Now now, I don't know why the Doctor is called the Doctor. But while he is very cool, I have always wondered: Would you trust the Doctor if he were to operate surgically on you?

So today I went to a university library. Since it's a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded, but there were people there. But... it was super quiet. Like, even very low whispering seemed like screaming in that extreme silence. It was so intimidating. D: Never underestimate the power of silence.

We watched this movie today in art class instead of having a final exam. My teacher said that she chose to watch this because of all the interesting design used throughout. And it was beautiful. Just beautiful.

Today everyone was expecting a snow day, where we get off from school, or at least a two-hour delay. Well, neither of those happened. Some people who lived extremely far away or were just lazy didn't come at all, a bunch came late, and everyone who came in general felt depressed because they got worked up for nothing. And so, I have Italian first period, and by the end of the period only a total of ten students came to class. We sat in a little circle and worked on a small packet to review for our final. It was really fun - we were all close, it was easy to ask questions, and we got a few good laughs out of the situation. I've never been a class so small and now I wish a lot of my classes were like that. I see the advantage in small classes now. The rest of my classes had at least 20 students present. Oh an one girl who came into Italian halfway through the class announced she had candy for everyone, since we didn't have a snow day and she wanted to make us all happier. D'aw.

(well, my computer decided to restart itself while I was writing this entry the first time) Tangled was a lovely film. Beautiful music as well, combined with animations and romance. But... Rapunzel's hair didn't really get tangled much during the movie, with all that action and wilderness around her... How does she manage all that hair and brush it so smoothly every time?

So today was the last day of school for the year 2010, and my entire school was in a very festive mood. Paper snowflakes decorated the school, food was everywhere, gifts were everywhere, people dressed fancy, the band and choir walked around the school playing music and singing, and half of the student body (exaggerated?) were wearing Santa hats. However! A freshman in my Chemistry class wasn't wearing a Santa hat. She was wearing a pirate's hat. *thumbs up*

Ah man, I dislike this week so far. I've had fake stomach aches for half of it, haven't gotten enough sleep, and can hardly focus on my artwork. Thankfully I'm not drawing or cutting in Printmaking, we're only making the actual prints with the giant, old machines. Except today I'm legit sick, and I could hardly walk this morning from the pain, so I stayed home. There's breakfast on the table, and I'm hungry, but it doesn't look appetizing (nor does anything else in the house) and I'm afraid to eat it. ): However, tomorrow and Friday will be awesome. My friend from Texas is visiting, and we get to dress up in school on Friday for the half-day. :3 And that leads to my current task of making my sick day productive! Preparation for NaNoWriMo! - Concept: oh man I need to fix quite a few things here. Really old, messy, and has lots of blanks were crucial information should be. Plus editing characters. - Music: I'm building a playlist for the event of awesome soundtrack and trailer music, some nice Japanese songs, some metal songs, etc. I'm going to need that inspiration. But this is going to be fun and I'm so excited :3

Well, my chemistry teacher changed today permanently. Instead of the one I mentioned last week from the first day of school, I now have a different one that I know slightly better (she supervised a club I was in last year). Apparently the two teachers randomly swapped classes. The exact reason is known. Oh well, at least she's not seating us alphabetically unlike my other teachers. I'm always the absolute last person in the back corner because of my obscure name. ;_; Except in history - I was almost seated in the corner and my teacher asked me if the seat was okay, and I told him I couldn't see as well from there, so I'm closer up front now. And the sight thing is slightly true at least, though I've survived sitting in the back plenty of times in my life.

I went to that used bookstore again, and checked out what they had. I got two volumes of Gon (volumes 2 and 6) and a volume of something I don't know. I don't know it because it's in Japanese, so I can't read the title. If anyone knows Japanese and would like to read the title for me, just ask and I can scan in the cover. Aaanyways I feel artistically mehh. I have a project in art where I have to illustrate a thing from a combination of sentence starters and nouns from the chalkboard. I chose "Daughter of Atomic Particles" (though it should really be subatomic particles). I started the drawing, but I have some problems with anatomy I have to fix. And perspective on this will be a pain. My friend also requested a bookmark from me. I have also been long working on a fanart for Alice Human Sacrifice (Vocaloid song) but I can't find free and alone time to work on it. One reason why I can't wait until school and testing is over. =D Durarara!! is an awesome show. Just amazing. <3 Leader knows how crazy it is. @Blade - one of the characters actually has something similar to Novia's anger, where he gets supa-strong. =P And, I have worn my Torchic hat all week to school, and I've gotten used to it now. Might not match my outfit all the time, but it's still awesome.

So remember that children's story writing contest I entered? In today's weekly student bulletin at school, there was a section that mentioned myself and another girl that got in. Everyone was like "yay" until we realized that my friend who illustrated my story and the partner of the girl I just mentioned were both not included in the bulletin. But my English teacher called the office, and hopefully they'll fix it in the online version. =D My friend in science class also somehow obtained Russia's (Hetalia) character CD from Japan, and let me borrow it for the weekend, mostly for the instrumentals. It's pretty cool, and has inspired me to draw a bookmark. As if I don't have enough to draw already (thanks for the pressure, Blade =P). And my dad is magical. He has this tape that is the same color as a normal, boring brown package. So since he has a package he needs to send, he found some random big box from a blender or something, and just wrapped it up in this tape. It looks just like a normal package, it's crazy. Also guys why is four-chambered heart more advantageous than a three-chambered heart? Cuz I have no idea D: *drawdraw*

Remember the contest I mentioned a while ago in here? My friend and I managed to enter that contest with the help of my English teacher. The illustrations and all were on computer, so we had to email it. My teacher only saw the book today since I emailed it to her, and she said it was wonderful. With three exclamation marks. And recently I got a letter saying our entry is in the Top 10 finalists for the city. B) Winners are gonna be announced at a ceremony around June 3, I'm excited~ Also dunno about you but a Biscuit Hammer is more awesome than a Banhammer.

So some weeks ago my Italian class watch a movie called Cinema Paradiso (Cinema Paradise). We apparently watched the version that the United states released. Buuut The actual movie released in Italy was 3 hours long, so an hour of important scenes were chopped out of the movie to please the American watchers that would rather see a shorter film, foreign or not. We watched the movie with those scenes, and it was amazing and tear-jerking. I just can't believe that such moments would be left out. While the ending shown in the US made sense, a lot of meaning is lost. This saddens me.

no not of the end Today was another day of Spirit Week at my school, Wacky Tacky Wednesday. Originally I was going to wear some weird outfit but then last-minute, I decided to stick with a sign. I took a piece of paper and a red marker and wrote "WACKY" on the paper, then punched holes in the top and tied string through them. I wore the sign around my neck all day, except for gym and last period. Everybody loved it. B) Then I went to that awesome bookstore, and I got three books: A Fullmetal Alchemist art book for ~$13, the second volume of Gundam Seed Destiny for $2.50, and the first volume of Alichino also for $2.50. Woohoo~ The art books will really help with making my bookmarks. =D EDIT: How could I forgot an awesome and suckish part of my day? So at one train station, there was this EPIC electric violinist who played an awesomesauce rock/metal song and drew a very large crowd. I gave him a salute. And at one of the largest train stations in my city, it is so HUGE I almost got lost just transferring trains to get home. And when I got a train, it kept staying a station for minutes cuz of some train dispatcher keeping it there. Stupid train dispatcher... But epic violinist was still epic.

Today, the city held a snow day. As mentioned earlier, it could mean the end of the world as we know it now that my city has had two snow days in a month. This is the Prophecy - and only you can save the world! You and your companions set out for the Park on this day, a place of nature built by Elves, I guess. You enter the park, and it is packed with snow, at least a foot of it. Walking is difficult, and your legs have a higher chance of getting tired in this environment. On the first pathway, you encounter a Fallen Tree. Luckily, it is easy to hop over. Unfortunately, directly after this tree is another Fallen Tree. You go under this one. You notice that along this pathway, many trees are missing or broken. The snow seems to have gotten deeper. You encounter another Fallen Tree. This time, you weave through a curtain of branches and twigs to get across. Down below you, you notice children play in the snow nearby a tree that is sulking under the weight of the snow. The scenery looks nice. Eventually, after passing several more fallen trees, you leave the first pathway and hit a crossroads, with a Castle peering down at you. You assume it is one of the ancient Elven castles. and admire its beauty. You choose your next path, and head down that one. You encounter a Wild Cat. With the intent of hunting it down, you approach the wild cat. With an evil glare at you, however, the wild cat makes its escape, and leaves behind a Decoy. Tricked by its cunning tactics, you abandon the hunt for the cat and continue your journey. As you continue, you reach another crossroads. On the rock wall between two paths are several icicles. Along the fresh snow of the pathway, you read an inscription, "Demons lurk," "Hello mortal >," and more such messages. Suddenly wary, you decide to equip Icicle, a deadly weapon. Well, maybe not. Unimpressed, you toss away icicle and equip Greater Icicle. Now you feel ready for the journey ahead, and choose a pathway. After going past more scary messages, you turn on the path. Now, you encounter an Ice Wall. Look at all those beautiful weapons on it, sadly it's too high for you to reach. Past the ice wall, you notice that various children have constructed a Wall out of snow and ice bricks. They must know of the demons too, and have created a barrier against them. You continue walking, and meet Epic Snowman. Snowman tells you the direction that you must go in in order to fulfill your destiny, whatever that may be. You scoff at Snowman, and head off towards the direction he pointed. As you walk, you observe the snow-covered Tree of Wisdom, planted by those Elves long ago. And then... From the treetops, a Ray of Hope shines down at you! You suddenly feel confident in your quest to save the world, and race ahead. On a Tree, you notice green Ivy growing up on it. The Elves must still dwell here, you wonder. Nearby this tree is a Gate that is mostly blocked off by snow. As you trudge onward, you can feel the snow and sleet slapping you against the face, the only part of your body that isn't covered by an article of Clothing you equipped before this adventure. The snow, however, is more cushioning to your step, rather than having you fall through just as you step on it. You try to go down a staircase to go through a tunnel, but the stairs are covered in snow and ice, and a Fallen Tree in in your way. Disappointed, you continue on. You pass by a More Graceful Ice Wall. It's very pretty, though the icicles on it are weak. Good for throwing knife substitutes, though. Right near this ice wall is a tunnel, so you go through it. Your voice echoes in this tunnel, and you are temporarily shielded from the snow. Once you're out, there is nothing noteworthy. Just snow. You struggle to go down a last flight of stairs, before you finally exit the Park. You realize the Prophecy is a lie and this entire journey was pointless, so you go home in shame. --- This was my day, only in a more... interesting way.

e. e. cummings (lowercase to respect how he likes to write) is a poet who experiments with grammar and breaks the rules of the English language. I want to hug him because a poem of his that we read and deciphered in English today gave me a story idea. I want to kill him because a little bit of rage instinctively boils up in me when I see bad grammar. And since many of his poems are all not proper grammar, you can guess how much rage I've boiled in my pot.

I never updated you guys but literary essay went fine. Dunno when the grade will come in. Anyways, in English today my teacher told us to write a poem about "duality," and there were no rules or restrictions to what we could write. So this is the original of what I wrote in that class (the penultimate stanza is a bit sketchy :/): Indeed I am I am a man, But not just any man - A special man. I can laugh hysterically, And cry from deep depression - All at once And none at all. I can smell delicious desserts, But the sight does not delight me. The taste is that of death, But the crunch is much alive. I slick my hair back, And wear the poor man's clothes, Shiny black boots, And dirty fingerless gloves. To my touch, ice is fire, Women's skin is colder than snow, Blood boils in corpses, And makes blue the hearts of the living. To those who love me, My touch is to be shunned. My eyes are beautiful, And my scent is horridly strong. To those who hate me, They taste defeat in me, Yet they see a graceful master Whose beauty and thought are unmatched. You see, I am indeed a man, A very special man. I am a god and I am a slave. I am a man.

Glucagon is just an awesome-sounding word. Don't you agree? It sounds like something someone would name their mech or robot (at least, I would xP). But, sadly, it is something that regulates blood sugar levels when they get low. How disappointing. And Blade got the 800th comment in the blog. Not very exciting comment, but I just happened to notice it. =P

Two movie entries in a row! Woohoo! So since I didn't get to see it on Monday, I went and saw Avatar today, in 3D. I have to say, it was pretty amazing and not what I expected. Lots of pretty things too. <3 EDIT: Typos fixed. Grazie, Sisen. =P

Back from the cinema. I was supposed to see Avatar, but the earliest show time was two hours from the time I got to the theater, so I chose to watch Sherlock Holmes. It was brilliant.

S the main thing I got for Christmas was a graphics tablet. Just before I started this entry, I had installed it and set it up and tested it out. After the short setup, there was the tutorial. Since my computer's set to Russian language, the entire thing is in Russian. It was funny every time the guy in the audio was saying for me to try out something - when I did it right, there would be a little window that opened up with a smiley face, and he would say in Russian, "Good job! You're getting there!" or something like that. My translation probly sucks, but it was still funny. Then I drew a sloppy picture of Kakashi, and then one of Timcanpy, in Photoshop. Fun Fact: Disky got a bottle of white-out for Christmas too. =D (amongst other things) Merry Christmas, everyone! ^^

So sometimes, I ponder too hard about a certain word. I think about it, repeat it in my head over and over and over, try and spell it out several times, fit it into sentences, etc. And the longer I think, the less the word makes sense to me. I start to not understand the meaning, correct spelling, usage, existence, and other aspects. "Disturb" and "yet" are some of the latest words I've pondered about. And, for no reason I know of, large words don't really get pondered about in such a way. What a strange habit I have.
