  1. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek'"Well, we're fine for now," Yerith said, sitting down on his bed. "Right now all I could use is a nap."He lay back on his bed.Yu'rek snorted a laugh."Old men and their naps," he murmured, smiling.Yerith grinned. It was good to be called an old man again. Even if it wasn't by Pordal.
  2. OOC: I can create another evil guy.IC: Solaris, Miritala, Nik-Kolii"Well, hello there," Solaris mumbled to the newcomer. "Can't imagine a person who doesn't like parties... or fire..."Miritala gave a brief smile in Barricade's direction."What says ya we get you to bed so that you can dream your memory back?" Solaris said to Miritala. She raised an eyebrow at the statement, but figured out exactly what it meant a second later."Where would I sleep, anyways?" she asked, eyes briefly flitting to The Rel."We could find an inn in town," Solaris suggested.Nik-Kolii, somewhere else in the forest, applied the poulticed bandages to his battle-Gukko."You will be all right," he whispered to the bird. "Who is father's good bird? You are!"He wouldn't admit it to the rest of the team, but he had a soft spot for the bird and wouldn't be able to live without it. It was like a child to him.He finished the bandages and sat down, leaning against a tree and took a nap.
  3. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"Well, it's a lovely home," Yerith stated, looking at the hut. He remembered his old lovely hut back out in the southern islands of the Matoran Universe. Back with his family... But now was time to focus on the mission.Yu'rek saw his captain's pause. Probably just reminiscing. He did that a lot when one of his teammates died. Considering the circumstances, (Yu'rek only being alive to prove his loyalty) he hoped that if he was to die in battle Yerith would reminisce about him.For now, he nodded in agreement to Yerith's statement. It was a lovely home.
  4. IC: Miritala, Solaris"Well, perhaps you guys can help me get my memory back," she said, giving a cute look up at all of them. Her gaze lasted particularly with The Rel character. He seemed like a nice guy. "You say this stuff happens a lot. Well, Solaris told me that he got most of his memory back when we ran into each other a few days ago.""Ah, yes," Solaris said, just about giving up on hitting on her. "That'd be the large amount of dreams everyone on this island has. You'll remember everything in no time."
  5. IC: Miritala, Solaris, Miptel"Well, Dervian," she said, placing a hand on his arm. "I have my eyes set on someone."Solaris opened his mouth."And I'm not telling," Miritala added. "And an assassination plot against... uh... Solaris. I don't remember a thing from my past.""Another one of these," Mip sighed to himself.
  6. OOC: I'd though that's what you'd say.IC: Solaris, Miptel, Miritala, The Rel"Yes, we came to ask you out," Solaris said. "But you can only choose one of us. [cough]me[cough].""Don't smother her," Mip scolded everyone. "The clear choice is me. Right.""I'd rather not say," Miritala mumbled, eyeing the silent Toa of Plasma standing in the back of the group."This behavior is ridiculous," The Rel sighed."I'll say," Miritala agreed, walking up to it.The Rel looked down at her, as it was a bit taller than her."At least someone sees my point of view," it sighed. "We should introduce ourselves. I am The Rel. You have met my colleagues, Mip the short one who thinks he's cute, and Solaris who thinks you're going to kill him."It noticed them blush."And these are the rest of the Toa Xanthium," it continued, gesturing to the other Toa. "You guys introduce yourselves, I'm not doing all that work."
  7. IC: Yerith"That sounds lovely, Daylah," Yerith said. "We'd love a room. Just show us the way."He rubbed his back. He was afraid to admit it, but Yu'rek was right: it was a hard landing. And he was getting old.
  8. IC: Solaris, Miritala, Miptel, The RelSolaris sighed at Tahuva's impatience. Ironically, it was a sigh of impatience."Well, she should be somewhere..." he said, looking into the Charred Forest, nearby.Miritala had absentmindedly wandered through the Wahi, ending up near the Ko-Wahi border. There, she saw that cute group of Toa. She waved."Before the two of you say anything," The Rel stated, putting a hand on Solaris and Mip's shoulders, "I will kill you if you start arguing about that [censored] waving."Mip shrugged and walked up to Miritala.Solaris, possessing longer legs, beat Mip there."How do you do?" he asked, taking the Ga-Toa's right hand and kissing it."Oh," Miritala said, smiling brightly at the gesture. "I though I might find you boys here."OOC: Well, the time to vote is now. Is she going to hit on Mip or The Rel?
  9. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"Well, we don't need much," Yerith said. "But I would like to know your name. I'm Captain Yerith, I often go by my codename: Price. My quiet friend over here is Yu'rek."Yu'rek gave a small wave."Other than that, you know any really good inns in town?" Yerith asked.
  10. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"Spirits?" Yerith said, trying politely not to laugh. "No, we're special forces Toa from a distant place. We were tracking down an old enemy who built his fortress near Mount Ihu a few weeks ago. You probably wouldn't notice it. It was a bit secluded. The only way to get in was by jumping over the walls, so we found a ledge, made some parachutes and infiltrated the place. We gathered some intel and got back out. The bridge was tactically destroyed, but it was the only walking way out, so we jumped off, used our backup parachutes, were caught in an updraft, and landed here."Told you it was a long story. That's the short version. But we are far from Mata Nui-sent spirits."Considering how many brutal missions they had been sent on, Yu'rek let out a brief chuckle at Yerith's last statement.
  11. IC: Solaris, Miptel, The Rel"Well, it's been five minutes," Solaris said, turning toward Ta-Koro.Mip threw a snowball at Solaris to continue the fight.Solaris was knocked over by both Tahuva's and Mip's snowballs. Mip was accurate, Tahuva was powerful, and Solaris faceplanted in the snow. The Rel stepped out of the way of Tahuva's frosty projectile and flung more of his own at Tahuva.
  12. IC: Yerith, Yu'rekThe Toa of Iron took another step backwards."Is something wrong?" he asked. "Was it something we said?"Yu'rek decided to keep his mouth shut once more.
  13. IC: Solaris, Miptel, The RelSolaris was hit by one of Dervian's snowballs but recovered quickly, throwing a snowball at Mip.Mip took two hits from Kahua and Solaris. He seemed to be quite the sniper AND the target. One more volley. The Rel wasn't able to detect Kahua's throw and was struck in the back of the head with a snowball. His head bounced around for a moment, but his face showed no emotion. Then he picked up one of his pre-made snowballs and launched it at Kahua. He then returned to standing still.
  14. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"We're fine," Yerith said, wiping the sweat off of his brow. "Just had a bit of a battle up in the foothills."Then he turned to Yu'rek."Get up, mate," he snapped, prodding him with his foot.Yu'rek tossed the canvas parachute off of himself and stood beside his captain."I'm up," the Skakdi said. "That was a bit of a hard landing.""Oh, please we landed on a plant," Yerith scoffed. Then he remembered the Matoran. "We're fine," he repeated. "But I think jumping off of a destroyed bridge was a bit of a step too far for my friend here."Yu'rek rolled his eyes at the Toa's comment.
  15. IC: Solaris, Miptel, The RelSolaris watched the snowball fly past him."Nice try," he said. "Watch a master."He gathered some snow into a sphere and launched it at Tahuva. It missed. By a lot.The Rel held out his hand and cast a levitation spell, causing the snowball to spin before him for a moment before he threw it over to Dervian."Oh, and nice miss, Solaris," he mumbled.Solaris threw a frustrated handful of snow at the Toa of Plasma. And Mip. He got hit square in the mask from Tahuva's snowball. Of all the dumb luck!He gathered some snow around himself, making a tiny little munition's factory of snowballs. Then he launched them at various targets with sharpshooter accuracy."How the Karz does tiny little incapable Mip snowball fight so well?" Solaris grumbled, wiping the snow out of the crevices of mask."I lived in Ko-Koro for years," Mip said, sending out another volley of snowballs. "You learn how to snowball fight like a pro or you die."
  16. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek, MekrofYerith stalked the hallways. All of them were empty. It seemed the meeting was taking up some attention. Speaking of which, he heard voices coming from above. One in particular caught his attention."Don't worry, commander. One of the captains is dead.""Mekrof," Yerith hissed. "Yu'rek, I think the meeting room is above us. Smash the wall down and time it with the thunder. We'll climb up via the support beams."Yu'rek nodded. Together, they smashed in the wall, timing it with the thunder outside so that no one noticed. Then they climbed up through the beams, until they got a good perch looking through a hole in the shoddy wall. The Skakdi of Gravity was pacing the room, talking to a few of his most trusted men."Mekrof," Yerith growled. How would they kill him? There were too many guards in this place. They wouldn't be able to get out. All right, Mekrof would live to see another day."Has the island met our demands?" Mekrof asked his commander."No," the Skakdi answered. "But we think we may have hold of a valuable trading piece that will ensure us access to the weapons."They weren't talking about Mata Nui, that was for sure. It must be another island at which Mekrof was at war."Well use it fast," Mekrof said. "Now, as I'm sure you know, I shall be relocating to the desert if anything bad happens. But for now, Captain Yerith and his allies--'A door flung open. A young Skakdi page ran in."Master Mekrof," he panted. "Bad news. Just got it.""Spit it out," Mekrof growled, pulling out his pistol. The page's back spines bristled for a moment. "We lost the war. There was a force, allies of Captain Yerith, who came in and rescued the packages. The team was killed in the escape, but the Turaga made it out and finished peace talks. We lost."Mekrof fumed for a moment. Then he left the room.He would head to the desert.Something bad did happen. Finally, something good happened. Yu'rek, Nik-Kolii, the Turaga of the undisclosed island had all won the war.Yerith's war ended with Mekrof. He signaled for Yu'rek to go. They exited the way they came in, only to meet the full force of guards on the bridge. He nodded.Yu'rek saw the signal and aimed for one of the ropes holding the bridge up. The bottom beams should have burnt through, but they were still being held up by the ropes. One shot and...CRASH!The entire bridge collapsed, taking all of the guards down with it. More guards rushed out of the fortress complex. Since the thing was made mostly out of wood, Yu'rek thought it would be a good idea to set the place ablaze. A few flaming crossbow bolts and they pair ran to the wrecked bridge."Jump!" Yerith yelled. "And pull your backup 'chute!"Yu'rek thought that everything about this raid was crazy, but he did as he was told. Once more they were slowly drifting down the foothills. Then they started rising again."Updraft!" Yerith called out. "Try not to land in the bay!"Yu'rek tilted himself toward the ground. Once more they slowly descended until the pair crashed into the center of the Ga-Koro village.Yerith knocked the canvas off of himself and looked up at a nice young little Ga-Matoran."Um, hello," he said, standing up. Then he turned to face the foothills. The burning fortress lit the rainy night. Then he looked down at his parachute and his canvas-draped Skakdi comrade. "Long story," he added, taking a slight step backwards.
  17. IC: Solaris, Miptel, The Rel"Well, there's plenty of trouble around the island," Solaris stated, shrugging. "And there just so happens to be a curvy, blue-armored, pretty little piece of trouble down in Ta-Koro. At least, she should still be down there."Mip shook his head."Not cool, man," he sighed.Solaris smiled."Well, either way, she's trouble," he said, patting Mip on the shoulder. "I can feel it. There's just something hostile about her. A charge in the air. It feels like she wants to strike me down, but doesn't seem to remember anything.""Someone else trying to kill you?" The Rel asked. "How many enemies do you have?""Well, at least I knew Ghar-Knel," Solaris stated. "I have no idea who this chick is, and I have most of my memory back."
  18. IC: MeritalaShe patted Onuzek on the arm, as she could not reach his shoulder."You did good, Xek," she said, smiling. "Everyone loves watching Rahi that weren't meant for aviation fly."
  19. IC: Yerith, Yu'rekYerith pulled his knife out of his sheath and stalked forward silently."Don't kill what you can't cover up," he said to his teammate.Yu'rek nodded and loaded his flaming crossbow. The pair went through the courtyard until they reached some sort of outpost built into the castle walls. The security room. Maybe.Yerith opened the door, slowly. Nope. Guard uniform closet. No time to blend in, though. Yerith directed his partner around the next corner. There was another protruding room on the far end.Yu'rek sprinted across the grass to reach it.Yerith slowly opened the door. Here was the security post. He tackled one guard, punching him across the face, throwing him against the wall, then plunging the knife into his throat. At the same time, Yu'rek shot several flaming crossbow bolts into the second guard."This should keep the place quiet until someone notices something's wrong," he whispered."That should give us enough time to get inside," Yerith said, running out and closing the door behind him. "Let's go."Yu'rek followed his captain toward a cliff. Above was a bridge. They began the climb. Since the bridge was still under construction, it was a bit unstable."Shoot a couple of the beams," Yerith commanded. "When we get out, the beams will have burnt through, and we should get a safe enough exit while destroying any resistance coming our way."Yu'rek nodded and shot a few random beams. They caught almost immediately. They continued the climb until they reached the top. Then they entered the great building.A great peal of thunder sounded. And they were in.
  20. IC: Miritala Miritala followed Ril's fireball to the stunned Tarakava, slashing twice with her spear, then finishing it off with a proper stab. She then turned to a Rama that was annoying her, shooting up jets of water that took one wing off of it. It struggled on the ground for a moment, scratching her left leg, but she stabbed it in the head, stopping the movement."These things just don't know when to quit," she chuckled, assuming a defensive stance.
  21. IC: MiritalaMiritala jumped away from the fight for a moment, composing herself. Then she pulled out her spear and began to launch jets of water at the Rahi."Oh the things that happen on this island," she mumbled, shaking her head.
  22. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"Looks like we're going this one alone," Yerith said, spitting on the ground. The spit was red."You shoulda gotten a checkup when we were at the hospital," Yu'rek mumbled. "Mata Nui knows, you might have a broken leg."Yerith shrugged. He could walk fine. They walked into the market. Luckily, there was a shop still open in a hut. They purchased a good amount of canvas and rope."One's for backup," he explained.Cut a few holes in the material, loop, and knot. Four parachutes. Now was the hike. Yerith and Yu'rek climbed up into the swampy foothills of Ga-Wahi. Once they had found a discreet hill that overlooked the fortress, Yerith nodded.Yu'rek jumped. They sailed through the air for a moment before he let go of his rope. The canvas bloomed out behind him, slowing his fall. If they angled this right, they should get into the walls without crashing to their death and undetected. The pair hit the ground."We're in," Yerith said, already beginning to dodge into the courtyard.
  23. IC: Solaris (Public Library)Solaris sat behind his desk once more. That little Skakdi Hacker was his adventure for the day... That really made him sound like his life was so boring. He needed some excitement. And not just some that lasted a few minutes. One that would last him for weeks, just like old times.Oh, but he was dreaming. He leaned back in his chair and watched the comings and goings of the passersby. Perhaps becoming a librarian was a mistake. Oh, but he was surrounded by books! No mistake here...Yerith (Library Pub)Yerith stood behind the bar, watching the patrons converse. A bridge had closed the gap between Matoran and Agori at last. But what had become of Yerith. He was once a gung-ho special forces Toa and now he was just some bartender. He reached behind the cash register and pulled out all of his friends' dog tags. Everyone he knew but Solaris was dead. But he had all he needed for now. A bar, some money, and a dent in his chestplate.Well, another one, anyways.Kraak (Prison)Kraak looked around his cell. Well, the cellmates were a bit reclusive, but that was all right to him. He didn't want distractions to keep him from his plans.Almost ready. The Skakdi chuckled.
  24. IC: MiritalaShe laughed at Ril's comment."It seems so," she chuckled. "But at least there's also a sane woman."
  25. IC: Yerith, Yu'rek"It's really starting to pour, now," Yerith stated, looking out of the window of the bar."We should find a place to stay the night," Yu'rek said, getting up."That's exactly what Mekrof's guards would think," Yerith said, putting a hand on his teammate's shoulder. "We go in when there's a minimal patrol. Just need to find some big piece of cloth, some rope, and a high ledge."Parachutes? Interesting. But the market must be closed because of the rain. Maybe there was an inside shop still open.Yerith walked out into the rain and looked around. It was raining just before Pordal died.If all went well, it'll be raining right before he killed Mekrof.OOC: Yerith and Yu'rek open for interaction.
