    Since it seems so many people are going to enter, I'm starting the contest now. (Don't worry, I'll give you an extra two weeks because of BBC 58.) The point of this contest is to build anything from the Metroid Series. The contest begins now and ends on June 14th. That gives you almost two months to enter.

    Rules and Guidelines:
     
    1. You must build something from the Metroid Series. No Halo or Star Wars. If you need to find pictures of some Metroid Characters, I highly recommend Wikitroid.
     
    2. Your entry must somewhat resemble the character/creature you are creating. If your making a Warrior Ing, I don't want it to look like Spongebob. Don't worry, I won't disqualify you unless I know you did it on purpose.
     
    3. You can enter as many entries as you want. Your entry doesn't have to be a new moc, so you can enter any pre-existing Metroid mocs.
     
    4. No painted, custom, or cut parts. Also, if you want to use System parts, then the ratio of system should be no more than 25-75. (That's 25%.)
     
    5. To post your entry, all you have to do is post a comment in this entry and use this format.

    Topic Link: (optional)
    Reference Picture: (optional)
     
    6. If nothing goes wrong and the deadline doesn't change, voting will begin on June 15th and end on June 21st. (If there aren't enough entries, another member and I will judge the entries.)
     
    7. Prizes: I do have a prize in mind for the first place winner, but I'll wait and see if enough people enter. If enough people enter, there might be a prize.

    I'm planning on hosting a Metroid MOC Contest soon. I think I'll start it as soon as BBC 58 ends. (That way more people can enter.) Please comment if you are thinking about entering! (The Banner is made by the Rahkshi Master by the way.)

    I'm almost sure this BBC 58 contest is a joke, so I won't be starting on my entry until tomorrow. Honestly, why would you have a bionicle-building contest, and not be able to use bionicle pieces? The real contest is to not use any System parts or something else. (Yes, I do know BBC 54 was not use any System parts.)

    This new building contest, (Battle for the Gold Mask) is one of the only Building contests in a long time that I've really gotten excited over. It definitely looks like I'll have to take out my technic pieces and build some sort of creation for this one! Although the chances of winning are small, I'm still very excited to see all the entries for this contest!

    2 Good Years

    August 3rd marked my 2 year anniversary on BZpower. (Just look at my awesome spinny! ) I was a total noob when I joined, but the people of BZpower helped me mature, and I think they have also helped me become a better person. (Not to mention a better mocer!) Ever since I joined this site on August 3rd, 2008, my bionicle models have gone from this to this. (Quite an improvement! Just imagine what I can make in another two years!) Anyway, I decided to post this entry so I could thank those members that especially helped on my time here at BZpower.
     
    I would like to say thank you to Brickeens first of all. His amazing mocs first inspired mine, and I'd like to say that he has been a good friend to me since I joined BZpower. His great and fun personality also make him stand out from all those other Bzpower members, and I'd like to thank him. (For his mocs and his personality.)
     
    I'd also like to thank Omega Kardas. He and I have been friends for a really long time now, and he's always answered my questions or checked out my mocs. Nitrone and ~Aero~ have also been nice, so I'd like to thank them too.
     
    Last but not least, I'd like to thank Cyborg - Psychotic Penguin. (Now named Killer Rabbit.) He helped me when I first created my blog, and he also helped me get it up and running. He helped a noob with a terrible blog without even being asked, and I think that definitely deserves some recognition.
     
    Once again, I would like to thank all of the people at BZpower, and I'll be sure to post something like this in another year. B)

    I just read the first part of the Yesterday Quest, and it was epic! I'm happy that Gelu finally gets a bigger role, and the toa team members are awesome. The new villian is pretty cool too.

    Since it seems a lot of people need more time to finish their mocs, I'm extending the contest. The new deadline is Monday, June 14th. Make sure to get your entries in! (I'm very sorry to the people who entered their entries in on time, but I got messages from a couple members saying they needed an extension. However, you could always enter another entry in these two weeks.) Please post in the Metroid MOC Contest entry if you have questions or comments.
     
    Edit: I'll also send messages to people who said they wanted to enter, reminding them to get their entries in.

    Edit: I picked the reference picture for Brickeens based on the Pirate that looked most like his entry. Shadow Wasp's entries were sent to me, so that is why they aren't in the official contest entry.

    Welcome!

    Welcome to my Blog!
     
    Since this is my first entry, I guess I will be posting a little information about myself. First of all, I am 15 years old, and I live in the United States. I like bionicle, star wars, metroid prime, halo, and video games. I joined Bzpower about a year ago. (After lurking around as a guest for a couple years... ) I finally spent all of the money I got from Christmas, and I used the 7 bucks I had left to buy myself a premier membership. Here are a couple of facts about me...
     
     
    1. I am a fanatic about Metroid Prime. I've played all of the games, and I've also built a ton of mocs from the games. I built my first mocs from Metrod Prime two years ago, and then I built more one year ago. (Gallery) Recently, I made my 3rd version of the Metroid Prime characters, and they are looking better than ever. If you ever have a suggestion of a character I could build from the series, just send me a pm and I would be happy to build it for you.

    2. I moc a ton, so here is my Brickshelf Gallery: Gallery I will probably post a lot of entries in my blog telling about the progress of my mocs.
