Spelunky! comes out for PC in a few days now. Very exciting.

Ironically, Mass Effect 3's multiplayer is my favorite part of the game. Bioware outdid themselves with the combat mechanics, the amount of content, and customization potential.

However, after playing the campaign of Mass Effect 3, I found that the singleplayer campaign, while good in its own respect, did not have the same "enjoyability" as the multiplayer Co-op. Considering my previous expectations (which are what I imagine were the expectations of most) and Bioware's niche in the RPG genre, the fact that I hold Mass Effect 3's multiplayer with higher respect than its singleplayer campaign is ironic.

Mass Effect, before the third game, was strictly a singleplayer RPG game, and those singleplayer RPG elements were what I expected to enjoy most about the series when I purchased all three games a few months back. Coming to Mass Effect 3, I had expected to like those RPG elements the most about the game. The multiplayer aspect of the game would be tangential, or so I thought.

Children have a longer attention span than a year.
However, I must note that Bionicle, within its first year, had Mata-Nui online game, a comic book series, and a couple dozen toy sets. It was also coming off a few more Technic lines of toys, just as Chima would be coming off of Ninjago, Hero Factory, and Exoforce. (Not that I'm super happy about LEGO pumping out more and more toy themes.)

This is quote from a news site about the game:
"The original publishers, Gazillion Entertainment, dropped the game pretty quickly after launch, handing it off to the LEGO Group and making major cuts to the original dev team at NetDevil (many of whom were picked up by the LEGO group to continue development on the game)."
I wonder if the game was simply unsuccessful because it quickly lost developer support after release.

A hundred years ago, a man may have made only a thousand letters (which can be read with a some time). Now, he can make tens of thousands of e-mails and letters(unfeasible to read within years). Thus, it is true that our information quantity has increased and by that fact our information is becoming more and more difficult to communicate briefly.
While I meant the AI comment as humor, it is true that great feats of mental preservation can be achieved by use of AI. Our ability to r...

I agree that there is often difficulty in communicating with far off relatives, but, as internet technology becomes more natural, future humans will have less difficulty pulling history from their relations. I don't think either of us will have trouble sending an e-mail with a username, password, and link to a curious child.
"Of course, if it's your _descendants_"
But with AI technology...

Hah. There are many things I'd rather do than watch someone read my Avatar RPG posts.
Though, I still find many of my relative's old things still fun to read and watch, even if they would lead to the embarrassment of that relative. It's not insane to think that a child of mine would come across this account and consider it a treasured discovery.

I'm thinking that older fans of BIONICLE and BZPower hang around more than those fans that were younger a few years ago (I recognize many of the people that are still on), but I wonder where the source of new users is coming from (If there are new users). I suppose that LEGO is finding some way to ensure that people are talking about its stuff. Perhaps I'll educate myself about sometime.
It's good to catch you. I was hoping for some good conversation over ethics and ph...

At least my posts were as a kid, and, as such, I can forgive my old stupidity. But looking into specific issues is just inviting pain now.
I don't think I'll linger too much on my posting history now(my old RPG posts are largely irrelevant to me), but I do enjoy the fact that I have left marks on the internet that still linger on. The topic of heritage and time capsules is fascinating when you discover you have inadvertently left a heritage and a time capsule of your own.
