So what if I name my computers?

    err, whatever.

Anyways, to begin let me tell you about my family's nutty computers...

Oldie: Our oldest one, is a Pentium with windows 98 and no internet connection.
Freezy: The one I always use, it's a pentium three with windows 2000. And it freezes up like Karz.
Glitchy: Our newest one, it's a Pentium four with windows XP. And a glitch in the graphics card that annoys me to no end. And just recently it lost internet connection.

So my dad somehow wipes it by accident.

And I'm like "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!" Because I just lost a ton of stuff I had on there. Fortunately i don't use glitchy much, so I didn't lose everything!

Anyways, besides that, I'm beginning to fall a bit behind oin my nanowrimo word count (I believe I have a little over a thousand words written)

Oh, and banging your head into a scanner hurts!

Also, I managed to get some RPG Making in, and the minigame I designed isn't half bad...

Is it my imagination or does this site have like one tenth the activity level it used to?

I know for one thing that two thirds the people I used to know are inactive. :/

Yes, I really don't have anything else to blog about.

-Zarayna: Is hyped up from reading the quoted post.

EDIT: I forgot, I DO have something to blog about. My latest epic, Assassin of Stelt, has been posted! You BZPRPG folk may remember my character Zarayna. Well here he is.

The music video is just awesome.

I must say, it was interesting.

Please tell me I'm not the only person who thought that guy with the hood at the start looked like Aragorn.

Anyone who goes into Comedies will have most likely seen the CCC Awards thing.

My question. Would anyone like to see something like that done, only in SS?

EDIT: pollified. Vote on it here.

Despite my dislike of Greek mythology, it was actually pretty good. It was in shades of gray, and I totally sympathized with humans.

On another note, my ear is getting better. My hearing has increased, and it's less painful. Although I'm still feeling exhausted. I might be able to get a few reviews up, and perhaps even finish the first chapter of my upcoming comedy. hopefully, I'll be back to normal in a few days; but in the meantime, being forced to lie around on a beautiful day is annoying.

Also, the about me content block has been updated.

Yeah, two comedies I've been planning for a while.

    Survival of the fittest.

Who ever said that a home is safe? Evo and Stormer 2.00 certainly haven't, as they fight a running battle across their owner's house, leaving a trail of crushed plastic and half built sets behind them. Can they survive? Or will the murderous Bionicle sets, led by the merciless Toa Takanuva achieve their mission, and wipe all Hero Factory sets from the face of my collection?

    Return of the grammar nazi

Long ago, the Matoran of Mata Nui struck out against their evil overlord, the Makuta, and in return, he crushed their armies, and laid them under a curse. The curse of chatspeak. Legends spoke of their only hope. Toa Angath, Toa of grammar. It was said that he was the only one who could teach the Matoran the flawless grammar of their past.

But Makuta knew of this legend as well, and was always watching for this Toa.

    Then, one day, Angath came.

But Makuta was ready, and bombarded him with spelling error cannons, until he was forced to flee into the jungle.

Now he must survive in a hostile world, with his quest to save Matorankind looking harder and harder by the day.

If i can keep these from turning into epics, they might appear in Comedies soon.

So a friend posted the lyrics of the aforementioned song online, and I got a nostalgia blast: specifically because it reminded me of a hauntingly amazing story I had read years ago: Tahu's Concrete Angel, by Saya. And now I don't have to warn of an archive link! It's really good to see improvements like this happening.

But that aside, that story is epic. Just saying.

Was just reading Lady K's Consideration in Posting blog entry. It may be directed at GA, but I find it fits the current state of the library (Not talking about comedies, I have no idea what's going on over there.) very well.

Who thinks I should try to start up something like a COT Critics Club? Not sure if it would be solely for stories, or if I would allow people to request reviews for artwork and etc.

    Planning my first COTRPG.

So if it all goes well, I'll have the first draft of my RTanger's Apprentice based RPG in the planning topic tomorrow.

    -Ranged weapon system. Fully functional.
-Melee weapon system. 90% complete. the system itself has been made, I just need to set it up to kill the lions, and I also need a better sprite for the sword.
-Grenades: 100%. They attack at random, but there's only a one in ten chance of them hitting an enemy if it's the only one left.
-Respawn for enemies: I'm saying about 10%. The prototype has been made, but it needs a lot of improvement.
-Display bar, to feature weapons equipped, and HP and MP remaining. 40% complete. It still needs a lot of work.

    Known glitches

Arrow turns in midflight. Happens rarely, and I have no idea how to fix it, short of tearing the event apart, and i can't do that.
    Arrow slows down drastically. Unfixable.
Some lions have more then 10 HP. I have no idea why, but they do. I have yet to find the error.

Hopefully, I'll have it ready and up in a week or so.

People, they're original Comedies, not plagiarization. Because, you know, all stories are based in some ways off others. Movie spoofs, Ask comedies, and a million others. Just because they aren't as good as the original Curse you comedy in your book, that doesn't mean they aren't better, it doesn't mean they stink, and it doesn't mean you can insult them mindlessly.

So yeah, chill out people, and give honest reviews on the comedy itself. If the only things you have to say are deconstructive and negative, then read and leave; don't post, get the Karz outa there if you have nothing good to say.

    Thank you.

Yeah, Aderia got me to listen to it yesterday, and i have only one word for it: Meh.

I mean, it's a good band, but I don't like them. Just not my style of music... I listened to Come to My Heaven, and N0o More Words, then I opened windows media and started listening to Imaginary by Evanescence instead.

And on a somewhat related note: Adders also got me to listen to Evanescence. Overall, I like some of them, but I find most overly depressing. And the Latin chanting in Whispers weirded me out. Imaginary, Tourniquet, and a few others are good.

Dwah, the BZPRPG reboot is up, and it annoys me. Yeah, it's awesome. But it's so fast. I can't keep on top of anything, let alone trying to RP in WZ as well....

But i still advise people to join it, and make sure you don't play too many RPGs at a time. (WZ needs some new members!)

The doom I sought to avert has come upon me; my philosophy teacher assigned us readings from Richard Dawkins.

Here's hoping I don't throw up halfway through them.

    NOTE:

The very fact that I am in a philosophy class, and have been since September infers quite strongly that i have read a number of works I disagree with as much as I disagree with Dawkins. I have. I read works that I disagree with, from Protestant writings to those of atheists. It's not precisely Dawkins' views that set me off as much As a general overall feeling; it's non-discursive. I had the same problem with a few other articles, so I'll probably end up skimming it, best policy.

And yes guys, I like making dry overstatements. What I don't like is forgetting that I'm not speaking IRL, so people can't understand how I'm saying what I'm saying.

Also no, my philosophy teacher is quite good, and I both respect and agree with his views. Just sayin'.

Your depiction of frost giants is completely despicable.

In other words, I watched Avengers. It was okay. Not extremely good, but decent. I found that I could stand Tony Stark this time.

Since BZP was down for a few days, I couldn't get in any blog entries

    Entry part one:

Just got back from a weekend father&son camping trip at the Franciscan Frairy in Griswold CT.
Staying up all night around a fire has never been more fun.

And Nightwatch on the second night was just as awesome!

Ah. A nice night of defending the fires against five or so Friars and adults. Although working on about a half hour to an hour of sleep wasn't that fun (I was a walking zombie on Sunday.)

Entry part two: I got my retainers on Monday. Personally I liked braces better

Entry part three: It seems I'm becoming addicted to Breaking Benjamen. I wonder. Will I like it better then Skillet?

    Nah.... No way...

So, not only did my only up to date copy of the story I'm working on (106 pages last I checked) get corrupted to the point where I was unable to recover anything, but it completely vanished during an attempted recovery.

Fortunately, I have a draft I sent to my brother on the 16th, so I didn't lose too much. Some of the scenes will be a little hard to replicate. Overall, an annoying loss, and definitely a headache filled evening.

Rewriting. Euh. That about sums up how I feel. I think I'll sacrifice some sleep and curl up with a snack and a good book in a last ditch attempt to save something of the evening/night.

Speaking of evenings, I wrote the first SS I've done in a while, a CoT one at that. I present An Assassin's Reflections.

LIKE, HI. WHAT'S UP? OH YES, THE FORUMS ARE! *canned laughter*

Erm, let's ignore that lame start.

Well well, a half year it took, but it's good to see this again. I can't say the current skin appeals to me, in fact to be honest, I dislike it, but I have my blog back, and BZP is back. So I'm happy.

A thanks to the staff who managed to get this thing back up.

    NOW, some much belated news.

    1) If you expected me to flood in new stories, don't. I've been having writer's block these past months; life's been mean to me, and BZP being down didn't help.
    2) the Short Stories Awards will be revamped and restarted, once I get used to the new forums and get together with RM. Stories less than a year old as of May 1st can be nominated, and you can use the old topic for categories if you want a head start.
    3) I have some stories in the works and the new forums just might get me to finish them.
    4) OMN THE FORUMS ARE BACK YAY!!!!!!!!!
    5) I'm tempted to listen to 30 Second to Mars and start again with a brand new name, Any suggestions?

PM me if you want to catch up on stuff, btw

    Your very hyper POBZPC,
