    Gah! My Time!

    We had an assembly thing outside in the cold, about some folks I don't know from banks and crud, building an all-weather track for our school. Our current track is mud - I mean dirt, and so it kinda sucks. So, in order to get a new one, we apparently needed to sit outside for about 45 minutes and cut a ribbon with giant scissors.
     
    They didn't have a ribbon set up, they just got one out and cut it. It was pointless.
     
    Anyway, there's a lot of entries in BBC51 already. Wow. And they're all grey Toa. =\

    When you whoop somebody in a video game, then they just got owned. Everybody knows that.

    *that may or may not be an exaggeration.
     
    -I now have (at least temporarily) a jo..well I can't call it a job because I don't work for anyone. My mom has another job and I can help for money. There we go. Optional job.
     
    -This may mean I'm not on BZP as much. I'll still be on of course, but yeah, I likes me money.
     
    -BZPower's back online. Also, the sky is blue, and water is wet. Ice is cold. Fire is hot. I am incredibly observant and catch things that many do not.
     
    -I'm working on an entry into Czar's Sanitarium Contest, which can be found (cough cough) and criticized (cough) here.
     
    -One of my friends from way back when is back at our school.
     
    -30 Rock is an awesome show.
     
    -And we live a life of ease; every one of us has all we need. Sky of blue, and sea of green, in our yellow submarine.

    Vorox's tail/arm/whatever is placed weirdly.
     
    The red one's shoulder armor is placed stupidly. And it looks like we get a new axle piece.
     
    The black and red one seems pretty cool though.
     
    And Tarix! Tarix has what appears to be yellow eyes, a black hordika neck, and GOLD ARMOR! And Mata blue feet! Other than that, Tarix is completely uncreative and doesn't look that great, but cool pieces.
     
    If they're using Avtoran heads, that's fine from a creative standpoint, but they BREAK. But so do all the new square-y sockets.

    I got my Gorillapod in the mail today! =D
     
    For those of you who are thinking "What?", a Gorillapod is a flexible grippy tripod from a company called Joby. You can wrap it around things, you can move the legs to better footholds on bumpy surfaces, you can hold it to stabilize your camera, etc.
     
    I meant to take a picture of mine, but I ran out of camera battery life.
     
    Anyway, mine's the basic model and it's green. I love it, it's really tight and can grip on all kinds of stuff like doors and chairs and sleeping cats.

    Parental Controls started blocking that site a couple of days ago. I DON'T KNOW WHY
     
    So that'd explain it, and also explain why I haven't been on Flickr.

    I had forgotten that the Matoran were from Metru Nui, not Mata Nui. Also, why would the GBs have intentionally put Makuta into MN? It must have been a mistake..?

    And the funny thing is, I wasn't going to go. I'm too old to dress up. I was 'supervision' since my sister is 13 and the neighbor kid is like 9 and I'm 15. OMG PERSONAL INFORMATION
     
    So anyway, since I wasn't in costume, I didn't get as much candy, but I still got candy.
     
    And the kids are out with my mom now driving around getting candy and I'm on the computer 'cause I haven't blogged enough today and I'm tired of walkin' around 'cause I got no costume so why would I go? So I gotta go feed the dogs so bye.

    Does anybody know what I could do (without buying a bunch of stuff) to bring out the details of my Transformers?
     
    I know there's methods for this using all kinds of stuff, all I want to do is make the details on Skids, Mudflap, and Dirt Boss to stand out since they're hard to see. Should I buy a Gundam marker, or mix some paint and some water, or what? I have no idea.

    They're a neat idea, but I don't like them much.
     
    Here's what I'd change.
     
    It'd keep the ability to be used on either side, and it'd be the same size. But it'd look more like a hand.

    Also, a stupid acronym, for your entertainment. This was on my Drivers Ed teacher's board:

    Why Safety isn't its own letter is beyond me, but the acronym itself is so pointless and random that it doesn't matter.

    Also, I got my report card today. One C. =( All the rest is A's and B's. =D I remember when you could get free movie rentals for A's... =(

    Also, also, aaaalllsssoooooo, some people are coming by tomorrow to buy our car. =D I'd miss it, but it's really hard to get into and I always have to take out the back seat and it's heavy and bulky and huge and the only places to grab it are metal.

    Seriously guys, you don't need me to tell you it's been 365 days since you said hello to 2008.
     
    Anywho, we stayed up and watched movies last night. Superhero Movie was absolutely hilarious. Tropic Thunder had its moments of hilarity, but was more character-driven, really. Robert Downey Jr. made an awesome Austrailian guy playing an African-American guy. XD We also watched The Big Lebowski. That movie was pretty weird. It would have been better without all the cursing.
     
    I heard enough cursing last night to last me the rest of the year. XD
     
    So anyway, I'm going to try to live more this year. Happy 2009, friends. =)

    Heads

    I was reading a topic about using Glatorian heads on Toa vs. Re-using old heads or making new ones.
     
    The goal is to make new pieces as compatible as possible with old pieces. What I'd like is a head that fits Glatorian helmets but looks different. Maybe one with freaky sideways jaws for badguys or something. Maybe with a ball instead of a socket. Anyway, that would mean we'd get more Glatorian helmets, and we could use the old ones on different heads. Win-win!
     
    Or a mask that you have to put a pin into (like Maxilos') that also has a pinhole on the top could theoretically be made to fit either type of head. I think. Too lazy to do measurements or anything.

    For those who go to public schools: Does your school do AR? If so, what part o' the world are you in? (I don't need your home address or anything, I just want to know if this thing exists outside the midwest US.)
