"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
"What is essential is invisible to the eye," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.
"It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."
"It is the time I have wasted for my rose — " said the little prince, so that he would be sure to remember.
"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose..."
"I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.
Anyone know how to make things not so reflective? I'm hoping for a mostly-realistic look and the mirror polish it puts on the pieces just isn't doing it for me.
Pros Better lighting, especially in the forest and mountains. When a laser hits the ground, it peels back to show the wireframe underneath. Awesome Megatank explosions. It sucks. ConsTwitchy movement. Tiny creepy pupils… Color seems rather washed out. It sucks. Moonscoop
Pros Smoother movements. Better details on the characters, larger pupils. It sucks. ConsHarsher lighting in the forest, too blue in the mountains. No more wireframe under the land. Less awesome Megatank explosions. It sucks.
But I also had an awesome LEGO-related dream while I was away.
It was like a cross between Agents and Exo-Force. I remember three main things. 1) There was a minifig that was a sort of cross between a normal minifig and an Exo-Force robot, only better. 2) One of the sets was a submarine. A freaking awesome submarine. 3) The supposed 'setting' was good vs. bad. The good guys had their base on a small island or a boat or something, and the baddies' base was under an overhanging cliff, hanging off the bottom.
I've mentioned in a couple places that I'm not really a fan of the big Apocalypseburg set, and I just realized what the best comparison to make would be. This is pretty much how it looks to me: too structured to be a properly "chaotic" environment, but with a bunch of stuff on it making it look just kinda messy.
In the words of Annie Hughes, "it seems kind of slapped on".
So yeah the daycare I went to when I was just a wee little lad full of health and joy, I apparently went to this daycare place (I remember the daycare, but no specifics) that served seemingly as cheap snacks as they could get. No juice, just water. All natural foods. All that good stuff. But the logic worked, in that if kids are trained not to eat sugary foods or drink sugary drinks, they'll eat healthier stuff.
And apparently that's why I don't drink any soda.
That, and the fizz bothers me. I don't want to be burping up the same flavor I just drank. >.>
