  1. IC: RipleyRipley looked at the beings in front of her."Look, I know something is going on. I can practically smell the tension. Now, I'm not usually one to butt in, but I don't think a chapel is any place for a fight." she said.
  2. OOC: Oh...I was actually unaware of that. I just thought a character like Death would be cool...IC: DeathTwo against one was hardly fair. Not that Death minded. Focusing all of his power he encased his body in crystal, then forced it to expand outwards at an alarming pace. Wile it wasn't nearly enough to break the metal holding him, it was enough to offer some wiggle room. He leapt from the metal trapping him just as Zauk arrived."I've had enough of this!" he bellowed, raising his scythes. "No more dancing around with lightning and glass. Fight me head on!" he cried, crossing the handles in front of him.
  3. IC: AriaAria was prepared for the leap, and almost failed to notice the tail behind her. Just in time she activated her mask, filling her body with strength and bracing herself. The tail struck her hard, but her arms wrapped around it, tugging hard as she tried to swing the beast around.OOC: keep in mind that she's a Toa of Iron, who are naturally the strongest. Add to that a Pakari and she's a force to be reckoned with.
  4. OOC: I know I said I was signing off, but I thought I'd take one more look. IC: Aria Aria smiled. "Oh, aren't you sweet, letting me go so easliy. You sure you don't want a little taste of my power?" she said, knowing the beast was this close to attacking her. She wanted to test her strength on something bigger than her, and what better time than the present? OOC: Okay, now I'm really going.
  5. IC: Death It was only after Death disposed of the rest of the stone that he realized what Zauk was doing. Any closer and the mad Toa would pump him so full of electricity he's be able to light the whole of Mata Nui with his eyes. "I don't think so." he said, using all of his strength to create a wall of Crystal across the clearing, high enough that the Toa couldn't jump it, and deep enough that he couldn't move it with his mask. He focused as hard as he could, bringing the wall into a curve, slowly encasing Zauk in a prison of Crystal. OOC: Signing off for the night. See you tomorrow.
  6. IC: Aria Aria stared directly into the eyes of the growling behemoth. "Well, rawr to you to. Look, if I'm not wanted, just say so. My job was to take out the crazy Skakdi, and I did. No reason to stay." she said, and let the power of her Pakari flow through her. She wasn't looking for a fight, but she'd be more than happy to provide one. OOC: Signing off for the night. See you all tomorrow.
  7. IC: Death Death easily destroyed the stone with some well placed crystal spikes. He watched as Zauk moved towards him, slowly. Death studied his every move, waiting for the attack. The air was once again filled with crystal dust, but it surrounded only Death and the air behind him, straying away from Zauk's form. Death clutched his scythes loosely now, the two blades swinging at his sides.
  8. IC: Aria Aria looked at Aclaraung. "An older language. Not one I'm familiar with. Anyway, don't suppose you boys need an assassin?" she said, hands on her hips. These guys didn't look like they were in the mood for small talk, but Aria always had time.
  9. IC: The Harbinger The Skakdi felt metal cut into his chest, but the wound was not bad enough to slow him. He easily dodged each of the Toa's attacks and raised his hammer again, ready to swing. But before he did, a Toa appeared from nowhere. Her small dagger looked useless compared to his hammer, and he slammed it across her face. He mask of quick travel fell to the ground in pieces, and she laughed, replacing it with a modified Pakari. Pointing the dagger at his chest, she used her power to change it, and soon a long spear of steel was in his chest, extending far behind him and piercing a tree. The metal quickly retracted, and the Skakdi fell, dead on the ground. IC: Aria Aria, Toa of Iron, allowed her long sword to return to its orginal form as a dagger. She adjusted her Pakari, glad to have her original mask back. "Well, that was easier than expected." she turned to the Toa who had previously been fighting her target. "Thanks for distracting him. I've been hunting that thing for weeks." she said. Then she looked down at the shattered mask. "Shame. He really wanted that one back. Oh well." she said. OOC: I'm so sorry, guys, but I just got really tired of having a Skakdi. I thought he was cool at first, but having so few useful abilities was just too much trouble, so yeah. Assassinated!
  10. IC: Death Death leapt from the pillar, his balance thrown off. Using his Mask of Fate again he did an amazing flip mid-air and landed on the other side of the temple. He could taste the lightning forming in the air, and readied his power, waiting for Zauk's attack. "Do you worst." he muttered.
  11. OOC: That would be Harbinger. Binger, not bringer. Just so you know. IC: The Harbinger Using his hammer, the Harbinger swatted the disk away mid flight, using the hammer's moving head to amplify the force of his blow. He swung the massive weapon at the one with the sword, roaring as he did.
  12. IC: Death Death chuckled. "Then so be it." he muttered, and turned the crystal dust into a barrage of crystal spikes large enough to take off someone's head. With barely a nod, Death forced the crystals inward, using his mask to leap from spike to spike until he stood atop one of the pillars. The spikes surged towards the Toa of Electricity. "Death welcomes you."
  13. IC: The Harbinger The Skakdi landed in a pile of soft snow, breaking his fall. Readying his hammer, he surged towards the strangers, using his Impact Vision when he could see them clearly. "I AM THE HARBINGER OF YOUR DESTINY!" he cried. OOC: So...just checked your profiles...are you guys...dragons?
  14. IC: Death Death took one look at the Toa's mask and knew. This being's mind was infected, tainted by the filth of corruption. He drew his twin scythes, crossing them in front of him. "Resist this corruption, Toa. Don't force a fight you aren't prepared to fight." he said, readying himself. Crystal dust formed in the air around the temple, glinting teal in the sunlight. "Do not pick a fight with Death." OOC: Ooh, not active for one day and I'm already getting some action. This is going to be fun.
  15. IC: The Harbinger The Skakdi known as the Harbinger reached the top of a large ice ridge, looking down into the valley below. There were beings in the distance, small like ants. And they were ants, in the eyes of the Harbinger. He lifted his hammer from where he had rested it in the snow and let out a deafening roar. "I AM THE HARBINGER OF YOUR ANNIHILATION!" he bellowed, leaping off the cliff to the tundra below. OOC: The Harbinger is open for interaction. Anybody willing to face this beast in battle, step forward now!
  16. IC: Death Death watched the Toa move towards the Kini Nui, and sensed something wrong when sparks began dancing across the Toa's armor. He sprinted over, leaping up over the steps of the Kini Nui to land directly next to the Toa. "Toa, are you well? What ails you, my brother?" he asked. Suddenly a chill spread through his body, and the crystals embedded in his chest ached like they hadn't in years. There was something wrong with this place, some great darkness pouring from its heart. He placed a hand on the Toa's shoulder, coating it in crystal to protect from the lightning. "Toa, we should leave this place. Can you hear me?" he asked.
  17. IC: Death "I see. You haven't seen anything strange around here, have you?" Death asked. He looked around, scanning for anything that seemed out of the ordinary. OOC: I'm not sure...I don't know what that is... XD
  18. OOC Yeah, I though it would be cool to have a character like this. Not sure how it'll work out. XP IC: Death Death looked over to the large temple. He smiled under his mask. "Figures, it shows up just when I ask for directions." he muttered. He glanced back to the beings. "What do you mean, crazy?" he asked.
  19. IC: Marda Marda leaned back in her chair, her bar sadly empty. Business had been slow since she'd returned from sailing the Endless Ocean, and it was really getting her down. He head ached from not using her power, and she was halfway to hammered, judging by the nearly empty bottle of top shelf rum. "Oh, how I wish someone would come visit me!" she cried, and nearly fell back when she heard the door open. OOC: Marda open for interaction!!!
  20. IC: Ripley "Sorry love, but even bringing Dorian to any place that isn't a prison cell is enough to put me into one of my own. Letting him stay here alone would be enough to double my sentence. Letting him stay here with another person who I know nothing about is enough to triple that sentence again." Ripley heard them before she saw them thanks to her Kanohi, and sensed something was wrong. She stepped into the Chapel and looked around, seeing a group of beings together. She walked over to them, her steel claws twitching in case of danger. "Is there a problem here?" she asked. OOC: That's you, snoip lion and Jerry Renault.
  21. IC: The Pale Rider The Pale Rider urged his steed onward, pushing him faster. "Faster, Despair. We're almost there." he commanded, using one of his scythes to clear away the brush in their path. Suddenly a raven flew alongside him. "Dust, how much further?" he asked. The raven sqwaked, and the being sighed. "Right. You're a crow." he said, as they suddenly burst through a clearing. There were others here, and the being quickly leapt from the horse, its cries echoing as it retreated into the brush nearby, disappearing. The being walked towards the strangers. "Excuse me. Can you tell me how to find the Kini Nui?" he asked, drawing their attention. OOC: That would be Aurum and Zauk
  22. Sorry for the big spacing. My computer is acting funky on me. If someone could help fix the spacing, I would appreciate it. The King’s Game Congratulations! You have been chosen for the esteemed honor of competing in the King’s Game! Welcome to Isla Del Sol, where you will be spending the remainder of your time during the Game. The goal of the Game is simple. Survive and Kill. You and an unspecified number of others will be free to traverse this mighty island and harvest its resources. Build camps, fortresses and citadels to rise up and become the strongest being on the island. When you have built your empire, wage war with the other contestants and become the best. Think you’re the strongest? Venture to the Castillo del Rey and challenge the King himself. To escape, you must win. To win, you must kill the King. Let the Games Begin! The object of this game is simple: recruit allies, harvest natural resources, build you empire and take down King Solar. But you are not alone on the island. Others will try to topple your control and take your place on top.But the other contestants aren’t the only thing trying to take you down. Beware the sinister Harvester, an agent of the King who hunts down the weak and removes them from the game. Beware the seven Dukes of the Island, who stalk each of the environments and will try to put an end to your progress. And above all else beware the King, who will send down flaming meteors from his castle to cause chaos and destroy your hard work.Rules:· You may select one of the seven biomes to settle in (see below) or remain a nomad and travel the island freely.· Recruit other contestants to build your army and expand your hold over the island.· Fighting with other characters is encouraged, but fighting must be fair, no auto-dodging, auto-hitting, and above all else, no god-modding. The use of any of these will result in a warning, and repeated use will result in expulsion from the RPG.· You may have as many characters as you like, but when one of your characters dies, they’re dead for good. No redo, no blank slate characters, and no regeneration. Once you’re dead, you’re dead.· If you are killed in your base and have no other active characters in it, it is taken over by the invader. You can’t create a new character if one dies just so you can keep your stuff. If you want to take it back, do the same ting to the invader.· On that note, you are not allowed to magically appear inside someone’s base. You have to try and break in, and they have a chance to retaliate. (see below for different base types)· The Dukes are very powerful, and as such difficult to defeat. You CAN kill a Duke, but it won’t be easy, and if you manage to the other six will be after you at full force.· The Harvester is powerful, and replaceable. If you kill it, the King will send a new one. However, if you defeat it in battle, it will likely retreat before you can kill it and leave you alone for a while. It is one of the island’s traps, albeit a living, thinking trap.· Until you’ve built up your empire, don’t go after the King. He’s generally stronger than you, and if you challenge him, you will likely not succeed. Build an army, come at him full force, and your chances are much better.· The Game is over when the King is killed. Until then, you CANNOT LEAVE THE ISLAND. The seas are guarded by a multitude of traps and monsters.· You character MUST have a weakness. You are not invincible.· Keep an eye out for Secret Keepers. They will give useful information about various things on the island, for a price.· Play fair, have fun, and feel free to ask questions and offer suggestions.Making Your CharacterYour character is a Toa. It is unknown how many there are, since when one is killed the King sends out another.Weakness: You don’t need to know just yet.
  23. IC: Cyber and AceCyber greeted the group with a wave."Hello. My name is Cyber. And you," she said, pointing to Ace, "are that charming Toa who works for Marda, am I right?" she asked. Ace nodded. He had no idea who she was."I'm sorry, you probably don't recognize me. We only met for a moment, and I was wearing a very concealing cloak at the time. Your boss helped me a few months back. How's she doing?" she asked. Ace shrugged."Yeah, I think I remember you. Needed a Nui Rama hive cleared out in Le-Wahi. Marda's still terrified of those things, thanks to you." he accused. Cyber shrugged."Sorry. She did help me out a lot though." she said. "And who are these others you're with?" she asked.
  24. OOC: I'm bringing in another character. Too many that aren't doing anything.IC: Ace"Well, I had some time off from work up in Po-Koro, and I haven't been here in so long. I just wanted to come and see what's been going on. But I guess I got a bit lost and...hey, who's that over there?" he asked, pointing to someone heading towards the Koro as well. Whoever it was, they were tall, with dark armor.IC: CyberCyber stepped carefully through the snow. Because of her cybernetic legs, she often found herself sinking into the snow at unwanted times. She was nearing Ko-Koro, and the cold was starting to affect her mechanical parts. Looking around, she spotted a group in the distance heading towards the Koro as well, and activated her mechanical eye to get a better look."Well, I'll be. Is that who I think it is?" she said.OOC: Cyber is a Vortixx with all mechanical parts from the waist down. She's also got a mechanical right arm with a plasma cannon and a mechanical right eye with various functions one would expect from a mechanical eye.
  25. OOC: I was informed that my previous behaviour was indeed a bit G-moddy. I fixed the post on page 116 if you feel like changing yours too.IC: MardaMarda smiled."Great. I'll get to work. See if I can find out anything on this Reichenbach. I'll send out a couple of my people to search for him, and we can work from there. If that's alright with you." she added.IC: JenxJenx smiled at Mita."No worries. I'm not going anywhere any time soon. Miss Marda's gonna chew me out. Didn't expect her to be back so soon." she said, closing the door and sitting on a chair in the room.
