    What does it mean?
     
    Why, that is the pattern of the scars on my right leg (going from top to bottom) left behind by the stitches from my operation back in July, written in ancient Mayan numerals. Or could it have some deeper significance? (If you can think of one, let me know).
     
    And speaking of my leg, I'm probably at 90-95% right now. I can do all the basics, it's just things like maintaining my foot's arch and full range of motion in my knee that are holding me back.

    Greetings, blog readers.
     
    I would like to make this entry today as a call to arms against the RPG forum. For too long it has been ruled by dull, rule-bound games with massive walls of text. No one wants to read an entire novel if they want to play a roleplay game! Recently, I entered the RPG contest with a very short entry and there was outrage. And why should there be? I didn't break any of the rules and for once you didn't need three hours just to read the darn thing.
     
    So if you hate reading massive walls of text, if you want to revolutionize the RPG forum, if you want to annoy the hardcore RPGers, or if you like following me blindly, then VOTE FOR ME.

    Simple Grammar Trick

    Lay is to lie as raise is to rise.
     
     
    e.g.
    You can lie down or rise up.
    You can lay a book down or you can raise a book up.
     
     
    So it is incorrect so say something like, "I'm going to lay down for a bit." That's like saying, "I'm going to raise out of bed in the morning."
     
    But wait, using "lay" when you mean "lie" helps to remove any ambiguity between reclining and recounting falsehoods. In any case, the meaning is still understood! Besides, certain conjugations of the verb "to lie" can use the word "lay". Wouldn't it be more efficient to condense them into a single verb?
     
    Aha, yes, but we all know the true purpose of grammar is rarely to dispel ambiguity or promote efficiency, rather it is a useful marker of social class... You filthy peasant.

    More Interviews!

    I love how the voice actors so closely match their characters.
     
    The voice of Pohatu was very structured and organized for his interview, made sure everything was ready before getting started, but ended up being really friendly and down to earth.
     
    Meanwhile, the voice of Lewa was a few minutes late, talking a mile a minute, constantly cracking jokes, is an avid gamer, and then had to reschedule when his Internet signal wasn't good enough to make the Skype call. Hopefully it all works out with him.     Coincidentally, the last possible day of exams next semester is in 150 days, whereby I will be done with school forever.

    Philosophy

    I've thought long and hard about what I want my life to be about. There are so many philosophies out there, but I've found they're all pretty limiting in one way or another. But I think I've found the one that suits me the best.
     
    From now on, I'm going to be a humanitarian!
     
     
     
     
    I've already tried being a vegetarian, but I think this diet will be easier to maintain. Just don't tell the cops. They're already pretty upset after my egalitarian diet. Which is a shame, because eagles are just so darn tasty.

    Sharing Clothes

    Is it just me or is sharing clothes about the grossest thing ever?
     
    I don't share my clothes with anyone. Rule of thumb: if it touches me, ain't no way I'm letting it touch you. This goes for shoes, socks, pants, shirts, underpants, jackets, coats, hats, bathing suits, earbuds, and anything else you can consider clothes.
     
    I'll often hear on TV or in person about girls borrowing things from one another. I just don't think I could bring myself to do that with someone else, male or female. It's not that I'm selfish or anything, I just really don't like people touching my stuff. Like, I'll share money or food just fine, just not something I intend to get back.
     
    Don't even get me started about people using my laptop.

    Well folks, I've had a nice long run posting on BZPower.com, but now that I've reached 9999 posts, I think it's time for me to retire from posting in the main forums and start a prosperous career of posting in New Member Q&A, Bionicle Artwork II: Shops & Kits, Bionicle Games & Trivia, BZP Voting Booth, Completely Off Topic, and blogs.
