MetroidwaveX50
I am trying to figure out whether every copy of a 2005 set shares a spinner code, or whether each has its own, unique code. If any one has any information, please tell me. Quote Did you go to the 2002 'The Power Lies Beneath' tour?If yes, PM me. I'm looking for something that was only distributed during that tour. 2Tie
My white rhotuka from Kualus has a different code than the one in the BrickLink image for the piece, so I think they're all unique.(mine's E5HTYH btw) Quote ~Bionicle Online Games Guru~ Current Bionicle Sets: 232/250 2001: 23/24 2002: 20/21 2003: 22/22 2004: 22/22 2005: 23/23 2006: 16/22 2007: 22/22 2008: 25/27 2009: 26/26 2010: 4/6 2015: 18/18 2016: 11/
xccj
The codes were for the Kanoka club back in the day. The idea was you'd enter the code (thus proving you had purchased the set) and get points that you could spend to buy content like wallpapers, music downloads, short animations, ext. (This started in 2004 with the Kanoka disc codes and carried over in 05). I believe each set came with one rhotuka with a code printed on the side. So sets like the Hordika and Visorak that came with two rhotuka had one with a code and one without. (And the collectible pack of rhotuka only had one that came with a code, I believe.) With the passing of the Kanoka club, there's not really anyplace left to enter in those codes. I think they would all be unique, considering their length. Also, they wanted to steer away from the issue in 04 where people could look up the disk codes online and use them without buying the set, so I think each one was unique and had a 1 time only entry for points. (I think that was relevant... if not, yay useless background info!) Munty
I recently had a stack of almost 30 coded disks on my desk and I'm pretty sure they're all unique. Sadly I've bagged each one up with a separate set now so I'm unlikely to start pulling them all out again to check. I do have a small pile in front of me but only 3 with codes, all are different but that's not a particularly large sample! Nidhiki of the Shadows
They were in Matoran print right? That's pretty cool then, I initially thought they were all the same but guess not! -NotS
