  1. Off to eBay...link with pictures of figures: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191766638362?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 Anyone interested please let me know and I'll cancel the listing and work with you directly on BZP. Thanks, Steve
  2. BZ gang, I have the following for sale, all loose (no box), all complete and accurate vs Bricklink and ToyPeriod, all reasonably tight, clean, light playwear, smoke-free Asking $120 + actual shipping: 8562 Bohrok Gahlok with Krana 8587 Rahkshi Panrahk with Kraata 8590 Rahkski Guurahk (2x) both with Kraata 8603 Toa Whenua 8614 Vahki Nuurakh (2x) both with correct disc 8615 Vahki Bordakh with correct disc 8616 Vahki Vorzakh with correct disc 8617 Vahki Zadakh with correct disc 8618 Vahki Rorzakh with correct disc 8619 Vahki Keerakh with correct disc 8691 Phantoka Antroz with correct light blue leeches 8694 Mistika Krika with correct Lime Nynrah Ghost Blaster Ammo 8736 Hordika Vakama (with instructions) with correct weapons, discs and zip cord 8737 Hordika Nokama (with instructions) with correct weapons, discs and zip cord 8741 Hordika Nuju (with instructions) with correct weapons, discs and zip cord 8901 Piraka Hakann with correct Trans Neon Green Zamor spheres (4x) 8947 Matoran of Light Radiak 8979 Glatorian Malum with correct Thornax Fruit spiked Ball 8535 Toa Lewa 8567 Toa Lewa Nuva 8686 Phantoka Toa Lewa The backstory...walking through a flea market and spotted a milk-crate full of Bionicle topped by an Axalara T9 (always wanted, never got). Bought the lot and started to tease apart the good and the bad. Let's say I became quite an expert on Bricklink pretty fast. Word of caution...NEVER buy Lego stored in a milk-crate! Long story short, once I pulled out the figures I needed, I completed the balance of those that were nearly complete and I'm offering them now. I'm almost at the break even point so keeping the cost reasonable, basically $5 a figure. I'll consider a best offer but I don't want to sell as sub-lots, want to just move as a single lot. As a bonus, I'll throw in an extra pound of loose parts from the same era if selling at full price Thanks to all...anyone truly interested shoot me a PM and I can forward some pix. Steve (BooManChew)

  4. Ok, here's the complete list by part number...looking for a BZer that hopefully has a lot of these parts that can give me a good price with cheap shipping. Anything I can't get here I'll go after on Bricklink I can't seem to attach the table I made so if anyone is interested in making a deal and has a lot of these parts shoot me a private message and I'll send the original spreadsheet, much easier to read. 5. Hi all, I bought about 25 Bionicles at a yard sale and most of them are missing little bits. I'm almost done making a list of exactly what I need but before I post it up I want to be sure I'm asking the right way and giving the right info. My spreadsheet is organized by Set Number and figure name, with the Part number and name from the reference sites (NOT the Lego numbers from the instruction manuals), along with the color in the format from the reference sites (e.g. PearlLtGray) Is it important to sort by set, or should I simply cluster by Part number? For instance, two sets need the same black half domes, identical part number and name (e.g. 1x for Toa Ignika and 2x for Axalara T9). Is it better to ignore the set number and figure name and just list as 3x black half dome? Also, I want to seriously limit the number of individual deals I need to make to get the parts, so I'm hopeful there is a BZer that has the bulk of the parts (most of them are pretty common actually), then I'll go after the tougher items. Thanks to all, Steve
  6. Yeah, we have some of the Blok Bots...kinda cool but tough to keep together, never a fave. The pieces on the legs of this one all say Mega Bloks, didn't looks too close otherwise but it fits the bill for sure. I'll look for mold details, good call, I know the chest piece had some numbers on the back. Would you then search on the part number and hope to find the set ID? Not sure if Mega Bloks fans are as sophisticated as Bionicle folk Thanks, Steve
  7. Hi BZP'ers...found this guy in a big lot of Bionicle's I bought. I know he's Mega Blok, I assume he's Predator, but I can't find any leads as to what/when he is. Any insight? Many thanks, Steve
  8. Still working on my list but going well...like building 30 puzzles at once with no picture! Apart from the Axalara, so far I have some pretty cool figures...4 of the Toa Mahri (very nearly complete), a Maxilos minus Spinax (sp?), a Toa Lhikan & Kikanolo, Gadunka, Nocturn, a mish mash of Phantoka and Mistika I haven't teased apart, as well as some very early parts figures. Having fun, stay tuned Steve
  9. Wow, thanks for the quick replies! I'll workup my list and post it here first. Hopefully I can knock out most of the items then go after the tricker pieces on Bricklink. Most of my parts will be for the Axalara T9, front and rear, as well as the driver. Thanks again
  10. Hello BZers, I bought a milkcrate full of Bionicles at a flea market and I'm working to get them all back together. Most of the figures are nearly complete and only missing a small bit here or there (note: don't store Bionicles in milkcrates...). I'm putting together a list of the part numbers based on the inventory lists and I know I can go to Brinklink to get them if available. Is this the best place? Any other recommendations? Seems reasonable but just wanted to confirm. I would prefer to use a site that takes PayPal. Thanks to all, Steve
  11. Yes sir, congrats! It's a great set, I expect you'll be thrilled. I'll send a message to talk details. Thanks again, Steve
  12. Just over 12 hours to go! If anyone needs any additional info on the set please let me know and I'll do my best. Thanks again, Steve
  13. 2 Day Auction Toys R Us 19-Oct-2002 Toa Nuva In-Store Promotional Event Game set Complete set includes: Original Box from LegoHeavy gauge vinyl game mat of Mata Nui (?), 4ft x 8ft!2 inflatable dice with Toa symbols6 foldable cardboard game pieces, 1 for each Toa Nuva6 Trivia cards, 1 for each Toa Nuva2 Page instruction sheet for store attendant1 Prototype "Quest for the Nest" mini board game, complete with board, punch out game pieces, dice and trivia cards still in packet Many high res Pix here: http://s26.photobucket.com/user/wuttin/library/Bionicle%20TRU%20Game%20and%20Posters?sort=9&page=1 Slideshow version: http://s26.photobucket.com/user/wuttin/slideshow/Bionicle%20TRU%20Game%20and%20Posters Kids who came (7 or 8 total for the event) were allowed to roll the dice; the attendant would read a question from the trivia card matching the space they landed on. They could keep going if they got it right. When you reached the end you got one of the free prototype games. Following the event the attendant boxed up the set and gave it to me. The game mat, originally shipped folded, was rolled and stored in a tube. Original fold marks are still visible but very minor. The set is in near mint condition. There are some minor blemishes on the mat from the actual game play which happened on the floor with kids leaning over. Very minor, will display superbly. Cardboard game pieces, dice, and trivia cards are nearly perfect. Auction will end 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time Monday Feb 2nd 2015, Winner will be highest bid received before the deadline. Bidding starts at $100 USD Payment via Paypal preferred, within 3 days of completion of auction. I will invoice the winning bidder at the email address supplied post-auction I STRONGLY prefer continental US bidders. The winning bidder will pay the entire actual S&H charge in addition to the final bid; shipping method and packing will be negotiated post auction but please recognize this is a big set and will likely cost a good amount to ship simply based on size. International shipping costs will be brutal. Many thanks for the interest and advice from the forum members and your patience with the posting. I generally list things on eBay but I want to make sure this set goes to the right home. Steve
  14. Hi TLH...yes, I will start a separate auction thread for the game set, but without the original TOA posters. Many thanks, Steve
  15. Thanks guys, all great advice and chatter. Class-A group here for sure. I spoke with my son and he would like to keep the original Toa posters to go with his figures. He has 5 of the 6 (missing Gali), pretty sure we got them at WalMart right around the same time as the TRU event (they were giving out exclusive masks and posters one morning if you happened to be lucky enough to know about it). He is, however, willing to part with the game set which includes the "trivia card" posters, one each for the six Toa Nuva. I've never auctioned anything on the site. Let me look into the "how to" and I'll post it, along with a pile of fresh, more detailed pictures. Thanks again to all, Steve
  16. Wow, thanks for the replies. Clearly some value. I'll have to chat with my son and see if he's interested in parting with them. Is $100 the going rate or would I expect to get more if I put it up for auction? I don't plan to do that but I do want to make sure that if we sell it gets a fair price. You can be honest, I understand this crazy collectibels biz (a bit). Thanks again, Steve
  17. Hi BZ folk, My son and I attended a Bionicle event back in the day (Oct-2002) that promoted the prototype "Quest for the Mask" game including the Toa Nuva. I convinced the nice lady who was running the event to pack everything up afterward and give me a call if it was going to be thrown out. She packed, she called, and she gave us the whole thing, including the original box from Lego. There are a few pictures here. The main gameboard (Mata Nui) is huge, printed on heavy gauge vinyl. The characters were fold up cardboard stand figures, and the dice were big blow up gizmos. http://s26.photobucket.com/user/wuttin/library/Bionicle%20TRU%20Game%20and%20Posters The protoype game is a small boxed afffair, complete We also have a number of posters that we got from corresponding events at Walmart, the orignial TOA and the Toa Nuva. I think we have them all. Just curious if these things are rare and valuable? I've never seen them on eBay so I have no gauge. All the best and thanks for any info, Steve
