Such a great movie cult classic. -Omi

Just one of the questions I was asked during my interview. I didn't want to think about it, but my answer was Kopaka. I told her how awesome and appealling he was. Anyways where to start. I arrived early because I was going to have lunch with Steve Witt, since we are chums. He gave me a quick tour of the first floor of the Brick House, and my jaw dropped. You know the saying "like a kid in a candy store". Yah this was like 10x more than that. Basically the large store models you see in stores and cons, and smaller custom models built by the staff, and set models are just everywhere. So ate lunch with Steve and Eric in the LEGO CAFETERIA!!! Ok not as amazing but still. So after lunc went back into their office area and I got to build one of the Lego Store event models, which was cool and I even got to give feedback on it. After that, I just chilled and watched some comedy on their TV to kill the 15 minutes I had remaining. As far as for the interview, I think I did pretty good. Their offices are littered with Lego too. I don't know if I got the job or not, but I will get the results by the end of the week. -Omi

My grandfather passed away today. His health had been failing the past few weeks, and thankfully I was able to visit with him the last few days to get my chance to say goodbye. It was hard leaving his bedside yesterday, knowing it would be the last time I saw him. But my aunts, uncles, and nephews were all able to make it down yesterday to spend some time with him and with each other. When my mom called this morning, I knew exactly what it was...and in a way I was preparred to hear the news. I took my time getting up, and by the afternoon had made it over to my grandmother's. There, several of us spent the day sharing stories, joking around, and ended the evening with some dinner from Green Mill and some desert (pie cake!). It was an odd day. Nobody was visibly upset, but obviously it was on everybody's mind. My grandmother gave me some of his clothes to take home, which she thought I could put to use. I felt odd taking them, but I could tell it was helping her cope, so I accepted them. I dunno how long it will be before I'm able to wear them...if ever. Why am I writing this? I guess it just feels good to get it out there. But also, to reaffirm something you hear frequently. Never leave angry, and always be sure to tell the ones you care about that you love them.

I am remaking Walter. He will be bigger. He will be even greater. Expect flames. Expect tentacles. Expect jet wings. -Omi

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is only a few weeks away now. And I've gotten myself ready by watching the first movie, as well as buying the first two Constructicons (Rampage and Demolisher), and have started saving up for the next two (Long Haul and Mixmaster). I only hope the other three get Deluxe or bigger releases...and I also want this. This movie needs to be awesome.

A reminder to all. Just in case some haven't heard, Steampunk is making its way back into the Lego conventions. It was a huge hit at Brickfest 06, but since then the theme itself hasn't done much, and I wanted to change that. Brickfair Coordinator Todd Webb has granted me the position as Steampunk Coordinator. I would love to see amazing things from you guys if you are attending Brickfair. Brickfair will be held on August 21-23, with the expo being on the 22 and 23. There will be an award for the best model and also a very large prize donated by me. Thanks much. Brickfair Steampunk Coordinator Shilo Parker

Finally got around to seeing the movie due to busy schedule. Movie was fantastic. Arnold was fantastic. The kid who played Kyle Reese actually looks like Kyle Reese. And unlike the show, which I stopped watching after its first episode, the movie keeps up continuity. -Omi

Good news is that I have internet now. Bad news is that I am having troubles linking the DSL to wireless. -Omi

A rant towards fans and their little gripes on movie adaptions of comics, books, and video games. Seriously people. When a comic or a video game becomes a movie, you should have full knowledge that it won't be an exact detail for detail copy. You guys mince every small detail and just go overboard. Seriously, shut up. It is a movie. Does it really matter that Silver Fox is the sister to Emma Frost? Does it really matter that Krillin was not in Dragonball? Does it matter that Deadpool had his mouth sewed, despite that fact that it was Stryker who sewed it up and controlled him, and the mouth was slit open in the end? Does it really matter? Just enjoy the freakin movie. Even video games and comics contradict themselves. -Omi

My head is still spinning from the LOST season 5 finale. So many storylines starting to come together, and a much clearer picture of what's going to happen in the final season is in place. 2010 will not come fast enough. I'm going to have to rewatch this to see if I can piece together some more clues. But I have to admit the writers did an amazing job of wrapping threads together.

We all have them. No doubt about it. Mine usually involve stupid humor that always get a lol from me. Not sure how many watch the show, but I happen to watch iCarly sometimes, because I just enjoy Jerry Trainor's character Spencer. The idiocy he brings to the show just makes me laugh. If anyone watches the show, you will know what I mean. Also there is Spongebob. Love the show for Patrick. -Omi

This was something you only see on TV and I have never seen it happen in person. I was at Holyoke Community College using their computers, and as I was going to my car, a girl put her coffee cup on top of her car, and left it there. But that isn't the hilarious part. She drove off with the coffee still on top of her car and I saw it fall over and spill all over the pavement. And she didn't even stop to notice. -Omi

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but after an early 6 year hiatus I've started watching pro-wrestling again. Started sometime last year (I think just after Wrestlemania)...and since then I've watched my first PPV (Wrestlemania 25) at a buddy's place. Well, the two of us caught a promo the other day for a house show coming to a stadium nearby. On an impulse, the two of us grabbed tickets. So both of us are hitting our first wrestling event. It's not a taping for their weekly shows, nor is it a pay-per-view. I've been told by those who've been to them that they're pretty entertaining and have less talking and more matches. So it should be a lot of fun. I'd mention a few of the guys who are scheduled to be there but I dunno who of you would recognize them. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures...though it's still a way away.

So I was thinking...this year it's Swine Flu. Not to long ago it was Avian Flu. What happens if these two deadly diseases should combine forces? What are you waiting for? RUN!

I have so much work to do for Brickfair. I still have to make the Falcon and Hilda Garde III airships. I started on them, but I need to have them finished, specifically Hilda Garde III. I also need to start on my "Maria and Draco" Opera vignette (if I can't finish it, it will just be Aria de Mezzo Carattere), and also start on Safer Sephiroth as well. And if I have the time, more FF vignettes. -Omi

One thing I really hate is when people have their high beams on, and drive directly behind me (correct term would be "riding my bumper"). And if they really wanna get me going, they have the nerve to flash their lights at me. -Omi
