  1. -==IC: Colette==- Colette stepped through the opening in the fence, as she watched the new opponents approach. Normal rules, I just need to hit them. She hoped that she was right about how Pokemon types worked in the absence of Pokemon Power, and fired off an Aura Sphere as quick as she could at the Mightyena that had caused these problems to begin with. Chloe, meanwhile, was simply watching and waiting for a chance of her own. She eyed the nearby crates, if it needed to come to that.
  2. -==IC: Chloe==- "Almost definitely." Chloe said, as she scanned around where she could see. "All we can do is move forward, though. If there are any, then get ready." Before anyone could ask what she meant, the psychic girl held her hands forward, and concentrated. At first it didn't seem like anything happened, but then shockwaves appeared to force the rusted chain link apart. The breaking fence rang out slightly, and she hoped that it hadn't alerted everyone, but she knew it would have been quieter than any of the alternatives.
  3. -==IC: Colette==- The aura girl thought over the name as Ryan asked. Although she had picked Felicity earlier, she now wondered if that was a fitting name as it was. . . "Her name is Felicia." Colette said after a moment of thought. The Togepi looked up in surprise as she recognized the change of name, but then squealed in happiness, as if approving of the new name too. She then thought over the idea of searching with her powers and nodded slightly. "Are we close to there?"
  4. -==IC: Olivia==- "Th-that's not...!" Olivia cursed herself for being so obvious, yet not making things clear enough. However, when she turned the corner of the hall to follow the man - perhaps to try and make things right or something - he had disappeared as if into thin air. The redhead stood dumbfounded as her eyes couldn't believe what she didn't see. Oh, this ain't good.
  5. -==IC: Olivia==- "Ya sure? I heard a tale once upon a time of a guy who got lost and had to sleep on the floor. I dunno if I'd want that fate to happened to anyone I know." Olivia shrugged slightly, as she got an increasingly sinking feeling she had been caught. She inwardly cursed how conspicuous she had been, and quickly tried to think of ways to salvage this. -==IC: Jenny==- Jenny chuckled slightly, and closed her eyes for a moment. "You know, that sounds like a plan. When he gets back, I think I'll do just that. After all, you can't have too many heroes." She grinned slightly as she thought it over. "First, though, I wanna see you and your sister have your own talk too." -==IC: Colette==- "Sounds like a plan." The girl chuckled slightly, but a puzzled look came across her face for a moment. The kid hadn't been that hammy the night before or on the boat, right? She didn't understand what was up there, but chalked it up to proximity to the Hero of Space. Colette knew that she probably could use focusing on Zoe too, but. . . at this point, she also knew it likely wouldn't be until that night. So instead, she simply quietly followed the group, noticing that Chloe had decided to do much the same, though she seemed to be more impatient and. . . annoyed? The aura wielder decided to leave that alone.
  6. -==IC: Olivia==- Olivia frowned ever so slightly as she caught Sonja's glance. With Lohe's back turned to her, she nodded in acknowledgement, and stood up to follow the man. "I reckon I could help ya find the Executive mentioned!" Olivia called as she hurried to catch up with the man before he vanished. "I mightn't have the map burned into my head like some o' the others, but I can still help point out places to go."
  7. -==IC: Colette==- "Just before we found all of you. She definitely took her sweet time hatching." As Colette was talking, her Togepi first was surprised then grateful for the embrace of the other Togekiss, but then looked at the boy that seemed to have trouble with. . . something? Words? Felicity unsubtly wagged her finger in Xander's direction, but nothing happened. Needless to say, the Togepi pouted a bit. Colette seemed confused as she noticed the Togepi's expression, but that turned to amusement when a scan of her aura revealed most of the emotions leading to that. "Anyway, what mission? If you and that Sonja girl were discussing stuff, I wasn't around for it. Only stuff I heard was the stuff with Ellen."
  8. Nickname: Felicia Species: Togepi Trainer: Colette Gender: Female Appearance: Relatively normal for a Togepi, but with a few green and yellow symbols mixed into the egg too. Personality: Mischievous, but also rather happy-go-lucky most times. Ability: Super Luck Specialty: Aura Reading Known Moves: Extrasensory (Imperfect)(EGG), Lucky Chant (EGG), Metronome, Wish
  9. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe blankly stared at her empty hand for a moment, even as Xander reappeared and Lachina asked her question. Had that really happened? Had that -seriously- just happened? "I don't know." The young woman said with a slight edge to her voice. "Honestly? I haven't really gotten a chance to talk much." Daggers were shot at the other psychic's back, however, as it dawned on her more and more that he effectively just stole her clothes at least temporarily. "We are so going to have words later though." The last sentence, however, she added under her breath. The bright side, she reminded herself, was that this freed hands and backpacks. And at least it saved her from getting overheated with that hoodie. "Anyway, let's move on." The woman followed Xander with a sigh, knowing she needed to focus on the mission instead. OOC: More jams, this time with Evan, to move things along properly here. -==IC: Colette==- The two quickly made their way back to the store with the newfound money from Evan's coat. As the hero of space quickly paid and got the ring in return, Colette waited outside the store. A rustling noise in her backpack caught her attention however, and the girl furrowed her eyebrows as she opened the bag. With a surprised look on her face, the girl quickly set the bag down, and picked up the egg that had been sitting there for a good couple weeks. However, not long after she grabbed the egg, the shell splintered in her hands with a flash of light. When the aura wielder had opened her eyes again, she saw a baby Togepi in her hands instead of the egg. Evan's thoughts zoomed from the ring he had purchased, to the newborn Togepi that Colette now held. "How.....eggs-citing!" The Hero said with a grin. "Seems you've made a new friend, Aura Princess!" The girl nearly jumped in the air with the baby Togepi as Evan spoke, but managed to not drop her. "Yeah. I didn't think that egg would take this long to hatch..." She thought for a moment. "Seems like a Felicity, though. Maybe she'll have a better name later, but..." The Togepi waved her hands in the air happily, seeming to like that name. "Anyway, get what you needed?" Chuckling at her reaction, the young man spoke. "Yeah, I did. I'm certainly glad that didn't take as long as it did." As he spoke, Evan recalled the other reason he came along with Colette on this impromptu shopping trip. It would have been silly to come all this way and forget that. "Well.......maybe not everything that I needed.." He said sheepishly. "See, there was another reason I came to you: I........kinda need help with my power...." "Your power?" The girl blinked slightly. "I don't think there's any shops here that sells "How to be a Hero of Space". . . it doesn't seem like a thing most people would need." Evan sighed, before focusing his thoughts again. "If there was such a book, I'd probably have written it!" He said, chuckling slightly. "But see, I need someone who can........see past normal sight, for a specific part of my power: Spacial Vision." He then, quickly explained what that meant and it's applications, trying to make it make sense to the girl. Colette nodded every few seconds, and then thought for a moment. "Hmm. Well, it sounds almost like it would be activated on command. Like, pretty much thinking about it. But it seems awfully specific too... you could try it by focusing on what you want to see, on whatever anomaly there might be, but I don't know if you'll find anything." Evan nodded at what Colette had stated, and decided to try focusing his vision. He doubted he'd find anything, but he had to give it a shot. He focused on seeing the ripples that denoted teleportation and the like, and for a while, saw nothing. Then, he saw the ripples, his eyes glowing a touch pink as he watched someone wink out and into existence, the ripples continuing to emanate from them as they walked off. "Um, princess, believe it or not, I saw someone teleport." The Hero of Space said, grinning. "And it seems they're going off." He turned to his charge with a grin. "Wanna find out who would be teleporting in the big city?" Colette seemed baffled by the fact that it actually worked. "Okay... then." She slowly nodded, as she now was very curious as to who it could be, and more specifically why someone was teleporting to this city. "Let's go." After not too long of a walk, the two made their way to where Evan had discovered the teleporting person, and the girl noticed a rather familiar group walk out of a cafe. "What are you all doing here?" Colette asked with a slight frown on her face, still holding the Togepi in her arms.
  10. -==IC: Olivia==- Well that wasn't quite what she expected. It made sense, though, so the redhead nodded in acknowledgement. "Alrighty. Guess I shoulda thought y'all would do that." Olivia was admittedly caught off guard at first because of the cold look, but considering everything that had just happened and how it seemed like he probably had thought she meant the actual government to begin, she had to admit a cold look was rather deserved. She also didn't have any other questions, as she figured that she probably should keep quiet and let the others finish up the talking. What the redhead did know, however, was that she was gonna have Chloe ask the Alola questions next time.
  11. -==IC: Chloe==- Somehow, Chloe had only just noticed Xander's outfit. She scanned the outfit, and placed her hand on her hip. Copycat. She thought with a hint of jokingly being disgruntled about how similar it was to her own. Then again, he'd probably just come to the same conclusion she had, so she simply let it go. She wondered whether it'd be a good idea to teleport that far right now, but she had to admit Jared had a point. At the same time, she had a feeling that only some of them would be able to head back. "Ryan, be a dear and keep this bag in your backpack." The young woman smiled slightly as she handed the co-leader the bag that had her casual clothes in it. "Otherwise, I'm ready if everyone else is. If Xander wants to head back, then that might work for the stuff we can't just stuff into backpacks."
  12. -==IC: Olivia==- "So, which of 'em sent ya?" Olivia finally spoke up, curious as she leaned forward slightly. "Those old fogeys all run the island, right? With their traditions and everything? Which sent ya?" She recalled Chloe's old research on the islands - how the girl had once been enamoured with the region of Alola. It had started as merely a school project, but for a year she hadn't let up on wanting to go there. The redhead was pretty certain that if she didn't ask these things, that she would be sleeping on a couch more than she already was by the nature of the Alamo. -==IC: Jenny==- "Well, he's a bit more serious now, but that's mostly just because of what's happened to us over the years. I kinda lost my memory for like four years and moved elsewhere while everyone thought I was dead, and then our parents were thought dead too." Jenny shrugged slightly, a sheepish look on her face. "Things are a little better now, but I remember when Ray used to be like Evan at times - just hammy and off the wall silly." The woman smiled softly at the memory of those times, something she was slowly starting to get back. "Not that things nowadays aren't good - Ray sometimes hounds Evan for tips from time to time I hear. But I feel almost like some things might take time to recover. I almost feel like Ray might be getting his chance to shine. Can't tell what makes me think that, though." Jenny giggled at that, and stretched slightly.
  13. -==IC: Lucia==- "Well this is different...." Lucia mumbled upon seeing the new arrival. Something about the samurai - Samurloch, she corrected herself - really unsettled her. She couldn't place exactly why this thing made her feel more uneasy than the other Instances. Perhaps it was the unsettling differences of it compared to the rest of them. The woman glanced to the side as she noticed how Esen's suit was really looking badly damaged - at least the foot of it. She scurried over to the Flying type specialist, and began to use the Grass Suit's repair effect on Esen's suit. "This definitely went a lot more south than I expected." Lucia kept an eye on the Samurloch as she worked on fixing the jet boot. "We need to find a way to stall these better." -==IC: Ray==- "Nope." Ray noticed the Phantashade that was seemingly trying to eat the girl in the ghost suit. The separatist used his Maneuver Gear to quickly get closer to the two combatants, and quickly fired off two Ice Shards that was aimed to slice through the head, umbilical cord, or most preferably: Both. He wasn't about to let one of the people teamed up with them die, though - even if he didn't even know who she was. -==IC: Jenny==- Jenny giggled in amusement, and patted the younger girl on the head. She totally understood what Zoe had meant by the poorly chosen phrases. "Thank you! Honestly, I'm sure your sister would agree too, from what I've seen." The woman thought back to how Colette had helped her out, and smiled. "I'd be totally up for being an honorary sister, too! I think it'd be fun, especially since my younger brother isn't as much fun nowadays. Don't tell him that, though." Jenny winked at that with a mischievous smile on her face. OOC: Jam with Merc -==IC: Ryan==- After not too long of walking, but yet what felt like an eternity in terms of wanting to go help the others out, Ryan and Aori made it to the evacuation point. The man hoped that the few people present was an indicator that the evacuation was going well thanks to their help, and not that a lot of people had been already killed - or worse. "Here we are. Do you see anyone you recognize?" The girl shook her head, gripping Yuri tighter to her chest. "Nobody I know." Aori looked up at him, biting her lower lip to stop it from trembling. A man in uniform noticed the pair and made his way over, a data pad in his hands. "You two look lost." "I'm here to bring her to evacuate." Ryan glanced over at the uniformed man, and nodded in acknowledgement of what he was doing to help the people. "She was separated from her parents, and we are trying to find out if they are here or not." "What's the family's name?" The soldier flicked his fingers over the pad, apparently bringing up some sort of list. "Yamamoto," the girl said quietly. "Yamamoto . . ." he repeated as he scrolled through the names. "They haven't checked in for evac." Ryan frowned at the information, feeling conflicted as to what to do. "Where are the people sent during evacuation? When will the next boat leave? Is this everyone after this?" "Right now we're sending them to the mainland. We have three more boats ready to go, we just have to finish getting people onto them." The soldier glanced down at Aori, who was clutching Yuri ever tighter. "I can get her aboard a boat and mark her name off, but if the parents haven't arrived by now . . ." The soldier shook his head. Ryan nodded as he glanced down at Aori as well. He felt conflicted, but knew that all he could do at this point was help buy time. "Do you think you can stay on the boat? I'll try my best to be back as soon as possible." He gave a warm smile to attempt to reassure the girl to that. Aori nodded softly, chewing her lip. "You have an important thing to do." Despite her best efforts to sound brave, her voice wavered. "Thank you for helping me." "We have to get the last boat out of here before too much longer." The man glanced at the time. "You probably have half an hour or so, unless we get a sudden rush of stragglers." "You're welcome." Ryan patted the girl's head softly, and then looked over to the uniformed man. "I'll buy enough time. I'll try to be back, but I'll buy as much time as possible. If needed, don't wait too long." The dark suit user said quietly enough so Aori wouldn't hear, and then turned. "See you two later." The other man saluted. "Good luck down there." Aori nodded. "Thank you again. Be careful." With those words of well-wishing, she followed the soldier towards the dock. After a few moments, Ryan walked back toward the city and sent out his Samurott. They would need all the speed they could use here - with a brief look to show that both Ryan and Sammy knew what to do, the man hopped on her back, drew his visor down, and then the two took off toward the city and beach quickly. ---- The speed allowed by the Samurott running by on all fours allowed the armoured man to reach the beach not too long after the new Instances showed up. Ryan had to admit - he did not expect as many instances as was actually there - the fact that everyone seemed to be quickly getting overwhelmed seemed to be a testament to just how much he had missed. The man saw a number of things flash across his screen - had the IMC adopted his scan ability? The Samurai-looking Instance, however, seriously caught his attention. The man frowned ever so slightly - what was this feeling of dread. . .? He noticed the lack of an umbilical cord connecting the Instance to the main body, and gulped slightly. Something didn't feel right about this thing. But why. . .?
  14. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe smiled knowingly at the drink mentioned, but opted to stay quiet for the moment as she wanted Xander to just find the answer out the hard way. Instead, she pulled her Pokegear from her purse and began to search up the research on the Tapu in question. However, she was yanked from her thoughts as she noticed the rest of the group make their appearance known courtesy of the bell. "Here!" The psychic girl waved her hand in the air to catch the attention of the other four, glad for a bit of a reprieve from listening to the Tapu Cocoa saga.
  15. -==IC: Chloe==- "Sounds like a plan." The psychic nodded as she kept the hoodie that went with the outfit into her bag for the moment. She felt it would be needed for keeping a low profile, but in the middle of the summer it was also a good idea to her to not wear that as long as she possibly could. -==IC: Jenny==- "Alas, I have been conquered." Jenny hung her arm over her face in mock defeat, though her giggles gave her away. "The vampire queen was entirely too strong for me. Whatever shall I do now?" Despite her dramatic flare, she was glad that Zoe seemed to be feeling a little better after the play session. This seemed to be pretty much exactly what Zoe needed at that moment, even if it turned out to only be temporary help until things got patched up later.
  16. -==IC: Chloe==- "Uhh, I dunno. Haven't really seen too much yet - can't say either way. He seems okay, but there's only so much you can get in like half an hour or so. We'll see how things go after this mission, but..." While this was all going on, Chloe finished picking out what she wanted, and after eying the sizes quickly went and checked the clothes out. Confident that Xander would take much longer with what she could hear from over there, she went to the dressing room and changed into the new, more adapted to stealth mission outfit, storing her casual clothes in the shopping bag. "You all good over here?"
  17. -==IC: Jenny==- Jenny burst out into a fit of giggles that devolved into a fit of coughing for a bit before returning to giggling. "Sorry, wrong pipe there." The woman said sheepishly amidst being tickle-licked. -==IC: Chloe==- "Huh?" The psychic looked up in confusion from about three aisles over as she thought sure she heard something in the general direction of Xander. However, she quickly went back to selecting the outfit she had in mind if the mission went the way she thought. Though. . . considering how this mission is likely to go knowing our luck, maybe I should try it out today too. . .
  18. -==IC: Colette==- "... What." OOC: Nope, nothing else to see here. -==IC: Colette==- "Sell your coat?" Colette was baffled by the very notion of that. After all, it seemed rather trademark at this point for one, and the other is her general confusion at where that would happen. Though. . . "There is a pawn shop nearby..." The girl said slowly, but seemed confused. "Is that really needed, though? I mean, it looks rather... unique."
  19. -==IC: Chloe==- "If we're all done, we're here." Chloe motioned to the bundle of shops that lay before them. "Who all's getting clothes? You're with me if so." The psychic wanted to make sure they didn't take too long, but... Knowing everyone, this'll take like three hours. Knowing any shops this'll take three hours. They just never seem to have things in the right places or anything, do they? Always making you search around... Despite her mental complaining, Chloe stepped through the doors to the clothing shop with a resigned sigh. -==IC: Jenny==- "Oh no! Whatever shall I do, I'm trapped!" Jenny laughed out as she felt the weight of everyone start to pull her over. With a yelp, that's exactly what happened. Jenny groaned for a moment, and then tapped Zoe with a giggle. "And now the vampire queen has me pinned too!" -==IC: Colette==- Colette didn't answer at first, and pulled out the chain to look at it for a moment. She already knew the answer, but looking at the fragments of the chains at the edge showed that the chain would not be able to be fixed, not without making it too short for her sister to wear. She quickly glanced around the store again, and then sighed. "A locket." The girl finally said, as she held up the remains of the chain and original pendant. "I want to get a gift for Zoe to replace this one. I have a possible idea in mind, but I don't know where to look here. I'd bet my mom hasn't actually been here in years, honestly." The side of her mouth curled up into a half-smile at those last words, but she continued nonetheless. "Maybe the clerk could help, but I get the feeling I'd need like the ultra fancy name for the stuff and such." Evan frowned at the state of the locket in the Aura Wielder's hand. Then he grinned at what Colette had to say. He was not a stranger to being sorta clueless when it came to this, so he'd follow her lead. "I'd say we chase your little idea." He said, still smiling. "So far it seems to be working for us." Colette nodded, and walked up to the counter. She still felt a little nervous, but between the kind look on the clerk's face and her own determination to make this right, she decided to just get on with this. "Do you have any like, heart lockets?" "Certainly!" The clerk led the two over to a case with many assortment of lockets. As the different types were being explained, the girl looked over the different accessories herself - she saw a couple that worked the way she wanted it to, but one in particular caught her eye the most. . . Evan paused. Now or never. "There's also something I....kinda want." The hero said as he held up the pendant that held the Lustrous Shard. "I.......kinda want a better piece of jewelry to have this set in, if you don't mind me taking the chance....." "Certainly - right this way too." The clerk smiled pleasantly as she prepared Colette's purchase. Once she was finished with that, she led Evan off to another part of the store. ---- After Evan's request was finished, the two walked back outside. Colette slid two pictures into the locket, and smiled as she admired it. Yeah... this'll work. She thought as she put the new locket on, and then put her old pendant into the bag they had been given. "Anywhere else you needed to head to while we're here, Garchomp man?"
  20. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe glanced over at the sound of Ryan's voice as he gave his comment. A frown crossed her face, as it sounded almost like he was jealous. "Doesn't mean you can't help. Sure we've been fighting alongside our Pokemon for the past year to get to where we are now, but that doesn't mean we're magically helpless without them, or that you're any more helpless because you don't have powers." -==IC: Jenny==- Jenny shrieked out half in surprise, and half in mock terror. She winked to her Scizor, who just watched the scene with a baffled look on her face. "Oh no! Whatever shall I do? Must I be victim to a vampire?" She cried out, and then began to walk into the sun some more. "Perhaps this may help me! But my strength...!" Her steps slowed dramatically as she played it up with an amused smile on her face. "I fear I won't be able to stop this evil vampire!"
  21. -==IC: Colette==- "Heh heh heh. . ." That was the girl's answer, as she led the way. Colette hummed to herself as she stayed quiet about their destination. "My mom told me about a place here. I won't say what, though, think of it as a surprise." "A surprise, huh?" Evan said, grinning a bit at the girl's laughter. "I shouldn't be surprised, considering you seem to be full of them." He laughed heartily. "Lead on then, I look forward to seeing just what you are up to!" Not long after, they reached the entrance to a jewelry store. Colette didn't make a comment about the fact that Evan had actually guessed right - partially because she had already gone into the store. She stopped suddenly, however, as she looked around. She had absolutely no clue where to start looking for what she needed. That said, considering all that Evan had said moments before, she had her doubts that he would know any better. She couldn't give up here, though, even if she needed to search the entire store with a fine tooth comb.
  22. -==IC: Chloe==- Chloe wore a contemplative look as she thought over the answer to that question. "I can't really say for sure. I guess it was all the support pretty much everyone who knew me gave after I showed back up." The young woman shrugged, as she awkwardly laughed. "Putting my dad behind bars finally helped a lot too, but honestly I don't think I could've pulled back through things if it weren't for you guys reassuring me that it wasn't my fault and otherwise not blaming me." She fell silent for a few moments, and looked up to the sky with a smile. "Ellen helped there too. That's what I was trying to help remind her of back there. The six months were hard, though; like, you could be the most confident person, or the best at faking it, but if something shatters everything then nothing will help that. But anything's possible and this just proved it. Anyone can pull through with the help of others." Chloe looked forward as she saw the outline of where they were headed in the distance. "I still feel like there's a small burden, but it's honestly made me more determined to make things right. Plus, I guarantee that there won't be a repeat of what happened since I've been actually training my powers." The psychic giggled and placed her hands behind her head as she walked forward confidently. -==IC: Jenny==- After what felt like a long walk, the duo reached the edge of the trees and Jenny let out a happy laugh. "Finally! It's been three thousand years since I saw the sun!" She said dramatically, and then turned toward Zoe. "Be careful! Who knows what that forest might have done to you... you may be a vampire now!" -==IC: Colette==- The girl blinked for a moment, and then put a finger to her chin, as a slightly mischievous smile crept onto her face. "Something you could help with, hm?" Colette had to admit to herself that most of the things she needed now she already had a plan for. But there were still things that could be helped with. "Alright then, follow me." Her expression returned to her neutral state, but inwardly she was cackling like a mad scientist. Company would be nice, after all. . . - - - - "So we're going on a shopping trip?" The voice of Evan Tierra sounded bewildered even as the two headed toward the west side of the shopping district in Keturi City. "Yup." "Um, all right?" Colette smiled in slight amusement at precisely how out-of-his-element Evan sounded. She quickened her pace as they approached and thought about the places her mother had recommended for what she wanted to find. "This way! I think I see the first place." -==IC: Lucia==- Well that was ominous. Lucia had not actually expected the sigils to keep appearing, let alone in that number. The sudden burst of powder onto her armour didn't help her any, as while it didn't seem to do anything, she had this distinct feeling that it sticking to the green suit did not bode well at all. The woman held her arm out, as she moved to shoot out Spores at the Terminite and that one Minotore that was headed their way. At the same time, she quickly activated the Cotton Guard protocol to increase her defense. OOC: Lucia: Spore > Terminite & Minotore Cotton Guard > Self Defense +3 -==IC: Ray==- "Right." Ray appeared uneasy still, but nodded to show his acknowledgement before he headed off toward the beach. "Good luck, sir. I hope you find him." The young man seemed surprised as he got to the beach and discovered just how chaotic it had gotten while they were recovering. It was like the weather was fighting itself, not sure what it should be doing. The sheer amount of things currently on the beach wasn't helping the feeling of it being chaotic. Ray attempted to find a good area to attack from, but felt as if he was out in the open no matter what he did. He quickly fired off an Icicle Spear toward the Maniakoll, if at least to keep it preoccupied until someone else could deal with it. OOC: Ray: Icicle Spear > Maniakoll -==IC: Ryan==- "Just one moment." Ryan gave a kind smile to Aori, and opened up a comm link to Sleight. "Sir, requesting permission to escort a bystander to the evacuation zone. We found her in a collapsing building and I don't believe she can make it back on her own." "Affirmative - go ahead." The response crackled over the comm channel, and Ryan nodded. "Roger that." Ryan moved the faceplate away, and then looked back to Aori. "Alright, let's head out quickly."
  23. -==IC: Colette==- Dodge! Colette quickly stepped to the side without missing a beat as she saw something head toward her at a bullet-like speed. She blinked slightly as she turned her head to see what just happened and saw a posing Garchomp-Man. What. It took a brief moment for the situation to finally clear up, but what Evan said added that confusion right back. "Someone told you to check on me? I'm not sure who that'd be. I can guess why, but I don't think anyone was around there..." Colette tilted her head and scratched it slightly.
  24. -==IC: Taylor==- "Sounds like a great idea!" Taylor didn't seem to notice the chuckle, or at the least didn't seem to mind it. "I have no clue where anything or anyone here is, so traveling with someone else at least makes that better." She knew that she needed to check in on the others, but the fact that the Alamo seemed to be okay other than it being so busy meant that she could at least take her time. "Lead on, Claus!" -==IC: Colette==- After what felt like forever, Colette finally reached her mother's office. She took a deep breath, knocked on the door and opened it, and then walked inside. Her mother looked up from her paperwork in surprise as the girl entered, and frowned slightly. "Are you alright? . . . Have you been crying? What happened?" Molly stood up quickly and walked over to her daughter, as Colette kept quiet. The girl bit her lip as her nervousness about explaining what happened returned. Thankfully, although she could tell that her mother had noticed the new clothes, she wasn't questioned about it. "Zoe and I... had a fight." Colette chose her words carefully, but saw that her mother expected her to continue. The girl took a deep breath. "We got into an argument over how I've been distant recently, and then how I was hanging out with others today. She accused me of being an aura wielder before a sister and I half believe it's true. . . but that's what I want to change anyway. I don't want to just keep putting all this stuff over her, for me to just be pushing people away because I feel like I fail people almost. But I couldn't explain it..." Molly stayed quiet for a while, though she seemed surprised by everything mentioned. She gave her daughter a tight hug for a moment, but then smiled. "I'm sure you two can work things out. Is there anything you would like to know?" "I just... I need advice. I need anything that might be able to help." Colette held up the broken pendant, a sad look on her face. "I feel like this might be unable to be fixed without a lot of work. So I want a path that I could try. Anything at all. Anything to show that I still care, that I want to try to be me first." The aura wielder sighed, as she glanced down toward the ground. "I've been trying to show myself more, to not base myself on others, but I feel like I've failed in that." "Sweetie, you're doing fine. I'll admit that I was surprised when you showed up last night with that new hairdo, and you certainly shocked me with that new outfit today, but. . . I can feel your intent when I look and see you now. You seem more confident, even during this. You don't seem over confident, but like you have a purpose in mind, a goal to work toward." Molly smiled as she gave Colette a hug again. "I know Zoe will see your side. I'm certain she has her own reasons too, but is maybe having a hard time with things herself. It's likely you two want the exact same thing, but the situation is obscuring that." After a moment, the mother stepped back and turned toward her desk. She picked up a picture that had the family present and smiled softly at it. "So here's my idea. Keep doing what you're doing. I'll help you out too. Here are some ways that might help with things. This one is your choice, but. . ." ---- A while later, Colette stepped out of the room and took a deep breath as she looked out the window on the opposite side of the hall. The light reflected off her eyes and seemed to give her a confident glint. She smiled confidently. Wait for me, sis. I'll make this right.
  25. -==IC: Olivia==- "About that. . ." Olivia laughed a little nervously, as she remembered where she had found Lohe in the first place. "Ya might've wanted to have been a bit clearer on that..." She bit her lip. "I'd reckon that the ones at the front entrance would help ya out there, if there ain't an issue or anythin'. Dunno if any of y'all from Alola have come here or not, but tha' shouldn't be a problem I'd think." The young woman shook her head, as she focused on the other parts of the discussion. "I heard somethin' 'bout a mission, but it wouldn't take all day I'd think. Ya coulda had a nap while waitin' for them." -==IC: Taylor==- "I could bet..." The girl frowned ever so slightly as she recalled all that she'd heard on the news. "First Pokemon moves don't work, and then that stuff on the news about Two Island. What's even going on, I wonder?" Taylor sighed for a moment, as her smile reappeared. "Maybe we could take our minds off things, then? I dunno how exactly since Pokemon can't attack, but maybe you might have something in mind?" Without waiting for an answer, she put a finger to her lip and looked to the ceiling. "Maybe we could look around? Though you might be in a hurry somewhere. Or, oh, maybe grabbing something to eat! But you might have already eaten since it's kinda late now... Or, hmm, checking out the sights! ...probably too boring, though..."
