  1. Umm, do you think it's possible for me to point out something that feels a little odd without it seeming like complaining or so? =/
  2. Blade noticed that everyone was still attacking each other, and bit her lip as she debated what to do, but decided the upsides were worth the downsides. Time for Nova! She thought to herself, as she let loose another charged burst of electricity.
  3. After having recovered from her own attack, Blade felt a little miffed that somehow things had not affected the people who were directly nearby. Figuring that it was due to some water related shenanigans, and deciding to push her luck after dodging out of the way of the fire blast that somehow worked under water, she charged up another high power electric attack as quick as she could, firing off just as just saw Nato appear from behind TimeLord. Bugger.
  4. OOC: Yeah, that part definitely was troublesome, though... there's this part everyone forgot about. >=) IC: Blade managed to make it to the middle of the city unhindered, as she smiled evilly. The last time she had done this, she had held back and things had gone... interestingly, to say the least. This time, though... she was not about to hold back. The fighter focused her lightning powers inside of her, charging up the voltage slowly and steadily while keeping her barrier up. She had seen not a single trace of anyone that could truly interfere, and a soft azure glow began to appear around her. The electric user felt her charge quickly rising, and knew that she was about to be ready. "Time... for... NOVA." With a fierce clap, Blade slammed her hands together, releasing her lightning power with a thunderous roar, intending to send it jolting through the water in the entire city with everything that she had built up.
  5. OOC: Say, Tekulo, Tex, how big would you say the city is?
  6. Blade's eyes opened as the torrential water subsided and she found herself breathing water. Excellent... The fighter began to swim toward the center of the city, intent to get into the best spot for her next move...
  7. OOC: Wait, how is the inside dry, and still dry as the entire ocean is flooding in from the flood? .-.
  8. Blade panted as she ran toward the building, but skidded to a stop, as something seemed... off. The fighter glanced up, and then grinned a very wide grin.
  9. Blade barely managed to dodge out of the way of the bullets, getting multiple slices across her face and hands, but the fighter quickly attempted to position herself beneath Vox. If she managed it... she was going to clap her hands together and send the charged electricity roaring upward to have the zapper meet the bug.
  10. Blade reacted quickly, as her already hurt left arm was grazed by the Boltikon bullets. Trying her best to dodge away from the rest of the bullets, she tried to close the distance while she charged up lightning ball in her two hands, ready to unleash her power once she was a little closer. And if that bubble could be popped...
  11. Blade panted, as she let her hand fall to her side. She felt she could still use it, but she couldn't deny that the claws had dealt a lot more damage than she anticipated. However, she also noticed during that attack that the sword strikes were doing nothing in comparison. Blade quickly sheathed her sword, and fired off a bolt of lightning toward Vox, figuring that those attacks were doing more to hurt the insectoid than anything else she was doing so far.
  12. Blade yelped in surprise as she felt the claws digging against her shoulder even more, causing pain even through the barrier. She kept as much focus on both the barrier and her electricity, as she attempted to swing her electrified sword up the insectoid, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she could either knock him away, or deal more damage.
  13. OOC: Skin-tight, yes; you could basically think of it like a sort of 'iron skin' thing or something. ^^ IC: Blade was surprised as Vox jumped forward, but regained her composure enough to attempt to lunge forward herself. As the insectoid grabbed her shoulder, he tried to grab onto one of his other arms. The fighter wanted to make sure that she could hold on even as Vox attempted to throw her away, and then at the proper moment, would try to electrify the bug... if her plan worked.
  14. -==IC: Chloe==- The psychic girl nodded in response. "Yeah, I'd guess that one of them frequents the labs or so, but finding their contact info would likely be much faster than individually checking." Chloe thought things over as she received the message from Kyle, and then nodded to herself. "We'll head over to the records room, that should have something to help us out. We'll meet my friend there in a bit, hopefully; he has to talk to someone first, though." As she quickly typed up a reply to Kyle, her Pokegear beeped once again, causing the girl to bite her lip. I'm very popular today, apparently... She noted to herself with a rueful smile, and then glanced at the message. "Hmm, maybe we might have some more help, too..." Chloe quickly typed up a response to Evan as well, wondering what his stuff was all about. -==IC: Ray==- "Yeah..." Ray seemed to falter for a moment, but then gave a smile after that. "I should, um, go to figure this stuff out now. See ya." The man wanted to talk to Jenny for a bit, but she seemed to be pre-occupied, and didn't want to interrupt. As Ray quickly walked off, his smile turned to a frown, as he thought about the others. He wanted to talk with them all, but at this point, it just... the Separatist didn't feel like anyone actually trusted him anymore, outside the few people he had talked to already that day. -==IC: Jenny==- Jenny walked over to Colette as she tried to tune out what the others were talking for the moment. The younger girl seemed distant from what the redhead could tell, but that didn't dissuade her from trying. Colette glanced up uneasily as Jenny approached, but offered nothing to begin the conversation herself. "So, how's it going?" Jenny asked with a reassuring smile. She was met with silence as she watched Colette lean against the wall and look away. "... That well, huh? Anything I could do to help?" "I do not think there is." The aura wielder said finally, and glanced past Jenny's shoulder to where Amanda was. Jenny took the hint and nodded, as she tried to think up a game plan. "Alright, how about we go for a walk for a bit, then?" Colette rubbed her arm nervously, but then nodded after a moment's hesitation. The two women walked further down the hall and out of earshot of the other two Plasma agents. Jenny waited patiently for the silence to be broken, but it felt like it would go on forever. Finally, she decided that if she didn't speak, then this would be a morbidly quiet tour of the Alamo. "So... how are you, honestly? I bet it's been tough, hasn't it? I mean, you've had your powers for a while, right? Losing them must have been a shock..." The redhead glanced over as Colette kept quiet and noticed that the young girl was staring sadly at an aura sphere in her hand. For a moment, Jenny wondered if she had said too much. "I just don't know what to do." Colette said quietly as she closed her hand over the Aura Sphere, the energy dissipating once again. "It's not just the shock of the powers, but everything. We're fighting things that are unknown, who we thought was the enemy was secretly on our side even despite causing so many stupid issues, there's a clown, I haven't talked to my sister in so long, and I just... I don't know what to do." Jenny watched as the girl closed her eyes tightly. "I just feel like I need to do things to help, but everything I can think of just feels... too exhausting, or that I'll screw something up, and every time I try to think, I worry that my family will be the next people who are hurt because we can't fight. That their voices will be the next screams I hear." Jenny stayed quiet as they came to a stop outside the dorms. "It's a tough thing, yeah. It's okay to be scared over the unknown, to be worried and everything. I... I actually had to take a little while to just keep to myself. The last little while has been hard for many reasons, but I've had to keep strong for the others. And I'll continue to keep strong, but that doesn't mean I don't feel that way inside." The redhead felt Colette's eyes on her as she said that, but knew she had to continue. "I worry about everyone, every day. I worry that we'll not make it through, especially after everything I've been through. I worry that my memories will never completely return, and with things so uncertain now, I might never remember some of the best times with my own family; with Ray or my parents, or even my old friends. I worry that we'll lose ourselves, or be killed at any moment, especially with everything recently. Every time someone is hurt stresses me out more and more. I have to keep strong, because that's how everyone sees me, though. I have to keep going not just for everyone, but for myself to. I have to keep fighting with a smile, to fight off my fear too, that maybe I'll never see anyone I love again. That maybe the next time I wake up, I won't even remember anyone I love, again. It doesn't always work, but... it's what I need to do." Colette stayed quiet as Jenny looked over again. The younger girl seemed to be taking in what was said, but looked to the floor. "I don't feel strong enough in any way to be able to do that, though... I don't even feel like I can trust my own powers. I almost feel... scared of them. As if they'll never be enough to fight what we need to fight." Colette bit her lip, as she shook her head. "I've just been in too many situations recently where I feel like I just made matters worse. If I had just kept quiet, maybe the fight in the egg could have somehow gone differently. If I had just kept quiet, maybe Alexa wouldn't have wandered off and gotten taken by the Unown. If I had just been stronger, if I had better control over my own powers, then maybe people wouldn't have been killed. . ." "You can't worry about the what-ifs." Jenny said sternly, which prompted Colette to look up in surprise. "If you just fall into that trap, then you'll never grow confident enough. You need to look at what the immediate thing is. In cases like this, dwelling on the past will only make things worse, only look to it to see how to grow from it. Now, I ask you... what do you fight for? What do you want to use your powers for?" The hall grew silent once again, as the question hung in the air, but try as she might, Colette could not think of a specific thing to say.
  15. Blade let go despite the barrier blocking any wounds from the slash, and scrambled to her feet. "You too; I wasn't expecting to be dive-bombed. This should be fun." She said, as she held her sword in front of her, the blade crackling with electricity once again. The fighter shifted her stance briefly, and then leaped toward Voxumo, preparing to slash out at the insectoid as soon as she was close enough.
  16. Blade glanced back as she thought she heard a sound through the air. A split second before the crash, the fighter managed to activate her barrier, but still fell to the ground, pinned for the moment. "What... the..." Blade gasped out at the weight of Vox, as she barely managed to keep herself from getting pierced by the talons, but still felt the pain of... everything else. "Fine..." She reached up to Vox's arm with her free hand, electricity crackling around her hand as she attempted to grab him and send her lightning flowing right through him.
  17. Blade growled as the TimeLord suddenly vanished into a portal. She began to run off, wondering where the fighter could have gone. She felt that this 'reality lock' was a bit silly, but had more things to worry about. Blade held her sword to the side as she ran, ready to slash out at the first target she found.
  18. Blade frowned, as she jumped back. This would take some trickery to pull off. The fighter slashed her sword forward and released an arc of lightning from the blade of the sword that was intended to hit Timelord square in everything. And if he tried opening a portal again, then Blade would take her opportunity to attack while distracted.
  19. They probably have a lot of stuff for E3 considering there's still a lot that has stuff in question marks, there's still two months until it, and... there's honestly some oddities about the 3DS still being pushed as much as it is. Like, I think Nintendo's making it pretty obvious that the Switch, while it's got the handheld feature, isn't intended to be the 3DS's direct replacement. Which... makes me think that either there's something up there, or we're seeing a more portable Switch-esque machine, perhaps with Dual Screens again, as the 3DS' successor at/near E3.
  20. I wonder when we'll get news.........
  21. OOC: wait, how does a portal near the chest block something near the shoulder? How big even is this thing? .-.
  22. Blade took that chance to jump above the range of the hammer, and while TimeLord was in the middle of the swing, she stabbed toward his shoulder quickly, aiming to attack without giving any openings for the TimeLord to abuse.
  23. Blade seemed puzzled as she saw the lightning bounce off of something. Confused, she drew her sword instead and slowly circled around Timelord, even as she made sure to be ready to activate her barrier if she needed to. Adjusting her sword's grip, Blade dashed forward, and attempted to swing her sword up at Timelord's hammer arm, electrifying the blade of her sword in the process with her lightning powers.
  24. -==IC: Lucia==- Lucia was surprised for a moment by the suddenness of Jamie's comment. However, she smiled at the Hero and gave a brief nod. Lucia glanced over at Shannon, and frowned slightly. She watched as Ryan absentmindedly patted the Eevee on the head for a moment and then passed the tiny Pokemon back to Shannon wordlessly, and for a moment, the healer felt the tension in the room rising. "Then I'll keep an eye on Ryan and everyone else I can." Lucia gave a small shrug to try and preempt any arguments. "But I feel like you're both being too hard-headed." The healer gave a hard look at both Ryan and Shannon. While both points were valid, she had to admit that Shannon was being a bit too stubborn at the moment.
