Ballom Nom Nom
Flickr A curiously crystallized giant insect known to occasionally terrorize cities. Perhaps throw a Rock Pikmin at it? AKA some fun making a minor MOC out of the new trans light blue pieces from Crystal Beast and Stormer. With Insectoids wings thrown in for good measure because come on, who didn't like the Insectoids? Plus the darker trans blue makes a good combination with the lighter. ~B~
Tristan Teridax
That looks so neat with the trans blue parts and that pikmin 3 reference was awesome.

Chro
The combination of azure with transparent blue is excellent.(I know, I got the exact color names wrong, sorry Aanchir.) Quote save not only their lives but their spirits
Ballom Nom Nom
That looks so neat with the trans blue parts and that pikmin 3 reference was awesome. Thanks! It occurred to me after making the MOC that it resembled creatures from that game like the Armored Mawdad, whose armor you had to break off. I love Pikmin 3, too. It's so fun and adorable. Ooohh, I love the translucent blue pieces - it looks phenomenal!I'm glad that you like the MOC. I think I had just enough transparent blue to pull it off, although some black was needed as well for the claws, lower jaw, abdomen, joints, etc. The combination of azure with transparent blue is excellent.(I know, I got the exact color names wrong, sorry Aanchir.)Hey, I never get the exact names of Lego colors right. I just call the ones on the Crystalmite dark trans blue and light trans blue, really. But thanks, I do agree that they made a good combination. Those Insectoid wings are great pieces to use, too. ~B~ Edited August 10, 2014 by Ballom
Makuta Miras
I love this. The trans-blue goes really well with the black, and I especially like how it looks as if the black stuff is the body, and the trans-blue is an exoskeleton of some sort. One last thing:That green piece on the back stands out a bit too much, although you have done a pretty good job of covering it up with that Bohrok windscreen. So I would give this a 9/10. This an excellent MOC and one which would probably do pretty well in a contest.

What you call a green piece is actually one of those small yellow bushings that fits an axle, which looks green because of the trans blue over it. I thought it looked interesting as a small splash of a different color, but to each their own. (Unless you meant a different piece, that is.) ~B~
