Sorry for the lack of activity on my part. I've been...well, here's a list. -Taking an interest in airsoft! I have a Double Eagles L96 with an NC Star 3x9-50E sporting scope -Sent to a stationary death march (aka Marching Band camp) -Playing Fallout 3 (creepy and profanic but addicting) -Entertaining my cousin who lives in St. Paul but visits every summer So, if anyone reads this, leave a list of what you've been doing lately.

On a five-day vacation to Virginia Beach, Virgina. Pizza, ice cream, and fish burritos galore on the sun,sand, and surf.

Today I'm buying an amazing airsoft sniper rifle for $120, which is a steal! Anyone else have some really neat BB/pellet/airsoft guns?

For our school's marching band, we meet before school starts on the football field to practice for 6 hours a day. It makes me wonder how it ever caught on... "Say, you want to learn how to play an instrument?" "No." "We'll play in flamboyant, sweaty uniforms!" "I still don't want to do it." "We'll practice in the middle of August on a hot football field." "No means no!" "We'll memorize ridiculously complicated music and move to even more complicated coreography!" "Who are you?"

ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT IN THE SCHOOL YEAR! *throws confetti*

I haven't been on for a while (since last Tuesday, I believe) because every year our school's eighth grade class goes to Washington D.C. from Wednesday to Friday. It had to be the longest three days of my life, when you share a small hotel room with your best friend, a hulking gorilla, and a lummox who snores like a bulldozer. However, I did see some pretty cool sites, like the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building, and the White House (which was extra neat, because we saw snipers on the roof!) Anyway, if eternity proved too brief, God created tour bus rides to lengthen the process. Four months after leaving D.C., we arrived at our school at 10:30, and none too soon. Then I got home, and discovered that our computer had practically exploded, so I had to wait another few days for my mom, our resident computer nerd, to hook up our old 1993 Dell drive for us. To top it off, our library (a stone's throw away from my house) suffered a power outage, so its computers were unusable. Hurrah!

Today in Math, all the boys including myself decided to play a prank where we pretended it was English instead. For example: "What is the Pathagorean Theorem?" "I before E except after C?" "Name a mathematician that lived in ancient Greece." "Robert Frost?" Needless to say, it made for one very confusing and very entertaining period.
