I decided to google the phone number I got assigned by Net 10. It looks like there are at least two previous owners, same area code and everything. One of them was a Pit Bull Rescue center and the other is some girl who had it march of last year.

I also got texted by some random girl down in Atlanta, Georgia. I am in Minnesota.

If get a lot of random texts and calls I'll probably try to get my number switched, otherwise I'll just keep it.

Sunday was the last regular troop meeting for my Jamboree troop. Everything is falling into place now.

It looks like I might have very limited access to a computer while the troop is touring Washington DC. I'm going after a spot in the Hometown News Correspondent program and the local news paper is working with me to make that happen. I'm going to have write one article while we're touring since the first publish date is the 26 of July, and then I'll be writing two article at the Jamboree. Biggest perk to the program is I'll have access to a bike. There's also a possibility that I could be blogging, the person in charge of the program has been ignoring my e-mails so I'm not sure if that will work out.

I'll also post a picture of my council's shoulder patch later. Last time I took a picture of it it didn't turn out right. Hopefully it will work today.

My troop has also taken a no electronics stance. This is probably the strictest possible since anyone who somehow smuggles cell phones or mp3 players will most likely get sent home. Is everyone else's troop the same way or is their troop's policy more relaxed?

I should be running the 1600 Meters in today's track meet. My goal is to run faster then 6 minutes. I'm mostly healthy now. My shin splints are pretty much gone. I'm probably going to skip the spikes and save those for the last meet of the season next week.

I haven't really done anything good since that 2:30 I had at the beginning of the season. Maybe this will be the point where I turn it around.

Finally got into the Order of the Arrow this weekend. Before I just kept putting it off and saying I wasn't interested and then about a year and a half ago I decided I was interested and I got elected, but then I couldn't make it to the either of the two conclaves. I finally made it to one, after getting reelected.

For those of you who don't know what the Order of the Arrow is, it's basically the Boy Scouts' honor society. It's really not that hard to get into if you're fairly active in your troop.

School is officially finished for me today. Unofficially I have to go back on Friday if I want to get my graded research position paper from my English professor.

I hopefully about getting all A's again this semester. My English class is only one I'm not sure about, I find out on Friday.

Now I can finally get to work on some other important stuff, such as some merit badges I need to finish.

Last track meet was on Thursday and somehow I crushed my old time in the 800 M. I ended up getting approx. 2:30 which tops my old record by 12 seconds. At the very end I was all out sprinting.

I'm going to attribute the time to the guy from another school who tried to pass me on the final hundred. I heard him come up behind me fast and something just clicked in my mind. That's when I hit the turbo. I doubt I've ever run hat fast in my life. He cam close to passing me twice I think but I managed to hold him off.

I really payed for that sprint afterwards though. I don't think my shins have hurt that much.

There's another meet on Thursday this week that I'll be running in. I should be able to beat the 2:30 now because I'll be running in spikes for the first time.

I really haven't been on here very much over the last month or two. I don't know. It just seems like I've got too much stuff on my plate. I some how get the feeling that I should move on, from BZPower and forums in general, but I just don't feel ready to do that.

I might be that I'll have more time once classes end at the beginning of next month, but will I really? Track is also entering full swing now with our first outdoor meet tomorrow. After this season I'll have to make some hard choices. I made a huge mistake at the end of last season. I don't want to make that mistake again this year but I can see myself taking the easy route and repeating it. Next year is also my senior year and I can't just push off bing slow to the next year by saying, "oh, I'll be faster next year." That will be it, there won't be any more.

My academics will also be hitting it's highest point workload wise next year. Currently my grades are all good so they haven't suffered. Worst case scenario for this semester is I ended up getting 2 A's and B. Fall of next year I'm going to be taking 4 college classes totalling close to 12 credits. Currently in line are, Calculus I, Physics, German, and a American Histroy class. None of those are going to be free ride classes like I had during my first semester or even this semester.

In short, I really don't know how much time I can spend on BZPower. I really don't know and my inactivity won't be changing anytime soon.

I finally got around to purchasing the new Tobymac album, Tonight. I listened to most of the music on Yahoo right before it got released and I like some of the music. It seems like it's a pretty good album although there's no way it will be able to top Portable Sounds.

I also ordered the Joshua Rifkin Scott Joplin album. So much good music on there. Scott Joplin wrote some amazing songs. I think my favorite has to be Bethena. It's not as well known as the Entertainer or the Maple Leaf Rag, but it's as good if not better.

The first track practice of the season was today. Appearently I wasn't technically suppose to practice. The coach let me practice anyway though. That should be resolved tomorrow though.

I think it's going to be a good year. Even through I'm not in the greatest shape right now, I'm still in a lot better shape then I was at the start of the last two seasons. I think for this year I stat running the mile. Previously I've only done the 800m.

When I hopped on BZPower at about 3:25 this afternoon I got a suprise. When I tried to access LGD I got an IPS Driver error. When I scrolled down to the bottom of the home page It turned out there were only two people logged in. Myself and one other guy.

Something was up, since I had never seen that few of people on. When I refreshed the page the forums had been turned offline. Another refresh and I got a forum maintenance page. The next refresh brought up the forum offline page agian.

Some how I got extremely lucky and logged on at the right time to get that screen shot.

I was going to post my thoughts on my recent Skrall purchase but that's going tohave to wait.

I was walking along the hall in the basement of my house that runs along on side and stepped in something wet. No problem I thought, one of my brothers probably spilled something. Turns out they didn't.

The ground on that side of the house has never had good drainage. There's a hill that gently slopes down, then there's a door into the house, and then there's another hill that slopes back up. In past years there has always been huge puddle there. There's a cement slab that runs along the wall of the house. Normally the puddle at it's biggest, ends between the edge of the slab and half way across the slab. This year it didn't.

Right now there's at least an inch of water sitting directly against the house. It was also running up against the door. I put down some plastic with sand bags on top so that should stop most of the water from getting in. My dad will also be getting a pump when he gets home from work tonight.

So earlier today I bought the Sea Jet Atlantis set. That means that I have three of the smaller Atlantis sets. The only small one I'm missing is the Manta Warrior but I'm not too interested in getting it.

I also got the Skrall Stars. Now my Golden Bionicle will be balanced. I've got Tahu and the Rahkshi. I also got the armor piece from Gresh from my brother since he doesn't have Tahu. I'm still looking at getting Takanuva and Nektan but I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend the money on them.

It feels sort of a breath of fresh air. After being really busy for I don'tknow how long it feels good to have almost nothing to do.

I have a some math homework but I'm already over half way done with it. I also have a paper I need to finish. That paper is probably going to be the hardest thing to finish. I don't even want to think about it right now.

I also want to try to learn Morse code. That's going to be a challenge, although I've learned the three letters that I need for my first name.

Yesterday was my Jamboree Troop's February meeting. I don't think we covered much. Maybe we did but it was mostly going over old stuff.

Some of the trips have been set now. Apparently we're going to be getting on the road at 3:00 A.M. to drive to the airport the day we're flying out. That should be fun. We may also get to tour the White House although we won't know if that will happen until a couple weeks before we leave.

They also made clear that no electronics, except cameras if you choose to bring one or knives will be going with. Next month we're having the swim quals and getting the stuff we ordered, patches, shirts, duffel bag, and backpack. We also got to see one of the tents. About the only thing to say about is it's bigger then an Timberline a-frame.

With all the stuff that will be happening I beginning to wonder if meeting would be possible. It's one thing if we had some way to communicate but after we're out there, we're essentially on our own.

Last night was my troop Centennial Celebration Court of Honor. It was originally scheduled for last Monday, but the local weather conditions had other plans.

To start off we had a bunch of old scouting stuff set up around the room for people to look at. One Assistant Scout Master brought in his Boy Scout Hand Book collection. He is only missing the first two editions. Another ASM brought in a bunch of old Boys Life Magazines.

    Old Boys Life Magazines
Hand Books - The Blue one is the third edition, I don't remember what edition the green one is although it's probably the fourth.
    Scout Shirt
    Scout Hat
Council Patches - All are from Minnesota although Viking Council no longer exists. It merged with another council 4 or five years ago and turned into Northern Star Council.
An Eagle - I'm not sure whose these belonged to but, yeah, it's an Eagle award along with two Religious Emblems. The Ad Altare Dei is Catholic. I'm not sure what denomination the Pius XII one goes to.

We also had a slide show of old pictures running before and after the Court of Honor.

A couple of the big highlights were the time line, the merit badges and the ranks. We also handed out the awards from our troop Klondike Derby. Our Scout Master wood burned the winners plaque. It turned out really nice. Unfortunately, I didn't have chance to get a picture of it. Every who participated in the derby also got one of these.

One of the Assistant Scout Masters also got the complete set of rank patches. Patches There's also some cool slides along the top. I know the stories that go a long with a few of them.

On sunday I had to go to the copy store to get copies of the program for my troop's court of honor. While I was there I got the poster that was released recently printed out.

Personally I would have like it a little bigger. Right now I have it as a 11x17. The only problem was that there was an almost $20 difference in price between the size I got and the next largest size. It would have also been about 24 hours before I could have gotten it.

It doesn't look too bad even though the aspect ratio isn't quite the same.

How many people would be interested in having a one day Boy Scout avvy and banner fad next Monday to celebrate the Boy Scouts of America's 100th Anniversary.

If anyone is interested I'll put together some different avvys and sig banners.

I was all set to do a entry covering my Boy Scout Troop's Court of Honor when we got hit by a huge snow storm. The court of honor was postponed until next Monday.

On another note, I went to the local scout office and ended up spending over $100 on stuff I need for the Jamboree. I probably have another hundred of stuff I need to still get.

On this date in 1910, the BSA was incorporated by publisher W. D. Boyce. Boyce first learned about Scouting when a Scout refused payment for helping him through a London fog. He was simply doing a Good Turn. For 100 years, Scouts across America have kept to that example. Today, we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of this great movement and begin our next 100 years of service.

I had the ACT this morning. Out of all the thngs that I have/had to get done recently this was probably the least stressful.

I had studied a little bit the beginning of last month but I really didn't put too much work into it. I feel like I did a pretty good job. I can count on my fingers the number of problems that I'm not sure if I got right. I really didn't have much trouble with the time limits. When I did the practice tests I cut it really close on the math and science sections but today I was done with just about everything before they called five. The fact that I had some previous experience with some of the science parts really helped.

Now I get to wait until I find out how I really did. =P

I picked up the Heat Vision Rahkshi earlier today. I don't like it as much as I thought I would.

For some reason when I first pulled it out of the container it struck me as orange. After I compared it to Mata Nui it still looked orange but I could tell it was yellow. Oddly enough, I never thought Mata Nui was orange.
