Hmm... I suppose if you look at it that way...I never actually watched P&S. Just assumed it was another generic ecchi anime.
Idk, they both have ridiculously over-the-top action. The first Scanty and Kneesocks episode in particular was just insane. Even without the size-of-galaxies fallback, tho, I still think GL ends up better? The action in GL is at a much bigger scale, the stakes are higher, and you're rooting for the characters beyond just because they're using their underwear as weapons/are insanely cute. The characters, in particular, were so much better. Panty and Stocking are awesome, but their personalities aren't much beyond the fetishes they're supposed to be, and bratty-girl-ness. Simon and Yoko are both deep characters, and Kamina's just insanely likeable. Even background characters like Kittan have more feelings and story arcs. Not to mention the overarching story of Gurren Lagann is You are full of so much awesome that you could destroy the universe!
You can't compare the two Panty and Stocking is ecchi, Gurren Lagann is mecha.It was a bit of a getter rehash. Panty and Stocking was better.

IMO, a lot of them just don't serve any purpose to the story. Especially characters like Shadow. Sonic already has a rival. Shadow basically made Eggman into Tails' rival rather than Sonic's.And characters like Big, Rouge, and Cream just annoy me. (though Cream's new voice actress isn't AS annoying as the past ones.)

Gurren Lagann is the manliest show ever to appear on television. Definitely among my favorite anime of all time.

Some older metal bands (Guns N' Roses, Metallica) are pretty good. But a lot of the other metal just doesn't suit my interest.

Sonic games used to be cool and stuff, but then they started adding unnecessary characters (like Shadow, Rouge, Cream, Silver, Big, basically every character introduced since Sonic Adventure) then the storyline (and sometimes the game-play) got pretty lame. Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance series are pretty good, though. Storyline could be improved in some (especially the first Sonic Rush), but good game-play. Classic games are definitely my favorites. Way better than the new ones, in my opinion. Sonic Generations looks promising. Especially for 3DS.

I like the status updates and the new mobile site. (Awesome for my iPod.) Not much to dislike, so far. It's actually a major improvement (IMO) from the older site. It may take awhile for some to get used to, but it's pretty awesome to me, either way.

I've heard of it, I believe. I've just never read it. I've found myself reading less and less comics as time passes. But whenever you get some comics up, I'll be sure to check them out.
