  1. Alright, time's up, let's do this.

    LEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIIIINS!

Power will use Handling Patch before sending out a shockwave to throw Matoro back. After taking to the sky with CreateRoads.EXE, Power will prevent Matoro's possible use of the Kadin by erratically 'flying' around (with lots of drifting) while hammering him with Shockbolts, Lightning strikes and the occasional Lightning net, avoiding his Spear and/or Shield blasts. If Matoro sends out a blizzard, Power will energize it with his own Lightning Element to turn it into a storm and bring down more powerful attacks on Matoro by guiding the Lightning as best he can.

  2. Ahehehehe... I swear I didn't mean to break the right side *sweatdrop*

    Awright, strategy.

Power will use a mixture of Handling Patch and a minor amount of his Lightning abilities to his body to get the edge in Agility over Evo so as to escape his first attack before using CreateRoads.EXE to get off the ground and away from any ground-based attacks. He will then begin 'flying' erratically while weaving around and blasting Evo with a mixture of Shockbolts, Strike Blasts and Lightning blasts, trying to make him slip up on any ice that he may have formed on the ground. If he does, Power will quickly send out a Lightning net to 'ensnare' him before going full out with Lightning charged Shockbolts to pin him down and wear him out.

  3. Welp, I got something to look forward to now - A tournament and some Widgets.

    PleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattle

    pleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattlepleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattle

    pleaseletPowergetpastfirstbattle...

Yes - that is my prayer to get past the first round. What? I kinda would like more Widgets.

    EDIT: OH [censored]!

  4. Quite simple Enak - The first page (link provided just for the sake of laziness) has all the rules etc of how this all works, but the dumbed down explanation is;

If you wanna buy something, just say/type "I'd like to buy [insert item/trainer] for [fighter]".

Stat Trainers are there to boost your fighters abilities and increase your chances of victory.

If you wanna buy a Weapon Reforge, you get to choose the shape and name and, occasionally, the Elemental power that goes with it (i.e Strakk has a clear Ice affinity whereas Toxic Reapa (I think, I don't keep up with HF) doesn't).

Items CAN be shared across two fighters, but only if a) both fighters are the same species (So a Glatorian item won't work with a Hero Factory) or b) the item is under Misc.

    Now, onto battling. Pretty simple.

Just PM someone you'd like to battle, negotiate where you want to fight (there's a list of Arena's you can use), who fights who and for how much.

After that, just make a post here saying, for example, "Phoenixian and I are having a match, Strakk vs Power in Coliseum for 1000 W each," and submit your strategy with spoiler tags (there's a link that Pahrak kindly added for spoiler tag help on the first page).

So, an example fight would be the following; (please note that for fair play, you are not allowed to sneakpeek at your opponents strategy. This is a very basic strategy and an example)

[spoiler ] Power will blast Strakk's weapon out of his hand before charging at him and tackling him into the wall. He will then surge his Lightning elemental power into Strakk while blasting him with his weapons

So yeah, that's the dumbed down version, but I recommend reading the first page.

  5. SonicBOOM and I have agreed to a match between Lava and Skrall in the Training Sphere. I'm not putting any Widgets forward but Sonic is sponsoring 250.

    Strategy

Lava will immediately blast the Heroball away from him with a fireball while using his favored combo of Handling Patch and CreateRoads.EXE to speed up to it and direct it to Skrall. While Skrall is busy dealing with the ball, Lava will access the controls and set the training area to Quatros. After this is done, Lava will dive down and, after disarming Skrall, lift him from behind before dropping him into vines that'll entagle him and immobilize him for Lava's Firebomb Wheel.

  6. Tch, maybe I oughta drop Power and pick up a Glatorian or Toa... considering I only really know BIONICLE tactics and not Hero, Slizer or RoboRiders... I'll wait until after the tourney to make up my mind though.

Any case, Lava and Power once again open. Seriously, I'll take all challenges.

Also, Exo (Oh yeah, I ain't gonna drop that mate - helps me remember who ye are haha), with the Upgrades, do the special abilities (i.e RobRiders Wheel damage based on highest stat) count only in Tournaments or in all battles? I probably asked but with my sketchy memory it's probably running around my mind... naked and covered in taco sauce and bagels.

  7. Confirming match with Phantom. No Widgets to sponsor, I'm broke... and I don't really wanna risk my gear.

Power will power up with Handling Patch before blinding Nex with Heat Spine, spearing him with Lightning and blasting him with a Wheel into a fuel pod which will then be detonated courtesy of a Shockbolt. After moving out of the way of an incoming Nex and steam/fire jets, Power will pin Nex down with dual Shockbolts firing until the match is won.

And like the ijit I am, I forgot the end spoiler tag...

  8. Confirming match with Keizah.

Power will use Handling Patch then CreateRoads.EXE to get off the ground and away from any of Gali's underground water attacks. He will then send send several volleys of Shockbolts out to distract Gali while striking the various metal scraps with Lightning to charge them, creating a large Lightning field that'll damage Gali should she step on them or use water attacks that connect with them. When Gali uses the Staff of Illusion, Power will send out a pulse of Lightning to disrupt it and continue with showering Gali with Shockbolts. Power will finish the fight by blasting sand onto Gali's arms and legs then hitting them with Lightning, turning them into glass and keeping her from moving, then charging a Strike Blast and infusing it with Lightning to blast her.

Power will be in the upcoming Tournament. Kinda said I would, I think.

  9. Confirming match with Vox, Lava vs Kopaka in the City-Realm, he'll put how many Widgets he's sponsoring while I am putting up a CrossRoads.EXE (which equals 3,500 Widgets - we've confirmed he's gonna sell).

Lava will use Handling Patch, then his Skakdi Spine, alongside his Element control to increase the heat, to super-heat Kopaka's Staff of Silence and force him to drop it. He will then project a field of heat around him to weaken any ice Kopaka throws at him while sending a Wheel at the Staff to knock it into the area before using the Spine to blind Kopaka temporarily so as to escape into the nearest skyscraper and travelling upwards as fast as possible. As Kopaka has no idea where Lava has gone, he will be vulnerable to the decently sized chunk of wall that Lava will cut out with his Element-enhanced Spine.

If Kopaka then enters the building (seeing as I'm pretty sure he can't freeze the whole bleedin' thing. (He can't, right?)) Lava will use his Spine, Elemental power and Volcanic Edges to turn his next Wheel into a decent strength firebomb before firing it at the level above Kopaka, causing a good deal of the floor to detonate and rain flaming debris upon him. Should Kopaka survive that, Lava will zip up to the top floor, target the closest swinging wrecking ball and, timing it hopefully right, blasting the cable so that the ball flies into the side of the building and causing it to begin to topple. Lava will then jump off and project flames when he nears the ground the lessen the drop before getting far away from the building.

  10. Yes, a comedy would be epic. Question is, does only the author throw in stories or can anyone?

Also, I think I'll just wipe my money. ****^ with it, I'll make a comeback somehow!

2 +1 Agility and 2 +1 Mind trainers for Lava.

    3,000

    x 4

    = 12,000

^What, censor was gonna blur it out anyways.

  11. Confirming match with Vox, Power vs Kopaka in the Charred Forest for 3000 W each.

Power will be bringing CreateRoads.EXE and Heat Spine.

Power will begin by blasting Kopaka quickly with a Lightning-charged volley of Shockbolts, before blinding him with the Heat Spine. He will then use CreateRoads to weave above and through the trees, using a combo of Heat Spine and Lightning strikes to set the forest alight as much as possible to target Kopaka's Elemental weakness, while dodging as many of Kopaka's attacks as possible, using pulses of Lightning to destroy or disrupt any that come too close. If Kopaka takes to the air on an ice-slide, Power'll use Heat Spine to melt some of the ice to amplify his following Lightning blast to blow Kopaka out of the air. As Power is doing this, he is trying to lure Kopaka into a working trap. Should he succeed, Power will immediately blind Kopaka again with the Heat Spine before charging a dual Strike Blast to inflict some heavy damage before zooming off before Kopaka breaks loose. This will continue until the end of the battle.

I have a feeling this won't go my way, due to the insane difference in strength between Power and Kopaka, but I'm still hoping it will.

  12. I was gonna wait for a few more chapters, but I want to become the best author I can. So, without further ado...

    Chapters: Six

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Enjoy.

  13. Hey readers, Chapter Six is out and we get a little taste of history. Sorry it's been this long, kinda got wrapped up in Technic Coliseum by Exo/Pahrak. Well, that and the little author in my head is gettin worn out.

Anyways, next up will be a good old fashioned duel. Not to the death, let's face it we know who'd win. And there will be a little twist.

Exo, I will neither deny nor confirm... just yet. But we will see 'Kage' (just the codename, people, not the actual name - gotta call em somethin' right?) pop into the story soon.

  14. Chapter Six: A Little History.

“So, Amohn,” Dreykin started, pausing in his choice of whether to get some pork or chicken, “What did you mean by ‘bloodlines’? I mean, I know that’s how to trace family, but you made it sound…”

“Royal?” Amohn guessed, both choosing their food and walking to the table at which Phaenyx and Emare currently sat. At Dreykin’s nod, she explained, “Well, I don’t entirely remember the whole story; you’d have to ask the Loremaster -”

“The what-now?” interrupted Phaenyx, his forkful of steak hanging halfway between his mouth and the plate piled almost five inches high, looking puzzled at Amohn. Emare took this moment to quickly steal his cheese-drizzled eggs, eat them and pretend nothing happened. "Loremaster, Phaenyx, the Loremaster. Basically, an elderly person who’s main duty is to tell the young their ancestral legacy,” Amohn told him, fighting to hide a smirk as Phaenyx nodded, turned back to his plate, noticed the eggs missing and started looking around with a frown for the perpetrator.

“Anyways, the story goes that a long, long time ago a man had four children; three boys and a girl. The first saw the fields around the house and, as they were hungry, proceeded to till and farm them. The second, born a few years after, saw that the family was living in poor conditions and began managing the coin. Their names were Qalin, who eventually started the Three Farm Family, and Hufano, who founded the Kinsui family.”

“The ‘Three Farm Family’?” Dreykin asked.

“Yeah, the Shiroame, Kokudo and Haiirohi. All three were started within a few years of each other and all have some of Qalin’s blood in them.”

“Odd names,” Phaenyx commented before taking going back to nibbling the bone that remained of one of three steaks. Amohn opened her mouth to reply before blinking in confusion. Didn’t he have more food than that? She asked herself, glancing between the buffet table and the scrap littered plate in front of Phaenyx.

Dreykin noticed this and, placing a hand over his eyes in exasperation, put the girl at ease. “Don’t worry about it, Amohn. Phaenyx simply enjoys food… to the point of finishing it that fast sometimes.”

Amohn blinked twice before following Dreykin’s advice. Clearing her throat, she answered the eldest at the table, “Well, they’re words from the Ancient Languages. Just like Ahkotsku.”

Phaenyx raised an eyebrow, keeping an eye on Emare as she ran back to the buffet to get dessert, as he asked, “Really? Huh… go figure. So, what do they all mean?”

“I think I can answer that better than my daughter.”

The group turned their heads to the voice and saw a woman around Ielarae’s age with braided white hair that fell to her neck and wrapped into a ponytail, hazel eyes and a dark red dress that was similar to Amohn’s in style.

“Hey, Mom, this is Dreykin and Phaenyx -” “Ahkotsku,” The woman finished, tousling Amohn’s hair affectionately before continuing, “My name is Me’vahre Shiroame.”“Pleasure to meet you,” Dreykin and Phaenyx said in perfect unison, both giving each other deadpan looks after while Me’vahre chuckled at the sight.

“That reminds me so much of the days when Ielarae and myself where out on our quest,” she said, eyes misting over slightly, “We’d rock up to a Battlefield, announce ourselves and we’d both shout that we wanted to be first at the exact same time for about a half hour… after a while the Element-Lords started having Apprentices on standby in case we showed up.”

Phaenyx chuckled at the imagery while Dreykin settled for a small smile before asking, “So, going back to what we were talking about…”

“Ah, yes,” Me’vahre quickly pulled out of her memories and regarded the four in front of her, Emare having returned with a head-sized mound of strawberry ice cream, before continuing, “Well, Ahkotsku is actually a more, well, Shadian use of the name Ankoku, meaning Darkness. Shiroame, Kokudo and Haiirohi mean Whiterain, Blacksoil and Greyfire, and Kinsui means Goldwater.

“However, there are other families that are a part of Qalin’s bloodline. The Three Families are just more directly descendant. In any case, my daughter has yet to finish her brief version of the story.”

Amohn jumped a little when she realized it, and sent Phaenyx a reproachful glance that caused him to look deadpanned back. With a short sigh, she went on as though there wasn’t an interruption, “After some time passed, the Man and his two sons became rather wealthy and managed to hire some of the local people to help with farming. Qalin would always be out in the field first and last to leave, while Hufano busied himself with monitoring the coin.”

“However, as will always be,” interjected Me’vahre, “such riches brought unwelcome attention to the House. After a particularly brutal threat, the Man bore two more children – twins, a boy and a girl. As time continued, these two trained from the moment they were strong enough, until they become accomplished swordsmen.”

“These two were named Kosei and Ushinawa much later, for their true names have been lost to time,” a new, male voice interrupted. The group looked at the latest member, seeing a lithe man with grey hair, a wrinkled brow and focused, yet weary blue eyes. And by his side, with a smug look on his face, was Tiotae.

“These are the children, Father,” he began, “These are the two that hit me, and their servant friend.”

Me’vahre raised an eyebrow at this and, placing her elbow to the table and her chin to her hand, proceeded to shut the boy up. “My, my, it’s been a while, Tiotae. Stopped wetting the bed yet? Or haven’t you controlled that from when I visited last year?”

As Phaenyx, Amohn and Emare burst out laughing and Dreykin chuckled, Tiotae turned bright red before turning to his father, only for him to hold a hand up to prevent the whining.

“Still sharp-tongued as ever, Me’vahre,” he stated before turning to the other children, “I am, as you can guess, Tiotae’s father. My name is Caeril Kinsui and I would like to know why my son came screaming to me in the middle of a chat about being hit. Before that, who am I talking to?”

“Amohn Shiroame,” she chuckled, wiping tears off her cheeks.

“Phaenyx -” he began, trying desperately to not choke on laughter.

“And Dreykin Ahkotsku, sir,” the other finished.

“Tee-Tee hit a tree!” Emare jumped in, a wide grin on her face.

“Emare,” Caeril said as he looked at his daughter, “please do not get involved.”

Emare looked at her father and, with a pout, sat back in her chair and played with her ice cream. Caeril gave her head a rub, smiling softly before turning to the two and quirking an eyebrow. “Well?”

Phaenyx sighed, sobered and took the hint. “We were talking with Amohn when this bakayarō,” he stuck his thumb at Tiotae, “walked in and told Amohn to get him a drink. After some… small talk, he tried to make himself out to be better.”

“So Niisan and I decked him for being pompous,” Dreykin finished quite calmly.

Caeril massaged the bridge of his nose, sighed and offhandedly asked, “Tiotae, what have I said about acting that way?”

“But, Father, as Kinsui I am better than them,” the boy objected before being silenced by a look from his father.

“Actually,” Me’vahre interjected, “and I don’t want this getting into your heads, you two,” glancing at the Ahkotsku boys, who nodded, “as Ahkotsku’s, they are better than you, kiddo.”

The three fell into silence at this, one of them uncharacteristically so. It didn’t last long.

“Well then,” Tiotae said, his chest heaving dramatically (and rather comically), “I will change that.” Turning to Phaenyx, he grabbed a napkin off the table and whipped it against the others face. “I, Tiotae Kinsui, challenge you to a duel. The loser admits the victor is better.”

As everyone else at the table stared at Tiotae in surprise, Phaenyx looked at him blankly. This feeling, this… excitement in my chest… what is it? he asked himself.

In the middle of the forest, the cloaked figure pauses mid-stride as something catches their attention. Turning back the way they came and regarding it momentarily, a black flame erupts around them, obscuring everything. A trail of flame suddenly arcs out of the small inferno and into the night sky.

    Review

  15. Good match, Keizah. Cheers for the gear, Exo.

AWRIGHT! Let's get a Showdown happening!

Canis and I are havin' a Two on Two, between Lava and Power vs Millennium and Virus, Seismic Showdown and for 2,000 W each. Let's rock'n'roll!

Power will use Handling Patch, then both will use CreateRoads.EXE to stay a few feet above the ground, both aiming to blast any items Millennium or Virus bring out of their grasps. Lava will use his Heat Skakdi Spine to temporarily blind Millennium by striking his eyes, then both will use a Elemental Wheel to blast Virus into the closest lake or pond, where Power will send spears of Lightning to use the heated water to increase the damage dealt to Virus while Lava combines his Skakdi Spine and his Fire abilities to weld some of Millennium's harder-to-reach joints together to restrict movement. When Millennium uses his Light to create illusions, Power will send out pulses of Lightning to find the real one and Lava will blast him with fireballs.

If a storm happens while this is going on, Lava and Power will quickly band together, Power putting up an electrical 'forcefield' and then charging the storms with Lightning to hopefully strike around them. Lava will make sure that neither Millennium or Virus can come close so Power can focus on his task. When the storm is over, both will resume blasting their opponents. If Millennium puts a boot on either or both of them, Lava will heat the air around it to distort it enough for the wheel to slip free. Should Virus use his Tendrils, Lava will blast them with fire and Power will use widespread Shockbolts to keep Millennium busy. This will continue until the match ends.

I will honestly be surprised if this strategy doesn't make this interesting... Sorry for the extra work, Exo!

  16. Hey, Exo, after you're done judging Keizah and my battle, and Lava's back in the garage, could I please buy a Heat Vision Skakdi Spine for Lava and a CreateRoads.EXE for Power.

    25,000 W

    - 15,000 W

    =10,000 W

Man, I needa start challenging and winning if I want an OS upgrade.
