IC: Krayzikk, Hospital"Thank you. I promise to give you more cigarettes on your birthday." Karzyikk smiled somewhat.

IC: Tain, CKC"I figured out how to transfer a man's mind into a computer in four hours. I had to run 42 simulations, and the only reason it worked was because I didn't give up. A little shout out to the newspapers that I helped would have been nice." Tain's expression was colder than the element of the manager sitting opposite him.

IC: Krayzikk, HospitalKrayzikk was persistent. "Tairel, how do you think he would respond in this situation? I am not his best friend but I'm worried."

IC: Tain, CKC"Knew? You hired me to do a job, which was not easy in fact it was groundbreaking, and then told the whole Karzahni forsaken city that the CKC did it all by itself!" Tain was severely annoyed.

IC: Tain, CKCTain squinted at the toa. "Wait a minute....... It was you!!!!! You are the brakas who hired me on that project and then told the press that everything was done by the CKC!"

Here is my point:We are all trying to come up with ways to explain the lack of a staff-driven plot. Granted some are creative or amusing to read, but it is what is happening. So, as long as we all understand that, my work here is done.

IC: Laserbeak, Ta-KoroLaserbeak perked up. From Onuzek's shoulders, se said "And I'm sorry I said all the things I said about you in my head. They were pretty bad."Krayzikk nodded, but didn't look convinced. "That is part of what worries me. Think about it, if what you told me is accurate, then he knows for a fact that he is responsible for putting the one he 'likes' into a hospital bed. Combine that with the stress of being the one to operate on said friend? I am kind of worried."

IC: Tain, CKCTain nodded and followed Ga'mal. He examined his guest pass. It was an ingenious device, clever enough to realize who was who and what time it was. The pass would record everything he did and alert security of anything suspicious.

OOC: Pein, you managed to surprise me. Congrats. Now, I have to find out what is going to happen.IC: Krayzikk, Hospital"Wait a minute. Don't you doctors need a real good reason to leave during work hours, especially if you are short-staffed? If so, why'd Takimoc leave?" Krayzikk asked. It suddenly hit him that Takimoc knew that he had fired the blast that downed Riaril. He hoped the toa didn't do something stupid.

IC: Krayzikk, HospitalKrayzikk laughed as he produced a pack from the small bag he was carrying. "Been a while, has it?"

OOC: Probably one of the managers, who is also probably a GM NPC.IC: Tain, CKCNot much had changed since he was here last. Still the same lobby and the receptionist looked awfully familiar. "Sounds good to me, Ga'mal."

IC: Krayzikk, Ta-KoroKrayzikk left the hospital, using his mak to warp from place to place during his errands. In his travels, he picked up:-Several packs of Po-Koran cigarettes-A couple bottles of the best wine he could find.-A bottle of a rather curious drink entitled 'Furnace Salamanders' Revenge'.With that last one, the bartender had seemed to stifle a laugh as he handed the drink over. Krayzikk shrugged as he thought about it, and started making his way toward the hospital, smiling all the way.

IC: Tain, Steps of the CKC buildingTain chuckled as he opened his door and stepped out. "I can do that." He looked at the building and breathed deeply. He had always loved the way this place smelled, like a fresh computer. "So this is where the magic happens. Heh, always wanted to say that. Anyway, we should probably get to the bottom of the whole internet problem."

IC: Tain, Taxi"Well, this Guard Detective by the name of Krayzikk Altair, one of the best they had, got ambushed while pursuing a criminal. He was mortally injured. He was rushed to the hospital where some scientist got the crazy idea to save his mind to a computer, and then put it in a robotic body. At the time, the CKC was running low on employees with knowledge regarding the combination of the mind and technology. So they called me. I, in less than four hours by the way, had to find a way to make the mind transfer happen. It was successful and the cop was later brought back online inside a customized prototype H.A.M.M.E.R. drone." Tain frowned. "Of course, I never got any credit for what I did."

IC: Laserbeak, Onuzek's Shoulders"He is fine." Laserbeak called down. "He had a head injury earlier, I checked him out, he is cleared for all but heavy combat." She paused. "I had the same diagnosis. Oh, and Onuzek? Next time someone says that, tell me and I will tell them point by point why they have something wrong with them."

IC: Tain, Taxi to CKC"I thik I will. Sounds a lot better than working out of my apartment, listening to people yelling all the time. Any way you look at it it is a benefit." Tain chuckled. "I worked with the CKC once. Ever hear about the ReBoot Project? That cop who got all but killed and they transferred him to a robotic body?"

IC: Tain, Taxi + Krayzikk, Hrunja's Game Shop" I wish. Been looking for one for years. Only place hiring people like me is the CKC and I never got around to reapplying." Tain smiled.Krayzikk, unsure whether the Game Shop was open, knocked on the door.

IC: Laserbeak, Onuzek's shoulders"Join the club, dude. Why do ya think I came up here?" Laserbeak managed. She was seeing double.

IC: Tain, Taxi + Krayzikk, Game ShopTain climbed into the cab and closed the door "That would be much appreciated. Been a while since i had anything interesting happen. Most of the time people hire me for webpages. Webpages! It gets so boring."

IC: Laserbeak, Ta-KoroLaserbeak kept giggling, only stopping as the less pleasant effects of her drink set in. She flew back up to, and settled on, Onuzek's shoulders. "I'm gonna stay up here a while, Onuzek. I just got dizzy."

IC: Tain, Getting into TaxiTain opened the door and gestured for Ga'mal to enter. "Unless you have some awesome authority, I will have to wait at the door and hear about it from you."

OOC: Just realized I left Krayz out of my above post. Oops.IC: Laserbeak, Ta-KoroLaserbeak's expression soured momentarily. "I see enough of that in my profession. Or rather, the profession I'm trying to get out of." Her expression brightened again. "Besides, if I sneak hug people I get to laugh at their confusion!" At this, she couldn't restrain her giggle.Krayzikk nodded. "Alright, I'll be back soon." With that, he started for the door.

IC: Laserbeak, Ta-Koro + Krayzikk, HospitalLaserbeak nodded, still smiling herself. " Yes, my name is Laserbeak. Thank you, your name is pretty as well." She resisted the urge to giggle, as the effects of her drinks were still plaguing her. "I promise, I will be a little more lucid in the morning. I am still trying to resist the urge to hug people. It usually happens when I'm drunk."

IC: Tain, Following Ga'malTain bid the others his farewell amd followed Ga'mal out the door. "So where are we going?"

IC: Laserbeak, Ta-Koro + Krayzikk, HospitalLaserbeak smiled a genuine smile and hopped down from Onuzek's shoulders. To Skyra, she said "I hear it works wonders for hangovers." Turning back to Yasashiv, she smiled again and said "You know, besides my team, you are the only one who has ever noticed to say something good about my themed appearance. Normally it either receives no comment or is insulted. Thank you." She paused, "This is going to sound ironic, but, what is your name?"Krayzikk nodded. 'Will do. Anything else the hospital needs me to pick up while I'm out?"
