    Well, this one's long overdue. Now presenting a song which describes a nightmare I'd personally love to experience.
     
    Fun fact: This song is a remake of the song "Daydream" by AnyBand, which was in Korean. Now, the song is in English and the lyrics are very different... And so unbelievably catchy.
     
    The song is: "Scream" by BoA. It's the eighth song of her self-titled American debut album and it's awesome.

    This special edition came wih a bonus disc and different tracks on the original CD.

    This book edition has steel pages and is very heavy.
     
    Epica - We Will Take You With Us
    Very limited edition CD with special versions of existing Epica songs.
     
    Epica - The Score
    A mostly instrumental Epica project which doubles as the soundtrack to a movie called "Joyride". Special edition is released as SACD.
     
    Epica - Consign to Oblivion
    This is a Japanese collector's edition which features a bonus DVD. I bought this one online because I couldn't find the regular edition in stores.
     
    Epica - The Divine Conspiracy
    Special edition has stylish cards of the band members, and a CD with bonus tracks & music video. The case is a small book.
     
    Gackt - Redemption
    The limited "Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII" edition. Includes bonus DVD with two Redemption music videos: The regular version and the Final Fantasy version.
     
    Hyori Lee - It's Hyorish
    The biggest casing of them all. It's big enough to hold a freaking vinyl record. Includes large (pretty) photobook and a poster.
     
    Kamelot - Ghost Opera
    Digipack. Has a bonus track (The Pendulous Fall) and a bonus DVD with the Ghost Opera music video.
     
    Lena Park - Op. 5: On & On
    Has a very nice packaging.
     
    Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
    Another book edition. Very nice, also features a bonus DVD with the songs as mp3s.

    Contains a poster and bonus DVD with music videos and live performances.
     
    Nightwish - Once/Wish I Had An Angel
    A special French edition of the album Once, which is coupled with the Wish I Had An Angel single. Both of the discs have bonus tracks and the Once CD has the band members' autographs printed on them.
     
    Rammstein - Rosenrot
    This limited edition has a bonus DVD with some live performances.
     
    Rhapsody - Tales From The Emerald Sword Saga (Best of Rhapsody)
    There are only 20,000 copies of this version worldwide. Includes a poster, sticker, band member cards and a music video.
     
    Rhapsody of Fire - Triumph or Agony
    Not a lot of special stuff, only a couple of bonus tracks.
     
    Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone
    Aye, we got bonus tracks here, along with a bonus DVD and extra artwork.

    A very special edition. Only 1000 xopies are in existence worldwide. Again, it's in book-style and there are bonus tracks.

    A special edition with a bonus DVD and bonus tracks.

    It shall be the topic of the Dragonslayer gun MOC. It got devoured by the server.
     
    BUT!
     
    This time, there'll be a second MOC in the same topic. A vastly improved 'redesign' of the 'Slayer. Of course, it'll be under a different name, because of its different looks.
     
    Boy, the new version feels good in my hands. Much sturdier than the old one. Barrel is shorter, too.
     
    So keep your eyes peeled in the BBC forum.

    My current song of the moment is a beauty alright. The lyrics always make me sad and sometimes, that's good. I'm talking about "Forever Autumn" by the Moody Blues. This amazing song was also featured in the musical version of "War of the Worlds".

    Last month, some amazing cars were released for download in the game Burnout Paradise.
     
    I managed to get my hands on them and today, we'll take a nice look at them. I'll also share my experiences with you. (The XBOX 360 versions, that is.)
     
    First up is the Jansen P12 "88 Special".

    The 88 Special is inspired by the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future movie trilogy.
     
    It's a stunt car with a reasonable racing speed and one of the fastest boost speeds in the game. This car is very fun to drive and performs flatspins and barrel rolls like no other. It's also very maneuverable and simply awesome.
     
    Press the boost button and flame trails erupt from behind the rear wheels. Just like the movies...
     
    Click the left stick to enable the car's "futuristic" mode AKA hover mode. The controls are the same, but the hover mode is a delight in its own respect. <3 Really fast.
     
    Recommended event types: Race, Stunt Run, early Road Rage events. Later Road Rage and Marked Man events are not recommended, as the car is relatively weak.
     
     
     
    Next up: Hunter Manhattan Spirit.

    This awesometastic car is the Burnout Paradise incarnation of the car the Ghostbusters always used.
     
    The Spirit is a car from the Aggression type. It's heavy, slow and seriously? It handles like a freaking boat. Slow around the corners, but very stable. It's very good in taking out the opposition with slams, nudges and t-bones.
     
    Click the left stick to hear the sirens and see the pretty lights. Use the boost for the moving radar and such.
     
    I like this car. It's really good for the Road Rage and Marked Man event types. I haven't tested it for Stunt Runs. Just too bad it's too slow for Races.
     
     
     
    Thirdly: Carson GT Nighthawk.

    Nighthawk, a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a car who does not exist. The Nighthawk is the KITT of Paradise City. Fast, furious and stealthy, this car is a force to be reckoned with.
     
    The Nighthawk is a Speed car, which means that the boost bar has to be filled before you can use it. (This is why I usually stay away from Speed cars.) This car is incredibly fast and agile. I tested it on the wrong side of the road on the I-88, the game's speedway. The car is a bit too fast for me, crashing into many a car.
     
    Pressing the left stick doesn't do something you'll see immediately. But when you boost, you'll certainly see the difference. Clicking the stick toggles the blue lightbars on the front and back of the car. I swear, it looks menacing in the dark. =P
     
    Boosting also raises the rear spoiler.
     
    This car is best used for Race and possibly Marked Man events. The boost is annoying in Road Rage, because I always boost-slam my opponents into submission. Haven't tested the Nighthawk for Stunt Runs.
     
     
     
    Last, but certainly not least: Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger (The Chicanator).

    The Cavalry Bootlegger is the Mexican General Lee. It even has the melodic horn when you click the left stick.
     
    Very fun car to drive in, it's not the most nimble of the cars, but it can keep up in Races. It's a Stunt car, so it's a good car for Stunt Runs. It's not the best car for Marked Man activities, but that's okay. Its usefulness in Road Rage more than makes up for it.

    This song of the moment is the ending theme from one of my favourite Xbox 360 games. The game I'm talking about is Mass Effect. Its ending theme? M4, Part II by the Canadian band The Faunts.
     
    The reason I selected this song, is because the song has a very tense, guitardriven melody. This tense melody is hanging around in the background of the song, only pushing itself to the front at the right times, while drums and a keyboard take the song to soaring heights. Rarely have I heard an independent song that's so fitting with the game I've just played. It's just amazing. The lyrics are great, too.

    The following song of the moment is one of the lengthiest songs I know. Its lyrics are a part of my life, so it's another very personal song to me.
     
    Some of you may know it already, since I've shared the mp3 of it a couple of years ago. It's a song about life, and somewhere in the middle of the song, there's a piano solo.
     
    The solo starts out nice and calm, almost relaxing. Then, the texture of the melody starts to change. About 5-6 minutes into the solo, the melody is largely gone; All you hear, is Yoshiki the drummer/piano player/composer mashing away on the piano keys.
     
    Very disorienting.
     
    The song I'm talking about, is of course, "Art of Life" by X Japan. (I have a live performance of it on DVD.)

    What a bummer.
     
    At least it's available on iTunes.
