http://th03.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2014/171/7/0/mocthulhu_by_orionide5-d7n5es3.jpg It all started when I was looking at Gresh's helmet and lamenting how useless it was for making anything that wasn't Gresh... and suddenly, I realized there WAS something I could do with it! Building a Lego Cthulhu isn't a novel idea, but I don't think there are many others who did it without using any parts that actually look like tentacles. For the unacquainted, Cthulhu is an unfathomable, godlike being from the books of H.P. Lovecraft, and while it might be a little heretical to assume that its cyclopean, eldritch form can be depicted accurately, I did try to at least keep all the concretely described details from the story. (What are "flabby claws?") You won't find any advanced building techniques here, except possibly the attachment of the tentacles to the face, but I just like how it turned out. Perfect size to menace some minifigs get wiped out by a Lego boat. I don't think they should count. More MOCs on the way! Image isn't too big, is it? Edit: Image was indeed a bit big for BBC, so I linked it for you. -Wind-
