had once laid. As a tribute to their old leader, the Robots have decided not to camouflage this base; but instead make it stick out, giving everything in this base a golden tone to reflect Meca One's former colouring.

    Important locations in the Robot Outpost:
    The Robot Strike Headquarters; this is where strategies are laid out and sent from the leader of the Robots. This is one of the most important parts of the Robot outpost, and as such, all concentration went into making this the most guarded area of the outpost. The Robots also decided that this was all the Robot Outpost required.

    -===Neutral Areas===-
    ===The Sentai Caves===

    This is a system of caves that are scattered around the island. While some have been captured by the robots as part of their base, there are some parts of the caves that are not linked to the Robot Base by tunnels; and have tunnels connecting them to other sections. It's rumoured that one of the bridges connects one cave to another, but further details are unknown.

    ===The Sentai Jungle===

    While the Jungle has multiple outposts located in it, the Jungle itself is a neutral area. It may just hold many secrets; some surprising, and some just as dark as they are surprising...

    As more areas on the mountain are discovered, this will be updated accordingly.

    -==The Mecha Factor [003]==-

    In this RPG, you pilot giant Mecha known as 'Battle Machines' as in the normal Exo Force story. However, while the main models are available mostly, there are also new, technologically advanced, Battle Machine models that are always being created.

    That's where you come in. While you can create your own personal Battle Machine, you also have the opportunity to allow your team to use that as well. Not everyone will be able to have their own Battle Machine be used by their faction, but every week or so, a person will be chosen by the RPG staff to have their Battle Machine be part of the typical faction lineup. The RPG staff will use multiple aspects to make their choices, but creativity is definitely a big part of this.

    Link to an entry that has a list of Battle Machines that everyone can use.

    -==Rules [004]==-

    1. Label your posts with IC and OOC, please.
    2. Obey all forum rules.
    3. No killing player characters without permission.
    4. No "Leet". It's not allowed, and as such, shouldn't be in here.
    5. God Mode isn't allowed all that much. There will obviously be exceptions given that this is a mech based RPG, there is still a limit to what you can and can't do.

    -==Punishments [005]==-

    Ok, I dislike to do this, but, these are what you get if you break the rules.

    1. You get a simple PM warning, telling you not to do what you did, plus your Battle Machine is temporarily disabled somehow.
    2. You get a public warning, and a medium wound on your character, and part of your Battle Machine is damaged.
    4. You get a critical wound, and a suspension from the RPG for two days. Your Battle Machine is also damaged majorly, by missing an arm or something.
    5. You get your character killed off, and your Battle Machine destroyed, and suspended from the RPG for a week, and when you get back you can make a new character.
    6. You get one of your characters put on the most wanted list for the the opposite faction, and you are banned from the RPG until I decide you are fit to play again.
    7. That was your last chance the last time. You are permanently banned from the RPG, and all your characters are put on the most wanted list for the opposite faction. You can argue your point, but there's not much hope you can get back.

    -==Profile Submissions [006]==-

    Please post the profiles in the topic in OOC.

    Faction: (Either the Humans or Robots for now)
    Character Appearance: (Either describe what your character looks like, or post a reference picture)
    Primary Battle Style: (Do you focus on close combat, or ranged? Do you try to go for speed attacks, or tank your way through fights?)

    Mech Name: (What is this called? It can even have names different from the official ones)
    Mech Model: (What is the Battle Machine itself?)
    Mech Weapons: (What is equipped to this Battle Machine? Try to keep to three handheld weapons, and two shoulder mounted weapons.)
    Mech Appearance: (What does the Battle Machine look like? If it's an official Battle Machine, it could have a different colour scheme or so.)
    Mech Characteristic: (If you're making a custom Battle Machine, this is stating what style this is; and is pretty much the same as your Primary Battle Style. However, if it's a 'Team' Mech, then you need to use the characteristic that's already stated there)

    -==The Code Brick Factor [007]==-

    In this RPG, although it's not mainly set in the Golden City, there are code bricks to find, and retrieve from the opposite faction. The Code Bricks will act partially as Power Bricks, in that they can be used to power your Battle Machines, or grant special powers, along with unlocking special areas in enigmatic places such as the Golden City. The Code Bricks, after their other uses are expended, can also be melted down to create brand new Battle Machines, though the person who's creating the new Battle Machine has to be extremely skilled for it to work correctly, since there are more factors at work than a normal Battle Machine's Creation.

    There's one thing about using Code Bricks to create battle Machines, however; the Code Brick Battle Machine would then have the Code Brick's properties, and wouldn't be able to be physically destroyed... However, it could still be captured by the opposite faction. This is to prevent destruction of a Code Brick simply to disallow anyone from ever stealing it away. In fact, it may turn out to be more disadvantageous to create a Code Brick Battle Machine, since it can be stolen away even easier than a simple Code Brick.

    This section will be used along with the Current Events section to show Code Bricks in effect, what Code Bricks have been obtained, who has them, and if the Code Bricks are in their normal state, or have been remolded into Battle Machines.

    -==Factions [008]==-
    -===Humans===-

    The Humans are, well, humans. They haven't got the sheer numbers on their side that the robots do, but they do have their advantages, such as not being as fragile as the robots are, despite their bodies not being as 'sturdy' as a Robot's. Humans have their own 'brand' of Battle Machines, but aren't as fast in upgrading or repairing their Battle Machines as Robots are.

    -===Robots===-

    Robots are the metal inhabitants of Sentai Mountain. Due to their mass production capabilities, they tend to outnumber the humans most of the time. However, with mass production comes problems. Robots are extremely easy to destroy, despite their steel exterior. For one, destroying their power core, or otherwise disabling it, will overload the rest of their body. Second, take out it's memory unit, and it'll be destroyed. On that same note, tampering with the memory unit of a Robot could make it be reprogrammed to not know what to do, or even fight against other Robots. Due to the fact that Robots are, well, robots; their battle machines can be created, repaired, and upgraded very quickly.

    -==Current Events [009]==-

    This section will normally be updated every day at a certain interval, typically at night.

    There are no events happening currently.

    There are no Code Bricks in play currently.

    The humans are not doing anything currently.

    The Robots are not doing anything currently.

    Alright, so. I mentioned in the Planning topic that I was planning an RPG. I am planning a COT RPG, yes.

    However.

    I'm also planning an RPG for LGD. To be precise... It'll be an Exo-Force RPG. It's got a story that could lead to some interesting things, and the 'missions' that it'll have should be very interesting as well; but I'll get into that later.

    I'm still working on some things involving the first post, but the majority of it should be done by later today. I'm putting all my knowledge of RPGs into this; from what I've run elsewhere, to what I've played on here. Some of the things that I've got planned for this, might also help with other RPGs that I think up, especially this way of handling missions.

    So; I've been playing Galaxy 2 recently.

    I've gotten up to 100 stars, and am nearing the end of World 6. Not too great, but considering I haven't been playing it all that long, and when I do, I've only been playing for... maybe 3 hours each day(Though since it's the weekend, I played longer yesterday and today. =P); I'd say that's a good job. =)

    Also, if anyone's seen that challenge for Galaxy 2 that's on the Nintendo Channel for the Wii... I did that same challenge. Didn't have nearly as hard a time on it, aside from the weird gravity sections.

    I also did it the first time, to boot. =P
  20. Blessed Blade
    Hmm; multiple categories this can go in. =P

    So; decided yesterday that I'd join a couple more of the contest RPGs. Given that I'm already part of Day Run, that meant literally two more. And therefore, I'm now part of all the contest RPGs currently open.

    Is it just me, or were the RPGs that won this contest awesome? =O Either that, or it's because I actually paid attention to the Bionicle RPGs forum for the first time in months. >>;

    Step one: Start thinking up ideas for one of your current epics.
    Step two: Think of ideas for what the communications device could be in said epic.
    Step three: Think up that it's a smartphone, like everything else.
    Step four: Realize that it made by 'Cyber Incorporated'.
    Step five: Realize that the name could be the 'CyPhone'.
    Step six: Realize that said company plays a very large part in the epics.

    I tell you, I never even thought of that at first, but... It may unintentionally seem like Apple; at least with the iPhone to CyPhone thing. Hopefully that's where the similarities stop; because I don't like the possibility th- ... Wait... >=D I just got an idea. One that might be able to explain things. Can't reveal anything about what I'm talking about, since it's dealing with the future of one of my epics, but something will be interesting about this. And I just figured out that it could work fairly well this way I'm now thinking up.

    Yes, I'm being purposely enigmatic. I tend to do that a lot. =P

    In other news, Winamp's not happy. Think I should update it? =P
  22. Blessed Blade
    I utterly loathe my connection to Wi-Fi. In fact, my connection to the internet in general.

    *Pow pow pow* "Argh, everyone's killing me; so I'll kill the snipers." "*Insert names here* have left the game" *Blinks* Huh. *Looks at computer, which said the connection couldn't be reached* "Ah; that explains that... Free EXP!" *2:30 left in the game* "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM NINTENDO WI-FI CONNECTION" "... AAAAAAAAGH!!"

    ... So yeah. And since I was host... I'm likely seen as a ragequitter. Unless it said connection to host interrupted; then that's obvious what happened. =P
