  1. Kali shook her head. "Not necessary. This is our first action since the Defense of Ga-Koro. We need to do this on our own."Kalama nodded. "You're welcome to come help Agarin but even then the Gukko Force won't respond unless Kotu asks. This is a Marine problem. We're not going to get help. Better that way. We need to prove to ourselves we don't need to be scared anymore. A lot of Ga-Matoran have bad memories of the last three Raids. Time we stood up for ourselves instead of relying on others."

  2. "Mmm... Plantlife Matoran. Obviously you're here for the Irregulars then." Mukaka said before sighing."Ah well. Welcome to the Gukko Force Irregulars. Lesse... Eh, screw it. I'll drop you in the 4th too. Do yourself a favor kid, keep your head down, nose up, and listen to you squadmates. You'll get through your service just fine. Kylina and her lot know how to survive so listen well."-------"Are you gonna grab a brew and siddown or stand there like a Husi caught in sunrise?" Kylina said to the Le-Matoran still standing there."Yeah come on dude! Bring a slosh and let's get WASTED!" Tawk said."Like a swarm of RAMA!" Mawl replied.

  3. Kylina's eyes shifted to the Le-Matoran who'd cleared his throat."Whutdayawant?" She asked."Says he got reassigned to us." Mawl said."Oh. Well then grab a drink and siddown." She said. "You waiting on an invitation?" She turned back to the Ta-Matoran. "Where was I? Oh right! So then he turns around and decks the knucklehead right in the kisser and says 'What do you take me for? A Ruki?' To which I said 'Probably, he was looking to get you hook, line and sinker!'"The Matoran all started laughing.

  4. Yes there will be battle summaries and reports as each day goes on.No there will not be a live chat.It will be played normally like any other combat you've seen. The system just resolves the fights quicker based on the combatants' RP'ing ability. Who types best, wins. Whichever side achieves the most wins is the victor.Granted the Beta is going to be heavily scripted for a certain outcome as it's more to test the system then for fun but future battles will be open ended and allow the players to decide who achieves victory.Meaning YOU will write the history books......IN BLOOD.That is all.

  5. OOC: She's there. I can only do so many characters before I need to take a break and let people respond or nobody would ever get to play with me. She's just being quiet right now. Unless I say otherwise, assume all of my characters are together.IC: Nuraka 'tch'ed. "That was we said the last time they rampaged through. 'course back then we didn't have the Marine Corps ether. They're going to get a nasty surprise this time around."Kali looked back toward Agarin. "Us alone aren't going to cut it." She said. "It's likely there's going to be more Tarakava then you've ever seen grouped together in one place. If we don't stop them should they decide to attack, they'll overrun Ga-Koro in mere seconds. They did the last three times. This time we'll stop them but it's likely going to take every Marine we have. Hence why there's a mass recall."

  6. Don't expect it to fall together immediately. It's still in Alpha Testing. So far it looks reasonable but until I get it done and released for Beta which will be the Fourth Raid there's going to be some issues.Once Beta is concluded I would appreciate the feedback so can fine tune it for regular use.Granted the system is designed more for mass PvP events and not intended to be used to replace the current combat system as it stands now. It's meant to quickly resolve the scenarios during the event in a timely manner so that a conclusive decision on how the event ends can be reached. It is heavily based on player RP'ing ability and will most likely evolve as time goes on.

  7. If you looking into doing that, you're best off talking to some of the local Guardsmen. The Rahi-Matoran War hasn't ended. Once I get the battle system in place after testing it with the Tarakava Raid, expect to see more events pop up revolving around the conflict.

  8. No, it won't take place for awhile. Odds are I'll drag out the travels but it won't happen until both Emzee posts the news article I gave him or I make the announcement here and Kalama Raider's get to Ga-Koro. Then recruitment for both sides will open up for awhile before the actual fighting starts. You're welcome to make references to the force build up since you're already there and can see everything though.

  9. "Did I miss anything important?" A voice from Nen's shoulders asked."Yes you did Nala." Kalama responded. "You missed a lot.""Oh good. Better than missing nothing. If nothing is missing then I have no reason to even hang around.""Very cute.""I try." Nala grinned."Tarakava massing outside Naho Bay. Cha-Codfish is recalling all available Marines.""We are due for another raid then.""Right now it's a stand off. To see who blinks first."Nala blinked. "Does that mean I win?" She asked.

  10. "ANOTHER one?" The Onu-Matoran said as he continued to hop along. "You the second one in days! We just got a new CO too!"He lifted his foot gently depositing the brew on the table before putting one down and taking the one on the top of his head down."It's about time bro!" Another Onu-Matoran said who except for the Mask looked and sounded EXACTLY like the Onu-Matoran who had delivered the drinks. He grabbed the drink and started slamming it back."AAAAHHHH! That's the good slosh! Mawl you know how to stir and not shake.""Only the best for bro-kind Tawk!" Mawl said. The clinked glasses."Broforce!" They chorused before chugging the drinks. The Ga-Matoran seated in the booth rolled her eyes at the pair. "You two are such hams.""Better than scrambled eggs Mistress Kylina!" They chorused again after wiping their mouths at the exact same time."Don't. Call. Me. That." She growled before swallowing some of the brain numbing liquid.

  11. "What about Mistress Kylina?" an Onu-Matoran said as he hopped by on one foot. Two drinks were held in ether hand. A third was balanced on his foot while a fourth was balanced on his head.He was obviously very practiced with doing this as he barely spilled any drink as he hopped along.

  12. Just don't split the party, no good ever comes of it. XDRegardless of anyone else's intentions and reasons, I have no reason to go Rahkshi hunting until attacked as all of my chars are currently unaware of the situation until further notice. You go have fun. I'm going to sit comfortably until the alarm is sounded.

  13. Okay. I'll give ya that. The question is... do you REALLY want to go investigate something that sounds like a banshee wailing when you can't see what it is to make sure it's... well... REASONABLY harmless? After all, isn't that how the first person gets killed in a horror survival B movies?

  14. See?Though since Po-Koro was just attacked. I doubt news will have traveled south that far that fast so nobody here actually has a reason to go hunting for them yet.We don't even know they exist at that pond until someone stumbles across them or they cross paths looking in another location.

  15. "You're welcome!" Lei called back cheerily."You get used to her." Hotu said. "Especially considering how much blood we've shared, she'd kind of refreshing messily cutting apart her foes only to pop up and ask Maya what a certain thingy is she found inside them.""It's good to see SOMEONE take the opportunity to learn something seriously." Maya said accusingly."Pssh." Hotu waved her hand dismissively. "All I need to know is how hard and how many times I need to hit something until it dies."

  16. Or all six Rahkshi will be soundly thumped and killed.Or the Hau Karda will all be killed and it's up to the Le-Koro Gukko Force to defend their home.Or everybody all fails, Le-Koro burns, and only five villages remain.Or the Rahkshi just turn around and go home.Or I could stop even though I could come up with more outcomes ranging from realistic to outlandish.Speculation is good for planning the outcome you desire. But I do agree that whatever the outcome. There will be Chaos.

  17. Lieutenant Mukaka waved his hand dismissively. "I don't know. Probably down at the Leaky Drum or something. She's not hard to miss. She's a Ga-Matoran. She'll probably have the other three with her. A Ta-Matoran and Two Onu-Matoran."

  18. It's very true surprise can only do so much. After the first 5 seconds of an ambush after the first move is made it's no longer an ambush despite if the surprise attack(s) make contact or not. It's a pitched fight that can quickly go ether way.Rahkshi only have one exploitable weakness (Kraata) and even then it's extremely well protected. Explosives aren't going to do much against them except maybe tick them off. If you get lucky you might blow a leg off or something but that's hardly going to matter as unless there's some kind of Bio-feedback. Rahkshi can't feel pain otherwise, they're just mechanized power suits.

  19. "Plenty, as well as Nui and some mutations." Lei said scanning the area ahead of them in all directions. "You couldn't go more then 5 minutes without a fight breaking out in Rockwall. 30 if you were on your mandatory break rotation during your cycle. In, out, underwater, didn't matter. I pulled one's brain out through it's eye socket once. Lemme tell you that's not easy. They've got big brains, they just haven't evolved to our level. I learned at lot about anatomy cutting up random baddies!" She said with a cute grin on her face.

  20. Mukaka glanced up hearing 'Reassignment.'"Oh."He turned to glance at his inbox and rooted through it before pulling up a personnel file someone must have slipped in among the requests."Mmmmmph... Lans... Lans... Levolans. Pilot. You're the... ah what does it matter, I've lost count of how many self proclaimed 'Gukko Force Aces' have come through here." He looked up at the Matoran leaning back in his chair."So you're responsible for the 'Rama Hive' incident I see. Fitting they slot you over here. With a record like this you're probably going to get pasted." He read through more of the file before chuckling. "You're glue for sure. You've got the skills but with the attitude here listed by your past leadership. I'd give you a week and an half, two weeks before you're a smear on something." He closed the file."You better smarten up if you wanna live to see reassignment back to the Regulars son. Pride takes a nose dive into the dirt here. Not even Nui-Kopen can carry that kind of weight. In any case it looks like the 4th is due this round so you'll be with Kylina and her lot. Off with you then."
