discuss current fitness goals here. what do you bench, what do you beep, what sports are you currently playing/what are you training for. this thread can be your motivation if you have none other.

 

to get the conversational ball going, is there any practical reason to get fit beyond a certain healthiness level? IE if you are fit enough to prevent any major health issues, is there a practical reason to become more fit outside of professional reasons?

Well let's see, get stronger so I won't be arm locked when arm wrestling with a girl that I know. (Yes. It's sad) Impress someone (Not the same person as mentioned before), and to just be strong. It's been a ling time since I benched something, but it's also been about 2-3 months since I did Insanity. After the fit test, BOOM, done. I had pain in an area I cannot mention.

I use to be in really great shape back when I was working towards my black belt. Since then, I've been meaning to start doing a lot more exercise before taking up Fencing next semester. Probably thinking of doing just sit ups, push ups, and some walking/running.
