    Sick...and F1

    Hey guys, I’ve been really sick these past couple of days and that’s why I haven’t been on much. I’ve got stomach-ache, tiredness and just the general feeling on ‘blah’.
     
    On a much lighter note (cue F1 news ) Toro Rosso have kept Jaime Alguersuari as their second driver, Force India have also kept both their current drivers, Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi, BMW provisionally agrees to sell its BMW Sauber Formula 1 team back to team founder Peter Sauber and rumours have it that Kamui Kobayashi is to partner Robert Kubica and Renault.
     
    Finally a recent survey on the ‘Tube’ discovered that Sebastian Vettel was the best driver of 2009.

    Bionicle Reaches Its End

    I’m sure you’re all aware that Bionicle will end next year and because the topic is a bit wild I’m also going to put my opinion here.
     
    To be honest I didn't see Bionicle lasting any further than 2011. I was slowly drifting away from the story but I’m still a bit upset. Bionicle has been my hobby for nearly 9 years now but I can’t wait to see this new line and what it is about.
    Those who are saying ‘let’s all kill Lego’ should relax, and anyway;
     
    I don't see F1 ending anytime soon.

    F1 Stuff

    More F1 2010 news! (Rubbish title, I know. )
     
    Timo Glock will race for Manor, it will be interesting to see what he can achieve. So much for him going to Renault with Kubica.
     
    Now all you F1 fans will know that Mercedes took over Brawn and blah, blah, blah. So what’s happens now?
     
    Button and Hamilton at McLaren. I personally want to see the two Brits in different cars next season, is it Senna and Prost all over again?
     
    Now what about Brawn Mercedes, eh? Well you get two amazing German drivers in what could be one amazing German team. But who could they be? I'm going to say Heidfeld and Rosberg, Glock is now confirmed at Manor, I doubt Vettel will want to leave Red Bull and Sutil has already said he'll be happy staying at Force India.
     
    Two potentially good line-ups there, 2010 is getting more exciting by the minute!

    Non-uniform

    Yeah, so today was non-uniform day for anti-bullying and we all had to wear at least one item of blue clothing. I wore my jeans and a blue hoodie. There were also selling badges and cakes and people were going round dressed up weirdly so others would sponsor them. I almost forgot it was a school day.
     
    Oh, and apparently Team US F1 have signed José María López
    EDIT: Turns out he has signed a conditional contract.

    Halloween

    So today was Halloween, as you all probably know. I didn’t go trick or treating, I’m too old for that stuff, but my sister did and she brought a lot of sweets and junk food for us all. Anyway I carved out the pumpkin and here it is.

    Well not much to say other that a good performance by Heidfeld and Kubica on BMWs last F1 race. Solid 10th for Buemi on his 21st birthday but disappointing session for Sutil, Alonso and Raikkonen.

    Dentists

    So today I went to the dentists for a check-up, he had to clean up a few of my teeth. When he used the hose it scared my little brother and he couldn’t stop crying so my dentist could check him up, my little brother’s only 3 and it was his first time.
     
    Oh, and my Lego catalogue came which is odd as I thought there was a postal strike.
    BTW, my dentist looks a lot like Juan-Pablo Montoya. =P

    So got F1 99-02 and downloaded a modification that gives me the 2006 season as well (because 2006 was my fav F1 season). At the moment I'm the Super Aguri of Yuji Ide. Super Aguri FTW!

    Calling All '9' Fans.

    Yeah so today I decided to make a Legend Reborn fan trailer 9 style. So it’s was going well when I remembered the bit in the trailer where it flicks through all the characters (1-9) and I thought who could be who.
     
    So here is the list of TLR characters.
     
    Mata-Nui
    Ackar
    Kiina
    Berix
    Metus
    Gresh
    Raanu
    Vastus
    Tarix
    Strakk
     
    And here are the 9 characters.
     
    1=to protect us.
    2=to inspire us
    3=to define us
    4=to teach us
    5=to guide us
    6=to lead us
    7=to defend us
    8=to guard us
    9=to save us
     
     
    9 of them as you can see. So I need you 9 fans to help me decide which number for each character i.e. Raanu=1 Mata-Nui=9 etc. But make them have sort of the same personality like 1 and Raanu are both leaders if you know what I mean.

    Phew, what a race the start was rather chaotic as Kovalainen spun nearly taking out Fisichella. Then Webber cut across Raikkonen damaging the Finns front wing. As Sutil tried to pass Raikkonen he was hit by Trulli. Sutil was then sent flying and collided with Alonso. Trulli then decided to blame the crash on Sutil as the both nearly went into a fight. Kovalainen and Raikkonen then pitted and Kovalainen took the fuel hose with him, and the leaking fuel dramatically cought fire right in Raikkonen's face. The Finn was ok. Next Jenson Button was stuck behind Kamui Kobayashi and the newbie refused to give in. Nick Heidfeld later broke down as did Nico Rosberg’s. Kazuki Nakajima then careered across the gravel at the end of the back straight. He smacked into a tyre wall. Replays showed he was trying to get past Kobayashi - who weaved on his fellow Jap. Lewis Hamilton then came into the pits - and almost made a mess of it on the way out down the pit lane. Barrichello's awful, awful luck at Interlagos continued. The left rear was punctured, which must have happened when he was clipped by Hamilton. Finally Mark Webber went on to win the race and Jenson Button became the new Formula 1 world champion! Still one more race to go and Vettel and Barrichello must battle for 2nd and 3rd.

    Phew, what a qualifying session and a well deserved pole position for Barrichello! Fisichella’s spin out, Liuzzi’s crash and almost an hour of seeing if the track was safe kept delaying the qualifying but in the end that final session was worth the wait. Great performances from Sutil, Buemi and Kubica, while on the other end of the grid Button and Vettel are going to find it hard getting valuable points for the world championship. Newbie Kamui Kobayashi also did well for his first ever F1 qualifying. Can’t wait for the race tomorrow!

    Only 13 minutes of practise because of torrential rain. The session was quickly ended after Renaults Romain Grosjean had a huge crash, luckily he’s fine but I’m not sure whether or not they’ll get his car ready for qualifying. Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen also went for a spin but that’s all the action we got. More rain expected during qualifying.

    Yeah so today we had the day off school as it was teacher training.
     
    Spent the day at my friend’s house playing on the Xbox 'n' stuff.
     
    Anyway just got home and decided to start on a piece of art that I've been meaning to start for ages. It's just a picture of some of the 2009 sets in movie style. I sketched out Mata Nui, Ackar, Kiina, Gresh, Tarix, Gelu and Vastus all in awesome poses. It's going to be hard to do the detail as Tarix is the only one of those sets I've got, so wish me luck.
    Don't know when it will be finished.
