    How Tough Is A Cd?

    Had an old CD, thought I'd play with it. There's a video on it.
     
    Anyway, I covered it in fingerprints, ran it along a carpet, and played frizbee with it. It still worked.
     
    Maybe CDs are a lot tougher than we think they are?

    The Bahrag

    A while ago, I bought the Bahrag (and some other stuff) off the member Anthony Dalek. I've finally got around to building the blue one (Gahdok, I think) and I'm very pleased. It's a nice, complex build, and they're great fun to play with. One wee thing I've noticed, though, about the older sets in general.
     
    So, I've been a Bionicle fan since the start. I remember a lot of stuff newer fans won't. And I remember when I first saw the Bahrag. It was in a Lego Magazine - I wasn't on BZP until 2003 - and I thought, "Wow. They look awesome." They were a bit expensive for me, though - fifty quid is a lot of money to a ten-year-old, and is still quite a lot to me now, five years on. I got them both for £25.
     
    Anyway, I thought that these were a really big set - they were indeed one of the biggest so far. And I still thought this when building it. But then I put it on my desk, where Zaktan was standing.
     
    They were the same height.
     
    Now, a Toa Mata is dwarfish in comparison to a Bahrag.
     
    Are the Toa on some kind of weird pill?
     
    Youse's opinions on this'd be nice.

    Excited?

    Well, fellas, we are nearing the end of 2008. For me, the last year of Bionicle. In two months we will see what Mata-Nui looks like. I hope we won't be disappointed.
     
    So, tell me, are you excited? I'm dreading it. I've been an avid Bionicle fan for seven years, and, to me, it ends this year.

    Kopaka Phantoka

    Anyway, I got Kopaka Phantoka today - believe it or not, my first '08 set!
     
    I think it's pretty good, actually. I'm one of those freaks who misses the gears, so I'm still annoyed that it's going action-figurish. However, I'm glad that his mask at least slightly resembles his Nuva form - although I don't like the red thing. The wings are pretty cool, and the Midak is massive! It does, however, make balancing Kopaka quite tricky.
     
    He's a pretty cool set. Here's to Technic parts returning.
     
    What do you guys think of him, or the '08 sets in general?

    We were all new at one point. A lot of the time, when we were new, we said things that now really embarrass us.
     
    A lot of the staff were new at one point. I've taken a look way back, to find some of the earliest posts by our staff members.
     
    By the way, I mean no offense to any of the staff. It's just a bit of fun.
     
    Any staff that don't have a quote is because I couldn't find anything.

    This is a cry for help going out to all RPers.
     
    Some of you veterans may remember the BZPRPG Wiki. It sort of died.
    You can see where this is going.
    I have created a Wiki for all RPGs on BZP. It had a few articles, but I deleted them to clear it up, start again.
    Both me and BZP member Shyyrn are Sysops - the Wiki word for Admins. Any questions, PM me, or ask here.
     
    Please, it's in desperate need of articles. I aim to have this as the ultimate reference guide for RPers. Have characters? Make articles about them.

    Half-life 2

    Picked up Half-Life 2 today, for 98p in Game - sort of like GameStop.
     
    98p! That's about $2? Pretty cheap if you ask me.
     
    Anyway, it keeps freezing up. Apparently it's got something to do with the Source Engine. Has anyone else had this problem, and do they know a way to fix it?

    Rpg Contest 9

    RPG Contest 9 started today. That means that at the end of the month, three RPGs will be chosen.
    I've been playing An Ode to Mata-Nui, from RPG Contest 8. It's a good RPG, but the creator, Celeste, is never online, and the whole thing has pretty much stopped.
    I'm entering this time. I'll give you readers of my Blog a hint. Or, rather, I'll tell you the title.

    Rock 'n' Roll Song!

    In Music today, we had to write the lyrics to our own Rock 'n' Roll song. Most of this is written by me, but with a few additions from my friend.
