  1. -==IC: Taylor==- That caught the girl's attention and succeeded in what Claus wished. "That's pretty cool! He looks pretty strong, honestly." Taylor walked over to the flaming monkey with a wide smile, as she sent out her Prinplup to greet him. "Penguigo, check it out! It's another Monferno!" The girl smiled brightly as the Prinplup went over to discuss things with the fire type. "My dad actually has a very strong Infernape. He and some friends actually challenged the Elite Four back when he was younger!" Taylor giggled as she turned back to Claus. "It's a pretty cool coincidence that you have one too... Agh, I wish Pokemon could use their moves again, already! I sound like a broken record, but I'd so challenge you to a battle if I could!"
  2. Ooooh, nice! That was a surprise first scenario, but this is looking... cool! ^^
  3. How long between the three stories is this? IIRC you mentioned how long the timeskip was between Tribe and the original(Though I forgot ^^'), but I'm curious how long the timeskip was here ^^
  4. Very good chapter! ^^ I'm glad to see this back, and I'm excited to see how this goes! ^^
  5. -==IC: Lucia==- Just as Ava had calmed down, Lucia felt herself be able to let out a sigh of relief. She put an arm around Ava as she once had done to help out her own mother. She still felt a little shaky after the near argument, but knew that anger would help no-one in this case. She just quietly gave the grieving woman comfort, regardless of her own feelings about her and how she handles things. Lucia wanted to have something profound to say, but the only thing she could think of was that this was how life went - sometimes things happen for no reason at all. However, she knew that was arguably the worst thing to say right now, so she just kept quiet.
  6. -==IC: Lucia==- "Stand down." Lucia said with a cold tone to her voice as she made no move to do anything. "Do you want to know something? I didn't put any ideas in her head. I don't appreciate being accused about anything. And I don't appreciate anyone here getting nearly killed because you've lost control of yourself." The healer took a step forward, as her angry expression was hidden behind the visor of her helmet. "People are not your playthings. Everyone here is here because they wanted to help stop this thing and knew the risks. People I care about a lot is in the middle of this fight too and one of them nearly got targeted by over five Instances. But I'm not going to blame anyone but the monsters we're fighting." The redhead struggled to keep from yelling, as she fixed her eyes on Ava directly. "I'm sorry that your husband died. I'm sorry that it was apparently supposed to be after you. I'm sorry that I know I can't heal something like that. But lashing out at others is wrong. It'll solve nothing. So I'll say it again. Stand. Down." As Lucia continued to stand her ground and try to force the older woman to stop acting petty like this, she felt herself shake ever so slightly. Despite that, she locked herself into standing near Ava, keeping her breathing steady. -==IC: Cyrus==- "Too formal." The much older man said dismissively, as he walked toward the door. "You sound like a child fresh out of initiation." As the rest of the people who were leaving filed out of the mansion, Cyrus kept on walking. He didn't stop to see if the others were alright, or to talk to anyone. He didn't really care. What he wanted was to. . . The man stopped, as he checked to see if Adam was still following. "You wish to assist me?"
  7. -==IC: Cyrus==- The Ludicolo's attack pushed the Houndoom back slightly, as Cyrus simply continued to throw Pokemon out. His Honchkrow made a beeline for the Volcarona as it appeared. It used Drill Peck on the fire bug, before following that up with an Icy Wind across the opposing team. The Weavile appeared and launched a sneaky X-Scissor on the Lilligant. The attack, combined with the prior damage, knocked it out the moment it landed. Cyrus noticed the clown man get even madder at the Lilligant's fainting, but he couldn't give a care. The Crobat slashed out with Cross Poison at the Chandelure that was already damaged by the Toxic Poison and Icy Wind. Cyrus held his hand up as the Gyarados and Houndoom launched themselves past the Ludicolo. As Caliburn and Fuerte launched their own attacks, the Gyarados and Houndoom added an Ice Fang and Thunder Fang to the mix. As the Oricorio fell from the myriad of attacks, the shadowy portal closed up and the ghosts that had appeared all vanished, except for Gracie, the butler, and Yugo's mother. As Miror B yelled out in frustration, the doors behind them burst open again and Jake and another person ran into the room. At the sight of them, Miror B's eyes widened and he pushed past the kids in the way to get to them. Cyrus paid them no mind, however, as he walked over to Gracie. "Cy-Cy, I heard you had died! Twice! Both times involving that mystery world!" The girl tilted her head to the side in confusion. "That is much exaggerated." The side of Cyrus' mouth tilted up ever so slightly as he reacted. "It is a pleasure to see you again, however." The man was pulled from his discussion by the black haired man trying to get his attention again. The pale blue haired man glared at the much younger man and the constant questions. "My name is Cyrus. leader of Team Galactic." The man said, as he eyed over the circus-dressed Adam. "I was. . . not here for a good amount of time. I do not know much about what has happened while I was gone. I was informed that one of the people from there that I must find was last seen in the forest. However, all I see here are children." Cyrus shook his head. "This is no matter of yours. Let us leave this place before that jester gets any more ideas."
  8. -==IC: Ryan H/Tyranitar - James A/Lancelot==- “Roger that.” Ryan replied as he eyed the situation. He was glad that they had been able to buy some time with the attacks, but knew that would only last a short amount of time. If Amanda’s Poke Ball had accomplished anything, it was breaking Wrath’s concentration. Lancelot saw this and decided to capitalize on it. Jubilation carried him forward, his entire body glowing with light before it concentrated on the gauntlet that carried the sword. The Scizor intended to land the Superpower before Samurloch could regain his senses. Ryan watched for a moment as Tyranitar kept his distance for a moment, only using Payback to figuratively chip away at Wrath’s defenses. Ryan decided he would add his own two cents, as he utilized the Fake Tears protocol before he used Snarl against Samurloch. James had two considerations to ponder in the brief moments before his started this gambit. Given the nature of the protocol he was about to activate, James had to decide which pieces wouldn’t give M0 anything worthwhile to work with if M0 absorbed it. The other consideration was getting himself and the others to safety after this last resort tactic was finished. Once he played this trump card, he would basically have nothing left. [All-In protocol active: initiate {Belly Drum, Laser Focus, Lock-On}] The die was cast. The durability of the suit turned to that of a wet paper towel as any piece determined superfluous fell off to the beat of a loud drum. A laser sight appeared from a piece on James’s arm. It sought both a perfect target and a perfect trajectory an attack could take towards that target. He only needed a few moments.
  9. -==IC: Yugo/???==- Yugo found himself buffeted by the combined assault of the fiery leaves. As he glanced around, he noticed all of the Pokemon except Voltia get hit hard by the attacks too. He struggled to think of a solution. He searched the room for any solution, and found himself frozen in place. Mother? **** Music behind the door. This was not how the mansion was supposed to be. A place of refuge seemed tainted as well. Nevertheless, the figure pressed onward. They gripped a Pokeball in hand as they approached the door the music was coming from the loudest. Sounds of combat could be heard as they approached as well. A grimace fell over the figure's shrouded face. How disappointing. The figure threw out the Pokeball and shielded their face wordlessly as flames burst through the door from the ensuing Pokemon's mouth. **** Yugo felt unable to move for the longest time, but was jolted back to focus as the room began to feel hotter than it had even during the Fiery Dance. The boy tore his eyes away from the translucent figure in front of him and noticed a man shrouded in the darkness of the entrance, the flames from the Houndoom that stood in front of him only serving to obscure him more. Considering the way he had come from, there was no way this was another ghostly enemy, yet he couldn't help but feel on guard as the man walked into the room. "Who, pray tell, might you be?" The man spoke in a gravelly tone, as if his voice had not truly been used in a long time. However, he appeared to mull things over in his mind. "It feels like it would simply be a waste of time to find out, however. You dare defile this place. I will..." The man paused as he swallowed for a moment. "I will rid this place of you and your. . . compatriots." Another Pokeball flew from the man's outstretched hand. A Crobat shot forward like a bullet toward the Lilligant and Chandelure. A Toxic slime was flung at the Chandelure, while the Lilligant was targeted with the poison-filled claws on the Crobat's wings. While that was going on, the Houndoom rushed toward the Ludicolo that was being accosted by the Joltik and aimed to roast it with a Flamethrower. Yugo felt intimidated by the newcomer. Despite seeming to be helping out, an overwhelming sense of dread filled him at the sound of his voice. The look on the man's face just served to unnerve him, as it just seemed. . . conflicting with the situation at hand. As if the calm assertiveness the man exuded was merely a front.
  10. -==IC: Yugo Doseki - Two Turns Remain==- The scene unfolding troubled Yugo. He had no clue what was honestly going on, as his Charmeleon and Pidgey continue to duel. Airazor had never acted this way - so why was this happening now of all times? The Joltik, to her credit, was hanging on for dear life. Despite that, she let out a squeal of delight before aiming to chomp away at the Ludicolo once more. "Spitfire, focus on the Lilligant! I know this is a weird situation, but you have to keep focus!" The Charmeleon heard its Trainer's pleas and let out a sound of recognition, but had no room for error as the Pidgey continuously divebombed its companion. Sandslash, on the other hand, simply used Hone Claws, waiting out the best situation to attack.
  11. -==IC: Chloe==- The girl seemed to have been caught by surprise by the question, but then giggled awkwardly. "Oh, the mission? It went kinda well. . . we found out where they were hiding with some help and then freed the Pokemon. There were some hiccups, but we also found out some stuff from the people we were able to talk to." Chloe gave a smile of reassurance, but it definitely seemed like there were some things she wasn't mentioning. She motioned with her eyes to the children present, as if to suggest that they shouldn't hear whatever else she wanted to say.
  12. -==IC: Yugo Doseki - Three Turns Remain==- The boy bit his lip as he bobbed his head to the tune. He was torn - on one hand, the music was awesome. On the other, a bunch of ghosts sounding to try to take over the world sounded like something he very much should stop. With much reluctance, Yugo quickly grabbed the Pokeballs for his team and sent them out one after another. His Charmander appeared from the capsule and gave a brief "Cha!" before glancing around the room. Spitfire incredulously looked around at the situation, and then turned to Yugo with a "Are you serious?" expression. With a sigh, it enveloped itself in a bright glow, before evolving to a Charmeleon with a rather annoyed look on its face. With a roar, it stared down the Lilligant. "Now, use whatever you can!" The Charmeleon spun a Dragon Dance to the tune before very quickly launching a Flamethrower at the grass type as it approached. Sandslash, on the other hand, quickly aimed a Rollout at the Chandelure, despite it eying the dancing Oricorio shielded by the Ludicolo. Yugo's Joltik was daring, on the other hand, and quickly leaped right toward the Ludicolo, bravely using Bug Bite to attack it. Airazor, on the other hand, caught sight of the ghosts and uneasily began to scan through with her keen eyes. "Airazor, what are you doing? Aren't you going to fight?" Yugo called out, but the bird squawked in response, seeming agitated about something. With a look that did not seem entirely normal for the bird, she instead attempted to use Wing Attack on Spitfire, which prompted the Charmeleon to dodge out of the way in incredulity. OOC: Charmander > Charmeleon Move upgrades: Flame Thrower (Blaze Only) > Flamethrower, Scratch > Slash -==IC==- The steps echoed throughout. Why? That was the one word that rang true through all of this. 'Why'? -==IC: Ryan==- Ryan grit his teeth as his Tyranitar was pushed back onto the defensive. He watched as a Stone Edge was raised to try and block the chains, but it only bought enough time for the Rock-type to leap centimeters away from the chains. There had to be another way around this. . . Suddenly, it hit him. Behind his mask, the Dark Suit user grinned as he called up the chain-attack functionality. "Hey, good looking, why the frown? Try this instead." Ryan tried his best to Flatter his Sinister opponent, all the while working on turning things Topsy-Turvy around the Samurloch. OOC: Tyranitar: Stone Edge > Chains Ryan Hikari: Flatter > Samurloch, Topsy-Turvy > Samurloch -==IC: Ray==- On one hand, the chains could be a problem. On the other, here was a clear path and the Samurloch seemed thoroughly distracted. Ray took the opportunity and very quickly activated the maneuver gear function to zip across the rocks that Sleight had set up. He focused entirely on the mission to get over to Goldhawk as he shifted positions to move closer and closer with every rock. Once he got to the fallen leader, he kept a direct eye on Samurloch while he tried to lift Goldhawk. He knew that moving him was risky, but at this point, there was absolutely no other option. Once he got a good grip on the Liberty Leader, he quickly signaled for Esen. "Got him, let's go, let's go!" -==IC: Chloe==- Before doing anything else after she left, Chloe took a moment to change back into her casual outfit so her new clothes could be washed. She wasn't entirely certain what to do at that moment as she carried the rest of the bags around, but decided to check back in with the people in the Cafeteria. The psychic seemed a bit surprised that they were still there, but gave a small smile. "Heya."
  13. -==IC: Yugo==- "I have one, when does the music start back up?" Yugo called out, as he still tapped his foot to the rhythm of the already-ended song. He was cautiously curious about what was mentioned, but... surely the guy was joking, right? After all, he seemed too nice to be planning anything bad.
  14. -==IC: Lucia==- Lucia had glanced over to where Jamie was once again. As she saw what ensued, however, she nearly stumbled over her own feet. "What the--" The healer shook her head. "Right, escape, let's get going then." She wasn't quite sure what she expected Jamie to do to get out of that situation. Stopping time? That wasn't one of the things. She renewed her efforts to get Dack and Madison off the field, ignoring the frantic fighting near Goldhawk and the Samurloch for the moment. -==IC: Yugo==- "This is my jam." The kid smiled as he bobbed his head in time to the music even while it was stopped. He seemed rather amused at the efforts of the old geezer to escape from the place despite how cool it was. "I'll admit, I had my doubts, but this is cool."
  15. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe bit her lip a moment before she laughed awkwardly. She wasn't sure if she had the heart to tell the younger boy. She decided it was necessary information. "Well, mine haven't changed since I checked, and that was at least a month ago. I have no clue when they changed either, so, um... yeah, I think they might stay that way."
  16. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe blinked for a moment as the two discussed things. She thought for a moment as she considered her own eye colour issues. "You did do a lot of teleporting today. . ." The woman said slowly as she recalled some things she read in the book while researching her powers last month. "It's possible that is what caused this. Did you know I had grey eyes once? Not anymore." Chloe thought for a moment, then giggled. "Not that I mind."
  17. -==IC: Chloe==- "You could've at least given a little warning so I could take my clothes out." Despite the tone that suggested she was annoyed, the young woman did wear an amused look on her face now that she was close to getting the bags back. "No worries, though, no permanent harm done." As Chloe glanced over at Xander, however, she furrowed her eyebrows slightly. ". . . Xander? I'm not thinking of something different am I? You had blue eyes earlier, didn't you?"
  18. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe stayed mostly quiet as they walked down the hall, but did nod in thanks to Sylph. She knew that the Gardevoir wanted to help; she just didn't know how that help could happen at that precise moment. So she kept the thoughts to herself as they approached Xander's room. -==IC: Of Sisters and Heroes==- "I'll get it." Evan said, as he headed for the door. "I made the call, so it only makes sense." A few minutes later, Evan returned, with three pizza boxes, one of which was subtantially bigger than the other two. "Here's dinner!" "Finally!" Zoe hopped off the couch, all thoughts of Jenny abandoned in favor of the substantially delicious if debatably nutritious meal. "Mom and Dad need to work late more often, Collie's the best babysitter I've ever had!" Colette giggled, as she went to get some of the slices of pizza onto a plate for herself. "Now, now, we all need to have treats every so often and I can't cook. I'm sure they'll be right back to healthier meals tomorrow." She smiled in amusement as she walked over to the table with the plate before sitting down. Zoe stuck out her tongue in a face of disgust. "Spare me, Collie! I'm pretty sure Mom's broccoli is laced with poison!" Evan had waited until Zoe and Colette had grabbed their slices, then grabbed his own. The man munched on the fine tasting food. He laughed at Zoe's remark, not being a fan of broccoli himself. "I'm sure that's not the case, Vampire Queen." He said, winking at Zoe. The aura wielder, however, shuddered. "I might have to agree with Zoe. I may not know how to cook, but I'm pretty certain broccoli shouldn't taste like it's been drenched then dried a thousand times..." She giggled slightly. "I like mom's meals sometimes, but that definitely isn't my favourite." "At least they don't put broccoli on pizza." Zoe grinned and took a big bite of her slice of cheese pizza. "So Collie," she said through a mouthful of stringy cheese and tomato sauce. "Now that we're back to being best friend sisters, I'm thinking we should hang out with your new friends tomorrow. I've met some of them, but I saw a lot of new people in the cafeteria today. I think it'd be fun to introduce me to them." "Hmm, that might work! Might have to be a little early though." The girl thought for a moment while she took a bite out of one of her slices. After swallowing, she continued. "Apparently they're going on a trip or something. Something about looking into a dead group in Kalos or so - and I got roped in because I know the place." Colette sighed slightly, as she took another bite of her pizza. "A dead group? So like zombies?" Zoe took another bite as she let that sink in. "Wait, what?! You're going back to Kalos? Tomorrow?! When were you gonna tell me?" "Around now. I was gonna mention it last night, but you were in your room or something." The aura wielder sighed. "I wonder if I should, though... like, it goes right back to what we were saying before, right? I've been basically abandoning doing stuff with you because of this sorta stuff." "But, have you considered...." Evan said, pointing at Colette. "That you are doing this, so that you can do more with Zoe in the future? I don't know what you two have been through, but it's obvious your bond with each other has made things bearable." Zoe bit her lip and stared down at her plate. She hated the fact that Collie had to leave again so suddenly. But hadn't they just had a talk about how Zoe needed to be a better sister and let Collie do her own things from time to time. "Evan's right," she said, trying to wipe away her tears without anyone else noticing. "Someone needs to teach those zombies it's not nice to take over Kalos. Go out there and be a hero, Collie. I'll be rooting for you back here." She smiled sadly. "Just promise you'll be okay, alright? No more hiding away in your room when you get home." "I'll be fine." Colette still seemed uneasy, but gave as good a smile as she could. "I'm sure it won't be too long... and here, I'll call every chance I get, sound good?" She giggled slightly at a thought. "Maybe I could live stream kicking zombie butt to you or something." "That'd be awesome." Zoe laughed as she reached for another slice of pizza. "Put it up on the internet and you might even become famous. Then I can prove to all my classmates that I'm not crazy!" Colette giggled at the idea. "We'll definitely see how it goes. I'll see what I can do about your classmates too; maybe I could be your Show and Tell one day." Evan grinned. "See? What did I tell you?" He said assuringly. "You've got a bond stronger than a Steelix!" The man couldn't help but feel touched at just how close these two were, especially considering the situation. Zoe reddened slightly, but clasped a hand around her new locket with a smile. "Nothing can break us," she said softly. "Not even a trip to Kalos." Colette smiled slightly and took a deep breath. "I. . . also want to try and make a sort of vow to that. To being a better sister. I've brought up earlier a bit, but never actually mentioned what Mom and I talked about..." "What's that?" Zoe looked over at her sister curiously. "Well..." The girl bit her lip slightly in nervous apprehension. She wasn't sure how this would go over, but at this point she just had to put her trust in Zoe. "Mom and I were discussing how I might be able to help things get better. She was the one who suggested getting you a replacement locket, but. . ." The aura wielder hesitated for a moment before continuing. "She also reminded me something I had long since forgotten. When I left to start my aura training, she gave me the Kalosian name Colette so I could fit in and like, feel like I was really meant to be a hero. It was a name befitting for an Aura master. But. . . that wasn't my birth name. . ." She leaned forward, her lip trembling as the truth stood poised at the tip of her tongue. "My real name is actually Colleen."
  19. -==IC: Colette/Zoe/Evan(JAM)==- After a few more minutes of tickling, which included Zoe's other foot being brought into the fray, Colette decided that it was a good time to return to why they had gone downstairs in the first place. Her victim was freed from the ticklish torture and set down to the ground again. "So, we got really distracted, but what should we have to eat? I think mom and dad are gonna be late tonight, there was a lot of stuff going on when I talked to mom earlier." At the mention of food, Evan had realized he hadn't eaten since the cafeteria. Helping Colette, and dealing with Keturi, had really done a number on his hunger. "Hey um.......mind if I join you two?" The man asked sheepishly. "Kinda......skimped on food today." Zoe curled up on the couch to defend herself against more tickles, but it seemed Evan and Colette were more concerned with food. It was only then that Zoe became aware of the gnawing pain in her stomach. Her breakfast plans had been cut short when she'd run from the cafeteria, and she'd been too nervous to eat lunch, so she hadn't actually eaten all day. "I demand a feast!" she declared. "A big steak dinner with roasted potatoes, garlic bread, steamed corn, and rice balls! Oh, and ice cream! The Vampire Queen spared the Space Princess' life so she never had a chance to eat earlier." Evan looked at Zoe, then Colette, then back at Zoe, and finally back at Colette. He, while looking a little stupefied, mouthed the words "Can you make any of that?" to the Aura Wielder. The girl in question shook her head subtly while Zoe wasn't looking. She thought about other types of food that they could have, but if Zoe hadn't eaten at all, Colette felt that it would be best to not take hours to make something to eat. Zoe brought a hand to her head and groaned loudly. "What are you waiting for, get to cooking already! Or do you want to be the one to tell Mom and Dad you let your little sister starve to death?" Evan smiled sheepishly. "My employers taught me how to keep the peace, and nothing else." The man said, thinking of ideas. "Plus, I dunno if I could cook so much food......." "I got taught aura wielding for 12 years... none of that training included cooking. Sorry, sis." Colette sheepishly scratched her chin, as she thought about something else they could do for dinner instead. "How about pizza? Sounds like a simple enough idea for tonight and it'd be filling enough for a starving young girl." "Pizza's fine, I just need food!" Zoe moaned. "I feel like I'm withering away like an Oddish left out in the sun too long." "Frozen or Take-out/Delivery?" Evan inquired. "Take-out would get us more at once than frozen. Know anywhere that delivers in a hurry, Aura Princess?" "I think Zoe has more of a grasp on what's around here than the girl who's lived in Kalos until a month ago." Colette seemed amused, but looked over at Zoe with hopes that she had an idea. "Mach Punch Pizza," Zoe said faintly. "You go into town and take a left at Maple Street, and it's in that little shopping center. They hold the record for the fastest deliveries on Four Island." "It sounds like we've got a solid decision from the Vampire Queen." Evan said, turning to Colette. "Let's dial them up, and get an order going. Hopefully we've got enough money to ensure that we get a good sized feast!" Colette whistled innocently at the mention of money and simply nodded. "I'll let you handle the talking; is this the number?" "There goes what I had left after the ring......" Evan thought as he looked at the number. He punched in the number on his Pokegear and made his order, making it a point to order a Castelia-style pizza and two regular pizzas, which would fill up Zoe nicely after her day of starvation. Colette approached him as he took out his card and brandished a card of her own with a hint of a mischievous smile on her face. After getting the payment using Colette's card settled, the man hung up, smiling at Colette gratefully. "Thank you, Aura Princess." He mouthed.
  20. -==IC: Colette==- "Sounds about right." Colette giggled in amusement at everything that happened as she approached the two. "But what if there were an unheroic moment in the mix? What if. . ." With a mischievous smile, the girl quickly lunged forward and grabbed for Zoe's foot before she began to tickle it in amusement. "There was a tag team?!"
  21. -==IC: Colette==- Colette giggled in amusement as she descended down the stairs, hands behind her back. She was really glad to see Zoe back in her playful mood again - Evan playing along just helped to drill in how good this was. As much as it would be correct for Colette to step in, she didn't feel it was right. Instead, she simply leaned against a wall at the bottom of the stairs and watched the shenanigans unfold.
  22. -==IC: Colette==- After the tale of the Vampires ended, Colette stretched and got up off the bed. "Let's head downstairs for something to eat. Not sure if mom'll be home soon or not, but..." She walked toward the door happily, but paused for a brief moment as she heard the TV, momentarily forgetting that Evan was still in the house. "That reminds me, I have another thing or two to say, but it can wait until after we're downstairs."
  23. -==IC: Colette/Zoe(Jam)==- Colette sat down next to Zoe and looked over at the younger girl with a soft smile. She nodded with silent encouragement, as she knew that whatever Zoe wanted to say was very likely related to their argument earlier. It also seemed like something that Zoe needed to do by herself. For a long while the two girls sat in silence, one moment stretching long into the next. After what felt like an eternity, Zoe took a deep breath and forced herself to meet Collie's eyes. "Remember when we were kids?" she asked quietly. "I'd always visit you on vacations; we'd do nothing but play all day. I'd sometimes follow you around for your aura training, but I know now that Lucina didn't push you as hard as usual when I was around." Colette giggled at that memory. "Those were good break times, honestly. Scheduled breaks from my actual training, which I needed sometimes." She closed her eyes with a smile at the memory. "Not that the actual training wasn't fun at times, but it was definitely pretty tough." Zoe nodded, a sad smile on her face. "I never got to see your actual training. I never understood how hard you worked. I only got to see the fun part of you, that part that was a sister. So when you came here, and started going on the missions you were trained for, started hanging out with people other than your sister . . . I guess it was like you were a totally different person. And I hated you for not being the cool Aura Princess that did nothing but play with me all day. I feel like I've been a terrible sister . . ." "If you have, then I have too." The aura wielder dug in her pocket for the broken pendant and held it up. "I honestly haven't been doing that good a job. I've been stressed out a bunch and caused you to get upset too." The new locket around her neck glimmered in the reflected light for a brief moment. "I think. . . I want a do-over." Colette let the broken pendant drop.
  24. -==IC: Colette==- Colette attempted to hold back a giggle - it utterly failed. The aura wielder quickly caught the flying Squirtle doll and gently sat it back down on the bed, before she walked over to Zoe with a smile. She gently patted her sister on the head and held out her hand to help her up. "I don't mind." The girl simply said, though she still looked rather amused at the situation. "I'm not mad at you; if you did get curious about my room, honestly, I wouldn't blame you." Colette assessed the messiness of the room again. "Though, I do have to say, I'm rather surprised you could sleep here. I'm surprised I could."
